Vinya Yoga and Wine Bar

I haven't been coming to Vinya for dining or as a community space, but rather for the yoga classes. I should say, however, that they host events and provide space for multiple Meetup groups, and that is fantastic to see. There's lots of room and parking, two things that are to be treasured! Mostly, I've been doing brunch time yoga here once a week for the past few months since moving to the area. The space is open, clean, welcoming, and big enough for everyone. I love that the yoga space is not heated, because hot yoga can be overwhelming for many folks. They have all of the straps, bolsters, and blocks that you could want, and they even provide cushy and supportive blankets that are in all sorts of fun and colorful prints. The teachers are very kind and helpful and offer many options if a certain pose is not accessible to you. They build on sequences and then put them all together for a flow that is as challenging as you want it to be. No two classes are the same sequence, but I can definitely feel myself improving over time. There are so many classes, as well. Some yoga studios offer classes at tough times to make, or they are always full. At Vinya, there are classes morning, afternoon, and night. I don't necessarily want to give away Clairemont's nice little secret, but.... This is a community space/yoga studio that I really like, especially as a relative newcomer to the area. I'd like to see more people come, and I encourage you, dear reader, to go. Take a chance like I did!

Loved the Brunch Flow! Cute yoga studio with a comfortable temperature. Easy parking. The food and wine in the restaurant were delicious! Food was super fresh and the ambiance was so comfortable. Loved the Brie appetizer, crab brunch bowl, and greens + things with burrata!

This store is right next to The Noble Chef (豪記私房菜). I came here on Thursday night to attend TAP's event and discovered this place. It's actually very spacious and quiet inside. The menu is full of healthy food. Because of its large space, it makes people feel very comfortable. It's very suitable for chatting with friends or having a big gathering.

This is a hidden gem that I stumbled upon recently when I was searching for a wine bar with a relaxed atmosphere. They have a wide variety of wines and beers. Happy hour looks promising too. I didn’t get a chance to try their food but it looked good from what I saw. It is similar to vino carta in little Italy but it’s more spacious with food and a parking lot. Lastly, the owners are down to earth people who also work the bar.

I came on a Sunday noon. It was quiet, but peaceful. There were healthy brunch options with amazing plating. My partner and tried their baked brie, pesto chicken sandwich, and brisket hash. Baked brie was the bomb best l've ever had! Amazing balance of nuts, figs, and sweet and savory tastes. Pesto chicken sandwich used tomato bits and FRESH PESTO!!! Felt loaded with good nutrients and flavor. We meet Patrick and Victoria, our server and chef couple who owned the establishment. It was cool to hear how they wanted to give back to the local community by adding what it didn't already have -- a yoga and crafts center with a brunch flair. There's also a small section that sells goods from local creators and artists in Clairemont Mesa -- be sure to check it out! I got an awesome birthday card with a sunset print.

Vinya is such a great addition to this area! The space is expansive with beautiful murals, and is able to accommodate a large group for both yoga and dinner. The wine list is diverse and well-curated, and the food menu items we got were delicious! There is also a selection of local craft beers. Highly recommend as a perfect way to unwind after work.

My husband and I live in Clairemont and have been anxiously waiting for Vinya to open! We are so happy they finally did! In fact, we went there 3 times the first week lol! Vinya is definitely our new local, regular hangout. The owners Victoria and Patrick are very personable, as well. First of all, their place is huge! They have a private large yoga studio on one side and the other side is the bar and tons of tables. My girlfriends and I tried their party yoga on a Friday night, which was fun! You don’t need to be a Yogie to enjoy Vinya though! We typically just head to the bar…. Their wine is delicious! They also have good deals with the wine club and buying bottles to take home. Gerson is their Sommelier and he’s awesome! He’s very knowledgeable about wine and picks some really delicious, unique bottles. I love their Malbec! For the non wine-lovers, they also serve beers on tap from local breweries we love like hopnonomous….. The food is also amazing! It’s a small menu, but everything is top notch! Chef Joseph Weber’s food is on point! We have loved everything we tr you Ed including the cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, Burrata/beets, brie, etc. Check them out!!!

Clairemont has been waiting for a place that’s inviting and warm. The food is clean and flavorful, the wine is award winning, the yoga is great for every level and the studio is a beautiful. The boutique is artfully stocked with items for local artists and makers. It’s a gem that needs to be explored. Parking is always available too!

I'm in trouble because this place is very close to me! It's such a great spot to grab a drink and a bite to eat - everything is amazing! I will try a yoga class as well and I'm sure that will be wonderful too. I've met the entire staff who are all lovely, welcoming people everytime I come in. Such a fab addition to Clairemont!

This is a special place! The concept is great - I've always wanted a way to hang out with friends after working out with them, and here it is built in! Also the food is gourmet - it is worth visiting just to eat and drink. It is a great place for big groups, too, which is hard to find. We had some people who did yoga and some who met us after the class to hang out. We ordered literally everything on the menu and it was all excellent. Favorites: Brie plate (pic), Caesar salad (it's special!), mushroom toast, and the incredible cheesecake. The cheesecake is a drier, lighter style with a savory undertones... I would eat that every day. Oh, and the Fri night yoga class was super fun! Visit!

We did a ladies night here as we'd never been and wanted to explore. It is in the same building that Beverlys used to be, and they updated it so nicely! It is a Yoga studio that also offers a casual hang out space, food, and wines. They have a lot of tables, including tables for larger groups. You can also sit at the bar. They have a yoga studio which the owner let us peek into and it is such a calming space. There is also a small shop/gear area to purchase yoga gear or home decor. Finally, they have a game cabinet!! We only discovered this on our way out, but if it's open for use I think it'd be a great space to play games! We mostly went to socialize, so we tried a few wines, a charcuterie board, and their Yukon gold plate. The food was delicious. I only drank ice tea so cannot comment on the wines, but everyone else seemed to enjoy it. I was disappointed that there are no refills on the tea. That struck me as odd since it isn't like individual cans or anything like that. I wound up drinking 3, so was surprised to see 3 tea charges lol. Next time I'll probably stick to water. Parking was super easy, lots of space. Bathrooms were nicely updated and clean.

First time at this spot. Came to hear a friend play with his jazz quartet. Neat little venue, very eclectic. Wine sales and beer\wine bar, yoga studio, and a jazz band playing. Various food options, sausage plate, veggie choices, crab cakes. All okay.

My first time at Vinya was last night for their Halloween trivia in October 2023. My friend and I love trivia and wanted to do something for Halloween but we wanted something lowkey. When we found Vinya’s event we were so in! We arrived a little early and there were already teams in costume all setup at tables. We found a spot near the bar, ordered food, and got up and got wine at the bar. I really liked their wine selection. (I used to drink a lot of wine at Wine Steals - miss them; and this venue reminds me a lot of Wine Steals.) The Trivia MC was great! She was so engaging and funny. The horror trivia started and it was going well…then she threw in a total multi-question curveball and we did better than we thought we would. We went through three or four rounds of trivia building up points and getting more and more competitive. We were in third for the last round and she asked a go big or go home question…WE GOT IT RIGHT! We took 2nd place and a couple of good prizes and felt accomplished for the evening. It was a really good time. Haven’t been back for trivia but have been back for wine. The space is just really inviting. Go, sit, and drink wine.

Great yoga space, chill Sunday class. They give you a free drink after the Sunday brunch flow, if you order a main. The space is huge and it looks like they’re running a lot of activities here. (Hopefully enough for the financials on the space this big to work out.)
