Randomly came across this little place and had to try it, got the egg waffles and the daily special and it was all good :D definitely one of the better places I've had. Will stop by whenever in the mood for boaboa and in the area, staff was really awesome as well. At least try something from here once :)
Very popular local "has everything" Chinese dessert shop. Has boba, crepes, waffles, traditional Chinese sweets, even bingsoo (Korean saved snow) that's relatively well-layered! Orders are made fresh, so when crowded, waits for non-drink orders can take 10+ minutes. They do have a small upstairs seating area (where they can deliver non-drink orders upon request).
Delicious and generous portions of popcorn chicken and egg waffles.
The mango bingsu changed my life. Love this spot!
Amazing, amazing, amazing!!!! This food is so not overpriced, it's so cheap, even for San Francisco. I got a strawberry and banana crepe, french fries, and a regular sized passion fruit boba drink that completely made my night!! And only for $13! We'd just fine to this super bland ramen place and after walking for a bit ,decided to go in since they had a seating area, what a pleasant surprise to find that the food we ordered was delicious!! I'm stopping here again before I leave SF!
It was great and I really like their egg waffles. The crepes were really good. My favorite is the one with whipped cream, strawberries, and Mandarin oranges. You watched them make it right in front of you. It was also nice because there was a second floor with tables for me to sat at.
i really like their avocado boba here! it's very creamy, and you know they put in pretty much a whole avocado for your drink. there is seating upstairs, which is generally pretty empty. it's useful when you get snacks from this place.
Nice old school Cantonese desserts. Their ginger milk curd is delicious, so are the grass jelly drink (if you like herbal flavors) and double skin milk. Many of these are hard to find in sf and they do a great job here.
I was looking for a delicious boba tea! There were several places along Chinatown. Some didn’t seem that they used prime ingredients, some were too expensive, but just like Goldilocks and the Three Bears, this place was JUST RIGHT!! I got the green tea with fresh organic grapefruit. The boba was included in the $6 price for a large drink! I enjoyed it to the last drop and even ate the grapefruit. It was so very delicious and fresh! I would come back again on my next visit!! By the way, the owners who made the drinks themselves were so friendly. Thank you!!
The food was 10/10, ordered 4 items for $43 and stayed for over an hour. Arrived at 10:58, waited for him to open, then hit right away as he opened at 11 AM. He works very hard, he was alone in the kitchen through all of it. My order took so long that a line started to form and my friends and I felt so bad. It was all amazing, I dream about his food and this shop. If I lived in SF, I would come here every day. Came back later that day right before he closed at 8 and he closed up while we were waiting inside. Ordered another $30 worth of food and he didn't remember us until he was told we were the people with a big order from this morning. Well, we all ordered separately so all 4 items in the pic were mine and I killed it all within 45 minutes. TL;DR, this guy deserves the world. 1000% recommend Also good quality napkins
I ventured into this place with hopes of savoring authentic Asian desserts, and while my overall experience was normal, I want to share some additional details. This sweet haven is tucked away in a small shop nestled in Chinatown. Upon arrival, I realized that the service process here is quite peculiar; you take your order yourself and then simply wait for it to be delivered to you. We opted for the Oreo Bingsu and the Nutella crepe, two choices that promised to satisfy my sweet cravings. However, the wait to receive our order was longer than expected, almost 20 minutes, despite the place not being particularly crowded. This aspect could be an inconvenience for those in a hurry, although personally, I found the delay to be an opportunity to enjoy the diversity of Asian treats adorning the cozy space. What makes this place interesting is that, despite its small size and unique service approach, the desserts showcase an authenticity and quality worth highlighting. Additionally, I appreciate the attentive attitude of the staff, even though most of them are older individuals. In summary, this is a charming corner in Chinatown where you can take your own order, immerse yourself in the atmosphere of Asian sweets, and enjoy authentic flavors in a peculiar setting.
What a fun snack and dessert shop! I enjoyed the hot grass jelly with all the condiments (red beans, small and large bobas) and grapefruits tea with bob. Staff is friendly and no wait during weekdays. Will try the home made sesame ice cream next time. Supposedly sesame has antioxidant, anti inflammatory, heart healthy, and improve hair effect
We ordered couple of snacks and they’re really good, most especially the chicken poppers and even the milk tea.
Stumbled upon this cute cafe in the middle of Chinatown. They have a good number of options for tea, boba and snacks. My friends loved the cookies and creme smoothie with boba. It was decent and quite affordable.
The HK milk tea boba is great. They also have a whole bunch of other foods and desserts. Worth a stop. If you do visit, just go ahead and go to one of the tablets and order through their electronic system.
I will literally be stopping at this cafe every time I am in SF. Their taro milk tea is unique with creamy taro and boba; it was perfectly balanced! I enjoyed trying their coconut egg puffs or I think they call them bubbles, but it's like a delicious pancake tasting treat with more subtleness and a little crunchy flake between bumbles. I ate it way before I thought of taking a picture of my food, I am sorry! The female owner was kind and helpful, infact she recommends the Taro as my milk tea choice, and wow was she right!
Friendly staff and fast service! Curry fish balls + passionfruit tea with Boba.
I ordered the avocado smoothie with pearls and it has a well deserved spot on their top 10 list! Their passion fruit slushie with pearls is also delicious! The chocolate and original egg waffle is good as well, but if I were to order it again I think I'd go with just the original flavor. All in all, I'm very happy with my visits to this Cafe and I would definitely recommend going!
The generous portion and rich flavor transported me back to the bustling streets of Oakland Chinatown. If you’re a milk tea enthusiast, this spot is a must-visit.
Really great for 9PM dessert craving in San Francisco on a Sunday night!!! When one is from out of town, it becomes difficult to search for good dessert places, especially when one is seriously having a sweet tooth! Definitely recommend this place! I got the matcha smoothie (no pearl) and the chocolate egg waffle (plain)...hit the spot!!!

Best spicy popcorn chicken I’ve had and really good waffles too. Be prepared for a 20 minute wait during peak hours because rest assured, they’ll fry your chicken and make your waffle fresh to order, and I’d rather wait 20 minute for a fresh batch of fried chicken than get a reheated chewy one in 5 minutes. The boba teas are pretty good too.

super long wait time. but the coconut egg waffle was amazing. they let us get ice cream samples. their black sugar boba was okay.
The creamiest taro boba tea I’ve ever had, it was so good! My girlfriend also got the guava tea, which was quite good. Can also recommend the takoyaki.
Busy little shop that serves up delicious bingsu and boba milk tea. We used the self service kiosk to order and that really helped since we could take our time to customize our order and decide what else to get. We settled on the green tea bingsu and the strawberry milk tea. The milk tea was smooth and refreshing and the bingsu was flavorful and fun to eat.
I really like their Taro smoothie, I was able to get it less sweet and the self ordering kiosk makes it fast and easy. I wonder how’s their egg biscuits? Will try it next visit.
I had a ginger milk which is served hot. It took a lot of time to make but there were 4 to 5 people ahead of me. The day was hot so there was a line. My ginger milk also takes a while to solidify and boy was it worth the wait. Spicy, sweet and warm. The shop can make food, or serve you ice cream, candies, bingsu, boba and more. Considering how small the footprint is, it's pretty amazing. However there is no place to sit. You have to type in your own order. And it has no sense of decor or style. If you are okay with all of that, this place is for you. I thought it fit the bill for me.

Crowded and compacted location. The layout crowds everyone into an aisle and is not clear who is waiting to order and who is waiting to pick up their order. They seem to sell almost anything: drinks, ice cream, snacks, and lotto scratchers (and maybe even tickets)? There's also a rude underage kid (???) that seems to work or helps out here? The egg puff was not bad albeit a tad on the pricey side at $3.99 each.
This place is ok, I've come twice so far. Decent place for egg waffles...but I can't recall if egg waffles usually cool down as fast as they do here. I came to post this review to remind myself and everyone that plans to go here, don't get the strawberry milk tea. I pray that you don't have to experience this drink like I had to. The color was crazy artificial as well as the taste. I had a flashback of the liquid medicine we had to take as children except it was milky. Please save yourself by getting something else unless this is what you're after. The previous visit I had a grapefruit green tea and their sign says that they use organic grapefruit juice and they put in a grapefruit slice in their drink. It was bitter for me but maybe cuz I ordered it with less sugar. Order with low expectations. You can pay with cash, go up to the register and call for someone to take your order. Prices are reasonable here. I think flavored drinks are $5.50 and the boba is included. The grapefruit green tea was $5 with boba included. Other toppings are an additional $0.75. If you think they are taking a long time with your order and you used the kiosk outside, you should check in with them. Sometimes the orders don't go through due to their wifi (happened to me the first time I went). Make sure to print your receipt.

I used to love this place... One of the few places that makes Sago drinks. Unfortunately, over the years, service has become terrible. The woman behind the counter was not happy that I asked why we had to wait 15 minutes to get a drink made and why other people were served ahead of us. The also only list prices for their toppings but there is no mention how much the base drinks are. Prices have been crossed out on posted signs.
Waited hella long for a mediocre bubble waffle and a milk tea that brought my blood sugar up to 400
I ordered the mango bingsoo, which took a very long time for them to prepare despite the ice not being shaved fresh and the shop only having a single customer at the time. They seemed to be distracted while preparing the dish, leaving ingredients sitting there for several minutes, which is alarming for a frozen dish that melts quickly. Overall, the taste was not bad, but the shaved ice was expensive for what I got. I've never heard of or experienced a bingsoo shop that uses scoops of pre-shaved ice rather than shaving it fresh, and it definitely detracted from the texture and experience.

The drinks are okay but the service is horrible. We ordered the ginger milk with other drinks and waited there for at least 15 mins if not more. Only two people ahead of us. We asked the staff there to see how much longer it will take for the ginger milk to be ready. The lady just very impatiently replied saying it is not settled but if you can’t wait, I will just give it to you. We recommended they can note the wait time for this particular drink on the menu next time. The lady just turned her back and told us everyone know it takes time. Wont let this bad experienced ruin our day but want to warn people so you dont go through the same experience.

Service was extremely slow. The teen boy making the drink called my number and then didn’t give me my drink for so long until his dad or coworker came by and told him to give me my drink. The drink itself wasn’t that great either and the boba was overdone. Not worth the excessive wait time! Perhaps the food is better or it’s better when other employees are working?
I ordered double skin milk (双皮奶), as a person who come from the area which this dessert is originated from, I had to say this is nothing like the authentic double skin milk. More like milk powder and Gelatin made milk pudding. The material used and the cooking process are both wrong (not authentic). I would advice, if this is not the item, then don't name it that way, please.
The worst boba order I ever experience. Ordered through UberEATS, the apps saying the food is ready but its not, I have to wait another 37 mintes until its ready and the server keep saying 5 minutes (every 5 minutes), it took 1 hour from the time I order until the food is ready. The server is rude and the popcorn chicken is barely cooked. I order 2 popcorn chicken and 1 boba, how hard is it to make? My kids was late for basketball game because of them.
i waited ~10 min for a matcha latte. i was the only one in the store & there were two employees. i mean, benefit of the doubt, maybe they had a bunch of online orders? but i highly doubt it. it didn't seem like it. so i thought ok, this should be the best matcha of my life... omg it was terrible! tasted like... soap water? they tried to tell me it's because i got almond milk. i get almond milk all the time, i drink a ton of matcha. they offered to make me another but i really wasn't keen on waiting another 10 minutes. i just threw the drink away instead. a huge waste of almost $7! went down the street to lady luck café, where the matcha was bomb 💣
Rude customer service, and the sign outside said 15 Fish balls for $5. However, if you order on the iPad instead of talking directly to the worker, it is $6.25 and only comes with 12 fish balls.
it’s a good spot for grabbing something and then walking away. Unfortunately, what I chose to grab was not that great, the popcorn chicken here is really really really bad, ridiculously overpriced and the meat is such low quality that I was only able to take three bites before deciding the entire bag was not worth it. The portions are really big and generous, but it doesn’t really matter when the food is that awful and inedible.
I order a coconuts egg puff, popcorn chicken and sweet tofu with ginger syrup. The coconut egg puff was soggy and it has green stuff inside which was odd. The popcorn chicken had so much flour covering you’re pretty much eating dough. They try to chip you by putting a lot of fried dough bits that not edible at all. The sweet tofu that hasn’t been cured. They don’t know how to make anything at all. It used to taste better last year. I waited a long time for my food and there people who order after me got their food. This old women ignore me when I ask about my order. Don’t come here guys .The food was overpriced and you get food that taste and looks like trash. I rather spend $20 at McDonald’s . There’s no seating area by the way.

Very dusty store, you can see it caked on the walls and light fixtures above their prep areas. The boba was undercooked, pretty disgusting. Your much better off at another shop
