Opinions de Panda Express San Dimas
Im revising many old 2 star reviews for the slowest drive thru ever. They have changed and I flew through 5 stars
It's been a while since I've been to a Panda Express. As always their food is great. The employees are all cheerful. They ran out of fried rice, she said it'll be about 5 minutes, she apologized and asked me if I wanted to wait, I told her no problem. While I was waiting she apologized again and I told her not to worry. I thought that was kind her. She really went out of her way to make sure everything was still alright and then she offered me a complimentary soda of my choice from the soda machine. I got this feeling that everybody that worked there would go out of their way to make you happy. I would not have any problem recommending this place or going back again.
Some kinks need to be worked out with the AI drive-thru ordering, but the food was very fresh and tasty.
Food was good, I’m very picky so I love seeing when workers are cleaning tables after costumer eat so love seeing that also they check the food constantly love that! Very good costumer service as well thank you to Vanessa for being super nice and for being such a sweetheart great cashier.
I downloaded the app last year and have not been disappointed with the promos and discounts. Great fresh food
Great spot, friendly service, and fresh food made to order.
The prices are competitive with similar restaurants. The flavors are consistent across all their locations. In fact, I venture that the food at Panda Express is superior and substantially less expensive (and more generous portions) than the higher scale PF Changs. There. I said it.
My sister bought the super greens noodles chicken bowl. She loved it
I did the on line order for the first time. My food was hot and ready when I arrived. I got the honey walnut shrimp (yummy) and the new spicy chicken strips, they were ok but would not order again. They reminded me of shake and bake chicken. Woththeon line order I was disappointed that they did not have the Passion Mango ice tea as an option so I ordered it when I got there. The cashier said to put a special request in options to order the drink and provide an empty cup. Every Panda I go to has this tea so not sure why it is not on the app as an option.
EXCELLENT! First time visiting this location and was impressed with the service, good portions of food and cleanliness. My last Panda Express visit was in Monterey Park where I wasn't impressed with much from that location. At this location in Glendora, it was just the opposite. The employees were super nice and the food portions were generous. Since I love good food and fantastic service, this has the potential to become a favorite. Everything went so well here that I will have to visit again. If everything was as good as todays visit, this may become my "go to" for Panda Express. Overall an A+ establishment and highly recommended.
This place is reasonably priced considering the portions you get. The food is always on par.
*quick service *fresh food *friendly servers *spicy options My husband has drug me to 3 different Panda Expresses in the last couple years and I didn’t enjoy any of them until today. I was really impressed that we got our food without barely any wait even though there was a line. The only downsides were that I wasn’t expecting the orange chicken to be spicy so my kids didn’t want it and they didn’t have spoons to make eating the rice easier for the kids.

Jose and his team have helped me with two very large to go orders this month. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was accurate. They even helped me load up in my car. Excellent customer service and communication from this team. Also the 100 people loved the catered food. With the plates napkins and utensils it helped alot as far as convenience for the event we had.
✨Although I got orange chicken instead of the veggie egg rolls (which I originally ordered), not only did I get the egg rolls, I also got to keep the orange chicken, which I also like, no extra cost! ✨ Very clean, restrooms are clean & have full soap dispensers. ✨The soap smells very nice, might I add!
I used to go here all the time. Then they took sweet shower pork off the menu and they took eggplant off the menu. Then they discontinued egg flower soup and they discontinued hot sour soup. So I spend about 1/4 amount of the money I used to at Panda Express! I started going to Panda inn in Pasadena in the early '80s and it was on of our family favorites. Then they started Panda Express around 1983 or 84 and it became one of our favorite places. They've reduced their serving portion sizes and reduce the size of their containers for your third item on a large plate. Also, they're online ordering leaves a lot to be desired. You can't tell them how many of a condiment you want like hot mustard. They don't even have sweet sour sauce as a choice. You have to put it in the note section and hope they get it right! I just picked up my online order and ask them at the window to make sure I had four sweet sour sauce in the guy said yes I did when I got home. I only had three. I asked for four hot mustard and I only had three. When you ask him at the drive-thru window microphone then again at the window and they get it wrong. You wonder what's wrong with her customer service or have they been told to limit the amount that you get for condiments? got the bowl today November 12th 2023 and it didn't have very much of the main item on top! The quality of the food is always been good, but I'm not excited about the customer service or the portion sizes anymore! I used to go there twice a week because I'm 80 years old and don't like to cook anymore. But now I just go there when there's some kind of deal. Like today there was a BOGO for a bowl. When you send in a complaint they send you an email back with a coupon for an extra side but you have to buy a two side plate to get it! The family that owns Panda inn and Panda Express just bought a 42 million building in Pasadena next to where they're rebuilding the original Panda inn! So we as customers are paying for it by getting smaller portions! Today 08/31/2025 I asked for 6 hot mustard & was given 6 Chile sauce. Ridiculous!
Panda is great on those nights when you are just too tired to cook. Service is friendly and fast. The food is always delicious. We always use the drive thru and the food is still hot when we get home. Although we have our favorite dishes, mine are honey walnut shrimp, steamed rice with super greens and Beijing beef, we try different entrees each time. I'm always pleasantly pleased with my food. Everything is tasty.
I arrived a little before closing and Oscar was so nice to me. I had come back from a late commitment and he offered service with professionalism!

This is a panda location with a drive thru that shares a parking lot with Costco. If that doesn't scare you off... The staff were friendly but not as attentive as they would have been without the drive thru aspect. There was a hectic quality to the place that I could only assume was a result of having to deal with customers from all sides. They definitely earn their wages. Food was great, staff were friendly as is usually the case with Panda. Location wise... I'm unlikely to go back just because I hate navigating streets within two blocks of a Costco.
The food is fine, aside from the occasionally undercooked chow men. Once they stated posting g the calories, though, I switched to the bowls with mixed veggies instead of rice. Very happy with that option. Now I go there more often than ever.
My go to place to get fast Chinese food. Very consistent throughout the franchise. They have a new item, bourbon chicken, to the selection and it was good and spicy. The restaurant was cleaned and very spacious. Very efficient ordering on the mobile Apps and it was ready to pick up when indicated.
Ah, the local Panda Express—where culinary dreams go to take a nap. If you’re expecting the refined elegance of the original Panda Inn in Pasadena, prepare for a reality check. This is the fast-food cousin who shows up uninvited, brings nothing to the potluck, and still manages to leave with a to-go box. Ambiance & Service: The staff here are friendly and efficient, likely because they’ve mastered the art of serving orange chicken to the masses with the speed of a NASCAR pit crew. The restaurant is clean, which is a pleasant surprise—like finding a matching sock in the laundry. Culinary Delights: The food? Well, it’s edible. The flavors are as bold as a beige wall, and the oil content could keep your car running for a week. If you’re into lukewarm chow mein and egg rolls that taste like they were filled with existential dread, this is your spot. Portion Control: Beware the rice scoopers—they’re generous to a fault. Ask for “one scoop,” and you’ll get a mountain that could qualify as a small country. The meat portions, however, are doled out with the precision of a jeweler handling diamonds. Overall Experience: In summary, this Panda Express is the culinary equivalent of a participation trophy. It’s not winning any awards, but it’s there when you need it—like a reliable, if uninspired, friend. If you’re in the area and need a quick bite that won’t challenge your taste buds or your expectations, this place will do just fine.

Panda Express in Chino is a reliable spot for a quick and satisfying meal. The food is fresh, portions are generous, and the service is usually efficient. The Beijing Beef and Orange Chicken are favorites, and the veggies are always crisp. It can get busy during peak hours, but the staff keeps things moving. My wife and I stop by occasionally when we want something fast and familiar. It’s a solid choice for American Chinese food with consistent quality.

The quality of food is going down, I don't know why but not the same. I used to come more often. I'm editing my review since last time I ate panda... today I got broccoli beef, orange chicken, fried rice and chow main. Well, it's sad to say... taste hasn't improved, and rice today was with no salt at all (I don't have lot of salt on my food, in fact at home I use very little and have a sensitive taste for salty food, but today my rice had NO salt at all and I won't mention any more the quality. Another thing is that bothering asking for money, if panda really want to help I want to know what or how much is pitching in a side our donations???? I donate other ways (I won't say so I won't brag) but it's envarasing that I have to say no to donate my change.
Panda is panda pretty much everywhere you go. Occasionally we have a flavor that we like that gets discontinued but for the most part it's a generic standard Chinese meal. The staff at this location are generally pretty nice the food is generally pretty good. The downside to this location is that the fried rice is generally always dry and since I'm not a noodle person I end up with white rice. Remembering to ask for sauce when going to the drive through is always a challenge as they are throwing your food at you as you go by. Truly the only real complaint I have this minute is the new computerized drive-thru that asks you slow questions in a robot voice while you're sitting in the rain with your window down. The system was a great idea but there are such a variety of items that it now takes forever to order your food. Looks like we'll be visiting less often but at least we can walk inside.
Location: Good, Parking: Okay, Service: Decent, Overall: out of the 5 Pandas I go to, I seem to eat at this one the most. I think it is more Location as it is close to Sam's and Costco. But I will admit they keep the food the same with very little change. I have been to some where the care just seemed to be gone, but here it has not changed. So yes I will continue to eat here as long as they never lose their care factor and keep the items as they should be...

Miranda has horrible customer service. She works the drive-through and is not very pleasant at all. she is seen talking about customers to the other employees. she also cuts off the customers in the drive-through so they can’t complete what they’re trying to say. Very rude!!!
Unfortunately either this Panda or the whole chain has gone down hill in food quality as well as portion size. I ordered the teriyaki chicken, honey walnut shrimp and fried rice. The fried rice was ok but not overall flavorful. Honey walnut shrimp was on pare for what I expected. However, the main reason I am writing this review is the chicken. Not only was the portion size almost half of what it used to be, the chicken was also rubbery. I could barely get it down as it did not feel or taste like real chicken. Highly disappointed with this. On a side note, I would rather speak to a person than an automated order software. I hate were fast food companies are going.

Automated ordering has been the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen. Sat in line for over 20 mins in the drive thru and didnt have enough time to order and cuz I had to go back to work. How can a place with food constantly ready take so long? There was only three cars ahead of me but somehow took over 20 mins. If you’re looking to get any food on a time limit DO NOT come here. This will be a last resort place from now on.
I definitely won't be returning to this Panda Express the food was horrible my rice was hard and so was the broccoli it was supposed to be steamed. Also the food did not agree agree with my mom's stomach to say the least. Yes! Everyone has a different experience but the day I went the food was horrible! Good luck!
The food was good as always, but that is not what this one star review is about. Last week I witnessed a racist event that has made me decide that I do not want to visit this location again. While I was in the restaurant, I heard a cook (Hispanic, stocky, middle-aged) repeatedly call a black co-worker a "monkey" from across the restaurant in front of both the staff and a few customers. It was obvious that he was referring to this specific coworker because he was looking at the young man as he was sitting down on his break. At the time, I was shocked that it was actually happening, and sadly didn't say anything. As a black man myself, it is sad to see others treated as subhuman by their own coworkers due to the color of their skin. The chances of this being an isolated event are small, which leads me to believe that this is a restaurant where the management does not care if the workplace culture encourages racism or harassment. I hope that this review inspires management to take action in preventing future events like this from taking place.
Cook “Carlos” was very rude food is always cooked bad when he is on shift.
Food is oily, fried rice is mushy, chow mein is meh, automated drive thru is causing long lines. What happened to a real person taking orders? Not coming back, just came to this location because it was closer to me this moment.
Apparently the posted hours of operation are at the whim of the workers. The sign says the drive thru opens at 10:00 AM. We drove thru at 10:15 and sat there for at least 5 minutes. Nobody came over the loudspeaker to take our order. We saw workers inside the restaurant, who also saw us. Finally my husband gestured with palms up, "you open?". One of the workers inside the restaurant shook their head no, so we left. Don't know if the manager is aware that customers are being sent away. If the manager does know, that's even worse. Never will go back to that location.
It was just before 5 pm. There is no line. Only one car in the drive through. Walk up and there is no rice?? There was only a couple diners in. Why was there no rice right before the dinner rush? So after waiting for the rice to cook, I see the guy put chicken on top then scoop some off my bowl. Drive home to finally enjoy my meal...or so I thought. After the employee asked me "do you want the teriyaki sauce on top", I said yes, he doesn't do it. So, I have to drive back to the store. No one cares at this Panda Express. The guy just handed me a cup with sauce and says "sorry", then walks away. I've been to this Panda Express many times and 9 times out of 10 there is an issue. How is this place still in business. I keep giving them another chance, but they keep giving me bad experiences, consistently. At least the food was still hot.
This is one of worst food places. The staff members have been replaced with the new team members. They are very rude and put just a very little in your plate and if you ask them for a bit more they will get upset.I rather go somewhere else
This place doesn't even deserve a one star!! Food was horrible. Wrong order piled on the rice and noodles to cover our sides ordered broccoli beef and only had one piece of beef and two broccoli. Order kung pao chicken and instead they gave me string beans with one piece of chicken and string beans we're cold. If you go thru drive thru guess they don't care cause we can't see what their putting in our order. Bad service. Called to complain if she was a good manager she would be on top of things!!!!!! Oh did I mention the rice and noodles we're dry don't go here.
Do NOT COME HERE. Waited 20min drive thru for them to say there’s a 5 minute wait for chicken and to wait in drive thru parking. Waited 15 more minutes, to the point I went back inside, and they told me “ we just put it on, it’ll be 5 more minutes…….” Got a refund, never coming back.

So I went to this Panda Express. Megyao served my order, she seem to be very careful to not fill my bowl to the top. When she finished serving it, it look like if I order a kids meal. She is very rude to customers and to her co-workers. I feel sorry for her co-workers as I also work with someone that has the same attitude. To bad nothing can be done when you have family working in Panda corporation office. Won't eat there again, But on the other hand there is a sweet girl name Natalie she was very nice, helpful and with a good attitude.
My girlfriend ordered spicy orange chicken there and it was all pink inside and very undercooked. Very unsanitary and unsafe
Walnut Honey Shrimp is a scam. 15 shrimp for $12 on a medium, and 7 pieces for $7 on a small. Their a la carte containers are always 15-20% air.
Edit: Getting worse! No napkins agiain! No sauces again! AI bot taking the order that asked me tondrive into the car in front of me several times. Only gave me one enture in my plate! Called and asked for my money back and was only offered a free meal next time. Can't believe I keep going back. 🤦♂️ Edit: same issues. Only this time they couldn't figure out how to use my phone to pay. But the cause and napkins didn't make it into the bag again... Review from years ago: No napkins, no sauses, barely warm food and one short of a fortune cookie. Horrible experience.
Burnt chicken. Had it delivered, ordered teriyaki chicken, and they didn't even put it on the chicken or on the side. This panda is horrible. Very small portions if you ordered for delivery.

Rude everytime I go, I didn’t ask any of the workers to apply to a job that closes at 10:30pm so when I get off at work at 10:00pm I’m not rude to anybody I just want my food and want to go home after my shift. Why there has to be an attitude every single time is insane, and then to be rude to my older grandma is also mind boggling. I dont close late at my job and blame everyone else for it, maybe you guys should review the customer service training. Oh and if the drive through is closed try putting a cone there so people don’t drive through it and you don’t have to get angry at people coming into an open establishment!
Bad Food not warm enough under Cook don’t go to this Panda Express
It was terrible my food was terrible it looks like they gave me the food that’s been sitting there. Everything mid cold and horrible drive thru. And they don’t care have attitude. It used to be a favorite spot now I’m going to have to look else where
It was lunch time. Multiple items were not ready. We waited 30 minutes. After we got our order, chow mein was undercooked, bejing beef was so overcooked it broke my fork, orange chicken hard and no taste. Worker could have apologized for the long wait. We won’t be back!!
The server who served our food and cashed us out had an attitude from something prior and had to show it. I asked to sample the Beijing beef for freshness and she snapped back that they dont do that anymore and that it had just came out. I get it, we live in a post covid world, but not providing samples to let the customer know freshness of what they're ordering is wild. Then I ask for a handful of sweet and sour sauce, she makes a face and grabs a bunch of packets and puts them in the bag. However, when I get my food home and open the bag, she had literally only grabbed 3 packs of sweet and sour and filled the rest of her handful with random sauces that I never asked for or even use. To top it off the Beijing beef was stale.
