My husband and I have been here multiple times before, but it still does not miss. This place is absolutely delicious. Bella was our server today and was kind and had good energy/ service. We always get the same thing; lomo saltado and today we got to try chica morada which is a drink that has ginger, fruits, etc. and it is served cold and was very refreshing and felt very healing. Leyna was our server for lunch and we had a great time! The food was really delicious though a little on the pricier side but definitely worth a try. The place also has a nice atmosphere-- very decorated and pretty. Will be eating here in the future!

Worth visiting just for how chill the space is, but the food is also ridiculously good. Love when restaurants stick to a small menu of things they can make absolutely 10/10 for you, which Flama Llama does. Yuca fries were amazing with the lomo saltado. Kylie recommended a chicha morada which was delicious and I now need to try to make myself. 10/10 and will be coming every time I visit the city!!

This is my 2nd time coming here per my friend's recommendation! Our server Kylie was very friendly and sweet! We got to try an interesting drink called chicha morada which was really good! The yucca fries are also really good! I ordered them during my first visit and were really good so my friend and I made sure to order them again! We orderded the exact same thing which was the Tallarin Verde (see attached pictures) honestly, everything was delicous! I definately recommend the yucca fries ✌️☺️

Excellent service from April and Kylie! We were looking for a dinner spot and decided on this place. To my surprise this place was delicious. The Lomo Saltado (pictured below) was my absolute favorite! I also tried the Pollo a la brasa which was also so good i forgot to take a picture lol. The chicha morada is excellent! Very similar to the ones I had in Florida and free refill. Unbelievable!!

Always passing by here and finally stopped in for a bite. Was pretty impressed for a Peruvian place (love Peruvian cuisine). The tallarin Verde was perfect mix of flavor bombs, from the tangy lime to creamy jalapeño aioli with super fresh pesto and crispy cutlet. Emily was very helpful.

I came here with my Mom for an early dinner. I had the Saltado with steak. It was pretty good. What we really enjoyed the most was the Chica Morada beverage. It was very refreshing. Our server Chase was attentive to our needs. Nice Peruvian vibes. My Mom said she used to come here with my Dad so it has a special place in her heart (gotta make Mom's happy, always). I'd come back again.

Luke was amazing. Poor guy was by himself on Christmas but handled things fantastically. This was like my 6th or 7th time here and food NEVER disappoints. Got the Lomo Saltado with additional egg. Absolute fire 🔥. Will be back next time I’m in Kearney Mesa.

Great Peruvian food and amazing service! This place serves authentic Peruvian cuisine, and everything we tried was delicious. The chicha morada was such a nice touch, especially that it was complimentary. Huge shout-out to our server Kylie — she was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made the whole dining experience even better. She explained the dishes patiently and checked in on us at just the right moments. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, and the service really stood out. Would definitely come back and highly recommend!

Bold flavors that pack serious heat don’t underestimate the spice level here! But it’s that perfectly balanced kind of spicy that keeps you coming back for more. The portions are generous. It feels fresh and authentic. We were in a rush so we called in our order and was ready right when we arrived. Their churros. I’m going to be bold and say they’re better than Disney’s. We just had half the menu here and everything was absolutely delicious. Service was fantastic. The wings were super crispy and flavorful, the fried plantain was sweet and not overly greasy (get it with the green sauce!) Pork tacos were very fatty but so tasty, with super fresh corn tortillas. Ropa Vieja was very tasty. They offer lots of drink offers that are very refreshing! Highly recommend

Flama Llama was great! We’ve been eying it for a while and I’m glad we finally checked it out. When we came it was the middle of a weekday, but the service was fast and polite! Our server was Emily, she was great! The food and drinks and food were also very tasty! I got the chicken milanesa and green pasta, the chicha morada, the maracuya drink, and the lychee llama. I didn’t write the review till after so my plate was clean, but it was very good!

Stopped in this evening out of pure cusitioty of the branding and name. Talk about service! Interacted with Tanya (princess in the making), Leyna (busting her ass), and Alexis (sweet pea making all the things happen)! Loved these ladies! Tonya served me and was out-freaking-standing! The food? 🤌 So good! I had a couple drinks and the wonton soup with the saltado Mar y Tierra. Loved it! Also had some of their plantains which were exactly sweetened to perfection without being too much. Very tasty! Highly recommend swinging through Flama Llama! FANTASTIC service. Food matches the level of service. Overall outstanding experience! 👍👍

I don’t glaze service too often but Tonya was genuinely excited to tell us about the cuisine and profiles of each dish. Yucca fries are a must, they are better than french fries in my opinion. Food came out within 2-3 minutes, so nice. After tip for 3 dishes and an authentic Peruvian banana pineapple drink it was $60. Filled us 2 up nicely. Such a quality experience, looking forward to coming back.

The Lomo Saltado had great flavor, though the rice was slightly overcooked. Garlic Noodles with Chicken were tasty. However, the chicken was a bit dry, and the sauce was quite overpowering in the Tallarin Verde. ​The real stars, however, were the drinks! The Sangria, Lychee Llama, and Chicha Morada are must-tries. Churro were delicious, though they would be even better paired with ice cream instead of whipped cream. Worth a visit for the drinks and the service!

Atmosphere is great, beautifully decorated. Bella our waitress was friendly. Portions are generous except for the pollo brasa. The yucca is delicious, perfectly crispy. Lomo beef was tender and Flavored well and the verde pasta was good as well.

This was our first here and it started out as a wonderful experience became quiet unfortunate at the end. We had half of the leftovers from the main meal and a few of the appetizers we wanted to take home but we were splitting the food. The waitress was on point from beginning and the middle however as I was going through their unexpectedly long prompts for payment she was in quite a hurry after I said give me a minute as I was paying she cleared the main dish to the kitchen and the food we were going to bring home was trashed. I completely understand that mistakes happen but this was literally half a plate of food that was wasted. She did offer to make it right but my friend was very upset and I was in geniuine shock that good food was wasted. I was looking forward to writing a really good review but the place wasn't busy enough to be in a hurry to clear the table. There was plenty of room for everything to be left. I only noticed after we were leaving that the table behind us had stacks of plates with the customers at the table as well. But our table plate needed to be cleared, it made for a very chaotic situation. The waitress was very apologetic and gave us options to make up for it. Unfortunately I left a decent tip before I realized the food was trashed. Good fusion food.
