This was my first time at a Drag Brunch and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. As a queer black 41 year old woman marrying a man, sometimes I feel my queerness gets buried so drag shows and queer bars really help me keep my full self alive. My besties planned my mellow bachelorette in San Diego and picked this brunch for the interactive elements and the great reviews and I am so thankful they did. The food was fab, the mimosas were tasty, and the service was epic. They all had a lot on their plates keeping party groups, multiple Bach parties (we had brides and grooms and that was so great), and birthdays all happening but my glass was never empty and folks were always checking in. Please forgive me for forgetting the name of our amazing MC in the pink tropical outfit and nameplate chain (which makes me feel even worse for forgetting) …but this wonderful human made the environment so fun from welcoming us in to seeing us all out. Their energy really set the tone for the event and kicked us off with joy. The host Queen, Kickxy, was not only talented and beyond gorgeous, but made the interactive part so much fun. I was scared at first but the whole atmosphere relaxed me and while my team didn’t win, I think we all felt like winners. So thank you all from the bottom of my witchy heart and if any one of you want to come to a wedding in 21 days in Seattle, hit me up.
We ordered and share the Mini Mo's burgers. The meat was very tender and flavorful. For drinks, we ordered the mango margaritas with tajin, they were so good!! Very nice atmosphere to go with friends or on a date and listen to great music. The waiters are very nice and friendly.
Went here with my wife and friend Sunday night. Keith is the best bartender: friendly service from the start, a great smile, and always checked up on us. We sat at the bar, he let us try some mexican candy shots, got a couple drinks and some fries and we just felt so comfortable being taken care of by him. Thank you Keith for showing up as your genuine self!
Urban Mo's a lovely neighborhood spot makes everyone feel welcome. I went there first Saturday because that's when they do country dancing. Jim the DJ is amazing. Everyone is very welcoming; especially to me a newcomer.
We love spending time at MO’s. The food is always great, especially some of the new introductions. We love all the staff and always receive excellent service. Special shout out to bartender Keith who always welcomes us with the brightest smile and makes us feel especially welcomed!
Keith was our server/bartender and he was fantastic! Friendly, engaging, and genuinely great to talk to. We’ll definitely be coming back and asking for Keith specifically. He made excellent recommendations; the chipotle chicken bowl and the fettuccine Alfredo were both great choices 👏🏻👏🏻Service was amazing, the food came out quickly, and the overall vibe and environment were excellent. Highly recommend.
We just sampled some of the new menu items and they are fabulous. We cannot wait to go back and have the rest. Add in Keith as the bartender to make the night complete. He is fantastic and always makes us feel warm and welcomed.
I absolutely love MO’s and have been a regular for at least the last 15 years. They have the best drag shows, food is exceptionally good for being a “bar” and of course the yummiest and strongest cocktails! Mariam T is my favorite drag performer and Becky is always my server and girl when we visit. I can’t say enough good things about this place!
Visiting SD and stopped here after landing and waiting for my hotel. Jason the bartender was so incredibly nice that I came back while waiting for my flight back home. Such a sweet guy. You can tell the regulars really love him too! When I return to SD, this will be first on my list!
Sun, Rain, or snow (if it were to ever snow in San Diego), Urban Mo’s is THE place to go. With some of the bright and kindest staff, you would’ve never guessed that it was absolutely POURING when we came by. And their Happy Hour menu is one of THE best I’ve seen in San Diego. Period.

This was everything I ever hoped, I've been a huge fan of drag race since I was in 5th grade, and I recently moved here to go to school for jewelry design. And i got to go to my first drag show and see one of my absolute favorite queens and one of the first drag queens I ever saw on drag race. Meeting Chad Michaels and seeing him live was everything I hoped. I can't wait to see more shows, and the drinks are good too. I have really bad anxiety but I got 3 drinks and i was able to enjoy the show. I 100% recommend this place. Especially if it's your first drag show. It's a damn good place to see a show and the queens are everything. The outfits, the energy...etc it was just everything i hoped for.
Loved it here! Everybody was so nice and we got to meet some great people. Special thanks to Jason who let us behind the bar to get us our own draft-beer! Had a great night here.
The food is great, service is even better. They're so welcoming and are always happy to come around to check on you but give you plenty of time to browse their menu. Love the vibe here and will keep coming back!
Popular spot in town for very good reasons! Food is amazing! The first place that we really enjoy the potato skin and the serving was huge!!!! I couldn't remember what we ordered for drinks but both of them really good. Service was amazing as they checked on us from time to time to make sure we were happy with food and drinks. The checking in from the serving staff was pleasant, not bothersome like other places. We would love to come back for their shows.

We visit San Diego frequently. When we are in town, we like to go to Mo's for happy hour and an early dinner. The food is surprisingly good for a bar! We have never been disappointed. The other evening, Adam was our server. He was attentive and charming. One of our orders came out of our kitchen wrong and he immediately caught it as it was being delivered to our table. Adam stopped by a few times to see if we needed anything else. Good food & good service - What more can you ask for?
We just arrived in town 3 days ago and every time we go by its packed, so we stopped in today and its great. A little loud on my end since its hard for me to hear with all the background music. The menu has plenty of breakfast items along with salads, burgers and wraps. We split the Mo Burger, so delicious, it was served pre cut in half with an extra plate!
My friends brought me here for a surprise birthday drag brunch and it was SO FUN. Like seriously 12/10 a good time! But more surprising to me was how good brunch was! I got the rosemary hash and like… YUM. It was soo good! But everything my group got was delicious. The service was exceptional and just a really nice day out!
Great bar and great food. Bubbles for Brunch was a wonderful time. The performers really know how to work a crowd. Bottomless mimosas 🍾 were excellent. I spilled a drink at the bar and the bartenders cleared it away in no time and had a replacement at the ready. I wish I could stay longer and enjoy some more of their daily events. Next time!
This place is a lot of fun!!! Gay brunch is always a good time, lasts hours, and usually has a live DJ spinning good music. Bring your friends and have fun!!! The food is also really good!
I went for my mom’s birthday and it was so much fun. I got the endless pasta, since it was Tuesday, and it was good. I highly recommend the jalapeño business drink! Also they have awesome decorations, my parents told me they always go all out and I agree!

Well, we tried to pop into Moe’s in Hillcrest with our polite little service dog in tow, but the welcome we got was chillier than a San Diego evening in January. We didn’t even make it to a table because apparently the door guy—rocking a midriff shirt that honestly wasn’t doing him any favors—decided we weren’t the clientele of his dreams. Spoiler: our dog Leo was probably the best-dressed and best-behaved of the bunch. Long story short, we took our business elsewhere. Maybe Moe’s should remember that good hospitality means more than just policing who walks in with a service animal. Two stars for the unintended comedy show at the door, zero for actual service. Cheers!
Food quality and portion sizes have decreased over the years while prices remain the same. If attempting to dine at the bar, you’ll have to compete for certain bartenders attention while they’re busy chatting. Last visit, I had to ask to order a beer and later ask to order food. Also had to request the check. If you’re only ordering a drink and standing at the bar, you’ll have better luck.
