Opinions de Supreme Crab San Francisco
Fun little seafood place. Not a bad price. Food was delicious and service was awesome. Even though its a serve yourself they cleaned the plates super fast. Shrimp was soft and seasoned. Both with heads and without. Crab legs had a garlic seasoning that was delicious. The mussels and shellfish were delicious and fresh. Will definitely come back cause I got full and it was super affordable. Thanks for an awesome time and food. We will be back.
Based on 3 Star review on google map, I had second thoughts of going elsewhere but I made a great choice of eating at supreme crab overlooking the reviews. The food quality was good. Usually with buffet is that the quality is lacking however the buffet turned out to be great with every dollar worth. The crab was the best of all, super juicy and fresh.
Super tasty! Everything is so yummy on its own, and can eat all with so plenty! It is definitely worth it and of great value, the crab is so tasty! I am glad i choose to come disregard the recent bad reviews, i feel this restaurant might got bad competitions since the value that beats most others. Anyway, i appreciate the food and the big feast. The serving people are also polite. 超级爽! 海鲜大餐,这canjun帝王蟹绝了。可以冲,超值!
The food is really good, considering its seafood from the Atlantic. The rules have changed. Maybe amend the reservation system to NONE as they just do walk ins according to the signage at the door when we walk in. Why the 90 minute dining? The service is good. Food stations were always replenished. Whoever said not to drink the soda before the meal was right. I managed to get me something from all the hot stations and have room for dessert. There were disposable gloves for crab degustation, can I recommend disposable aprons as well? That is all. Thanks.
This place was a blessing! I wanted to eat a little more than crab and right when I was about to give up this place started flashing in my face! I was taken back when I went upstairs and checked out the place. The staff was somewhat friendly but you can tell they wanted everyone out just as quick as they came in. The only thing I hated about this place is that they have a guy scoping you out to see if you’re going to finish and leave. The best part is that they have Tapatio!!! That really put a smile in my face! Highly recommend it!
Pretty good food but crab too skinny😆👉🦀
Swung by for too good to go order. Located on 2nd floor with beautiful view of the wharf. Food was delicious and fresh. Nice seating and selection of buffet items.
Seasoning with shellfish is very delicious. 😘The sauce and cheese cream flavors are also great, but it can be a bit frustrating when eating crab legs. 😂Why aren't there scallops lobster and oysters? I feel very unfortunately!🥲I hope you can prepare specialized crab opening tools and pay special attention to eating meat first.🤩 If you eat the main food or drink beverages first, it is easy to burst your belly early🥰🥰🥰
So if you’re looking for an affordable all you can eat snow crab legs/claws then this is the place! The seasoning was perfect paired with lemon juice and salt/pepper, crab meat was fresh and tasty. Can’t say the same for the Dungeness crab, it didn’t taste as fresh. The oysters and mussels were yummy too. The bay clams were too dry (tried several batches same results). There’s some fruits & salad fixings but not huge selection. Dessert wasn’t worth the calories. Didn’t try the ice cream because we got so full on the snow crab legs. They have chicken nuggets and fries, this might be helpful for those with kids but can’t comment on their taste as I didn’t eat any, came here for the seafood. There’s not much service. The water is self serve, though they’re really good at clearing the table of plates. We sat by the window and enjoyed the beautiful view.
For the price of 29.99/person for an all you can eat seafood buffet, ones expectations can't be too unrealistic. Food was ok. Not an abundance of variety but should suffice. The Dungeness crab legs could not be consumed. The ammonia taste and scent that came from them almost knocked me out. The King crab legs were delicious. The chowder was great too.
This place has lots of going for it: great location=right off of Fisherman’s wharf on the way to Ghirardelli, the setting is nice, it’s a good value, money-wise considering that it’s an all you can eat for $32 you get soup, salad, main dishes, deserts and fruit. Why didn’t I give it 5 stars ⭐️? While I enjoyed being there as I had to catch up on some work, the taste of the food was a bit average
Was disappointed. $30 all you can eat 🦀 crab. Nice concept. Crab had flavor but hard to eat, extremely messy. My wife who loves crab only had one helping. The place has concrete floors. It seemed clean? The spring rolls were at the end of the warming trays on the shelf so enjoy cool food. The clam chowder was actually good. But the rest of the food was not hot, more warmish. If you want something other than crab, save your money and try a different Chinese buffet. See the photos.
Overall: What a disappointment. For some reason this place is listed as being a really good place for seafood buffet. Location & Ambience: The restaurant is at Fisherman's Wharf with a nice 2nd story view of a small marina and the bay (large staircase and no elevator). The seating is kind of dirty and uncomfortable. Service: Non existent and no interest in providing it. Prices: Not terrible @ $30 per person for the full buffet (minus drinks). Drinks are $3 for a can of soda. There is no soda machine with on-tap drinks which was really irritating. I tried to explain to the owner that people would probably pay significantly more for soda on-tap instead of paying $3 for a soda can. It wasn't a huge deal, but the 'least-effort' theme pretty much dominated throughout the entire visit. Everything in the restaurant is set up to minimum standards. As in, "what is the least that we can supply and still get away with charging $30 per person?". Service: The service was non existent, and with that, I mean TRULY non-existent. I actually didn't leave a tip (which is very unlike me), but the reason for not leaving a tip was; from the time we sat down to the time we left, we did not see, talk to, or interact with a single employee! No server, no greeter, no one. The one single interaction we had with anyone, was some guy who distractedly walked from the back room/kitchen to the cash register upon our entry and processed the credit card payment and then walked away after he handed us our $3 soda can. I tried to engage him in conversation by suggesting that they consider getting a FREE soda machine from Pepsi or Coke (they supply the machine if the product is supplied by them) then charging a reasonable price for drinks. Hell, I would have been willing to pay $10 for drinks if it were on tap when I needed it. It isn't like I am poor or am pinching pennies, but I hate when businesses skimp on customer convenience issues for the sake of a tiny bit of profit. Cheap. Cheap. Cheap. The food: Quality was above average for a buffet, although a bit limited with selection. I was disappointed to find the only crab legs which were on offer was the Creole-seasoned type, where the salt is so crusted to the crab legs it is nearly inedible (which may be the plan to save money, offering the illusion of choice). I had come to the buffet with crab legs being my primary goal, but after cracking my first (WAY overly-salty) crab leg, I ate zero legs. There were some good shrimp dishes and I did enjoy those. Desert was just a selection of cheap pastries which were obviously straight out of the package and not a restaurant made product. Overall score 2/10. We're were very disappointed because we intentionally looked for a good seafood buffet in SF and were looking forward to a satisfying meal. We left unsatisfied. The score of 2 is because there were a few good shrimp dishes which were good, not great, but good. All other aspects of the restaurant deserves a score of 1, especially considering the $30 PP price point. I only go to the city rarely but I am certain there must be a better seafood buffet in SF. Hopefully we will find it some day. However, we will never again spend money at this restaurant. For a good seafood buffet, we would have been willing to pay $60 per person! I do not understand these businesses that believe the way to make money is to be cheap and offer the least possible for the highest price. A successful business offers customers exactly what they want and then price their offerings at a reasonable gross margin. I know this because I own a business myself. I would never do business like that, and I imagine this business will only be around for another year or two before they go under. Too bad, because there is potential with the location and 2nd story view of Fisherman's Wharf. Owners of this business- Implement changes ASAP and stop trying to cut expenses! Instead of cutting expenses, try increasing profit by offering what your customers want without skimping. You will double your annual Net.
Bad service. Food tasted old like they reheated everything from a day before. Very limited for a buffet. Not too many options. Sodas are cans and no refills. Dumplings are too hard, old and too salty. Not worth the price at all. Save your money and go to a regular restaurant or another buffet.
They know how to get you, they make you pay before you sit down. Want to know why? The food is horrendous. Rubber shrimp, cold & stale rice and noodles, crab that is incredibly dry and inedible. We actually could not stay and eat more than a few bites. We went at opening for dinner and it was still gross and most definitely not fresh. They would not refund us which is ridiculous. They had food in warmer pans NOT in warmers ?! Just sitting on the edge of a counter. Also pretty sure this is a health concern, there is no running water in the woman’s washroom. How is that even allowed? I beg you to not go here.
Supreme Crab Seafood Buffet was a disappointing experience. There weren’t enough items for a proper buffet, and the overall cleanliness and maintenance were poor. Even the sauces were watery, and nothing felt fresh or well-managed. They seriously need to improve both their service and overall hygiene standards.
