The food and the service are amazing. The male servers are 🔥 lit. Oppa central. Paid $80 for two people on a weekend. Delicious 🤤
Liked 👍. Very thick slices of beef tongue—loved it. Will definitely come back again.
A really great place to enjoy the different types of meat that are provided in this spot the cooking tops changed often so meat doesn’t stick. 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This KBBQ spot has been our go-to ever since we moved to the area, and it never disappoints when it comes to flavor. The meat quality is really good, with so many options to choose from, and the sides are just as impressive. I love that they even have a buffet-style area for sides, so you can grab more of your favorites whenever you want. Service can vary depending on the day and how busy it is. On slower days, the servers are very helpful and attentive. On peak days, expect a wait sometimes 45 minutes to an hour and you may need to flag down a server when it’s packed. Still, that seems to come with the territory for a popular KBBQ spot. Overall, the food is consistently delicious, and I also love the restaurant’s name which can translate to “Cow County” or “Beef County.” Very fitting for a place that delivers solid Korean BBQ every time. Definitely worth checking out if you’re craving good KBBQ 🔥🥩
Just wanted to find an easy going dinner after a long at the slopes. After deciding against waiting 2 hours at another location, we stumbled across this restaurant. Best decision ever. Was immediately seated, met with a waiter and food came out not even 10 minutes after. Service was consistent throughout the dinner and quality of meat is pretty high for an AYCE. It’s a large selection of meats with unlimited sides. The fact that an adult price is only $37.99 is crazy to me and I found my new go to spot.
I went to visit and try the San Gabriel Valley location @ookooksangabriel.official this past weekend. It's an All You Can Eat Korean BBQ spot. It's pretty spacious and they do have a food bar of sides as well as vegetables to cook. It's definitely a pretty good deal for $36.99 a person. I think we had four rounds of orders and finally gave up. We definitely left there feeling satisfied and rolled our way out. #koreanbbq #ayce #sangabrielvalley #mediatasting #foodislife #meatlovers #foodblogger #tintinbeligan
AYCE was $37pp adults. It’s in an affordable range and there was good meat serving. This location has a snack bar for side dishes too (which doesn’t exist in the KTown location). We went on Sunday lunch time and it’s full of people. Most of the tables if not all were taken. The service was good despite many people. Trays were changed freqently and orders were processed fast.
They’re open for dine in! The service was great. They’re very friendly and attentive. All the sides and meats are AYCE. The spicy octopus was surprisingly good, definitely a kick of spicy! My favorite meats.. the ribs, beef tongue, beef belly, pork jowl and even the brisket was good. Park is easy and free!!! There’s a lot. They also do waitlist on Yelp. Highly recommend. It’s was $35 per person.
This KBBQ has a large variety of meat and is the only place I’ve ever seen to serve duck breast, which is a really nice lean meat to have in between your more fatty meats. The thinly sliced pork belly, beef belly, and angus thinly sliced brisket are really good meats to start off with. I recommend ordering mushrooms and duck breast later if you start getting sick of the fat. The tofu soup is also pretty good at the end if you start feeling taste fatigue with all the meat. Overall, a solid KBBQ at lunch when the price becomes $23.99 per person. For dinner $28.99 per person is pretty high imo. The decorations around the tables are pretty cool tho.
This place has it all. Fresh meats and an awesome veggie/ hot food bar. Came here with some friends and left completely stuffed. We ordered the premium option. Highly recommend the pork belly 3 ways, filet mignon, galbi, Cajun shrimp and steak tips. They don't cook for you here, but the food comes out quickly. Service here is great. Our grills were constantly being switched out and our server was always asking us what we wanted next. The place is spotless from the bathrooms to the hot food bar. The meats tasted really fresh and not frozen. There are plenty of other AYCE KBBQ spots in the area that may have a better meats. Unless this is your plan B this won't be bad option. Just call ahead and brace for a short wait
Love coming here once a year. A must stop when in town. Great fresh cuts, all u can eat bought to ur table. Love their buffet area with a few great items. Let the server know your child isn't eating if u have a picky eater. 6/30/2018---Ok, revisited as part of our summer trip. If your child isn't eating, make sure you let your server know, which I did, and check your bill before u pay! (Which I didn't, n got charged for a child who didn't eat anything!) Check ur damn receipt stupid me who got too busy with my kindness rocks!
We were here for our celebration, about group of 8 people on weekday evening. So it’s not crowded, no need for reservations but if weekend you may need. They want you to have everyone arrive before seat in cuz they have time limit. The all you can eat meat were great, lots of selections and waiters are helpful. The Korean soju are the best. We had a great time.
I've been to their Los Angeles a couple times and this time we went to their San Gabriel location. They had a hot food bar which was pretty cool (not shown in the video). Service was great, everyone was nice and attentive. The quality of the meat is different from the LA location, I prefer the LA location more cause the meat quality seems to be better.
This place closed at the height of the pandemic but reopened with a vengeance. The restaurant is as popular as ever. The salad bar is well stocked with raw vegetables and fruit for grilling as well as different kimchis and sauces. The bar also have braised short ribs, Tteok bokki and japchae. The vegetable egg rolls and sesame balls were hot and crispy. The meats and seafood for grilling are fresh. I love the beef tips, boolgogi and marinated short ribs here. The service is amazing. The staff came frequently to bring meat and seafood and to change the grill. I only wish they have better ventilation to clear the smoke.
This korean bbq place is great. What I really liked is their banchan buffet which also had a dessert like sesame seed buchi or fried sesame balls with red bean inside. I can get as much pickled radish, japchae, kimchi, macaroni salad etc. I am most happy with the braised beef ribs included in the bar which is so tender and flavorful. They also have some sauces and the korean bean paste which i dont see a lot in other kbbq places. Their staff are so attentive that even before you are seated, your table is ready with a salad bowl, some banchans and plates. Their meats are delicious and they also have seafood which you can tell are fresh. The only thing is that I've tasted better kimchis in other korean places. Also I am still missing thr veggies like lettuce leaves which i can use to wrap the meats with. A reminder though to be careful with the banchan bar. The unlimited banchan can make you really full easily. We weren't able to taste some of the other meats they offer even if it's a smorgasbord restaurant because we got so full so fast. Price is very reasonable per person compared to other kbbq places with limited banchans and meats.
My favorite Korean BBQ is open for indoor dining. This is one of the best all you can eat Korean BBQ in town. Normally this place is packed. But today, the wait was ok, only around 10 minutes. During the reopen period, there is only one menu instead of the two tier menu like before the pandemic. Dinner is $35.95 per person now. Selections of meats are vast. My favorites are filet mignon, angus beef, short ribs, wagu beef, beef brisket, pork belly, and shrimp. No more self service buffet line. Everything is served to you on the table. I missed those ribs with bones and the pickled vegetables. But they still serve pickled radish and rice sheets to go with the meats. I noticed that circulation system in the restaurant was not as good this time as there was so much smokes in the house. Although the restaurant put dividers between tables, I felt it was too crowded. Service was good. The waiter came by often to take our orders and to change the BBQ plate.
While this location has very attentive service and decent meat, the restaurant has no proper ventilation. For a Korean barbecue spot, that should be a necessity. The entire restaurant is filled with smoke almost to the point of being difficult to breathe. Afterwards, my throat felt irritated from all the smoke I inhaled during my meal. This can’t be good for any of the customers or employees. While I would love to come back because I had a good meal and great service, coffee, the smoke deters me from doing so. Oo-Kook needs to fix this for everyone’s sake. Don’t want to be getting lung cancer any time soon!
