Opinions de Intazza Coffee Mug & Grub San Diego
Intazza Coffee Mug & Grub – A Cozy Brunch Spot in Golden Hill/South Park Nestled in the Golden Hill/South Park neighborhood, Intazza Coffee Mug & Grub is a hidden gem for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. In an area primarily filled with housing, finding a cozy and stylish brunch spot like this is a pleasant surprise. Vibe & Atmosphere On weekdays, it’s a go-to spot for working professionals grabbing coffee or having casual meetings. Weekends, however, bring a more laid-back crowd, with people reading, chatting, and enjoying a relaxed morning. One of the standout aspects of Intazza is its extremely dog-friendly environment. The outdoor dining patio is spacious, making it a perfect spot for pet owners to bask in the San Diego sunshine while enjoying a meal with their furry friends. Inside, the industrial-style design is complemented by neon lights and photography of San Diego’s famous landmarks, adding a vivid and artistic touch to the space. The mix of regular tables, high chairs, and sofas makes for a versatile and comfortable dining experience. Food & Drinks While food preparation can take a bit of time, the quality and taste make it worth the wait. East Coast Breakfast Bagel – A must-try! The crispy bagel is generously coated in sauce, with a perfectly cooked over-easy egg and crispy bacon. There are also small chopped potatoes at the bottom, though I personally think they’d be better served on the side to pair with ketchup. Lavender Blackberry Latte – A March & April seasonal special, this drink is perfectly balanced with the richness of coffee, floral notes of lavender, and the sweet-tartness of blackberry. A refreshing and unique choice to start the day! Final Thoughts Intazza Coffee Mug & Grub is a charming neighborhood café that’s ideal for pet lovers, brunch enthusiasts, and anyone looking for a cozy yet trendy atmosphere. Whether you’re here for a casual coffee, a delicious brunch, or just to meet some adorable dogs, it’s a spot that adds joy to any morning.
Definitely a place I would frequent. $20 for large banana bread latte and breakfast sliders, 9/10 recommend. Very flavorful and savory. The atmosphere is very study safe and a cool "kick it" spot too. Very aesthetically pleasing. Very good Wi-Fi. (2 tests, 2 different visits.) Very enjoyable and a cute place for a date. Cool, calm environment. Very friendly staff, Please be nice to them. Sometimes gets busy randomly but still undisturbed studies. Some airplane fly overs, so bring headphones if you'd like. Calm Pet friendly. Elevated charging ports too keep charging cables off the floor. Very nice. Water station if you want to just come and study without ordering.
Delicious breakfast and this is a nice comfortable spot for doing work on top of it! Love that they also have kids options for food.
Friendly staff, tasty breakfast options that aren't too heavy, and good drinks whether you're looking for coffee or tea.
Came here for a couple of Moto Social gatherings. It's a good cafe with good drinks. I like the Matcha Latte because it's not too sweet. The staff is friendly and wonderful to interact with. The place is clean and had a bathroom available to customers. I would come again.
Awesome vibes at this place, airy & comfortable inside with friendly dogs of the customers. Service is quick and prompt. Food were yummy and hot drinks were on 👉 point!! Nice staffs.
5 stars!! Great food/coffee and amazing atmosphere. Lots of sun with floor to ceiling windows and comfortable seating. Great place to meet a group of people because of the large space and reasonable prices.
Stopped into Intazza in San Diego and I’ve got to say, it did not disappoint. I grabbed a works burrito and it was absolutely bomb—packed with flavor, fresh, and super satisfying. I paired it with an iced mocha that hit the spot, perfectly balanced and refreshing. But what really made the experience stand out was the service. Devan went above and beyond to make sure everything was on point. Friendly, attentive, and just genuinely welcoming—the kind of service that makes you want to come back. If you’re in San Diego and looking for a solid spot with great food, great drinks, and even better service, Intazza is the place.
Great coffee shop in Golden Hills/Southpark. The service was really awesome and the food and drinks were great! The atmosphere was also chill and laidback; perfect for studying, catching up with friends, or just vibing

Great location, parking is kind of a bummer sometimes but over all it’s my “go to” coffee/ breakfast place!! Devan is always a delight to see when you walk through the doors. 😊🙌🏻 If you’re in the area, come in and give it a try!! You won’t regret it!
First time I’ve had a fancy coffee with the swirl patterns. Ordered the cinnamon toast coffee and it did not disappoint. Hands down best cup of coffee I’ve had. Even if the cashier barista asked if I was a leprechaun, I’ll definitely be back!
I love this neighborhood coffee shop. It’s just what golden hill needed. The coffee is just delicious and well balanced. The servers are friendly, easy to chat with and accommodating. Erica and Devon are so great. I only wish the A/C was working during the hot days of summer

Great breakfast and coffee. The burritos are huge and they’re reasonably priced. I love the immuno latte right now as well. Large space for you to hang and work from
Intazza’s staff is amazing! The food is perfection. I love the breakfast burritos and the chicken pesto sandwich. The coffee is also sooo good. Definitely a San Diego staple.

Like the place. Big and clean and well organized!
I love the space! Coffee--not so much. I had cappuccino. The foam was not good. (See the photo) It felt like a bubble bath foam. Coffee is on the strong side. If you like a punchy coffee, you might like the coffee here. They don't have a ceramic cup and the coffee comes in the paper cup even if you are having it in the coffee shop. BUT, the space is really nice. High ceiling and lots of big windows make this place very airy and relaxed. They seems to have a really good selection of brunch menu too. Its a really relaxed space and some people are working and others are socializing. It's a great place over all.

Good coffee shop, love their "Good morning America" sandwich which has eggs and bacon with a brioche bun. They have a good selection of muffins too. The coffee is ok good ... love this location, spacious. Street parking can be dicy though

Parking was limited but we were able to find a spot closeby. The sidewalk smelled like pee. We made sure to sit as far away from the sidewalk. I was really hoping to try the horchata latte but they were all out of horchata. I tried the salted caramel latte and for food I tried the hot mess. They were both OK. My bf had the toasted coconut and it was good, he ordered bbq chicken flatbread and the chicken was dry. Service was friendly.
After a long two years getting excited for this place to open I was surprised how big, open and beautiful it is! It’s got a great atmosphere, vibe and beautiful decor that goes well with their comfortable seating. The servers are incredibly kind, the coffee isn’t very good and the food is what it should be quality wise for the price it is. It’s a great space if you need an office from home for a day! If you need a quick bite it’s great, not if you’re wanting a good coffee.
It’s well decorated and comfortable inside, the service was very welcoming, but the coffee was definitely not what I expected for a place with a large neon sign that says “a coffee philosophy” the espresso shots they were pulling tasted VERY bitter and burnt. Definitely not the place to be for a specialty coffee drinker who really enjoys tasting the notes and flavors of a good roast. More people seemed to enjoy the flavored and creamy drinks that mask the actual taste of the coffee. I would say it’s over-priced but that seems to be the trend at every café like this in San Diego. Overall a great looking space with some improvements needed from the baristas.
The drinks (dirty pumpkin chai and jasmine green tea) and breakfast burrito were very good. Unfortunately, my breakfast was ruined by the very cheap bag they provided for the to go order. It apparently couldn't handle the weight of two entrees and completely split from the middle after carrying it for two blocks. I'd go back for dining in, but would recommend against takeout if walking home with your order.
Food: Very average and nothing special. Bread tasted like store bought although their pickled onions were tasty. However, there wasn’t anything special to it, like a sauce that would differentiate it from others. Service: Friendly and kind staff. Atmosphere: Both indoor and outdoor seating, which is nice. Indoor was a bit quiet.

This is a snappy, cool place but sadly, they've decided to serve everything with disposable containers! In today's world, paper is better than plastic, but serving food to sit down customers on paper plates and with plastic cutlery! Don't we generate enough trash? It's enough to make me not return!
Place wasn’t busy. Ordered a bagel sandwich… watched the chef put my bagel on the counter for pick up… Then waited 20+min for the barista to hand it to me, even though she knew it was ready and I was waiting. Won’t be back
