05/2024 Ordered the Uji Green Milk Tea on my second visit. The location sold out of the Matcha Cortado. While it might not match the Matcha Cortado for popularity, this is still a decent second choice if you want that matcha flavor. The jasmine tea is stronger here so you can taste more of the jasmine tea flavor than the matcha flavor. 04/2024 Ordered the Matcha Cortado with 80% sugar. This layered matcha milk tea uses their gyokuro green tea, matcha powder and sweetened house milk. It is very refreshing for an afternoon drink to unwind. The matcha powder is quite plentiful, so much that there's a little bit of an aftertaste of powder, but it's not offensive and tastes nice. This location is very busy in the afternoon and there is a line out the door. The interior of this location is very modern and aesthetically pleasing for photographs, no seating areas. The parking area is part of a large plaza with a Ralphs nearby so it can be a challenge but space is available.

If you're on the hunt for a top-notch boba shop in San Diego, OMOMO is the place to go. My husband and I stopped by OMOMO after a delightful day in Del Mar since I was in the mood for something sweet and refreshing. OMOMO had been on my must-try list for a while, so it was the perfect choice. The shop itself is cute and modern, with a friendly staff that made us feel welcome. We ordered the OMOMO Matcha, a signature blended matcha frappe paired with a caramel brûlée cup and added cheese foam, along with the Taro Paste fresh milk. Both drinks were delicious, though we felt the Taro Paste could have had a stronger taro flavor. Overall, it took about 15-20 minutes to get our drinks on a busy afternoon. We're looking forward to visiting OMOMO again to try more of their menu

I love this place for consistently amazing drinks! Omomo Matcha 50% sweet: 5/5 Oreo Green Tea 30% sweet: 5/5 Thai Tea Brulee: 3/5 not a fan of this one, but that’s just my personal taste. The drinks are really good, but keep in mind it gets super busy on weekends.

Cute tea shop in Del Mar strip mall. It was busy when I arrived (good sign). I got a black jade milk tea omomo style with tiramisu foam and brown sugar boba. It was $8 and delicious. There's no place to sit inside or out but I found tables just down the sidewalk.

The best boba shop! Fast service, great atmosphere and delicious teas. So much flavors to choose from! I ordered Jasmine milk tea with tiramisu foam, boba, and less ice. Absolutely delicious. I highly recommend and will be coming back. Great prices too😊

I love OMOMO and so do a lot of other people in SD. The only downside is the wait times during peak hours. The line goes out the door, but if you’re willing to wait around 15-20 min (maybe even longer), then OMOMO is a great place for boba and milk tea. Any time they come out with drinks with the mochi or paste I love them, because it’s like a topping I can’t find anywhere else. I highly recommend their recently added drink called Wicked, which has ube paste in a matcha latte/milk tea. I got mine with cheese foam, and it was delicious!

Love it. Awesome chewy boba, and even better creamy matcha. Rather on the sweet side than on the matcha-ey side, but still good considering it’s boba instead of a traditional matcha beverage.

This boba place is one of my fav shops in all SD! I just need an excuse to go here even if it’s in Del Mar! I love all the blended and seasonal drinks here! The matcha is superb!!

We visited on Wednesday afternoon and only waited a few minutes in line. Since it’s the seasonal special, we all went for peach drinks—I got the Itchy Peachy, and my friends had the Peach Oolong. The color was so pretty, a soft pink, and the taste did not disappoint! It was light and refreshing, with just the right amount of peach flavor. I went for 30% sugar, and it was perfect. The drink wasn’t too heavy, which I loved, and you could really taste the real peach chunks. The only downside was the staff—they seemed a bit rushed when I had questions as a first-time customer, but overall, a great experience! Definitely worth a try, especially on a hot day!

The best matcha I’ve ever had is right here! Omomo Matcha is out of this world—no matter how many times I go, I always order it! Their signature drink is truly the best. Back when they were only in Irvine, I’d always bring three cups back to SD to enjoy slowly. Now that they’ve opened a shop right by my place, I can go on weekdays when the line is shorter. Too bad online ordering isn’t available yet, so you usually have to wait in line. Sweetness level at 30%-50% is perfect! Fellow matcha lovers, don’t miss this!

Lots of great selections. Fresh fruit teas taste good. We ordered grape fruit smash, cocoa latte and black jade milk tea. Black and White bobas. We had about over 20 people in front of us but lines moving fast. Great service too! Highly recommend 😊

My favorite boba place in SD. The cocoa latte with tiramisu foam is a must! I get it with half sugar and half ice. However, be aware that this place gets CRAZY BUSY. When I came on a Saturday afternoon, I had to wait about 35-45 minutes in line, and then another 10–15 minutes after ordering. If you want to avoid lines, go during less busy hours like a weekday before 4pm rather than evening or weekends.

But I have tried almost everything and I like it all! My favorites are the uji green milk tea, coco latte, camo thai, and strawberry tornado! I reccommend trying to add foam or oreo to ur drink to make it even better. So glad this place is also in SD.

This place is the best I’ve tried in North County. It’s very fresh and well-made. The vibe of the place is cool too although there is no seating. There are many drinks I’ve never heard of that are unique to the shop, so I’d recommend doing your research before going.

I’m extremely disappointed with what’s happening at OMOMO in Del Mar. My family and friends have supported this location for a long time, and many people across San Diego continue to support your business. Today, I was shocked to be told that I would have to pay $1 for a bag to hold the drinks I purchased from your store. I had already spent $25 on three drinks, and being asked to pay extra just to carry my own drinks was frustrating and unreasonable. I was also told that I would only receive a bag for free if I ordered five or six drinks. This was never a problem before. If I had only ordered one drink, I would understand. But I purchased three drinks, and it is completely reasonable to expect a secure way to carry them. Especially considering the box provided does not properly hold the drinks in place, it feels unfair to charge customers extra for basic packaging. This experience was disappointing and does not reflect the level of service loyal customers expect.
