Overall great experience, the line to the priority pass lounge was insane. Went here instead for a bite and drink and got it covered, thanks to the sapphire reserve (priority pass). Ample space, plus outlets makes it a great spot to hang before your flight if you can’t get into the lounge.
Came here while I was waiting for my flight! This restaurant is located in very convenient location! I had a cup of orange juice and impossible burger! The order came within 10 mins! Fast and quick service! I like the vibe of this place as well! Will be back again when I happen to come to this airport in the future! Cheers
I had a surprisingly enjoyable meal here during a layover. Ordered the steak with sweet potato, and while the steak wasn’t huge, it was flavorful, cooked medium as requested, and just right for a satisfying solo meal. The real standout was the mango beer—lightly sweet, super refreshing. Service was a bit slow at first—it took a while before anyone noticed us, and it seemed like they were understaffed. But once things got moving, the staff was polite and the food came out in a reasonable time. Overall, the combination of good flavors and a calm airport atmosphere made it worth the stop. I'd definitely come back, especially for that mango beer!
Made a quick stop in SAN PGA TOUR GRILL. My quasadilla was tasty. Very friendly and helpful waitress.
We chose this place because at 10am it was one of the only locations not overrun and happily found out it was pretty amazing. The decor was dark mahogany and mostly green walls giving it a very relaxed feel. I ordered the club sandwich and fries which came out very fast and very hot, the bacon was very very smokey which isn't to my taste, but the service and the rest of the food were truly impeccable (the sourdough looked and tasted homemade). I would absolutely go back there to eat again.
Stopped by on my way home, while waiting for my flight. Very well laid out, and open. Televisions are mounted everywhere, all with different sport channels. Menu is plain and simple, though the food is perfectly prepared. I ordered the “Steak & Eggs”, medium rare, with a Beam and Coke. Definitely worth stopping in, when passing through San Diego.
I really enjoyed the food here, and it was fairly priced for airport food. $23.99 for steak frites. The best part was asking for the steak rare and getting a rare steak (woooo! Super win, they are always overcooked). The garlic parm fries were a little weird. Not bad, but the crumbly topping didn't stick well to the fries, it did however make a great dipping substance for the steak? Overall. Much better than the garbage fast food options you can get and about the same price when all is said and done. It took about 30 minutes from sitting down (then ordering a drink, then ordering food, eating, and paying) to walking out on my way to my flight.
Excellent place to stop and eat if you have some time in the airport. We got the fish and chips and the omelette and they were both delicious. The servers were very nice and the food comes out relatively quickly. Some would say this is the Tiger Woods of airport restaurants.

Super fast service and came out exactly as ordered. I would go here again

This restaurant accepts Priority Pass from the Chase Sapphire Reserve card. If you don't have a PP that will cover your meal, I would skip it. I got the salmon entrée to-go and it was pretty good. However service in the evening was very slow. Only one bartender and as far as I could tell two waitresses. Entry to exit for me took the better part of 30 minutes, so make sure you leave time. I flew through SAN again the following day and skipped this restaurant altogether.
Prompt service and the food was not bad at all. I had the breakfast burrito as I had a layover for a few hours and it was breakfast time! Not too bad at all, and not too pricey for an airport location. A little pricey but not too bad!
They do accept priority pass (issued by Chase only) - $26 for the first traveler + 1 guest $26 value. You cannot tip with priority pass value. We ordered wings and a steak; wings were a but dry, but still pretty good. Steak looked bad when it first came out but taste-wise it was better than it looked. Servers were very friendly unlike some past reviews. I guess it depends on who you get. Highly recommend!
Located in terminal 2 after security. Used my private pass lounge perk but anyone can eat here. Not busy during my visit. Good service. We had the salmon and burger entrees, both were good. Full bar with TVs. Booths, low chair and high chair tables available.
I picked up a salad here before my flight and it was actually quite surprisingly good. The server was super sweet and since I had the priority pass he suggested how I could add some more items on to make use of that entire $208 amount. I got the Greek Salad with Chicken - romaine lettuce, pickled onions, olives, roasted red peppers and feta. It came with a Greek Dressing which was not too bad. Nothing special, just so so. Generous serving of chicken there and it was cooked right. Not dry or rubbery or anything. I was actually very surprised by the amount of lettuce in there! They actually filled up that entire to go box with letters before adding the toppings on. Feta was really lovely on top as well. Only thing that didn't go well was the olives. I found them too strong in flavor and salty so I just took them all off. // Update 1 month later (Oct 2022) Got a Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad to go on my next trip, and definitely loved the portion size of the Romaine again. The Togo box was full! Chicken was also soft and perfectly cooked. Not too thick or thin a filet. Just right. I also really loved the dressing!! It was so good even to taste by itself! The Hummus and Grilled Pita was amazing too! For real! Such smooth hummus, soft pita bread, perfectly grilled and just amazing. I really liked them both by themselves too! So good! Very very ginormous serving of hummus too, and the pita felt less in comparison, haha. Only downside is that they just plopped all the hummus into the box, and put the pita right near it. So some of the pita fell on the hummus and got all soggy.
While waiting for the flight I was looking for some vegetarian food, I had pizza and french fries. The food was decent. Waitress was really nice in helping me choose vegetarian do dishes. Restaurant had a very good ambience with plenty of space. Service was nice. A good collection of spirit and beer were also available. Overall had a nice experience waiting for flight with some decent food options.

Good food but a little pricey. Had the "power chicken" healthy salad, which tasted pretty good. The salad +chicken and a soft drink came out to $25 even - ouch. It took me a bit to figure out how to get service at first - you have to push the button on this little doohickey on the table (and I think it zaps the waitress on the wrist, seriously). I really liked the call button approach, I hope other places pick up on the idea (keeps you from looking like a dork trying to flag down a waitress). Anyhow, service was good and food came out fast, which is important in the airport. Overall s'okay.
So the main reason for such a low rating was every table was dirty and sticky the food is basically bar food sold at the airport so expensive. Drinks were fine but the dirty table thing really bugged me it wasn't that busy and if the staff don't clean the tables what else don't they clean? That's always in the back of my mind sorry
Nice place to kill some time before a flight. Food isn’t anything amazing. I had dry rub chicken wings and my wife had the chicken sandwich. Both satisfactory, together with two sodas came to $60. Server forgot our drinks so we had to ask multiple times, had nearly finished our food by the time they came. Atmosphere and bar seating very good - nice sports bar. Overall, not bad for an airport but don’t expect a hole in one! ⛳️
I’ve eaten here multiple times on priority pass. The service is hit or miss and the food quality is mediocre. The latest interesting experience was the hot bacon flat bread. The description included arugula, but it came with spinach. The staff didn’t communicate the substitution. If they had, I would have ordered something else. Another peculiarity is that it costs $6.49 to substitute fries for sweet potato fries or a salad. Well, a side of sweet potato fries costs $6.49. If you’re looking to carb load or just want the extra food, you might as well order your sandwich with fries and then order the sweet potato fries as a side. It will cost the same.
Stopped in between flights. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food was a little pricey, they ran out of Modelo, and we had to ask multiple times to get items we ordered.. The burger was bland with no condiments or seasoning but the quesadillas and chicken sandwich were good.
Shame on management for understaffing! So SLOW! Two servers ONLY. Stip milking the system GM! My server just a GRUMP currently posting this. Jan 9 waiting for flight.

We dined in while waiting for our flight to New York. It is extremely understaffed. I saw two ladies running around trying to do everything. You are supposed to order via QR code on the table but it didn’t t work for us and a few more tables I see around. People waited and waited but there was no one around to help. Then, they left without ordering. Management; please hire some staff. You’re not saving, you’re losing money.
Lousy service, extremely slow service. Had to ask for napkins and silverware. Waitress was short and not very friendly. Food was very sub par. I had the BTLA. It most mostly all bread, the arugula and tomatoes were old. Do yourself a favor and eat at Stone brewing instead.
Misleading to ask to choose the temperature of burger when it comes out in <3 minutes aka precooked, well done, and from frozen patties too. I understand it’s an airport and faster the better. But take off the temperature question online.

Shady business. Ordered a drink off the menu (Caddy Classic) which was supposed to have a decent tequila (Maestro Dobel). Instead, got charged for a drink with a double-shot of Cuervo. Asked the server and he doubled down that it was the correct recipe despite what the menu says. Not happy with surprise $19 drinks I didn’t order.
There was a large piece of nose hair stuck to my egg. I returned it. The waiter took it back without saying a single word. Not one word of apology or offer to make a new plate. This has to be the most dysfunctional establishment in all of San Diego. I sincerely hope they lose their license. With a horrendous ~2 average review score, why does SAN airport put up with this??? Cancel their lease!!! Cancel PG Tour Grill!!!
They had to have literally gone out of their way to design a breakfast that bad. Hired food scientists to figure out how to minimize any deliciousness inherent in the ingredients. A master feat of mediocrity, congratulations.
Costco burger patty cooked beyond comprehension for $25. It’s the airport so I have low expectations but this burger cratered them.
Awful service. We waited over 15 minutes and no one took our order. A server came by just to say someone else would help us—then walked away instead of doing it herself. Total lack of accountability. The place was nearly empty, and now we know why. Meanwhile, Stone Brewery across the hall was packed—and for good reason. We walked over and had food served within minutes of ordering. Don’t waste your time at PGA Bar. The system’s broken, the staff don’t care, and the food didn’t even look good while we were waiting. Just go somewhere that actually wants your business.
At dinner time, I walked to this place for 10 mins from my gate to get some to-go togo food for my family. I ordered a Margherita flat bread. At that time, the restaurant was less than 20% occupied. Yet, they took their own sweet time to prepare my order. After being shoved a "receipt" at my face for gratuity, I ended up paying 20% reluctantly. The icing on the cake was, I found a pepperoni pizza inside my box instead of Margherita. Imagine a hungry, vegetarian family member getting disappointed by that. Avoid this place at any cost. And for real, stop asking tips on people's faces for WRONG takeout orders.
Honestly. Forgot my waitress name Mexican lady heavy accent. Just stopped by for fries and a water. Total was like 6.02. I just left 7 dollars cash because for a lady who spilled coffee on me and only gave me a water nothing crazy seem like it should happen. Now usually when you pay cash the waitress comes when you leave to grab the tab. She did it while my friend and I were still sitting. Counted the cash right there in front of us. And got mad because she got 98 cent tip on a 6 dollar French fry order. She insisted we take our change and we Just we didn’t want it and she slammed coins on our table and walked away.
Don’t do it!!!!!! Horrible Service! Rude waitress is the last thing you want to deal with after o long flight. Plenty of other options in the surrounding area!
I didn't even get a chance to eat here, when the waitress came ask me what i would like i asked if she could wipe the table down since it was filthy. She immediatley walked away without saying a word and started to take someone elses order.
Don’t eat here! I wasn’t very hungry so I ordered 2 breakfast sides and an iced tea. Each item cost $4.59. She brought a full breakfast out and I only ate the 2 items that I ordered. She charged me $28 for 2 eggs, a slice of toast, and tea. I explained to her that I didn’t order it and I had a witness who agreed. She refused to correct it.
How is this place able to stay in business? You seat yourself at a dirty table. Food arrives cold after an extended wait. Over priced alcoholic beverages with no alcohol. The same tables that were dirty when we arrived were still dirty when we left. And to top it off, the pay yourself app defaults to a 22% tip - for what?
I am truly sorry I didn’t read the reviews before dragging my family into this awful experience. I expected a lot more out of a PGA branded location. We got a table, the QR code didn’t work. After 10-15 minutes trying to get it to work we asked one of the ladies bringing food out to help. They said our table was locked and they would unlock it right away. 5-10 minutes later it was unlocked. We ordered some really really over priced food. When it finally came out it could barely be classified as food. Chicken breast on the “nachos” over cooked and dry. Chicken tenders…..over cooked there was no tender! Baja fish tacos over cooked. The taco portion of these was burnt. As anyone in an airport would understand we didn’t have piles of time to mess around and ask for our money back then try to get a table at another location that would have been busy. So we crammed this awful “food” in and had to fly. Should have taken the wife to a really nice restaurant once back home. One of the highest bill for food out on our trip. And by far the very worst food. Would NOT recommend. Go anywhere else! I will say the two ladies running around were decent when dealing with but also still not great.
When your at the airport, and a restaurant is empty, there’s probably a reason why. I ordered the steak and eggs … the steak was simply 4 small strips of meat. The waitress asked how I wanted it cooked and I said medium rare. What they brought me was overly well done on the verge of being burnt. The waitress was extremely hard to understand what she was saying, but o finally pieced together that they were out of breakfast potatoes, so now my breakfast would come with French fries The French fries were hard, stale and rubbery. The eggs and the toast were good. To wash it down, they brought me a nice glass of warm water without ice
I entered without looking at the feedback. I thought it might be good since it was at the airport. However, I was disappointed. The waitress completely ignored me when I sat down. I tried to order via the scan code on the table, but the system was not working well. The same waitress came and told me that I should order via the scan code. The waitress completely ignored me. The other waitresses didn't seem like that. I didn't say anything, I tried to give an order. Burger was below average. The service was a huge fiasco. I definitely do not recommend you to go. There are good ones in the same terminal, just don't go there.

I’ve had repeated bad experiences here. The staff is always rude, never smiles, and makes you feel unwelcome. I use Priority Pass, but I’m not sure if that’s why they treat me poorly or if that’s just how they are. On my last visit, I ordered a sandwich to go and the waitress literally threw the bag into my hands. Very unprofessional and disrespectful. Welcome or thank you doesn’t exist on their vocabulary. This is always my last resort when I’m at SAN because the service is consistently terrible. Really disappointing.
Zero service. We sat down and didn't see a waiter for awhile so ordered via QR code. Waitress dropping off our order couldnt open the prosecco so just left it and we had to go to to the bar to have the bartender open it. After that, zero check ins. No napkins, no water, nothing. And we saw all the tables around us getting service. The waitress only checked in when she saw us paying our bill via the QR code.... obviously looking for a tip.
