I've been going to this place for years. I wish more places stayed as consistent and as this place has. EVERY TIME I GO HERE THE FOOD IS AAAAAAMAZING!!!! Most places change over the years, lesser ingredients, lesser quality, BUT NOT THIS PLACE. They have a very welcoming environment, a family vibe, and just keep it simple with great food. I strongly recommend this place if you're looking for the best sandwich you've ever had. Plus the family that runs it is actually authentic Italian.

I moved to Tierrasanta about a year ago and have heard amazing things about this shop. I finally made it in today and WOW have I been missing out!! This is one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had! I ordered #30 with Dena’s recommendation of toasted with garlic and “Italian style”. This sandwich was delicious and full of flavor. It was a good size too. Dena was also so sweet and welcoming. I will definitely be back!

Great sandwich options and extremely kind, attentive and quick service. This place is a real gem, order at the counter and dine in or take out. The bread is phenomenal and the people working there are even more lovely.

Great place for a sandwich, better and cheaper than jersey mikes. Place is also LGBT friendly. I've been coming here for a while and the employees gender me properly as a transgender woman. Reccomend getting #9 with white bread toasted with garlic

Fantastic local family owned sun shop, they're always helpful and the food is delicious. I've eaten there dozens of times myself, and have gone to them several times for catered client lunches with stellar feedback. Always willing to go out of their way to create a great sandwich and experience. Highly recommend.

Bomb.... all I can say.... truly. ❤️ I've made it a ritual detour when I'm in the city even out of way. Hearty subs, not picture a nice sub and end up with scraps. The sub is heavy! 😊😊 Been here once a month ago and have returned multiple times. Hooked. Best subs in San Diego area. Ty Submarina!

Had the Barbara special #9 today - so good! They have delicious sandwiches, mac, potato salad and chocolate chip cookies. If you haven't been, try them out! Great service too - family owned since 1979.

This is a really great deli place. The 9 inch sandwich can feed 2 ppl. I ordered the tuna on wheat with the works. The food is all fresh. The customer service is great. The sandwich looked so simple to make but I feel the owner has a great choice of bread and meat. The house dressing is a must as well. We will come again when we have our dr appts and go afterwards for lunch.

Wow I should of gone to the SUBWAY.. Ordered tuna sub 9in yet came out to be a 4 inch do to all bread and no tuna. Never again..

First off the positive reviews for this place seem fake. This is not a franchise location and does not have everything they do. They DO NO WEAR GLOVES when slicing meats and preparing cold sandwiches... YUK! I ordered two 9 inch sandwiches at $13 each. Somehow my total came out to almost $40 when I asked, they said "oh we charge extra for pickles"... my sandwich did not taste good, not sure how you mess up a french dip its just meat and cheese... I recommend a health inspector to check this location out.
