Tacobar on Fillmore Street has a pleasant upbeat atmosphere. My husband and I both ordered fish tacos, mine with batter on it (see photo) his not. We were both happy. The flavors were complex and delicious. I'll go back here.

I've eaten there once during the evening after dark. I had a little hard time communicating with restaurant staff. But it's in a nice neighborhood with lots of nice looking folks.

In my search for a good Baja fish taco place, I stumbled across tacobar and was happy to see that they use local cod instead of tilapia, which has a flavor I dislike. I ordered the Baja fish bowl, and we tried the Veracruz fish taco, short rib taco, and lamb quesabirrias. On paper, it all sounds really good, but in reality, it was overall so-so. The Baja fish was definitely the best thing we ordered, and pretty tasty, but the horseradish crema on the short rib didn't do it any favors, and the lamb was on the dry side. For how much everything cost, I don't think I would get anything except the Baja fish tacos.

Sorry but this place is a rip off :( $16 for 2 tacos (with tip) and they charge you for chips and salsa? Grotesque. The tacos were ok. But certainly not worth $8 each all included.

Not very good. I ordered carne asada but received shredded beef instead, which was not good. I wish they had said they don’t have carne asada when I ordered it. Chips and guacamole were pretty good.

Burrito with shrimps - completely cold, oversalted, shrimps cold and overcooked, all fillings are not fresh, taste bad. It is garbage, waste of money.

Picked up some tacos to go and a shrimp burrito, the burrito ended being ice cold like it was stored in a fridge and made days ago. Tacos were not fresh either, not the sauce. Idk what happened to this place but I will never return. Bummer!

I'm easy to please. That place is a rip off. Once was enough. I got nachos with carnitas to go. Barely any meat. About 1/3 of that was a huge chunk of fat with grizzle. Chips were middle-school-lunch grade. A slight stale taste to something. Smallish portions. I understand that part of town is expensive but the product was not not even medioce. I was hungry and did not finish the smallish portion. Macdonalds would have been better. A complete waste of time and money.
