I have coffee here three times a week in the morning sit down and talk with the fellas this is a great coffee shop great staff nice owners treat you like family
This place is my favorite coffee shop! Great food and coffee - the Mexican mocha is the best! Efficient and friendly service and a great atmosphere!
Great staff, great coffee, great food and great WIFI a well deserved 10 out of 10!! You can get some good coffee and hang out and people watch all day out their big front windows
Great customer service.. I've been here twice. So far, excellent. Love the coffee!
Breakfast bagels and coffee were great. I wish I'd tried it with one of the meat options, but 5 bucks for a breakfast bagel was appealing.
Really flavorful and strong Cumaica Blend, great ambiance, friendly people!
Opens early for working folk and local community. Good enough coffee, I buy beans there to take home if I cant get up to North Beach for some Graffeo.
Been to this place for years, people are always nice and everything tastes great :D i recommend breakfast bagel w bacon!
They have a very great selection of pastries and coffee cakes and coffee and that are very friendly and helpful with describing their different types of coffee drinks
Best breve latte so far I've had in San Francisco. Very good service very prompt. Great quality fruit and overall good vibe in the coffee shop. Nice back patio. My new favorite
Variety of baked goods, sandwiches, I got the Cumaica blend coffee which is store blend from Jamaica coffee beans. Friendly staff and efficient ordering. Local hang out, start getting busy after 10am
I've been coming here since it first opened up as a Martha & Brothers Coffee shop. The coffee is absolutely excellent! I usually just get coffee, and it definitely gives your Starbucks, Peets, and etc. a run for their money straight coffee wise. It has a nice strength that I personally always appreciate and enjoy. They have an incredible menu and a great selection of sandwiches, salads, pastries, bagels, and other drinks that look really good! I do look forward to trying more of their selections, because there's such a variety of them and they all look great. One thing I can attest to besides the coffee is the Maté Latté! Hot or iced, it is just absolutely delicious! I've never seen it or had it anywhere else but here and I do suggest people try it. Maté has a very distinctively delicious taste, especially as a latté. It is hands down my second favorite beverage from Cumaica besides the coffee itself. The location itself is really great. They have a nice spacious layout, they have the tall counter seating facing the street and on warm days they even open them up for the breeze to flow through. I'd have to say those are my favorite seats, you can just people watch and just zone out from the hustle and bustle of Mission Street. They have an absolutely lovely back yard area with seating and everything if you want to be outside but not look onto the street. Great place to stop by for a coffee or lunch. One of my top favorite coffee shops in the City, hands down.
Hands down the best coffee in town. The breakfast sandwiches are great lots of pastries and sweets. They also have a great variety of cold and hots drinks. If your on the go they got options to
Lovely neighborhood coffeeshop! The women who work here are so friendly. Good coffee, good food, fast service, clean. Bilingual Spanish/English service. Recommend the quesadilla!
Cumaica is one of my favorite coffee places. It has a great atmosphere for getting work done: good sunlight coming through from the front, quiet noise level, adequate outlets, and free wi-fi. And, as a cherry on top, the coffee (I usually get ice coffee black) is one of the best I've had as well - though I'm no expert on coffee.
Quick and heavy breakfast items, excellent customer service for such a fair price!
The Cumaica blend is excellent, strong flavor, but not strong coffee, pastries from City Baking, plus more traditional Mexican pastries and prepared. Affordable. Take the 14R. Lines form around 7am on Sunday, but plenty of sitting space.
This Nicaraguan coffee shop was definitely worth the stop! Staff was extremely friendly and willing to help me find the perfect drink. Service was quick and my Iced Chai Tea was as Absolutely DELICIOUS!
I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich. The food was really nice, but there are a lot of mosquitoes in the restaurant lolll
Good prices, has everything I expect out of a coffee shop
Just checking on the place. It's been a few years since I've enjoyed their incredible coffees and foods.

Two shots of espresso and a toasted sesame bagel with cream cheese. I am the only one who doesn’t speak Spanish in the shop. As good as it gets in the Mission.
I often stop here on my way to work and they are always so quick and efficient! I'm often waiting for the bus when I stop in and I'm almost always able to order and recieve my coffee in less than 5 minutes, which is doubly impressive because I'm annoying and always have add-ons or alterations. Their breakfast burritos are super tasty and come in a variety of options. I also love the local handmade cards they have for sale, and the mini free library. The outdoor seating is nice and spacious as well. The baristas have always been super sweet towards me and I can see they have good relationships with a lot of their customers. I often see the same regulars there so they must be doing something right!
Awesome, homey coffee shop with a beautiful backyard. Great place to work or study.
This is a mom-pops coffee place. The place is cozy. Customer service is great, but I think that a little bit of smiling will be great! They offer good quality coffee. They have a patio deck in the back. It's quiet and relaxing! Try it and let me know!
The inside is a dimly lit, quiet atmosphere, with plenty of room and even a cute little book exchange reading area♥️They also have a back porch seating area which is always open. *Street parking only* The staff: two ladies were so sweet and very accommodating in terms of helping that one indecisive customer with too many questions like me lol.
Great service, friendly staff who serve with a smile. Take credit w/ $5 minimum purchase. I had a latte and a hummus bagel with veggies. All totaled ~$9.50. Coffee is great quality, and they have decent snacks, beverages, pastries, and sandwiches. Excellent Latin music and Free WiFi...good connection. Not a lot of outlets to plug into though, and it gets pretty noisy when they grind beans. Buses run up and down the street; street parking is metered unless you find a space a couple blocks up the hill.

Cpffee comes in many tastes to choose from, they also have flavorful pastries and other breakfast type items Staff is very accommodating and friendly. Nice place to have a cup of Joe!!!!

Cumaica Coffee: Sunny Spot in the Mission Finding parking on Mission Street can be a challenge, but if you find a spot near Cumaica, and want a coffee, it's not bad. The coffee itself was decent, and while a bit pricey, that seems to be the norm these days. What was nice for me, though, was the sunny back patio. It's a nice spot to relax with a cup and enjoy the San Francisco weather. Overall, a decent coffee option in the Mission, especially if you're looking for outdoor seating.

The workers were really nice and helped me out quickly. The coffee was decent and the sandwich was fresh. I was in a hurry during my break. When I got back to work I realized they forgot to put bacon on my sandwich..
Really love their chai frappe, I've never seen a coffee place do that before! Their pastries are tasty as well, and I like their lox bagel sandwich. The employees are friendly but the service is a little so-so at times (feels awkward to give your order to the cashier then repeat it to whoever is actually running the coffee stations). But I still recommend the place. There's a really nice outdoor patio in the back too!

Not the type of place that is comparable to the craft pourover spots in town, but it had a nice atmosphere. The mocha kinda tasted like hot chocolate mix, but I was OK with that.
My high hopes of really good coffee were completely crushed after my first sip. The staff was super friendly, but, the coffee was far from ideal.
This place is ok. It's not my first choice for breakfast or coffee hut it's not the worst. Their bathroom is very clean which I think says a lot. They also have some pretty good homemade treats but bagels and coffee are just ok.
Typical mediocre coffee shop that you would only go if you're near and need caffeine fast. Old cheap espresso machine produces bad extraction. Espresso comes out diluted and in large quantity- 4 shots or so. Good quality central American coffee beans are used with low acidity, however.
Pretty good! The coffee is fine. The mocha's taste a little like hot chocolate. They do at other coffee shops in the area as well though. The shop is pretty. There's music playing, but it doesn't interfere with your conversations or thoughts. The wifi works like a champ. There's a very nice patio out back. What would be super-cool: If they accepted <$5 debit card transactions. Last reviewed: 6/19/2015 Reason for the trip: Headed into town to work.
Th workers are nice and the coffee & food is good, but their order-of-operations needs work. Every time I've ordered a breakfast sandwich, and they heat it up the cashier leaves without closing my order, and I'm left waiting until someone else comes up and asks "what did you order?"...

Bagels and fresh squeezed juice I would recommend only. Could use more vegan friendly menu items
Chai tea latte with soy is definitely the worst I've ever had. I guess I'll try some other caffeinated bev next time.
I use to come here all the time when i lived here. Though over the years the staff has become impatient and rude. This time around I couldn't have coffee because of stomach issues. I specifically ordered a hot chocolate and made modifications to it. My family member ordered a drink with coffee. My order was made incorrectly. It had Espresso in it making it a mocha. The lady who took my order began to gaslight me and say things like "I heard you say Mocha" Which keep in mind I spoke to her in spanish and said "chocolate caliente y chocolate blanco" When i tried to tell her that she wanted to argue with me. I just got quiet because I realized she just wanted to make me feel bad. Then she said "We will remake it for you this time. We only do that when it's OUR fault. But I heard you say mocha." I just said okay . At that point I just wanted my drink and to leave. And the cherry on top was the words "Gracias, muy amable". Unnecessary commentary after the way you just treated a customer. Like I have said before. I use to come here all the time and it was just upsetting that this immature outburst was what I had to deal with so early in the morning. Goes to show that when you get more staff and new customers a small coffee shop can easily ruin your day.

Worst bacon breakfast burrito I have ever tried. The potatoes were grey and the bacon was under cooked; everything tasted off. I threw it out after two bites.
Everytime I ordered a coffee they could never get it right. The ladies are so rude. I stopped going there.
Not what it just to be, service is now rude, baristas get really upset if you tell them that your order is wrong. I noticed that they love to service European Americans. I won’t return…
Disappointing experience, overpriced and overcharged. They kept insisting make my macchiato a caramel or vanilla macchiato, which they charged for, never admitting that the regular macchiato was $1 less (and already pretty expensive for the neighborhood). In fine, it tasted more like an expresso.
Iced coffee is terrible, food is good but pastries taste how the store smells. Matcha is great. Was coming every Friday for the Matcha after coming once for the iced coffee. Barista insisted I agreed to a Mocha, which I didn’t. They argued with me and I agreed to pay another $1 to have them change it. Said next time they won’t change it for free. I tipped 20% every-time. I’ll stick to my overpriced Starbucks Matcha.
One of the worst places to visit. From the outside, there are homeless people camping, which causes an unpleasant smell. Inside, the baristas are some of the rudest. They give preference to people they already know, so getting a coffee can take 15 to 20 minutes. Several times they overcharged me — I didn’t notice right away because I was in a hurry, and when I pointed it out, they got upset and treated me very poorly. Their coffee isn’t good at all.
