Only recommendation: make sure the oil used isn't hydrogenated. I asked if it was and they didn't know. Hydrogenated oil is bad bad bad for the ❤️. Keep cooking up the great food!

I ordered 2 Enchiladas along with chips. Food is very and the service is great. There free water available at the table. It a small restaurant probably about 6 tables. I will repeat. Thank you!!

Sooo delicious and fresh. We all got different burritos so we could share. Chicken with sweet potato fries, steak with pineapple...the combos were endless, the flavors amazing. Got a sangria, too, but next time I'm leaving room for the food. Chips with salsa come with, but I'd skip so to save the room. Will definitely go back to try the tacos and salads.

After finishing up my scrumptious meal, I was still a little hungry and ordered a slice of flan. It was also very delicious. With a stuffed stomach, I can say i enjoyed my meal very much and for only $23. What a deal! I did get some tortilla chips but didn't try them.

I have grown up going here with my family and the food has always been amazing. And I will absolutely be coming to eat here when im visiting my family this week. I am simply making this because the amount of people complaining about the foil lack critical thinking skills. They put the foil down to prevent the food from softening the plate and leaking through. If you are dumb enough to cut through, pick up, and then EAT the foil, it’s a wonder you have made it this far.

This has become my absolute favorite burrito spot in SF - specifically for the bronco burrito that comes without rice. The meat is always tender and well seasoned and the salsa and guac are amazing as well!

The food is very good, I'd say reasonably priced considering how quickly your food comes up and how good it tastes. Burritos also include chips and salsa so it's fair. The service I could pass on, the cashier was not at all interested in being there. At least the burrito was fantastic.

I came to get the taco plate. The decor is nice. They charge an extra dollar or so if you want carne asada. They also only offer crunchy taco shell if you want to order the plate. I ordered a pollo asado and Al pastor taco. The plate was good but there was way too much shredded cheese on top. Overall pretty good experience but I feel I’ve had better tacos.

I've been here many many times. The food is great and the portions are generous - price wise it makes this place cheap. This isn't a place, atmosphere wise you'd go on a date or something but, it's a great place to just pick up some food for yourself or if you're not trying to impress anyone. Either way, it's great food! The chorrizo breakfast is the best

El Burrito has quick, cheap food. I really like their corn tortillas, and their salsas are quite tasty. They do give you lots of disposables, even sometimes when you ask not to get them.

I recently came back and noticed they just finished renovating! They even added some new burrito creations on their menu. Prices are still decent and portions are great. They brought back the buy 9 and 1 burrito card! Their red or green salsas are really good. Always ask one of each with your chips. Would love to see a small salsa bar in the future. Wish they can stay open until midnight or 1am. Also they are close on Sundays. Other than that it's a great place for a burrito and tacos in the area.

My wife got enchiladas, but she hates enchiladas unless they come with white cheese and these came with yellow on top. She liked the rice though! All in all it was a good little spot.

I'm giving this three stars because the food was 50/50. My partner and I both ordered burritos. He ordered a fajita burrito and I ordered a al pastor macho burrito, which basically means that it's a massive 16 to 18 in Long burrito. His burrito was okay. My burrito had all the things a burrito needs but somehow they did not combine well. Perhaps it was a little bit too soggy and there wasn't enough meeting it, because it all mashed together inside as if it was a 7-Eleven burrito. On the flip side, the people that were working there were extremely nice and super friendly and very engaging. They alone would be a reason to go back.

May need to try another burrito from here because their most popular burrito on Uber eats is without rice and beans and with French fries. It was a bit bland. The salsa, guac and chips were delicious. Loved the melon aqua fresca.

I had been coming to EBX since they opened 30+ years ago. They are walking distance from my house. Very convenient. The food has been consistently excellent. The service has been consistently not great. I used to visit EBX once a week, sometimes twice a week for as long as they have been opened. I guess you would call me a long time customer. I pretty much ordered the same thing for myself and my family and the food was always good. Unfortunately, I would say 2 out of 4 times they would get my order wrong. A lot of times I wouldn’t notice the order was incorrect or something was missing until I got home. I would have to walk back and let them know the order was wrong. I was always pleasant , even though this was a regular occurrence. About a year ago. I did my usual weekly visit. I got home and my burrito was missing . I called them and let them know. No apologies just “oh, you can come back and pick it up”. I just got home and didn’t want to walk back and wait for my order that should have been done correctly the first time. I just said forget it and can I get a refund. (No refund as of yet) It has been over a year and I haven’t been back since and don’t plan to. It’s not worth the aggravation. I’m really bummed because I really like the food and EBX was my family’s weekly go to for good take out food. I know this is an issue with other families in the neighborhood that go to EBX. The same thing. Foods great but, they can never get my order right. So, I know it’s not just me. Also , the one employee that’s usually at the register taking orders is so unpleasant. She’s been there for years. Never smiles. Like I said I have been coming to EBX for 30+ years. Never a “hi” . I always feel like I’m inconveniencing her. I always say “hi” to her and she barely looks up and acknowledges me as a customer. She always seems like she doesn’t want to be there, Like I said , I will take my business elsewhere where at least my business is appreciated. I have been going to Cumaica coffee shop for about the same time as I was going to EBX. They know my name and always, always get my order correct and are SUPER friendly. For other long time customers. Please take a moment and make sure orders are correct and you at least greet all of customers.

It was lunchtime and I was hungry. I was walking by this restaurant and saw the little boy had a hard taco. So I went in and ordered two hard steak tacos. I've been asked the cashier. How long would it take for the tacos and it's to go? She said 5 minutes. So I stepped outside smoking a cigarette went back in my tacos were ready. My work is 1 block from this restaurant So by the time I got back to the front desk. I started eating my food. The tacos were cold. The tacos were stacked on top of each other which then made them soft tacos. All of the cheese and the sour cream and the salsa was on top of the tacos. The meat was cold didn't even taste it didn't even feel like they put it on the grill. I will never ever. Go to this restaurant again. I should have kept going to City taqueria literally 2 Doors Down.

I normally come here , It's closer to my place but last time I order the guy that made my taco salad did not use gloves. He seriously scope out with his bare hands, I find it really gross, I end up throwing my food. I could have request it return but I don't wanna complain and I was in a rush .

The burrito was not good at all. I ordered a Veggie Mix. The onions and cabbage tasted burnt and they didn’t include potato as stated on the menu. They barely added any cheese and it was quite expensive for something that seemed overcooked. This mishap had nothing to do with quality of food. It was an error of the chef who clearly doesn’t like their job. It wasn’t even busy inside.
