The food is excellent and thumbs up for service. I love the place and try to eat (or order from) there as often as I can.

The Detroit-style pizza is delicious! Crisp bottom, crunchy cheesy rim, pillowy soft interior, and super-fresh toppings. We got it as a Caprese-style, with fresh tomato and basil. Beyond the pizza, service was very friendly and the new parklet outside is the best parklet I've seen anywhere. Recommended!

When you get pizza & Brazilian cuisine at the same place, it's simply awesome! You have the option of cornmeal crust here too for the pie options. A very extensive menu, but definitely try the Brazilian dishes, so amazing!

I have a been a Mozzarella di Buffala afficionado for a few years now and all their dishes are excellent, the Brazilian food rocks!

Wonderful place, wait stuff is especially great, I was there today and I was out of sorts and gentleman taking care of our table was so tactful and careful around me! I love when restaurant employees know how to read the room versus coming to the table every 5 seconds when there is obviously something off.

It was so delicious and the staff were courteous and diligent. I wish we had time to dine in. I highly recommend. Thank you for making our last day visiting in the Bay a very memorable one. You're food made for an excellent choice in the park.

Their place is a bit confusing to figure out. We ended up in this sort of wine room, which was pretty cool. If you're looking for a quiet, calm place, this isn't the place for you. Pretty lively and lots of foot traffic of people walking to and fro. Pasta and pizza were delish. Friendly service. Cozy and casual.

I’ve been coming here on and off for the last three years and the staff is always friendly, and the clos delicious. Prices are fair and it feels like you’re eating at home, if that makes any sense.

We've been ordering take out for years but have recently been lucky enough to dine in house. The staff is spectacular and so kind, they make you feel like family. The new Detroit Style thick pizza is the bomb. Great taste, airy dough, and crunchy just the way I like it. For dessert you have to try their authentic Brazilian sweet pizza topped with bananas, strawberries, and chocolate sauce. A surprising treat.

We had the coxinhas for appetizers. For main dishes, we had the feijoada and churrasco grellhado. Everything was delicious. The service was excellent. Zach was pleasant and courteous. Next time We will try the pizzas.

Over time Mozzarella di bufala has become an SF staple. Not only is the food great but the service is even better. Will definitely be returning soon.

We moved to Oakland three years ago, and we still cannot find pizza we like as much as Mozzarella di Bufala. Whenever I am back in SF around lunchtime, I try to stop in. I have been known to pick up a large pizza to take home to Oakland for dinner. The car ride over the bridge with pizza smell is tough!😀

I stepped in to grab a slice, in the middle of a realization that my lunch meeting was more work than food. I expected nothing.. just something to put in my tummy till I reached home. The first thing that threw me off was the charming welcome.. and it wasn’t the spectacular wine selection backdrop! The little joke about my order number while I was handed my slice, was refreshing and cute.. but made even more sense when I came here to write the review and saw the address of the place.. but I digress… let’s get to the point. The pizza! Hands down the best slice I have ever eaten… and I have been to Italy a few times and know what burrata and arugula are supposed to feel like on that dough! This was unbelievably fantastic- and yes my starving state might be exaggerating it - so, I suggest you guys try it out and tell me if I’m right about it!

I usually get chicken piccata or chicken marsala but today I won a cheese pizza and I added one topping pepperoni and it was delicious. Loved it and we ordered a Greek salad and we ate our breadsticks with the Greek salad and it was delicious. Everything was delicious 10 out of 10.

They have really good sourdough crust & you can buy it small, med or large. Their crust is soooo good! I usually order thin crust & thought I spread it out thin enough but no worries- it's idiot proof! The crust had bubbles, was crispy outside, chewy inside. I think my pizza was better than theirs! The crust was good and not too thick, good deal of ingredients. Really enjoyable after a disastrous collection of gooey and too thick pizzas. The salad was okay (nothing to talk about). The crew were helpful and responsive. Thanks to Brendan who was taking care of my order.

The delivery driver was super nice too. When so many restaurants have either closed or lowered their quality or their portion sizes since Covid, Mozzarella di Bufala continues to be the best. Great Location, West-portal Muni is about half a block away, very sunny and chill ambiance, the pizza options are great. The best time for pizza is for family dinners, date nights and also a nice brisk walk along the portola Drive right after Dinner.

Pretty good mixture menu of Brazilian and Italian. Atmosphere, pretty nice and cozy but brightly lit so you can read your menu. Sadly we were seated next to the storage closet and the employees kept running in and out getting supplies. Service, the waitress was really nice. My friend tried to order a dish and didn't want to say the name because he didn't want to butcher the language. But she said be brave and try it. She told him how to say it and he tried. She came by at good intervals to check on us and was very personable. Food, I had the Italian mini pizza, it was really good. Surprisingly I loved the artichokes on the pizza more than anything else and I'm usually the one picking off sausage and eating them. It had a good kick to the pizza. I brought home two slices, and my father ate it and loved it. He usually doesn't comment on pizza at all. I think he would of enjoyed it if I brought home a bigger pizza though. He had to ask me if the 2nd piece was for my mother. I said yes. So he left it at that.

Kinda hit-or-miss. Sometimes, it’s amongst the best pizza in the city*. Other times, it’s sopping wet and sad. Especially for delivery, you’re really taking a chance here. For eat-in, the pizza consistency is slightly better. Their menu is expansive to say the least, and I haven’t tried everything on it but it’s similar in consistency to their pizza. Unfortunately, the pizza is SO good on occasion that I can’t give it less than 4/5. Take your chances, shoot your shot. I’m sure you’ve made worse purchases elsewhere. *I tend to like a fluffy, soft crust pizza with a cheesy mess on top every once in a while. If this is not your taste, you do not belong here.

The corn meal crust pizza here is something special. Although the service is good there is very limited seating inside. They do have an outside seating area. Also the delivery service is very convenient. They can accommodate larger groups in a bookable area.

The Cornmeal Crust Pizza is a must try. As a Pizza elitist, the Corn Meal Crust Pizza with Black Olives was my go to from 2008 - 2010, which I ordered over 20 times. In 2022, a mere 12 years from last possible eating of this Pizza I try it again. This time plain cheese. Phenomenal. Addendum: Review II - Detroit Style I wrote this message to the restaurant, "I LOVE your Cornmeal Crust Pizza, so I tried this because of that and because I am currently trying all Detroit Pizza in San Francisco. I was surprised you guys have Detroit Style. I just want to say, I hope you will improve your Detroit Style. Your Cornmeal Crust is one of my favorite Pizzas after trying 65 Pizza Places in San Francisco alone. I am enjoying your Detroit because I love you guys but it is the lowest quality Detroit Style I have tried in San Francisco objectively. Please try Cellermaker House of Pizza to understand. The Cornmeal Crust Pizza is a must try. As a Pizza elitist, the Corn Meal Crust Pizza with Black Olives was my go to from 2008 - 2010, which I ordered over 20 times. In 2022, a mere 12 years from last possible eating of this Pizza I try it again. This time plain cheese. Phenomenal. Addendum: Review II - Detroit Style I wrote this message to the restaurant, "I LOVE your Cornmeal Crust Pizza, so I tried this because of that and because I am currently trying all Detroit Pizza in San Francisco. I was surprised you guys have Detroit Style. I just want to say, I hope you will improve your Detroit Style. Your Cornmeal Crust is one of my favorite Pizzas after trying 65 Pizza Places in San Francisco alone. I am enjoying your Detroit because I love you guys but it is the lowest quality Detroit Style I have tried in San Francisco objectively. Please try Cellermaker House of Pizza to understand. I was very disappointed with my experience there today. Me and a woman friend waited about 10 minutes until I had to get up and get the waiter to take our order. We placed our lunch order that included tea. The tea water wasn't hot. The Greek salad had wilted lettuce. The pizza was good. When a man came in by himself, the waiter took his order right away. I don't think we'll be coming back.

Nice place, amazing service. However the slices were pretty weak for $4-5 each, wouldn't come back for slices. The Detroit style pizza looked good

It was a last minute Valentine's dinner in a new neighborhood, and the food was pretty good, but the service was meh. Hard to find the front door. It's actually a pizza joint in front, so you need to go in the pizza joint and walk towards the back and wait for someone to greet you. The people working the pizza counter didn't say hello. The server didn't ask for our drink order. I finally asked for a glass of wine, but he never asked if I wanted another. No one refilled our water glasses. We asked for extra dip for zucchini sticks, but he forgot it. His attitude was friendly, but way too casual. The ambience was full lights on and basic, but still had a bit if charm. Looks better from the street than actually inside. Probably wouldn't return, but the concept of Italian/Brazilian is cool. It just needs to be an elevated experience for the price.

Went to Mozzarela di Bufala many times and their food and deserts tend to be good. Last Saturday I got a passion fruit mousse and it was not great. Looked like it hasn’t been completely refrigerated. Came home put in the fridge and still like watery.

After 20 plus years of having their pizza, which I used to consider the best, unfortunately, is not the same anymore. I ordered a slice of di Bufala pizza, And first time I had to throw away most of it. Ingredients and dough quantity is not the same. Pepperoni dry and extremely salty, sausage, salami, cheese lower quality, dough mushy. The place is extremely small with no waiting area and lots of people traffic next to the tables. We, consumers understand to the price raise, but not to raise prices and lower the quality on food (like so many restaurants are doing now.)

We used to order from them regularly. I admit, usually the Greco pizza (we loved it) , and not your standard tomato, sausage and mushroom. This time I did order the sausage/mushroom…but there wasn’t hardly any mushrooms or sausage on the pizza. Maybe just enough to ‘suggest’ toppings, but…that won’t happen again.

Ordered spaghetti bolanas , it used to be great spaghetti. I haven't been there in along time,so I don't know if it was an anomaly or this is what they are serving now. It tasted like something out of acan.the meatballs use to be prepared with different ingredients. They where very plane with no taste.would definitely be very reluctant to order this dish again
