Taqueria SF has the best burritos ever! It’s hard to say what’s so good…it just is! Keep it up guys!
The best. I have been going here since I was a child. My Friday night treat. It will fatten you up though but you will enjoy!!!!!!
Excellent customer service! Really good burritos and tacos! But the best are the free chips and salsa!!
Amazing food and such a good spot! Meat is always flavorful and tender, and the composition of the burrito is perfect. Service is always kind and the wait is never long.
Order the super tacos, you won't regret it. The prices are super reasonable. Some of the best tacos I've had in the city. The staff is always smiling, no matter what time it is, it really brings joy to my day.
I've been going here for nearly 20 years. They have a great selection of meats, good salsa, and hefty portions. I haven't gotten it in a long time, but their quesadilla suiza used to be made with a carne asada steak, rather than chopped up meat. Highly recommend.
The best thing in this place : carnitas! They are tender and delicious, not too crispy (greasy). The tacos are served with a delicious and proper salsa. The service is great too and probably cheaper than a lot of the overrated taquerias in The Mission. Recommended!
This place has my favorite of favorites burrito! (Super burrito de carne asada). The super nachos are simple the best I have ever had, no other place that I have tried has beaten it. They are loaded with stuff (meat, yellow cheese, avocado, jalapeños, sour cream, pico de gallo), and you even need more chips by the time you are finishing it to scrape some of the remaining cheese and toppings. The salsa and pico de gallo are super tasty. Maybe it doesn’t look trendy but quality is definitely there and the staff are friendly. My fav spot :)
Great fresh tacos. Excellent destination stop to anchor your Calle 24 food tour. Bravo!
Passing by? Hungry? This is definitely worth the stop. I got two of the shrimp super tacos (camarones) and my wife got a chorizo and al pastor super taco. 2 tacos is about right for a nice lunch. Seasoning is awesome, tacos are delish but messy. Get napkins.
Really good salsa. Very good carnitas- a little crispy. Great burrito, both because they grill the tortilla and put avocado in it instead of guacamole. Taco was large with a lot of meat.
YUM! This is an authentic food spot with authentically delicious food. I'd be here every day if I lived nearby, worth a stop! We had the veggie burrito and it lasted us lunch and dinner!
I've been going to this Taqueria for the past 13 years and I have never once in my life had a better burrito than that of Taqueria San Francisco. I recommend it 100%. There is something there fro everyone! :)
This place!!! Everything was perfect. The murals in the building and surrounding area, the aroma, the sounds of spatulas "tink tink" on the side of the grill, the smell of onions and garlic. The cilantro and Meat juices- the cheese a d avocado. The pictures I submitted for this review were sent over two years ago, but I still remember how I felt when I walked into this location. They met me where I was and took me on the journey steps further! Did you see my photo's? How the Queso in the burrito was evenly dispersed? How it stretched from one side of the bitten burrito to the other waiting to be consumed again from the second bite. Putting your mouth on something to digest is very intimate in so many ways. And the expected ambrosia of flavors that are combined with the way you chew are all apart of the bigger picture. Sitting in this restaurant in the heart of the mission district was eclectic. Do yourself a favor. Bookmark this spot and visit on a monthly bases if that works within your budget. Wash is all down with an ice cold brew and relax with them trance of bliss that your minds eye will thank you for later.
Kind of pricey, if you compare to cheaper taquerias in the area, but best quality meat and service. Real homey feel there are quite a few regulars that show up to chat with the owner and workers, my dad is one of them. I stopped visiting places like El Farolito when this place came about. They don't stay open super late but if you have the chance GET THE CHORIZO!!!! Shrimp cocktails are bomb too. Watch out for their salsa if you're not a chile fan
Everybody wants to go to El Farolito or La Taqueria....and they're missing this jewel on 24th street! Tacos are one of the best in town, the primos working here are super cool, always adding extra salsa, or chips or whatever they feel like it. Love this place and I will keep on supporting it until covid do as apart! ✌Stay fuerte amigos!
The service was good and it was nice I like it I got burrito al pastor excelling ingredient fresh and you can feel all the flavors on your palate when you eat delicious I love it I totally recommend it
I on 24th because I wanted to see first hand the big sinkhole that had developed overnight taking the entire intersection and 2 buildings to deeper parts of the planet. I couldn't get close enough because the fire department had the area closed off, but I was able to get to Taqueria San Francisco and had some amazing pork tacos! This little taqueria is perhaps one of the best taquerias in the city! I've eaten at so many different Mexican restaurants in SF, and for that matter...California from Crescent City to Bakersfield, and the barbacoa pork tacos from Taqueria SF on 24th is right up in the top 5. They're worthy of a cross-town trek! 5 ☆☆☆☆☆
Delicious carne asada and al pastor tacos! Their salsa packs flavor and a decent amount of heat. Their sandia agua fresca is perfect to me; the right amount of sweet! The place seems a little run down and could really use a remodel. Music could really liven up the place. The service was friendly and the food was served fast. Cant wait to come back and try other dishes, like the chile relleno burrito.
All good — make sure you bring cash.
Tacos really good. Get the drinks, higher quality than a lot of other places

CASH ONLY, Old and it definitely needs some tlc but it has heart. Great Burrito and Nachos. Pet friendly as long as you’re responsible, they didn’t have an issue with us but I’d say it’s a case by case basis. Definitely will come back. Reliable taste.
The best tasting meat you could ever try in your burrito, taco, nachos, you name it… best kept secret in the Mission. Cash only but so worth it every ingredient has its own sazón layering your dish with distinct flavors. If you are from the mission you know what I’m talking about more affordable than the other over priced spots price gauging on the customers because of gentrification they have friendly service always everything is fresh aguas are refreshing or have a beer and watch a soccer game they close by 8pm🙌🏽😋
This place has the best. Super fish tacos in the mission. The chicken burritos are good too. Because they make them with chicken and a red sauce. They also have some really good vegetarian options. Oh, yeah, I also always order a super shrimp taco. I'd like to sit here and eat and people watch Cash only
The freshest and cleanest burritos in San Francisco. Why this place is special: all ingredients come right off the grill or stovetop not a steamer tray, all ingredient are perfectly cooked and seasoned (no bland rice or beans here), great fresh salsas, all burritos finished the grill so you get a perfectly toasted tortilla. For me it’s the best burrito in the Mission District and a no frills taqueria that’s all about the food. Also run by 3 generations of the same family.
Always great food. They only take cash so be prepared but there are atms nearby. The staff turns out the orders very expeditiously and I don’t think I’ve ever had a meal I wouldn’t give at least a 4/5. The only negative I’ve ever had there are one night we went right at closing and my chicken was a little dry (but it’s closing-what do you expect) and one time they made my tacos regular when I ordered super tacos. But overall I’m glad they’re down the street so when the bf and I are too lazy to cook we easily get bomb food.
My childhood Taqueria, #1 to me. We love their food everything is so delicious. The burritos, tacos na hos and quesadilla suizas are my family favorites. It is family owned, they have great, and fast service. The taqueria is always clean. The food is perfect not greasy like every other taqueria around.
Had a taco de asada, so good! The salsa is amazing! So hot just how I like it. My sis had the carnitas tacos, she said they were good. Little guacamole with the chips was good too. Man at the register was very nice. Taco was big, it was worth the price.
This spot has become a go to lunch spot for me. Great food. Classic taqueria vibes. Friendly staff. Bring cash.
If you're in the mood for Mexican cuisine, look no further! This restaurant offers outstanding service, with waitstaff that goes above and beyond to make your dining experience exceptional. The food is authentic and mouthwatering – their salsa has the perfect kick, and the mole is to die for. The ambiance is lively and vibrant, with colorful decor and upbeat music. It's the ideal spot for a fiesta with friends and family!

90% of my visits I get a carnitus burrito, the other 10% I get the carnitus quesadia. The quesadia is much easier to consume while driving. Burritos require two hands and that's difficult to accomplish while driving and texting. I always come here for my carnitus fix.
This place has pretty great Mexican food and was once voted the best burritos in San Francisco. The food can sometimes take too long to make, but is usually pretty delicious. They serve beer and usually have a soccer game on, so the wait isn't too bad.
The burritos aren't gigantic, but they pack in plenty of meat, so if you're feeling carnivorous, this is a perfect burrito place to hit up. Beware that the food comes spicy by default, with chunks of jalapeños hiding everywhere, so if you can't handle that you better say something when ordering. This place is situated on the corner in a cool little spot in the mission across from this nice little theater that I keep swearing I'll go to someday. It's clean and decorated with I think every single panoramic photo of the golden gate bridge in existence. Sit down and enjoy a soccer game on the tv with your spicy, meaty burrito.
Pretty good taqueria option which will meet your burrito needs. My favorite bit of a Taqueria SF meal is their salsa for the free chips that come with your order - so chunky and spicy and delicious. The burritos are big and tasty and packed with meat (carnitas is especially good), but don't jump out as any better than most other places on 24th.
Solid Mission taqueria fare. The chicken tastes fresh and relatively unmarinated. The ambiance is slightly better than most taquerias. The wall is packed with pictures of the Golden Gate bridge, and there's a nice corner table looking out onto 24th street. I like their logo.
Good burrito. I like the al pastor. I wasn’t blown away, but I would definitely come back. The salsas were great and chips were surprisingly different (in a good way). The atmosphere is too casual — there really were no customers in there when we went.
A Mission District original. Great Mexican food -- tacos, burritos, quesadillas (the one I had); and spicy salsas to boot. Small but it does what the body needs -- yummy food and a quick pace. You can sit inside, or take it to go -- it is all good! #TheBrokerWithAHeart
No nonsense place for finding some of the best tacos in the bay area. Chorizo tacos are my fav.

If I eat out for lunch in my neighborhood,, I usually go to a taqueria and get 2 or 3 tacos. This spot is on my list. Tasty al pastor. No line! Been there forever.
Food was okay not to bad. I felt the meat needed some more flavor. I also didn't like that every bite was sour. Sour because they use pickeld salsa. Staff was nocw and friendly
Simple, good Mexican food. You'll get your money's worth here, and the meats in the dishes are all top quality. Decor is typical "taco shop"
This is one of my two favorite burrito places in the city. NOT ANYMORE. This place has lost its touch. The meat is flavorless, they skimp on the avocado, and the beans were dry. Sorry, but walk up the street further the Guadalajara...now that's a good burrito with flavor that stands on its own.
Hello, this is place is pretty good, but their prices are over the roof. I got tacos de cabeza and paid $7.50 per taco. That is insane
The service is terrible woman in charge of pick up orders is rude over charges for extra salsas doesn’t know how to greet won’t even ask you if you need a receipt after you pay.

Yeah I used to go there seems like they started putting a lot less meat and cheese in all there food.
They only accept cash, way over priced I ordered 3 chicken tacos for almost $20 bucks, over 5dlrs each. The tortillas were cold!! For that price I spectated something way different!!!!
