I had such a lovely experience at Hummus Mediterranean Kitchen! I was in the mood for a simple Greek salad and just one single falafel ball—definitely a weird request! At first, they let me know they usually serve falafel as a full plate, but then they surprised me by bringing exactly what I wanted anyway. That little act of kindness made my night. The food was delicious, the staff was incredibly kind, and the overall vibe was so welcoming. I’ll definitely be back! Five stars! ★★★★★

This is a very nice no nonsense Mediterranean place on Polk Street. Great food, clean and nice ambience and good service. I had a kofte wrap with salad and that was yummy!

Food was delicious, especially Et Döner. Döner was impressively good. When I compare it to food in Turkey, most restaurants don't stand a chance but this restaurant has an identical or even better taste than it's competitors in Turkey. Workers and the cashier were polite. The atmosphere was clean and minimalist.

Turkish Breakfast - This was our first time trying the new breakfast menu and we are happy to report, it's DELICIOUS! I had the Greek Omelet and they had the Sajuk omlete, both were amazing in flavor. I highly recommend getting a side of Pita to eat with both of these dishes, helps pull everything together. Give the breakfast a try if you're in the area.

We wanted something light, and went for the sampler plate. Delicious and fresh, making us want more. So we ordered the lentil soup for dessert. The soup had superb flavor. Out of order, sure, but we then had the baklava. It was served slightly warm, and a generous sized piece. I felt that brought out the buttery flavor. The meal was not heavy, and we left with the clean palate that you should feel with greek food. High marks for the food and the staff as well. They were proud of their cuisine and attended to us over and above, making suggestions for our next visit. Clean and friendly atmosphere. This is a do over.

Fantastic brunch spot on Polk. They do Greek-Turkish dishes, including many breakfast and omelet dishes not found in many other Mediterranean restaurants. I really like the little Menemem and the beef soujak that you can add to many dishes. Their hummus and pita is made fresh to order and is amazing. The staff are also really helpful and and friendly and will give you recommendations to navigate the menu if you ask.

During my recent visit for lunch, I chose the kale chicken salad bowl, which was both delectable and satisfying. The house dressing adds a delightful kick to the dish.

I ordered online and picked up. Tasty, healthy and quick. Good amount of quality food for the price point especially when compared with alternatives around the area.

Very delicious food. The falafel have a nice crisp on them. Tzatziki also very good as a starter :) Service very nice. Highly recommended! :)

This is really good Mediterranean food. I really like the wraps and the hummus is delicious. The staff is very welcoming and happy so I definitely recommend. I rate this a 10/10

We shared a chicken wrap here and the service was pretty good! The wrap could have been little bit bigger, it was nothing special, but it tasted good. It wasn’t too busy ay 8pm at night and the vibe was cool. The interiors are also beautiful and I will be back to try the rest of the menu! The food was also served quickly!

They are incredibly friendly, polite, and open to engaging in random conversations, which adds a personal touch to the service. 😊 As a Muslim, I appreciate that the restaurant offers Halal food, making it an excellent choice for individuals like me who require Halal options. 🕌 Despite the great experience, there were two minor issues. Firstly, I was surprised to find that napkins were not provided with my meal. 🧻 I'm not sure if this is standard practice or if it was an oversight in my case. Secondly, the prices are a bit on the higher side compared to similar establishments, which could be a consideration for some customers. 💸 Overall, I had a wonderful time at the restaurant, and aside from these two points, I have no complaints. I highly recommend it for its food, ambiance, and excellent customer service. 🌟

Update: Food is still delicious. Just not sure what happened to the bread of the wrap crumbling so easily. Hopefully, it's just a one time thing. What happened? I can't even eat this gyro wrap. It just crumbled on me. It was overly toasted perhaps.

Polk Street feels like it is coming back to life and I am here for it. My mom and I had a little girls afternoon and decided to stop in for lunch after getting our nails done. We split the House Combo, which had a little bit of everything. Lamb and beef gyro, chicken and beef kebab, koftedes, rice, and some pita on the side. For just under twenty three dollars, it was a solid deal. Plenty of food for two and we still had leftovers to bring home. House Combo: 4/5 My mom also tried their house lemonade and was really impressed. She loved how balanced it was, not too sweet and just the right amount of tart. Lemonade: 5/5 A relaxing lunch, good portions, and sunny sidewalk seating. A lovely way to spend the afternoon.

Usually doordash their food all the time. For the first time tonight, they missed my side order of pita bread, and the sandwich came completely ripped apart with the sauces opened and spilled on the side. Such a disappointment, never again.

Ordered $90 worth of food through DoorDash. Order kept getting pushed back and was eventually assigned a new dasher. Finally had to call Hummus to be told they canceled our order for no apparent reason. Would not recommend and will not be giving them business again.
