Solid dinner, I got beef pad see ew with medium heat. It could’ve been a little spicier but it was delicious. My friends also ordered medium spice and theirs was spiced perfectly. I’m assuming it’s a one-off and will be back again!

Pretty good food here. Might be because we came closer to closing but food came out really fast. Lanksa Curry with Egg Noodle was prob the best of the bunch. MI Goreng tasted a lot like Panda Express' chow mein LOOL (I mean that as a complement actually). Ingredients were fresh and everything was made to order. Will definitely be back!

I woke up with the munchies and figured I’d like to try some garlic noodles. I decided to go and find this place at around 8’ish and was happy to see they close late. When we walked in a lady greeted us and I let her know it was our first time. She said take our time and let her know when we’re ready. A few minutes later she asked me what I was looking for and I replied: Something with garlic noodles. She said I should try the Butter Noodles, so I did...delicious 😋 While I was waiting outside in my car, since this IS virus 🦠 time, I looked up some of their food pictures. I seen the crab wontons, which by the way the description that I found was wrong because there was no crab 🦀 in them, but they were still nice and plump with cheese. I did however order Hold Me Tight which were the shrimp wrapped in crispy noodles🤤Just because of those I’ll definitely be back tomorrow. When I first seen the noodles I was thinking 🤔: Well this is gonna hurt! Because I was anticipating the noodles to stab my gums, but much to my surprise the noodles were very crispy almost airy. Next I wanna try the curry 🍛 Go on, give it a try...you won’t go broke here.

I had the curry laksa and it was really yummy 👌 A little higher end as far as price but still really good nonetheless. Would recommend it to anyone who is craving noodles since it has a large variety and not just one type of noodle dish.

Finally a place in San Diego that has Indo/Malay dishes like char kuey tow and curry laksa. Cute little restaurant with many noodle options. Great fresh ingredients and less greasy than most places.

Man... just fantastic! I've been looking for a Mi Goreng spot for ages since e spending time in Indonesia. And wow, this place delivers! The sweet Chinese sausage with the savory noodles is a combo to die for. On previous visits I've tried a few other dishes that were also great, but the Mi Goreng is such an itch scratcher! The staff are also friendly and fast. Recommend to anyone who loves noodles!

Delicious Thai food. Had the spicy chicken wontons, cream cheese and avocado fried wontons, Dan Dan noodles, and char kway teow. The service was great. Friendly staff. Definitely will come back here.

Service was amazing! The guy running the front of house was working his butt off and did a fantastic job with dine in and take out customers. We highly enjoyed the steamed dumplings and crispy spring rolls! Dan Dan noodles were delicious and the old school fried rice was unique and delicious. We were dining in with 3 small kids and they very graciously offered to accommodate for different spice levels so we could all enjoy the dishes. I also loved how they had it decorated for Christmas.

Firstly, I am an unabashed noodlehead. I have spent a considerable amount of time in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Bali, and Vietnam. I also cook a variety of dishes from these countries. That said, the food at The Nood Bar was so perfect, I will probably cook less. The restaurant was clean and pleasantly basic. I ordered the Bamee Hang, a dry noodle recipe from Thailand. The Egg Noodles were perfectly bouncy, the minced pork flavorful, the pork belly perfectly cooked, and the wontons just delightful. The dipping sauce was perfectly zingy without overpowering the meal. I look forward to taking my wife here soon!

My partner is vegetarian and literally cried while eating the miso soup with udon because it was so good. They said it's so hard to find really good udon that's not fish based, and this beyond exceeded expectations. (Bonus points b/c they have a cold and say this is curing them😁)

Asia Noodle Restaurant is an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with the nostalgic sounds of 80’s music, setting the perfect upbeat vibe for the evening. The ambiance struck the perfect balance between retro charm and modern comfort. The service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell the staff truly care about providing a great experience. As for the food? Hands down, some of the best I’ve had in San Diego! Every dish was packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. It’s rare to find a place where both the cuisine and the atmosphere feel this authentic and memorable. If you’re looking for a unique dining experience that hits all the right notes—delicious food, amazing service, and an 80’s soundtrack that makes you smile—Asia Noodle Restaurant is the spot. Can’t wait to go back!

The Good: affordable, casual, quaint, date night setting, quick. Waitress was knowledgeable about the food and brought our dishes out to us as they were completed. Order the curry you can thank me later. The Bad: seating could have been more comfortable high top chairs were not to practice. The ugly: parking and there is only one bathroom.

If you love noodles, are in San Diego, and are not sitting in this restaurant right now, what are you even doing with your life?! All of the noodles are thoughtfully seasoned and cooked to perfection. Do you know how difficult it is to find really good wide flat rice noodles? And then to find someone who knows how to char them just enough to add the perfect smokey hint and keep them from sticking? Have you been to Asia and you miss the food? Come here and cry sweet tears of nostalgia. The owners are the sweetest. The service is impeccable in that true Thai warm hospitality style. The fried rice is so good too! And the dumplings... Just hurry up and eat here. They're new in town and they're only going to be a hidden gem for so long. You're welcome. :) Edit: Just tried the Gochujang Udon. Amazing balance of savory, sweet and spice!

WOW! Awesome place to stumble across while out and about in North park. The Nood Bar is brand new and still in the soft opening. I suggest you trying this place out NOW! Because when the word gets out there will be very long lines! Very clean small dining room, beers on tap and great selection. The service is excellent and the food is amazing!! The owner came out and introduced herself and she was a sweet heart. I can't wait to see their success! Next time we go i am sure there will be a big wait. The Tangy Salt & Pepper wings were amazing! My Chicken Drunken noodles (Spicy level 9) were probably the best i have had to date! The spice rack at the table makes for perfect ultra spicing up to your own liking. My wife got the vegi/tufu Pad Thai noodles without egg. Can't say enough positive stuff about this great place. Try it out you will not be disappointed! Sorry my photos are bad since i started eating before i remembered to take some.

We came in at a Thursday night 8pm, it’s kinda empty here and they close at 9:30. The foods are pretty good. My hubby ordered a Hong Kong style egg noodles and I had a creamy pork broth udon. Both are nice, especially the Cha Shu Pork is super delicious. The Hong Kong style egg noodles contain a lot of Cha Shu in it, my husband enjoyed so much. Mine has two pieces in the udon noodles, I think that’s right good for me. The noodles are nice too, plus they have a lot of noodle / ramen choices.

I ate at this venue for the first time and it was absolutely delicious. Both my girlfriend and I enjoyed the two different dishes we ordered. The service was very fast and friendly. They were super attentive to us with refills and getting to go boxes. Great place to eat in or take for takeout. I’d highly recommend checking them out.

This is a quaint local restaurant with reasonable prices and remarkably flavorful meal. The atmosphere is welcoming, clean, and has a modern-minimalistic feel to it. Inside seating is limited so plan accordingly. They do offer carry out -another good option. There are also a few tables outside and provides a good option if wish I g to dine in.

I checked this place out on awalk the other night. Fast friendly service with a cute dining area. I ordered: Fresh salad rolls w/ Tofu Romaine cucumber carrot, purple cabbage, Thai basil, dep fried tofu, wrapped in rice paper with peanut sauce. Basically they were the fresh spring rolls. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was my cold spring rolls with warm peanut dressing. I usually like that cold as well. The sauce was also a little oily or gelatenous and not smooth like others or had. I also had the Mi Goreng. Stir fried soba noodle, Chinese sausage, shrimps, chicken, sweet dark soy sauce, cabbage, white onion, bok choy, carrots, green onion, bean sprouts, and lime wedge. I've never had Chinese sausage before and it was really good. I would suggest that next time you have a mix of veggies like this you remove the shrimp tails.

So excited to have this place in the neighborhood. The spicy wonton appetizer was exactly what I was hoping it would be: lots of sesame, chili, and a great portion at a great price. Forgot to take a picture of our drunken noodles, but they were spot on as well. Can't wait to try the other menu offerings. Service was personal and friendly. This family-run business is a great new addition to the neighborhood!

The Nood Bar is currently mine and my husband's favorite restaurant in San Diego. They have a variety of food options to choose from, for Vegans, or meat eaters. It's always hard to pick what we want to order. Everything we have ordered is delicious! Fried rice, ramen, the noodles, potsticker, curry, and more. The service is always amazing! Ping is the best waiter/ host/ we have ever encountered. My husband left the restaurant with a man crush. His friendly energy was contagious. We left the Nood Bar with a full stomach and in a great mood.

Just discovered Hom Mali the other day buying dinner for Lunar New Year and so happy with everything we tried! The Laksa Curry Noodle Soup: 10/10 recommend! It is mildly spicy, comes with a ton of noodles (which honestly can be split into 2 bowls for 2 people) had excellent cooked shrimp, chicken and tofu nothing was overcooked or chewy just perfect. The curry was incredibly flavored I loved it, instant favorite. Must have . The Hong Kong style soup : 9/10 It also came with enough noodles and soup to split as two bowls! flavored exactly how Id expect when ordering a Chinese style noodle soup. Comes with huge portions of pork chasu that were cooked perfectly and rendered and baby bok choy! Also had the platter and honestly everything the spring rolls, wontons, siumai, egg roll and satay were delicious I usually am picky about appetizer platters but this one was so satisfying! Will definitely be ordering everything else on the menu

While I initially found the menu a little confusing I really enjoyed my meal here! I had the Udon which was quite good. The service is a little slow but it's a small place so that's not really unreasonable. Not a super traditional Udon experience but still really good!

It was super good the classic fried rice was the best ... such good service the servers were great and very attentive i would recommend it to your family... just be aware about the garlic noodles it was not as buttery as I'm used to and very garlicky taste too overpowering. all in all it was the best and don't regret coming here.

Good quality asian noodle spot, wide selection of different styles of noodle dishes. Cute cozy interior with attentive staff. The Dan Dan noodles were very good I just wish they were a bit spicier and saucier. Excited to try additional menu items to find the best combinations of flavor, quality and spice!

Small place with authentic Asian flavors. Noodle dishes/flavors from Indonesia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan. There's also fried rice, veggie choices, meat choices, soups, dessert, Thai iced teas, wine and beer. Street parking only. Inside and outside tables but place is small so come early, make a reservation or do take out. Worth a try!!

Nice restaurant. They have pretty much any Asian noodle dish from Chinese Dandan noodles to Indonesian mi goreng. It’s above concept and the dandan noodles were decent. The only thing missing was 碎米芽菜。Then it would’ve been super authentic! I loved the iced tea without sweetners. It was really refreshing. Spring rolls and egg fried rice were good, too. It’s a great one stop shop for any noodle cravings you might have. Let’s face it, noodles are delicious and there are so many delicious specialties that I think it’s great you have Chinese Dandan Noodles 担担面 next to Japanese yakisoba or a Korean-Japanese fusion of gochujung udon. This is a great little place and could imagine would be ideal for takeaway orders as saw lots of deliveries going out. I also saw they have anything from sake to soju and Asahi. Great little place!

Love the food. Eat here often for the convenience and quickness for pick up. But 9:99 for 5 wings no matter the size is way overpriced. Entrees are just slightly under portioned for the price. Also don’t bother ordering extra / combination protein. It will be just the same amount of meat with different kinds. It’s not actually more protein for the extra price. If they fix their to go price / portions would rate 5

Mid Expensive prices, big portions, ok taste nothing special Polite and quick service and nice bathroom.

The dirty wings and the chicken skewers were very good and my first order of garlic salt and pepper wings were very good. However, later the same day I ordered a second order of garlic salt and pepper chicken wings and two of the 5 were pink inside. This happened to an order I had two years ago. Would have returned the order but it was close to closing time.

a great option if you are into modern customizable dishes, the menu is similar to those of most thai restaurants in san diego. it is one of those places that is very well rounded but not particularly amazing. the food was good and tasty but i wouldn’t go out of my way to rave about the place or crave eating here, unless of course i really wanted an easy menu with familiar options to choose from and was already in the area. though in all honesty, the noodle soup is the only totally “build your own” section of the menu

This is my first visit. It’s Sunday evening and there were maybe 5 other parties dinning there. The menu is an eclectic mix of Asian cuisine, perhaps famous dishes from every country or region. Service was fast and friendly. I ordered the Hong Kong style noodle soup. While it is tasty, I have to keep reminding myself that it is in the style not the authentic Hong Kong noodle soup. The broth is tasty but I can’t quite put a finger on what the taste is. It is, however, with MSG. The Bok Choi nicely cooked and the thick cut pork belly was tasty and tender. The noodles were interesting. It is definitely in the style of Hong Kong but not quite. Overall, it was a nice meal but now I’m thirsty because of the MSG.

Food was pretty good however it was a shame that they could not let our whole party sit together. We had 8 people and we were willing to sit close but they were very strict, would not listen and kept repeating only 4 people to a table. So heads up, don't go here with more than 4 people or plan on sitting across the restaurant from each other.

First time we went to The Nood Bar, it was amazing. 10/10 experience. The food was amazing and the service was amazing. I'm not sure if it was due to the older lady (manager or owner) watching the staff like a hawk but everything was amazing. Second time (today), we walked in and the server was very rude. I should have walked out then but we wanted to eat the amazing food again. The wings were significantly smaller than the first time we went. Due to this, they were dry & lacked flavor. My white rice arrived cold and hard. My rice bowl that advertised "shrimp" only had three shrimps. What was suppose to be an exciting trip back turned into a terrible experience. Will not be returning.

the first and only time we are ever eating here if babies aren't allowed put up a dam sign. how are you going to tell me I have to step outside because my baby is being loud he is a baby. my wife is rightfully mad. I should have not paid didn't even get to finish my food due to the disrespect of suggesting I step outside.

First of all store was empty. We are a family of 5 we decided to give it a try. To not judge even though first red flag all white seats and tables seemed dirty also the menu was stick. Looking around at the walls was dirty. They have cute decor! Food came tasted okay but not good. We really really tried to be positive ! My daughter chicken was still kind of raw. Flavor was not there ! Walked to the bathroom and got glimpse of the kitchen ! Looked DIRTY 😩 my husband paid while I took my child to the bathroom and they tipped themself and expected more tip ! Once I left the bathroom I said thank you and got completely ignored by the woman who seemed furious. Their plates and presentation of the food was very promising! The food looked good but the flavor was not there ! Once we got home my daughter felt sick! She think it was the wonton soup! She spent the evening THROWING UP ! Will never come back !
