Opinions de Peaches Patties San Francisco
Its an overlooked spot at Ferry building because it facing the main street instead of the main hall/sea, however it offer a peaceful corner facing the highrise buildings. The foods are delicious and greatly balanced, but wouldn't recommend for people who can't take a little bit of spicy at all. Highly recommended!!
We had the Jerky Chicken Meal and enjoyed it. Moderate spice and cooked to perfection. The meat wasn’t dry but tender. Good value for money.
Oh my goshness! Live on the east coast and wanted to try the Jamaican experience. Ordered the jerk chicken plate with rice and peas, plantains and side salad. Also ordered a beef patty. The food was amazing and authentic. Highly recommended. Oh yeah the ginger beer tasted extremely fresh and delicious.
Best Jamaican beef patty I’ve had tried to get more later and they were sold out and I don’t blame them. The hot sauce that is served with it is a flavor power house on it’s on must try.
Finally got to try Peaches Patties! I’ve heard so many good things about their food and it’s all true. I’m currently dog sitting so it was great that this place is outside the Ferry Building. It’s a small outdoor space, with an about 6 tables and three bar tables for standing. I got their patty meal, which is one patty of your choice, rice/beans, plantains, and sautéed veggies. It was the perfect lunch! I chose the curry chicken patty that was literally straight from the oven. I waited 10mins for it (there’s usually patties ready but unsurprisingly it was probably the more popular patties). It was worth the wait! The patty had a thin, flaky crust. The curry chicken was packed with flavor! The level of spice was perfect - definitely present but not overpowering. And the minced chicken was moist. The rice and beans had a gentle coconut flavor. The sautéed veggies were delicious! They balanced the flavorful chicken well without being bland. And they were tender so they still had a good bite to them. I love plantains, and their sweetness also added balance to the curry chicken. I definitely want to come back and try more patties!
Wow what an amazing meal! I’ve had plenty Jamaican food and this is as tasty as our favorite spot in Brooklyn. The jerk chicken was seasoned to perfection and so moist. The curried chicken patty when fresh and the best patty I’ve ever eaten. Loved them both and even grabbed some oxtails to take home for dinner. They had lots of veggie options too which is always nice. I’m praying this business stays-please support!
Peaches Patties are absolutely delicious! I had to eat them all! Beef is so juicy and tender, the chicken is blissful ,& I had the pleasure to try the New Mushroom patty! All of the patties are so delectable, flavorful and packing in some heat. In all the best ways! You have to try the Jerk sauce and the Hot Sauce!! The Pattie’s are amazing on their own but it’s sets off with some sauce!! To top it off Shari is the most beautiful human! She made the experience so special. Her lively personality and kindness brought so much comfort as I enjoyed all the Pattie’s! Yes all the Pattie’s!! It’s that good! This is a must try destination food!!!!
This place is incredible and it could easily be missed while visiting the Ferry Building. My wife and I have tried several items on the menu, which are all good, but we're especially into the paddies (no surprise given their name!). Their lentil is my favorite but the spinach is also quite good. In addition to the excellent food, they always have some great reggae music playing. The staff is also very welcoming. I have nothing but great things to say about this place. Give it a shot and I'm sure you'll be into it!
Found this Jamaican cuisine by searching for a quick spot to eat by the pier. The location is outside of the Ferry building. Excellent, authentic Jamaican food with all the right seasonings . The jerk chicken is excellent! The patties are delicious too! Highly recommend visiting. ☺️💯❤️❤️❤️
Beat affordable spot to grab super flavorful and delicious food at the Ferry Building. The lentil patty with a side of hot sauce will keep you full for hours. I hit this spot every time I’m down here.
We really enjoyed eating here twice now. Last time we had the jerk chicken meal which came with rice and vegetables. Flavours were so deep with a little kick we didn't even need the hot sauce. The sorrel (hibiscus drink also had deep flavours, this time of ginger).

This is my second time trying this place and the first time it was catered to a company I use to work for where we got parties and jerk chicken wings and going to the actual location this time the flavor is just as good as I remember it to be. The jerk chicken meal came with plantains which were sweet with a hint of tanginess and had crispy edges, the vegetables were curried that didn’t overpower the vegetable flavor and wasn’t mushy, the rice n beans comes topped with some jerk sauce, the chicken might not look the best but that jerk seasoning is hella bomb, if you like spice you would love this place. Also their Pattie’s are flaky, buttery, and full of flavor, the hot sauce they give you taste like a milder tobascco sauce.
The food itself is good, but be smart about how you order. The patty meal isn’t worth the cost in my opinion, due the small quantities of sides you actually get. It also doesn’t include rice and peas 👎🏿. Opt to pay one or two more bucks for the jerk chicken meal or order the patties individually. You’ll be more satisfied that way.
Jamaican patties, delicious, FRESH, family owned! Made with love! Absolutely delighted our group and I cannot wait to come back and visit at the ferry building location!!! Owners are delightful! Support this wonderful local restaurant!
The vegan stew was the best plant based meal we’ve had in recent memory. Good service; it’s best to order everything to go. The few tables are by the entrance; door traffic, noise, smog etc.
My fiancée and I got the jerk chicken plate, 2 beef patties and the Rasta stew via Postmates. Not only was the food STILL hot after being delivered but it literally made us stop and look at each other after the first bite. We were AMAZEDDD. The flavor! The tenderness! The portion size!! (Keep in mind this isn’t our first time eating Jamaican food either). I’m sad we didn’t get another order in before we left the city! When we come visit SF again, please know that we will be eating at Peaches Patties the entire time lol

The Highs: The filling in the curry chicken patty was tasty. The person serving it was friendly and we received the patty quickly. It was a convenient snack to share on our way to dinner. The Lows: I typically prefer a flaky crust on my patties. This did not have a flaky crust at all. It was still pretty good though. The In-Between: we stopped by while we were on our way looking for a ramen spot. It was a good experience overall. We shared a curry chicken patty. They have outdoor seating around the spot. It was a cool night but there were still people eating. It's a great spot for people watching.
So many choices at the Farmers market so it's hard to know which to try. I decided to stop here since there was no line and the reviews looked good. I opted for the chicken curry empanada. It had a little heat to it and was filled with stuffing. I was pleasantly surprised. The shell was slightly different then others I had but I'm glad I tried it. Worth a try!
Patties Peaches delivers a Caribbean delight with their beef and curry chicken patties! The beef patties burst with bold, savory spices, encased in a flaky, golden crust that’s perfectly crisp. The curry chicken patties are a flavor explosion, blending tender chicken with vibrant curry notes in every bite. Their jerk chicken meal is a standout—juicy, smoky, and spiced to perfection, served with authentic sides that transport you to Jamaica. Each dish showcases fresh ingredients and masterful seasoning, making every bite unforgettable. Patties Peaches is a must-try.
got a chicken curry patty and a beef patty. wow were they delicious. jam packed with meat. both patties were savory and well seasoned and the chicken curry even had a lil kick to it. eating them with hotsauce also contrasted well 🥰🥰🥰 oh and the crust was also super scrummy and flakey. only thing knocking off a star was the ginger beer, it was $5 and had a nice strong ginger flavor at first but then a strange aftertaste that kinda reminded me of beach water. otherwise super highly recommend the patties!! verrrry yummy and worth

Decent food! I ordered the jerk chicken plate and the beef patty. 1. The chicken was moist and had some decent flavor, although it wasn't as bold as I would expect. I'm used to jerk chicken being spicy, which I really like, but this one didn't seem spicy at all. Veggies were mid and the plantains were good. 2. The beef patty is essentially an empanada and it was pretty good! Ground beef, moist, and a good hint of spice. Prices are definitely Ferry Building prices, but it was fun to try. Everything is already cooked so you don't have to wait very long for you food.

Got lactose poisoning. Communicated five or more times to staff that I had lactose intolerance and that I could not consume milk. Staff asked if “coconut milk” was OK, which, of course, has nothing to do with lactose, and should have been my cue that maybe they didn’t really understand what I was talking about. When I ordered a “beef patty“ it was an empanada which had butter cooked into the crust.. Cashier had reassured me that she understood what I was talking about when I specified lactose intolerance, because she suffers from the same intolerance! Staff was apologetic after poisoning and tried to make things right but the only way I could see making this right is if they came out with some sort of dietary restrictions menu, or become better familiar with the food they sell so that they don’t inadvertently poison their guests. I am convinced that it was not malicious, and that this was 100% a simple mistake of incompetence. That being said, this doesn’t make my life any easier for the next 48 hours as my body struggles to process dairy poisoning. They also forgot about my order, but were quick to bring out the food once I reminded them. Two Stars for lack of organization, lack of dietary restrictions menu, and lack of familiarity with their own product and its dietary implications. It gives me no pleasure leaving this review, because I think the food was really good and the people quite friendly. If nothing bad had happened this probably would’ve been a five star review but something bad did happen and it is a learning experience for all.

I will be straight. The food here tastes like somebody not from the island trynna make island food. It’s not nasty. However if you are used to the real Jamaican flavor profile, you will not like this. Flavors here are fairly bland, no spice or heavy seasonings. It’s giving grocery store Rotisserie chicken or just baked chicken with some pre jerk seasoning on it. Try at your own risk
