I just had to leave another 5 star review for this place! It starts with the helpful smile at the ordering window where you are given a number which you take to your table. Within a few minutes your drink order arrives and soon after the meal. Having had the fish and chips several times and been blown away by the taste and quantity, this time I opted for the wings which are also deep fried in beef tallow. Just unbelievable. If you are on the carnivore diet this is a must have meal that will leave you satiated and full of protien. Ask for them extra crispy and you won't be disappointed. Be sure and order the large order because heated up the next day is just as good as the first! The homemade ginger dipping sauce is the perfect marriage! That an a cold Mango Cart makes the night complete!

My wife and I were in San Diego for two weeks and stopped in a couple of times. The food, drinks and especially the staff were all fantastic and we really enjoyed the game room. The day before we flew home we decided to get takeout for the flight home. We ordered one of our faves, the grilled chicken bahn mi burrito, this thing is MASSIVE. We asked if it could be wrapped in foil so we could put it in a ziplock bag to travel with us. Everybody was so happy to accommodate us and asked questions about where we were flying to. We started eating that burrito after take off and did'nt finish it until we were approaching TF Green Airport in Rhode Island three thousand miles later, that was one hell of a burrito. Thanks so much Harbor Town Pub, you're the best and we especially loved the note on our take out bag.

Harbor Town Pub is fantastic. Definitely a staple of Point Loma. The food is great, the employees are always pleasant, and it has a pretty decent arcade on one half of the restaurant. The atmosphere is always jovial and it’s a place where everyone always seems to have a good time. I give it 4 stars for atmosphere only because it’s almost always very loud in there during peak hours. If you are trying to have a conversation with anyone, you have to almost yell. Just enjoy your food, enjoy the delicious drinks (they make a killer old fashioned), enjoy whatever games are on TV. It’s a great place. I go there often, and will continue going back.

Great people, great drinks, great atmosphere, and GREAT FOOD! Ever since I had the Tuna Tostado I have been dreaming of it. This place is so much fun. Saddle up to the bar and you are sure to strike up a conversation with friendly locals. I enjoyed chatting with Captain Chris, and Greg, and that other guy who sat next to us. Try the food! Oh, and walk around the place and check out the murals, including the Padres one in the back parking lot.

This spot had been on our list for a while, and we’re so glad we finally made it out to watch a Padres game! It’s a great family-friendly dive bar with a laid-back, lively vibe. There were multiple TVs throughout the bar and lots of Padres fans cheering alongside us, which made it even more fun. The food was great, and the overall atmosphere was exactly what we were hoping for. On top of that, they have a small arcade tucked away in the back, which was a hit with the kids... and with us! (Of course, we couldn’t resist playing a few games—my personal favorite was the duck claw machine, and we even walked away with two new ducks for our collection!) The service was excellent too. You order food and drinks at the counter, get a number for your table, and they bring everything out to you. After that, you can order another round directly from a server if you want, just make sure to close out your tab either with the server or back at the counter before you leave. Bonus: They have a parking lot in the back, which is a huge plus since parking can be tricky in this area. If you're looking for a casual, fun spot to catch a game, grab some food, and enjoy a great atmosphere, this place is definitely worth checking out!

We stopped in here during our visit to San Diego. We were here over the Thanksgiving weekend. The place wasn't that busy. We got seated very quickly. We ordered the Steakhouse burgers which was very delicious and full of flavor. We also had several draft beers and a margarita. The drinks were very refreshing. We enjoyed our visit and the staff were very nice and friendly, however the music was obnoxiously loud which shorted our visit.

Excellent food and service! I had the BBQ pork nachos and they were some of the best nachos I’ve ever had. The generous portion of pork was cooked perfectly and scattered over the nachos. Plenty of cheese and toppings with it. Also ordered two kids meals that were decent and the Asian chicken salad that was absolutely delicious. The seating is first come first serve but we were able to grab a table for four quickly on a Saturday evening. Staff behind the bar and food window made efforts to introduce themselves and note our names as well. The place was full and there were several other families with young kids there. It looked like a bar from the outside but I was pleasantly impressed with how family friendly it was inside. My husband and I would have loved to hang out here longer and will come back next time we are in San Diego.

The food, drinks & service were excellent! Felt like home away from home (Native Texans here) while we visited our daughter in the Navy. Have to find a reason to return! Jalapeño Bacon Burger is to die for! Visited several times while in SD for 4 days. You cannot go wrong. We had a blast. We have missed this place after returning home! Just found out that they have changed their oil to Beef Tallow. That limits their menu to anyone whom does not eat meat. I used to come here and have their fried fish sandwich with fries. But now they only fry everything in beef tallow, even French fries and brussel spouts. The only thing I can order now is their salad with seared tuna.
