Literally some of the best Vietnamese food I’ve had in a long time. The service was amazing and the food was very affordable! Our waitress was really nice and happy to help us. We ordered the pork banh mi, beef banh mi, and a jasmine tea. Everything came out quick, and packed full of flavor.

Come here to get your summer rolls fix! This place serves some of the tastiest summer rolls I've ever had, sold by the piece, and their sugarcane shrimp and pork sausage rolls are an absolute must-try. The ingredients are very fresh, and the rolls are bursting with flavor from the the sugarcane shrimp and pork sausage. I also love that they wash the lettuce leaves before they use them in the rolls. FYI, their peanut sauce is topped with sautéed onions and other goodies, and it’s tasty! In addition to their amazing summer rolls, the restaurant also serves a really good Bahn mi. Every bite is a perfect balance of textures and flavors.

Tried this place for lunch after reading good reviews and it did not disappoint! The service was incredibly fast, the prices reasonable, and most importantly the food was delicious. I got the shrimp spring rolls and my boyfriend got the beef noodle plate. We will definitely be back here -- the food was so fresh and tasty!!

Best spring rolls in San Diego! My go to is the combo #1. My favorite rolls are the fresh shrimp avocado and the crispy viet crepe roll with shrimp. They’re so fresh and peanut sauce is to die for. The staff are incredibly warm and friendly! I am a loyal customer.🫶🏼

I got my order to go and ordered the veggie Pho with chicken broth base and a fresh lemonade. I got home and saw that everything was packed well. The lemonade was so fresh with just the right sugary sweetness. The pho… oh my gosh, the flavor was outstanding! The broth was a rich chicken soup flavor, the veggies were super fresh and the vegan ham & fried tofu were so well seasoned. I mean, I am a huge pho lover and I thought their pho was one of the best I’ve had. I will be coming back here soon to try their fresh rolls!

The food is always great! There are a wide variety of vegetarian and vegan choices on the menu. The service is friendly and efficient and the prices are amazingly low. If you are new to Vietnamese food try one of the combo platters. They have a little bit of everything. The dining room is pretty basic but I eat there for the food and value for the money.

my favorite spot in hillcrest. pho always hits after a long day of work. i literally come by myself which i never do to other restaurants. love the variety of the spring rolls and the banh mi is huge. just like solid comfort food and quality is sooooo consistent here!

Very unexpected. The twin cities SE Asian communities need to adopt some of these ideas. I wish I was staying longer so I could try more. Hats off to you. Highly recommended.

Live near DC and have visited Hawaii several times recently and was impressed with the San Diego take on pho takeout. Northern VA drowns you in plastic containers with takeout and Hawaii has giant spring roll portions. This restaurant put all the essentials in a bowl, toppings in a bag, and broth in a container you could reheat when you got home - easy to reassemble. Spring roll was right for one person and reasonably priced.

All I had to do was pour the broth into the noodle bowl and agitate it a little with the chopstick to get the noodles unstuck, which it did very easily. The amount of broth was exactly perfect for the noodle bowl.

Combo number 4 all the time every time. The spring rolls are heavenly. I crave the spring roll with mint on a daily basis, and the vietnamese crepe roll with the coconut sauce is out of this world. Simple, nutritious, decadent, I always come here when I go to san diego.

Pretty solid place for Vietnamese food! I got the Pho Rolls Grilled Shrimp, Special Goi Cuon, and Pork Sausage Crispy Spring Rolls, along with a Thai tea with coconut milk. One fewer star because some of the veggies were brown.

Just stumbled onto this place. While life rolls, I love pho more. Had their standard beef pho. Omg, the soup base is spot on. You can tell much care and time was spent making this the soul of pho. The meats are fine, but I would have paid extra to get more. The noodles were on the soft side, however.

We ordered takeout, and the experience left a lot to be desired. When my wife went in to pick up our order, she was told the egg coffee was no longer available for the day. She asked for a refund, but instead of being accommodated, she was told to wait 10 minutes with a bit of an attitude. We returned 15 minutes later and waited another 5 minutes before the server placed the coffee on the counter and, still with attitude, told my wife not to order the egg coffee in the future. There was no apology for the inconvenience. Personally, I would have preferred a refund over waiting for a poorly made drink that ended up having large bits of broken coffee beans in it. The food also had issues. Two of the avocado, tofu springrolls we ordered were missing the avocado entirely. Between the poor customer service and the incorrect order, I don't think we'll be coming back.
