I dare you to find a better crab cake or chicken cordon blue! Your mouth will thank you 😋😋😋😋😋
We had such a fantastic meal here! Wine, food, cheese, and desserts were all extremely delicious and made with quality ingredients and care. There's something on the menu for everyone (at a reasonable price too!), and you can't go wrong with your pick. Everything is as delicious as it looks in the Google photos, and it's so nice to have a smaller locally owned restaurant nearby of such high quality. We will be back soon!
This place is amazing! The food was delicious and I couldn't stop eating it, everything from the salad to the pizza to the baked brie to the special homemade dessert. The owner even brought out a cup of the daily soup for us to sample. My group of six had a lovely time and really enjoyed the cozy decor. I'll be back for more soon!
Had a great lunch with a friend here yesterday. The owner was our waiter and he was very friendly and very attentive. I decided to try the tuna pizza and it was amazing!!!! Never had a tuna pizza before, but the owner told me I would love it and he was right! Really cute neighborhood place in Noe Valley. I’ll definitely be going back.
Love this place! Delicious food, wonderful service. Support more small businesses like this.
Hidden gem! The food is delicious, we tried the Omelette and Roasted chicken sandwich. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The owner also loves talking about Vivaldi and tunes in the four seasons tunes, which was a delight to hear!
Today was our first visit and certainly not the last. The food was absolutely amazing, every dish very different, but delicious. Even the coffee was perfect. The owner was warm, welcoming and entertaining.
Great neighborhood bistro. Service was pleasant and he guided me towards a delicious white wine to pair with my salad/sandwich lunch. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time here and would return again. Food was delicious, light and well prepared. It's obvious that this place cares about what they are putting out and not trying to be anything they aren't. Very happy that we stumbled across them :)
Service was a little slow but this place has so much character, that it’s all worth it. The owner isn’t afraid to drop what he’s doing to check in on the soccer game or make crass jokes in front of new guests. He was proud of their homemade daily specials and paraded the plates in front of us as they came out of the kitchen. The restaurant seems to have a loyal Brazilian following for their pork and bean stew and young men would pop in for a quick standing espresso.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in SF, the food is amazing!
Just had an excellent meal at Noeteca. The service is fabulous, you’ll feel right at home straight away. We had the prosciutto pizza, with wine and the cheese raclette and the affogato for dessert. Will definitely come back! Strongly suggest you do too…
Amazing! Went back three times. The owner was lovely and kind. The best food I had all week while staying in San Francisco for a conference. A wonderful, relaxed atmosphere with beautiful music in the background.
Great cozy little wine shop with a no fuss kind of service, now that's rare! Amazing owner (?) who's just happy and proud to recommend us his food. And do trust his recommendations; I never really like Zinfandel but he recommended it and it was really tasty. I've also never had flambee before, it's mind-blowing how to thin they can be and still hold up their shape when lifted! And of course, delicious.
First time here. Had the baked Brie and the beef stew. SO good! Love the family vibe. Love this place!
Awesome place. Food was super good and friendly environment. We ordered the feijoada, crab cake and beet salad. No left over 😂. Adriana and her husband were very kind. We’ll definitely come back!
Never, ever disappointed. We bring our out-of-towners and they are always impressed and delighted.
Michael was warm, personable, and inviting from the first moment we walked in. A million places to eat in San Fran, But we came back to this place 2 times on our short visit. Home made food and fresh squeezed juice. The coffee and mone were amazing. 10/10. Highly recommend.
Great food and wine, owners cook and are super friendly. You can sit outside, inside is being remodeled
This is just the B E S T Brazilian food in the Bay Area. I’ve been to many Brazilian restaurants and this by far my favorite. The food is greatly seasoned, always flavorful, tastes like home and cooked with love. Adriana and her husband treat me so well every time I’m there and I feel so welcomed! My favorite meal is the ribs (costelinha) ❤️
One of THE best restaurants in SF! An amazing vibe, great homemade food (try the brazilian dishes!), and the kindest owners. My most visited restaurant in the whole bay. I eat here at least once or twice a week
EAT THE BEANS. This place should be called “Worlds best rice and beans! (wine too)” I love the food here, the portions are very generous and everything is meant to be shared. The owner not only tells you the specials but brings the dishes over to show you how good it looks. Lovely wine selection, A perfect place to meet a friend and have a long unhurried catch up. The spot is a neighborhood treasure
Adriana, she’s an amazing cook — everything she makes is absolutely delicious!
Noeteca has become my favorite Brazilian spot in SF. Every time I go, the food tastes exactly like home cooking from Brazil, which is something I really miss. Everything is fresh, comforting and full of flavor, and I love that I can always try a different dish and it still feels amazing. The service is incredible, especially because the owners themselves take such good care of you. They’re warm, welcoming and make the whole experience feel even more personal. I keep coming back because it’s one of those places where you can taste the care in every plate. Highly recommend to anyone who wants real, delicious Brazilian food in the city.
For a moment I felt like I was sitting in my grandparents kitchen and gobbling down their food. The atmosphere at Noeteca is uniquely inviting and intriguing and rustic. The menu at first glance looks simple but before you know it you discover a wide variety of food options and specials. You don't come here because you're looking for a fancy dining experience. No you come here because you want to feel like home and get good home cooked food that is nicely balanced and gives joy to your taste buds. We tried their endive salad ,chicken Cordon Blue and their special of the day the ribs. I really enjoyed the salad, the endives bitterness with the slight hint of the gorgonzola on very light vinaigrette dressing. Lovely ! The chicken Gordon Blue, tender and juicy and the garlic rice with side salad go very well with the chicken and balance it out. The ribs, yummy as they come right off the bone and the dry rub makes it pleasant to eat with your hands. The yucca, black bean sauce, rice and salad .. it's a hardy dish but not heavy either. I really enjoyed this place and the lively conversation with the owner. Well done guys
Noeteca is easily one of my favorite Brazilian restaurants in San Francisco. The food instantly makes me feel close to home with flavors that are warm, authentic, and comforting. Eating here feels like my mom is cooking for me. A wonderful spot that I keep coming back to.
The atmosphere was inviting ,soothing, and vivatious home like feeling. I am definitely going to have to revisit this spot. Full of love, positive vibes, beauty, and delectable quizine 🥰 It's a must that I go back again to visit soon!
Everything was amazing, but never have I been anywhere that I was so enthusiastically welcomed, as I was here. On my last day in SF we waited for them to open, so we could go one last time. I would have had a great time in SF if I didn't make it here, but going here i had the absolute best time ever. Michele- Thank you for talking with us and ensuring we had the best time! You are amazing and made the best food and coffee that kept me alert until oregon 🙂
A Hidden Gem of Authentic Brazilian Cuisine in San Francisco If you’re looking for real Brazilian food in the Bay Area, Noeteca is the place to go. In my opinion, it’s the best Brazilian restaurant around. The chef is from Minas Gerais—a region in Brazil known for its rich culinary tradition—and you can taste that homemade, soulful flavor in every dish. My family and I go there often to feel a little closer to home. The owners—an Italian man Michele, and his Brazilian wife, Adriana—have created a space that truly embraces the Brazilian community, both in the food and the atmosphere mixed with Italian tavern. The service is friendly and attentive, the food is authentic and delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. The ambiance is peaceful, with good music always playing in the background. You can also sit outside, which adds to the relaxed vibe. They offer fresh juices like orange, pineapple, and more. On our last visit, I had a delicious beef stew with yuca, rice, beans, and salad. We also tried the pork ribs with yuca, rice, beans, and salad, and a hearty beef lasagna served with rice, beans, bread, and salad. Every plate came with farofa, just like back home. Highly recommend for anyone craving real Brazilian comfort food.
Really a French/Brazilian restaurant with a name that is a play on words of a wine bar. I eat. I don't drink, so I cannot speak about the wine, but the food is fantastic and I never like French food before but now I do. But don't wait!!! They are thinking or retiring!!! Panic and get there. The bread and the garlic rice really compliment each other which seems unbelievable. I had the bettered cod fish which was wonderful. I will let my lunch guests write their own reviews. The affogato is like a Sunday and the coffee is the best in The City. Get there before they are gone.
Very pleasant experience, I think this place is highly underrated based on how many people were there on a Thursday night. This is a wonderful neighborhood spot and it was so affordable compared to other places in SF!
It's a family owned restaurant. Amazing people, and they give you great recommendations. The food is so tasty! They have famous dishes from Brazil and Italy, but if you are not into it, they have all kinds of American food as well. Oh, let's not forget the deserts, so good! Also, they have great wine recommendations as well. I love the ambient and how they treat their customers in a very special way. They speak English, Italian, French, Portuguese, and Spanish! Their prices are very fair for the great food that it's offered. You should definitely give it a try!
My first experience with traditional Brazilian cuisine! The owners are amazing 🤩 They really gave me a full experience! I learned about yuka and creamy espresso’s! Great selection of wine and did I mention service is excellent? The meal was a combination of beef and ribs with salad, beans and rice. There was yuka also, I’m not sure how it was cooked but it was delicious:) Desert was a chocolate mousse cake, that was decadent rich and creamy!
The food is phenomenal I love coming here the service is fantastic. Small and quaint perfect for a romantic evening or first date it’s a personal space. The owner is really nice and he really goes above and beyond to show pride in his business and food and it shows. Highly recommend this SF gem.
A hidden gem. The folks here are friendly and the food is sophisticated and delightful! If they have the spare rib special on the menu, don't miss it!
My brunch started with a smoke salmon plate $15. They were out of bagels so they gave me ciabatta bread instead. I liked how the plate came out and how I got to assemble my own smoked salmon sandwich with arugula lettuce, capers, cream cheese, glazed pearl onions, lemon juice, olives and pecans. This tasted great. I wasn't quite full yet, so I got the salumi plate $22. This was OK, not great. It had coppa, prosciutto and salami for the meats. The sour stuff like pepperoncinis, pickles and olives I didn't care for. I wish there were roasted nuts on this charcuterie plate. Regardless, good times. There's outdoor sitting. Perfect if it is a nice day.
Delicious bagel breakfast sandwich! Love that it comes with fresh fruit & salad.
Cozy little restaurant. The owner was very friendly, always singing and making happy conversations with everyone. Delicious handcrafted food. Great wine selections. Reasonable price. Great place to hang out for a nice quiet meal and great conversations over wine. (The house signature Tarte Flambée was bomb!)
The food was amazing! Adriana and her husband was so kind and sweet. We are definitely coming back again. Paula & Léo

Delicious fondue! One of the best I've ever had. They have good portions and the food is tasty. The owner was very friendly and provided an excellent service.

A very cute little cafe with great cheese, great bread. Reminded me of Europe. A girl friend and I chatted along well past our welcome – we were lounging for like 3 hours and slowly eating and chatting and the owner kind of just let us. It was a nice afternoon.
I feel like I have to add more to my 5 star rating. We discovered this place by accident. The sweet owner is the a great person.v very attentive. Food is great. You can sip some good wine while basking in the sun outside at a very reasonable price. Will go again for sure. Great vibes.

Nice cozy place. We went there for brunch, it offers a mediterranean style menu. Plates are well presented and tasty. Michele was very friendly with us. He also speaks a lot of different languages! The espresso is very good, not easy to find a comparable one around.
This place is adorable. It’s cozy, well-loved by locals, and serves wine at 4:30 on a weekday 😛 Two coworkers and I swung by to grab drinks and desserts after work. The place is cute and had most of their tables filled with patrons either dining solo or in pairs. The owner moved a solo eater to a corner table so we could take over a larger one. He talked us through their dessert offerings, highlighting two of his creations: the Rustico Nutella and the limoncello cheesecake. We ordered both, and my coworkers ordered glasses of wine to accompany them. The desserts came out, and wow that Rustico Nutella was great. Puff pastry with Nutella, chocolate sauce, diced bananas, and whipped cream is a delightful concoction. The owner explained that he originally tried to make a savory version of this dish, like a flatbread, but it wasn’t popular. He then pivoted to a dessert version, which seems like it was the right move. The limoncello cheesecake was good but not really a true cheesecake. It was more like a sponge cake with a limoncello cream cheese frosting in the middle and on the top. Tasty, but not quite the cheesecake I had in mind. Overall, a great casual neighborhood spot to grab some food, drinks, and dessert!
