Opinions de Flying Ninja San Francisco
It is a simple dining room with some outdoor tables too. The sushi was fresh with lots of options. It is an extensive menu, not all sushi - but that is all I was there for. Convenient location to The Fisherman's Wharf area, doors down from Argonaut Hotel and less than 1 block from the Cablecar station.
My wife ordered a bento box I ordered two rolls one was Ghirardelli the other was Seattle everything was fresh and delicious. We enjoyed our meal on the patio which was very beautiful. Service was top-notch.
Sushi was phenomenal! So fresh and delicious- you can tell the fish is great quality! We would definitely return. Spicy tuna and negihama rolls were dynamite!
Came here 3 times during our stay in San Francisco and loved it each time. Friendly staff and nigiri portions were huge. Casual but delicious.
Amazing sushi, super friendly staff! Our food came out fast and it was absolutely delicious! We sat outside and it was beautiful, will be back!
I was seated right away at Ninja Sushi, which was a great start. The food came out impressively fast without sacrificing quality. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The service was friendly and efficient, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m craving sushi!
Stopped in one evening with my family. We sat inside, but they have an outdoor seating area with heaters. Service was friendly and fast. I had the Miso Ramen and a few pieces of sushi. Delicious! Definitely worth a try!
This place was amazing quick service excellent sushi, very fresh and flavorful! Wish I lived in CA so I could come back and eat more sushi! Had the Ghirardelli roll, the wonder women roll, and the Fisherman’s Wharf roll.
This was my first experience eating sushi. Everything tasted so good. And for Fisherman’s Wharf area it was relaxing and not too crowded on a Friday night. I would definitely go back next time we are in town!
Such a cute, chill place for sushi meal. The staff were so nice and the food was great. The size of the rolls are huge too! Can't wait to come back.
One of the few places in SF where you can get authentic Korean bbq and sushi that’s not sunset. Highly recommend, and the owner comes up and talks with you
Food was delicious and the presentation was fantastic. It looked like what a commercial would show you. Employee s were friendly and there was even a band playing chill music right behind the restaurant. Loved it.
A house run by a couple who have lived in San Francisco for nearly 30 years. Kind, reasonable price and kind. The taste is excellent, and if you want to eat Korean food, I recommend you to go to this restaurant. Roll is the main dish, but sashimi and sushi are also excellent. Japanese beer is available for draft beer. All menus can be packed, so it's good to eat at a hotel.
Very cozy place with an open flame, like a campfire. The food is super tasty, with the freshest salmon, and everything is made so carefully. They even have interesting options like rolls without rice – great for those on a diet. The musubi rolls with SPAM were warm and delicious! The staff is very friendly and pleasant, creating a feeling of family respect and warmth. I’ve tried nigiri with ikura at many places on the West Coast, but here it was the freshest and most tender, with big pieces! The presentation was also really unique, with a cute cucumber palm tree. Highly recommend
Excellent sushi and very decent value for money. We've been looking for a good sushi place in SF but none of the tour guides we used seemed to have a firm favourite, so we chanced it with this one and are so glad we did! (Thanks, Google reviews! :)) We ordered the $60 chef's sushi and sashimi platter to share between two, and it was just the right amount for two moderately hungry adults. The service was fantastic, water and chilled, and we were cheerfully served extra portions of pickled ginger and wasabi upon request. The food itself was delicious - excellent quality, well made and truly tasty. My favourites were the crab sushi and salmon sashimi, as well as the fabulous miso soup (one of which we were given on the house!) A great meal overall, and a very enjoyable experience.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Adorable patio atmosphere, great for a meal with family, friends or date. Delicious food. Terrific offerings for sushi eaters and their non adventurous companions.
Used to come here a lot when I worked in the area. Cute space, we ended up sitting outside. I got the bento box snd a roll. Everything was delicious and the staff is very nice.
What a beautiful place to get some authentic sushi. The outside seating is very nice and the waiters are all super sweat. The best part of course is the sushi, its not cheap but you get the value for your money. Definitely recomend👍

Great place for a quick dinner. Ramen was delicious, crispy spicy salmon was phenomenal. Family of 4 ate for around $100. Will return again to try more!

A Disappointing Experience at Flying Ninja We had walked by Flying Ninja many times over the last few months and always wanted to try it. Finally, we got the chance to do a takeout. I stopped by the menu outside for a glance and was pleasantly welcomed by the lady and gentleman working there. The menu looked very inviting. I decided on a Sherek Roll and their Salmon Special, which came with a few pieces of nigiri, sashimi, and something else I do not recall. I had read the reviews, and I was hoping for a pleasant experience, but we were disappointed. The fish did not taste fresh at all, and we did not finish either dish because it just did not feel right. As mentioned above, I had read other fellow Yelpers' reviews and ratings, so I am guessing Flying Ninja had a bad day on that date. As for the environment, the outside seating area looked fine, but when I walked in, the tables and the counter were a bit messy, so if we were to eat there, I would not sit inside. I am giving them a three-star rating instead of two to account for the possibility that this was one of those bad-timing situations, and things are usually much better.
