What a hidden gem!! Currently my favorite Thai food in SD. As soon as you walk in you feel like you entered an authentic Thai restaurant in Thailand. Food is so delicious, I've been going twice a week. My favorite dish is papaya salad and basil beef dish. Everything is so good and staff is amazing. Highly recommend.

Creative menu with interesting choices like Tom Yum French fries. The food was fresh and delicious. There are so many more things I want to try!

Delicious!!! The pictures you see are exactly how the food looks when it gets to you. They even have Vegan options as substitutes!!! The Thai tea was great with coconut milk for a dairy free option. The place was really cute and really felt as if you were in Thailand. The Ka Na was AMAZING! And the wings as appetizers were so good!!

Wonderful food, simple atmosphere. We had four dishes; each was superb. The crab fried rice was flavorful and delicate, the beef savory and bold. The appetizers were tasty. We'd come here again in a heartbeat!

Fantastic food - great variety, depth of flavor, and even good vegan options. Service as great - server was prompt and friendly despite it being pretty busy. And, the atmosphere and decor make for a really unique experience. Get the Tom Yum wings!!!

What a great street food-style Thai restaurant located in North Park! Be prepared to circle around for paid street parking. Environment/Service: My friend and I went at 1pm on a Thursday and we were seated right away and opted for an outdoor table where they have a few 2 person tables. Inside, there are 2-4 person tables. Doesn't seem the place to be for larger groups. Our server was very attentive, constantly filled up our waters, and food came pretty fast! Food: -Spicy Fish Cake ($10.95): 5 pieces of round fish cakes, served with sweet chili sauce. Wasn't too spicy and was a little chewy. I'd probably skip this next time. -Tom Yum Wings ($10.95): 6 pieces half drums/half flats. The crunch was perfect and the flavor was super good! I'd order this again. -Drunken Mama ($18.95): not your regular Thai drunken noodles. It has thin noodles, more saucy, and had great flavoring! Served with a good amount of shrimp, mussels, and scallops. -Basil Beef ($15.95): 4/5 spice. I love spicy food and this had a little bit of a kick to it! Served with rice and fried egg on top. I realllyyy enjoyed this dish! -Thai Tea: free with check in Overall: There were so many options that it was hard to choose between the two of us! The servings were not as big as you'd expect for the prices but we still ended up full and had enough to take home for left overs. I'd love to come back to try out other items on the menu.

What a fabulous late afternoon lunch/early dinner! Just fantastic. Came into San Diego for the afternoon to check out 30th street. Decided to grab a bite to eat. Turned out fabulous! Loooved our dishes and the funky atmosphere! Would defiantly eat here again. I never had Thai Iced tea (got mine with coconut milk) as its kinda like thai coffee but cold, yum! Had the Tofu drunken noodles (#3spice and rice noodles, the cucumber salad (!!!), tom yum chicken wings and crispy pork belly rice dish!

Traditional thai place with some non standard dishes. (fried silkworm!) Had the Basil beef /w rice and the drunken mama (seafood noodles) and I thought both were quite good. One downside is that even at max spiciness the food isn't that spicy, so request fresh chilis on the side if you want to add spice. The decor is filled with Thai language texts and decorations and the general atmosphere is pretty relaxed, as befitting a north park restaurant.

This is a gem I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE SHRIMP PAD THAI (it’s gluten free)✨ it was amazing, the shrimps were big and well seasoned and cooked, we also got the basil beef, it was a 8/10 a little smaller than the pad Thai but also yummy. The athmosphere makes you feel like in another country 👌 good for a nice late lunch with friends. Also the appetiser “Son in law wings” was fantastic, the sauce was 10/10 I kept a little for the plate.

This place can be a hit or miss. I visited for the first time here, Tom Yum wings 10/10, they are bomb.. absolutely fantastic Fried Calamari, 8/10 huge quantity loved it, they should enhance the flavor of the sauce they serve. Now comes the soup and main course I have been a big fan of Tom Kha soup and Khou soi Tom Kha had a strong by strong I mean very strong lemon grass to it. Super tangy 8/10 The Khou soi was too strong in flavour, high turmeric, strong curry paste. Could have been a little mild. 6/10 Overall the place is good

Kin Len is a fantastic Thai restaurant in San Diego. We tried their papaya salad, wings, pad Thai, and ground beef dish, and we thoroughly enjoyed every bite. It almost felt like we were transported to Thailand. The service was exceptionally friendly and kind.

This place is phenomenal. Everything I’ve had here has been very very tasty. Beautiful presentation as well! I’ve tried and recommend the basil beef plate, chicken satay, papaya salad, hat yay chicken and curry, pork belly plate! Service is also really good, your water glass will not get empty. It’s affordable and has really great ambiance, and it’s the best Thai place in North Park imo.

So good! Some real authentic Thai food at its best! I was in town visiting family and was looking for authentic Som Tum and after one failed attempt at Thai Village in PB (I don’t recommend at all!) I decided to give Kin Len a shot and boy I was not disappointed! Their Som Tum was so good and completely authentic and comparable to what my neighbor used to make for me (she’s Thai). Reasonably priced and super generous portions! Will definitely be going back the next time I’m in San Diego!

I order takeout from here quite often. I am obsesseddd with the crispy Tom Yum wings. Amazing flavor and they're still crispy even by the time I get home! My favorite is the basil beef though. It hits everyyy single time. I love it so much that I can't seem to order anything else off the menu. The portion size is reasonable, and the fried egg is always perfectly cooked. Don't sleep on this place.

I found this restaurant delicious, with good, patient service as my friend and I had a hard time choosing our food since we wanted to try so many dishes. A chicken curry dish we had was fantastic. They are open late so you can get something good and relax with a late dinner after seeing a live music show at The Observatory.

This place was such a great find during our visit. The decor was so nostalgic, it reminded me of when I went to Chiang Mai and some of the smaller restaurants I'd come across. The food was fantastic. We had the beef noodle soup and the hat yai chicken. Both were delicious. The soup had deep flavor and the curry with the chicken was really flavorful. I wish we had something like this back in Seattle! The service was great, the servers were kind, considerate, and attentive.

Was in the neighborhood and crossed by this place and was already craving some Thai. The service was so quick and my server Kevin recommended the best appetizers and plates and was so kind made me feel at home! Their crab rangoons and chicken satay was some of the best I’ve had

We got the crispy tofu and Hat Yai Chicken & Curry! Hat Yai is so yummy! We really appreciate the crispness of the chicken and how it’s fried throughly and how the seasoning is absorbed very well.

Good Thai food, but quite a bit different from what I’ve had at other Thai restaurants. My go-to order is Pad See Ew and it was topped with cilantro which was unusual. I didn’t mind the cilantro flavor, but others may not like it. They used broccolini of broccoli and there weren’t any carrots. This restaurant seems to serve more authentic Thai food than your average Thai restaurant. We also ordered the Enoki mushrooms and chicken wings from the appetizer menu and both had really nice flavor. I ordered the Lychee beer and loved the super sweet taste, but those who love regular beer may not enjoy its overpowering fruity flavor. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere with cool posters on the wall and open-air seating. We arrived at 7pm on a Tuesday without a reservation and were seated immediately. Street parking in North Park can be tricky, but we found a paid-parking lot about a block away from the restaurant for $8 an hour. Not the best Thai food I’ve ever had, but it was a nice experience and the area is very fun to walk around.

Kin Len - Thai Street Eats was a definite treat during my recent visit to San Diego! The "Son-In-Law" chicken wings were crispy and drizzled with a delicious sweet and tangy sauce. The pork belly appetizer was lightly fried and tasted like a chicarrone. It was served with a spicy green sauce. The "Hot Mama" noodles were dressed in a flavorful sauce and tossed with shrimp, scallops, and mussels.

4.2/5 Another great Thai spot in North Park. This place had casual seating with a nice little outdoor patio. The menu had a great variety of options with some non-traditional items that were delicious. We ordered the Tom Yum Fries, Calamari, Son-in-Law Wings, Thai Papaya Salad, Crab Fried Rice, and Pad Thai. The fries were super flavorful, and were fresh and crispy. Highly recommend. The wings were good, but didn’t have as much meat as I usually like. Papaya salad had great flavor, but the cabbage was a bit hard to cut to eat (not a big deal). We were a little disappointed with the crab fried rice as it lacked a lot of flavor and the crab was minimal. Pad thai was pretty good, but I’ll definitely be ordering more things to try next time I come.

The food is decent, and I would recommend coming here if you're in North Park and looking for a decent Thai place, but you must know the food is very salty. That is the sole reason I gave four stars. Aside from the moderately high but "reasonable for North Park" prices, the service provided by the waitress was very good and the food came out relatively quickly. I can't speak for how busy the restaurant normally is but parking was tremendously hard to find, which is typical for this area.

Street parking is very limited and hard to find in this area. The restaurant was also quite noisy during our visit. Unfortunately, we didn’t enjoy most of the dishes. The curry noodles, which were promoted as a signature item, had too much curry powder and left a bitter aftertaste. The fried noodles also became soggy very quickly. Overall, it didn’t meet our expectations.

First time customer, ordered because of restaurant ratings; placed a To Go order: Good size servings BUT … Khao Soi with chicken - chicken was not fully cooked … pink Pad Thai was soggy, looked nothing like the pictures. Tom Yum good flavor but pork looked very pink; to be safe we nuked it. Stew beef was passing Will not go back
