Reallgood Ramen, clean tables, and friendly staff. Their black garlic ramen and Takoyaki was really good. the place doesn't ask you to input tip.they simply do a 15% service charge which takes the whole awkwardness of having to tip a little bit more or less out of the equation. will be back
The best ramen I’ve had in San Diego. Creamy noodles and thick flavourful broth
Great ramen! Totally recommend ❤️ Service was very quick and nice I wish they had cute interior I would come here all the times
Nishiki Ramen as the name implies, serves a Ramen based menu with some children options as well. The food is great and I personally have not had a bad experience with their food. Granted this location is quite busy so if your in a hurry it's best to order ahead or find a different location. The service is great but the atmosphere is just standard as any other dinning location. Nothing stands out or makes a grand difference. Overall I would come back time and time again. TLDR: Great for Ramen and for the family. The location is busy, so food may take a while and it's easy to find parking.
I recently visited Nishiki Ramen, The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for a casual meal. The menu offered a variety of ramen options, from classic tonkotsu to spicy miso. I opted for the chicken ramen, which was flavorful and rich, with tender chicken pieces and perfectly cooked noodles. The broth was the highlight, with a deep, savory taste.
The best Ramen I have ever had. I don’t eat Ramen very often, and I think it might be because I haven’t found a spot that is good. Now that I know how good Ramen is supposed to taste. I crave it now. Specifically from this restaurant. The broth was tasty and delicious. I had wheat noodles. They were delicious too. I ordered the spicy chicken and told them lightly salted. Because the waitress let me know ahead of time that it might be too salty; and if I actually liked salt. Thanks for the heads up to that waitress. I had the best Ramen in my life!
My husband and I have had hit-or-miss experiences with ramen before, but this one was a definite hit! The Vegan Tofu Spicy Ramen was absolutely delicious—the broth had the perfect depth of flavor with just the right amount of spice, the tofu was well-marinated, and the noodles were cooked to perfection. We also tried the edamame, which was fresh and seasoned just right. A truly satisfying meal—we’ll definitely be coming back for more!
Nishiki Ramen 🍜 I tried the Garlic Tonkotsu, and it was incredible. The broth was rich and flavorful, with just the right amount of garlic to add depth without overpowering the dish. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and every bite was a burst of umami goodness. It’s hands down one of the best ramen bowls I’ve ever had. If you're a ramen lover, Nishiki Ramen is a must-visit—especially for that Garlic Tonkotsu! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The ramen at this place is fantastic. Might be the best I've had in the U.S. Try the GGG., you won't regret it.

Service was quick, very friendly staff, and the food was very good. The only thing I didn't appreciate was the automatic 15% service fee (tip) added to the tab. Tips, while expected by servers in the U.S. should still be in control of the consumer, not an automatic add-on. Having just returned from Japan, where tips are actually offensive, servers there pride themselves in their attention to patrons and welcome a sincere thank you over a tip. Perhaps there is something more to this that should be addressed in the U.S.?
First time eating at this Ramen place, and I gotta say, the food was Delicious!! The ramen had tons of flavor and they were perfectly made, they were not over crowded with toppings. Even the kids menu was awesome, it comes with ramen, chicken tenders, fries, and a creamy drink. The only downside was the cleanliness of the restaurant near the bathroom section. While waiting in line to use the restroom, that whole section is filthy, the walls are extremely dirty, like if they have not been cleaned in years, including the floor.
The restaurant has a decent number of tables. Parking is alright during weekdays. The ramen noodles in general are good (broth, noodles) but very little pork meat. Food portion is good. My only complaint is we waited too long (30 min from the time we ordered) for 4 bowls of ramen noodles and also the automatic 15% gratuity on top of each bill.
Very good food indeed I must say. Service very good indeed I must say. ambience very good indeed
Best Ramen in town but overpriced. I can go to AYCE Korean BBQ for this price! Very good ring of chriasu though
Not the best workers, waited longer to be served because the seating staff continued talking to one another while staring at us.

Great service! Kind workers! The only thing that needs work is the timing in which the employees approach! Every time I am eating I'm always with a mouth full of food and that's the only time I get…
Japanese review: Bad food, presentation, and service. (mandatory 15% tip) Went in at little after noon on Tuesday. Ordered 2 bowls of ramen. It took about 40 minutes to get our food. It was not pack or busy by any means. The waiter took our order to the table next to us who came in about 20 minutes after us and realized it want theirs so brought it to us without any apologies. Couldn't even pronounce their own menu item, Gyokai Ramen, correctly. Gyokai soup was okay. The noodle was described as "thick" but medium thickness at best and was overcooked. Nishiki was even worse. The noodle was way overcooked, and disproportionate to the amount of the soup. The soup lacked body and umami from the broth and unnecessary corn got in the way of ramen enjoyment. The place would not last a month in Japan. I would not come back here again. Go to Ultra. The fact that their "specials" aren't ramen tells you.
Oily to the point of disgusting. I cannot believe this place has such high ratings. I order the number 1 item on the menu and they basically just gave me a bowl of oil with some soup. See picture. Not to mention it took 20 minutes for the food to get here when restaurant wasn’t even full. No efficiency, automatic tip, and the worst bowl of ramen ever. I’m speechless
Ordered to go. Came home and was missing the extra items I paid for. Egg, pork, etc. When I called, they don’t even answer the phone. Upsetting. The food is good. But they aren’t very organized. An extra $15 wasted.
Worst Ramen Experience I’ve Ever Had We came here because of the many reviews, but everything was disappointing. We were denied a booth for being a party of two, yet other two-person groups were seated in booths before and after us. The food was even worse. Out of three appetizers and their “No.1 ramen” the only decent item was the French fries. The broth wasn’t hot, had no depth, and tasted cheaper than instant ramen. They also add a mandatory 15% service charge, even though the service was basic with no refills. Paying $77.08 for this meal was unacceptable. This was honestly the worst ramen I’ve ever had.
I went there last night, and the experience was honestly disappointing. I asked for a booth, and the staff told me they were saving it for a larger group. Fine — I understood. But then another group came in after me, and they were given that exact booth. So what was the point of turning me down? On top of that, my boyfriend’s ramen broth wasn’t even hot. And the 15% service fee? I work in the service industry, so I’m okay with it. What I’m not okay with is getting poor service and still being forced to pay it. If you’re taking 15%, the least you can do is treat customers properly. With over 2,000 reviews, I expected much better. This was my first time at Nishiki Ramen, and it will likely be my last at this location. I hope other branches take service more seriously.
