Romantic, intimate location with style. Amazing, customer oriented service. We walked in on Thursday evening, with a reservation and we’ve got seated right away. The waiter approached us immediately with water and ready to answer any qs we might have. Great collection of unique cocktails 🍸 well done too! And the food... just amazing! The main dishes had a good size and were super delicious! My husband absolutely loved his pan seared scallops ♥️

Who the heck knew the Cavalier had a dope breakfast menu?! We found ourselves downtown early in the morning and the restaurant we thought was opened was actually closed so we were looking for a last minute place to eat and we noticed the Cavalier was opened so we went in. Prices are to be expected for a restaurant attached to a hotel so there's that but it was more than worth it. Service was spot on and the food.. .Wow. Just didn't expect it. I usually come here for drinks and bites after work and I know that's always amazing, but yeah. If you ever need a quick breakfast and you're downtown and lost go to the Cavalier. For real

Exceptional experience all around for our party of four. Start with the Smoke Deviled Eggs, they are incomparable; just make sure you get everything with a bite for the full experience. The Brussels Sprout Chips remind me of the former Longbranch Saloon in Berkeley. Delicious, a little difficult to eat with a fork. I had the Marlowe Burger, and it was excellent all around. (A shareable burger is also on the menu.) The Pork Tenderloin is exceptional. The Fries are unparalleled. Service is warm and friendly, matching the warm interior. Give yourself 90 minutes to enjoy the experience. We’ll be back.

This is a hidden gem that makes you want to return again and again. Tonight’s meal was very sincere, with rich flavors that weren't overwhelming; the chef has clearly worked hard on the recipes. The ambiance is stylish yet warm. Service-wise, it was textbook—attentive and quick. The portions are very large, ensuring you leave completely full. It’s great to see the quality getting better and better. Whether for the taste or the environment, it’s worth a special trip. Highly recommended!

Great food! We were here visiting for a conference and stopped in to try some local cuisine. The restauraunt while small serves excellent food. The staff seemed a bit spread thin/busy and missed my drink, but the food was still delicious. No doubt having an extra server on hand would help but the food was so good that it is worthy of a 5 star review. Not from the area but I will be returning the next time I'm in town!

November 5 th 2025 I went in yo get a ceasar salad but I had salmon and grilled shrimps to it and I bought two beverages one glass of sprite and lemonade it all came out to $46.00 total but everything was good the salad was delicious made beautiful.

I had the Burrata cheese with honey and walnuts to start — it was absolutely delightful. The creamy burrata paired perfectly with the sweetness of the honey and the crunch of the walnuts, creating a beautiful balance of flavors and textures. Found Soma close to my hotel and it didnt dissapoint! Pulled a chair up to the bar and had apps and a pizza and wine. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff we’re friendly and courteous, and the bartender Basil was a great guy.

Chef, Baris, creates culinary magic in his kitchen. The Spinach Ravioli was heavenly pillows of sage infused exquisiteness. The Penne with Vegetables was fabulous at first bite and just got better. Service by Veysi was so sweet and attentive. We recommend this restaurant to anyone who will listen. We will definitely be back.

Top 3 favorite bars in SF. This place has good food, good drinks, and good deals during happy hour. The location is convenient for an after work drink. The bartenders are always friendly and accommodating. There are two TVs usually playing top sports games. There is parking around the corner but the bar is also close to Bart. Definitely recommend for a professional/casual gathering. 10/10

The Honey Burrata was so good, it was definitely worth it. The margarita pizza was also absolutely fantastic. My friend had the spinach ravioli, that was amazing as well. However he got grilled chicken on top of that, the chicken wasn't that great. I feel like there just wasn't much flavor to it and really didn't add anything to the meal. With the conference going on, it was a little loud. However the atmosphere was easy to get around and it felt good and open and it really was easy to get around even though there was so many people there.

I had the beef/lamb hamburger. When I mentioned I didn't want bread they put it in the most awesome lettuce wrap for me. The vegetables were beautiful and the taste was magnificent. I had the house wine it wasn't full body but it sure did pack a punch and was very fruit forward. The cheesecake looked and tasted marvelous. Everyone enjoyed their meal.

The salmon plate was good. My peer had the steak and he said it did not taste as good as expected. It could be missing the red wine pairing. They help calculate the gratitude of 18% and include it on your bill so you won’t need to do any calculations.

We stayed at the Pickwick Hotel and wanted to find a sophisticated place to take my husband to celebrate him. We came early so to go to a show and we ordered dinner and dessert. I enjoyed my scallops but it was more salty than expected. For the price it was a tad on the expensive side but it was a special occasion and the waitstaff were attentive at taking our plates. No bread, no small talk, the highlight is the food. The art work was hunting English men on horse and plaid.

Wow! What a nice place. I meant to give higher stars, but we went on the wrong night. The whole bar was reserved for a private party and we didn't have reservations, sniff. So the Cavalier isn't really a drop in place, unless you sit in the bar area. It was beautiful, cozy and warm inside. We will try again!!

We visited with a large group and were seated in a private dining room. The room's decor was impressive, resembling a cave, though it was a bit too dark for my taste. A bar setup in the room ensured attentive service. The meal was a set menu, and I opted for the salmon as my main course. While it was perfectly cooked, it lacked flavor. The crispy Brussels sprout chips were excellent, especially when paired with alcoholic drinks. The deviled egg, topped with a small piece of jalapeño and bacon, was unremarkable and not spicy. The wine selection was excellent. If you visit the bar, I recommend the chicken nuggets, which pair well with scotch. The main entrance bar was beautifully decorated and spacious. It’s worth a visit, but the food didn't particularly impress me tonight.

Nicely decorated British style nice restaurant. A little noisy but we liked it. There was a strange taste in dressing of Caesar Salad but in overall we are happy Thank you for the nice evening

Appetizer was good but the main dish was really disappointing, from the food to the presentation. It looks like a take away dish from some Mediterranean restaurant not a $45 rack of lamb dish I would expect from an English restaurant. Drinks were good too. Overall I would not come back for dinner but maybe cocktails. Btw the bill was for 2 ppl and we only got 1 entree.

We told the restaurant it was our friend’s birthday, expecting at least a small dessert or some kind of gesture. Instead, they brought out an empty plate with a single candle stuck in the middle. No cake, no treat — just a candle on a bare plate. It honestly felt lazy and disrespectful. If that’s how they handle special occasions, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking to celebrate anything.
