Delicious Dim Sum in Town. The price was affordable & the portion was quite big. The service was fast and the waitresses were friendly. We ordered several dimsums such as shrimp dumpling, tofu, and shrimp w/ chive ball. Every menu taste good. U could ask for the chili oil, and there was sriracha taste. Plenty tables for u to seat and the resto was clean.

the food was amazing!! had steamed bbq pork buns, shrimp dumplings, lotus rice and chinese-style broccoli with egg custard buns for dessert, coming to $36 (excl. tax, grat + drinks) which i think is a great price for a 2 person meal! would come reguarly if i lived in the area :)

We gave a concert here 140 guests for the Association for Chinese Families of the Disabled (ACFD). Basically a reception first for 30 minutes, then one and a half hours and nine course menu. and then a two set concert of Voice Over Piano. The service was good and they weren’t disturbing the concert at all, as the mainly Chinese audience was also absolutely silent. Organizing the concert was easy with them as they really fulfilled all needed things and expectations. By the way: also, because everything next to the concert was so good [food and ambient and service) we could raise almost to the half thousand dollars for the good cause.

Wandering thru Chinatown town I was dream in by the delightful smells and feeling hungry. The dim sum options were easy to navigate in multiple languages (including English) and everything I ate I enjoyed! The Peking duck in particular was a stand out!

Warning ⚠️, They will charge a extra service Fee , plus 18 % on Tip. Choose other place. My ticket was $25 and the lady push it up to $39 , when I asked she told me because a extra charge of service for each people on our party 3 , plus a 18 % on Tip. I can pay $200 for a good dinner, but I don't like when places like this steal any dollar from you , adding imaginary fees.

It is next to other two Sim Sum places. Jackson street is the heaven for Dim Sum. Tea is $2.25 per person, higher than other two places. But their single item is cheaper than other two. Bathroom is kind of messy and old style. Service is okay. Food is good except Bee’s Nest Taro Puff which is kind sour.

This restaurant is a great spot for dim sum in Chinatown. There usually isn’t a line, even when I’ve come on a Saturday around lunch. The food was good and the service is pretty quick. The food is pretty good for what you pay.

Good dim sum place. Must try is the 酥皮奶黄包 better than the restaurant which is just next door,"Great Eastern ”

Typical Dim Sum, though a tad disorganized. The food is decent but not overly memorable, Service is ok, but not particularly attentive. The dining room is tired, restrooms are borrowed from a slasher flick. It's gritty and authentic, but given the number of options in the area, consider looking around. Tea was a diluted herb concoction. Cash is highly preferred, I don't know if they take credit cards. When in Chinatown, Dim Sum is a must.

Disappointed. Ordered chichen chow mein and chicken fried rice. Ordered a pork dim sum and bbq pork dim sum and tea. The food was fresh. But all lacked flavor including the tea. We were the only customers for 1/2 the meal then another couple walked in. Our service was quick. The place clean. The tip is part of the bill automatically(warning). But in this area, there are so many restaurants to select from...i'm guessing we picked the wrong one...

This place doesn't have the best dim sum, or the fanciest decor (closer to garish than stylish), or the most attentive service (on par with other Chinese spots), but it does everything well enough at a price that's not too crazy in tourist trap-laden Chinatown that it's not a bad place to eat if you really must have Chinese food in this area. I did enjoy their freshly fried rice puffs with minced pork (the best of any restaurant I have been to) and all the other dim sum standard dishes were decent. If you can get a server's attention, they provide efficient service for a good meal.

Food here is decent, but nothing "wow." They were very understaffed and there was only one waitress running around. For what you get, it's a bit overpriced - but that's also just Chinatown in general. Decor could use some updating - very dated.

Traditional Chinese restaurant offering dim sum located in Chinatown. Parking will be a challenge in Chinatown but the prices are affordable.

As others have said, food is ok, but they try to fiddle to card payments. I caught them out. Tourist trip and we were the only ones in their apart from a few Chinese people who appeared to be well known by the 2 staff Food was ok and came out in a reasonable time. When it came to the bill, the waitress moved the credit card machine to the screen where I needed to enter the PIN. I saw her add an extra 0 to my bill. Should have been $50.71. She typed in $507.10. I refused unless she went back to previous screen. She did but it just showed the tip amounts 15% or 20% or 25%. I asked to go back to the screen before and she them claimed she couldn't speak English and went to get someone else. What appeared to be the manager came out and did the same putting the screen on the PIN entry. I again asked to go back and she just kept saying tips are automatic and I have no choice. Of course I knew they weren't as I had seen them with the last person. Voices got raised. Things got heated when I refused to pay unless I could see the whole thing. In the end they gave in and as if by magic, the tips weren't automatic. Be aware of what their game is when you pay the bill. By the time you realise they've fleeced you, you'll probably be back home in another country.

The food in here was awful. Meals came 10 mins apart. The food is not edible, chicken smelt of fish. Staff friendly. Don't recommend here, got so much potential in a great spot.

WARNING!!! I went here this afternoon with my family(2adults and 2 children) and did not have a great experience. We ordered the steamed dumpling platter and the fried platter at $25 a pop. Too much for the mediocre food. We don’t have a problem paying good money for good food. We live off kbbq and Shabu shabu lol and always pay $120+. Money isn’t a problem when it’s worth it. The orange chicken order did not come with rice so we ordered the rice separately. $2 per order of rice, usually other places include rice when you order meat. Which btw we had to ask for twice because they didn’t bring it with our food that they had also taken forever to bring out to us. We paid our $78 check + a small tip. As we walked out she said they made a mistake on the bill and it was actually $120. I asked her to read me everything she was charging us for and when she did it added up to $104. But she had an additional $16 charge and she stated it as “the law”. I asked her to show me where it states it was the law to charge $16 then she explained it was a service charge so I asked her to show me where she has a notice letting consumers know she will charge a service fee and she couldn’t show me. I informed her it should be posted somewhere and most places charge a service fee for parties of 6 people or more. She then asked us “what country are you from?!” I informed her we are from L.A. and she said there’s no service charge in LA? She knew she wasn’t going to get her way And then told us ok fine don’t pay the service charge. We said ok fine and only paid the difference with some of the tip money we had previously left her. How dare she! Very rude and disrespectful human being.

Medicare food, bad service, ridiculous pricing. This place overcharged for everything and tried hiding it. Don’t waste your money and go to the other small businesses in Chinatown, atleast they’ll give you actual good/decent food even if it’s overpriced.

If I could, I would give a negative mark. I am 65 and it is the worst experience that my husband and I experienced. We waited 45 minutes to get our dishes after many request. Food was very bad . Moreover, the tip was automatically charged. Given the circumstances, we refused to pay it. They agreed, but at the end of the day, they charged it. The worst restaurant ever!

I never write reviews but the I feel like I have to for this terrible restaurant, like all the reviews say this place overcharged a ridiculous amount and included the tip without having any signs indicating that they automatically add it. The regular menu and dim sum menu was suspiciously hiding its prices. Normally with places worth the quality then the price will justify it but again like the reviews say the food was below average. Their service should’ve been a red flag for us not to eat there. Constantly ignoring us and going out of their way to give us the least amount of attention possible. I get it’s San Francisco and inflation is high but with how much you’re paying you would think the food is amazing. All these people saying this is an “authentic” experience are clearly trying to cope for eating at this sorry excuse of a restaurant. I usually love hole in the wall restaurants but in this case it’s just not worth it. Please go to the other Chinese restaurants and avoid this one at all costs!

I rarely have harsh reviews on restaurants and don’t want to be too negative for small businesses but how this restaurant runs needs to be exposed. First off they hide the dimsum prices and don’t show you what they’re charging you. In the end my meal ended up having an automatic 18 percent tip which they never indicated anywhere they do. The food itself isn’t special it’s just normal dim sum which doesn’t at all make the pricing worth it. Looking through all the other past reviews from years ago they have the same complaints which shows they’ve been able to get away with this and it needs to stop. The service was eh, the male server who seemed to be the manager was good at paying attention but the rest of the staff was ignoring me left and right. Definitely not worth an 18 percent tip! There are plenty of other places nearby to eat at so save the trouble and go there.
