went here visiting in sf. the ramen was delicious and my mom who never really eats japanese food loved the rice bowl she got. the service was 10/10 impeccable. we even got a little icecream desert for free i would recommend this place to anyone

This place is heat, ramen was good, place looks cool, the drink was also really good. The bench near the window is a little rocky though, but besides that, the food is 🔥

The food was very delicious and all the staff were so kind and checked up on us multiple times - it was very enjoyable and we will return!

The actual best ramen I’ve had in my life. I got the Shoyu ramen with an extra egg. The broth was flavorful, the pork meat was incredibly tender and juicy and fell apart beautifully, noodles perfectly cooked. Perfect amount for a meal without being uncomfortably full. Service was great. They were very kind. We only waited about 15 minutes for our food. Highly recommend!

I had a lovely time at after hours ramen! They are open a little later than most other spots in the area and the food is great! I had the tonkatsu ramen and devoured the whole thing. The service is also amazing!! They are very very kind and gave us little complimentary ice cream scoops at the end of the meal! I will absolutely be returning!

New to the area and I’m a creature of habit. After the gym I was craving some ramen so gave After hours a go. Nati (hope i got her name right) and her co worker were extremely nice and welcoming. The ramen was cooked to perfection I had zero complaints. They didn’t have Thai coffee on the menu and asked about it and Nati said i got you and whooped me up one. I will def return to this welcoming establishment. ♥️

The Food was fantastic the Garlic Oil Ramen had a strong but wodnerful flavor with generous toppings, the Tonkotsu Ramen as well had a delightfully warm broth that permeated my body. Their veggie tempura was also wonderful as well, overall food wise it was delightful. They also sell boba so just a bit of extra goodness. Service was fantastic too, the food came out in under ten minutes, everyone was friendly and quick. Lastly the decor was lovely perfect if you want a few insta or snap pics though the chairs they had were a little uncomfortable that is the only thing i can think of that was a negative. Everything else was fabulous.

Great spot! Very attentive and sweet staff, great for a cold day. Yummy spicy miso and tonkatsu and the fried tofu as an alternative to the charsu hit the spot.

What a gem! The ramen was fantastic, rich, and flavorful - and the service was equally great. This was the first restaurant we chose on our San Francisco trip, conveniently located near where we were staying. What a find! The casual, low-key vibe was perfect. If you enjoy ramen, you will not be disappointed!! We can't wait to go back!

The miso broth was light and flavorful, and the noodles itself were the perfect texture for me (it had a tiny bite to it). Service was great, and the complimentary ice cream at the end capped off the experience.

Excellent service, fair price, open late-ish for the location, and very friendly staff. I’m pretty picky about my midscale ramen, but this was solid. The egg was perfect, chashu was tasty, and noodles came piping hot. I asked for extra spicy and they delivered. I would definitely come back again

This place is so underrated! The unagi don was delicious and it came with salad and miso soup. The chicken nuggets and fries tasted like McDonald’s I used to have as a kid. And the vegetable tempura was very crispy. Service was attentive, it is affordable, and I will definitely be returning.

The sweet fried tofu udon was fantastic!! Service was amazing, and fast. The seaweed salad was also very yummy! Prices were great when we went, absolutely worth a try :)

After Hours is one of our favorite gathering spots. Great selection of beers & bar food. We had the angus burger $10, lemon pepper wings $11, spicy chicken sandwich $8 and popcorn chicken. My angus burger had a soft, juicy patty. The bonus was the crispy onion strings inside that gave it a good contrast. The lemon pepper wings were crunchy with a fragrant citrus scent. My friend's spicy chicken sandwich had an aioli dipping sauce on the side that gave it an extra kick. The popcorn chicken was infused with paprika and peppercorn that tasted awesome. Great job staff at After Hours. My glass tonight was never empty.

The nicest service ever! And they give complimentary little ice creams for dessert. We had the spicy tonkotsu ramen, pork chashu bowl, and tofu udon, and all were really yummy.

This is such a nice place with very good service! I had the chicken udon. The soup and noodles were tasty, although the chicken was cooked slightly less than what I'm used to. The atmosphere is small but cozy. Staff were very friendly. I'll definitely come back if I need some warm noodles again!

Boba is good tiger brown sugar feels like it needs more brown sugar in it. Wings and fries tasted actually very good crispy batteries and tender wing. Only gripe was that with one of the larger Wings we found that it was a little pink near the bone and had a chewy texture so I had to spit it out.

During COVID of 2020, the cheeseburgers and fries were an amazing meal to have. At some point in late 2021 into 2022, the quality dropped and After Hours shut down altogether. Recently it appears they’ve reopened become a cafe focusing on Boba teas and small bites. We had a Mango Fruit Tea and Strawberry Fruit teas with exploding boba which were good but nothing outside of your typical boba. Overall the experience was good with friendly service.

The place has like a coffee/boba tea shop vibe and atmosphere but they serve some pretty buss ramen. Also ITS SO CHEAP!!! Would def recommend and come back!! + they gave some free ice cream at the end🤩

Atmosphere was a little run down, seemed like they were in the near end of construction or something. Food was good and served quick, the meat was a bit softer than most other Tonkotsu I’ve had, and the bamboo tasted different. There was only one other party than us and once they left it felt like the servers couldn’t stop staring at us. They were very attentive but it was bordering on them stalking our table. Overall good experience however I wish they were a little less attentive to our table.

I was happy to learn of this ramen joint that opens a bit later, closing at 10pm in case I got hungry at 9pm. We ordered the popcorn chicken, black garlic oil tonkotsu ramen, and udon with shrimp tempura. All of them had good texture and appearance, but were missing that umami restaurant flavor that I'd travel out of my home for. Both soup broths were nice to sip on a cold day, however I couldn't really tell if my ramen had black garlic oil in it. The tempura was crispy but would've tasted a lot better with some tempura sauce, but they don't have that. The portions are generous. The interior as a whole looked rebranded from a prior eatery, and has potential to become a chill neighborhood hangout spot in the Outer Sunset. I think if they got new tables without scratches, comfortable cushioned seats and kept them clean, it'd feel homier with a nice hot bowl of ramen on a foggy day. Service was nice and staff were welcoming and accommodating. They served complimentary ice cream (random flavor) at the end of our meal, though sadly we both despise coconut, we appreciate the gesture. Might be better if they asked customers for flavor preference prior.

I’m puzzled by all the 5 star reviews for this restaurant because this is probably the worst ramen I’ve had in the city so far. We got fried calamari as an appetizer and it was not fresh to the point it was very difficult to chew. I got the chicken paitan and it was flavorless, I don’t think they added any salt to it. And the chicken katsu I ordered along with it was full of fat and grease. Won’t be going back again.

When they say "you can't judge a book by its cover" this place is sadly was just that. Everything about the way this place looks and feels, screams that perfect and amazing ramen shop. Sadly, the service was terrible, took forever to get the waiter to come over even with only two tables occupied. Waiter messed up nearly every part of the order from what pork type was served with what ramen, and the strength of, plus content of each bubble tea. Disregarding that, the ramen was mediocre to awful. I got the spicey tonkotzu, and wifey got the black garlic. She was ill before we got home and spent half the night after, hovering near the restroom. The whole thing made me sad, I was looking to have a special night here for over a week and was terribly disappointed.
