Great quality of food. Lobster noodle is super delicious. Roasted duck and walnut shrimps are must-have dishes. Staff is very friendly and service is attentive. One of my family’s favorite places in SGV for dim sum lunch and seafood dinner. 👍😋
Wedding Banquet Event. Love it. Plenty of parking if you don't mind a short walk in the plaza. Food was great. Unfortunately i cant name them but we had lobster. Traditional Fish in sauce. Fried rice. Cold cuts. Crabs. Cold cut chicken. Red bean dessert. And more and each one is between good to excellent. I had a good time. I didnt know the price tho. Service was great! I hope you find the same when you go.
Foods are good Price very reasonable Definitely will come back
Quality was good, kind of expected Guangdong taste, a but salty. Portion was large enough for 6 people with a regular dish. Most surprised was the price. We expected it to be far dearer at that location with that kind of atmosphere. Recommended
Went to Grand Harbor recently with friends and had a really good experience overall. We booked a private room and the setup was great — the sound system worked well and it was actually fun to sing while eating, which made the dinner feel relaxed and personal. Food-wise, the steamed spotted grouper was tender and naturally sweet, the garlic king crab and typhoon-shelter lobster had strong flavor without feeling greasy, and both the roast duck and pigeon had crisp skin with juicy meat. The scallop egg tofu was silky and savory, and the garlic snow pea shoots were fresh and not oily, which kept the whole meal balanced. Portions were generous, dishes came out steadily without long gaps, and everything tasted clean and well-timed. Service was warm and attentive — staff checked in just enough without interrupting, helped with dish recommendations, and made sure the room stayed comfortable. Overall, good food, smooth pacing, and a private-room setup that actually works for eating and singing at the same time. I’d come back, especially for group dinners or celebrations.🦀🦞🔥
Made a reservation for private banquet room for 7 people and ordered their set menu that is roughly $90/person for a menu for 10 people. Overall standard dishes that were great with friendly service. Lobster, Peking duck, filet mignon, all great staple dishes.
Here for a 12 table wedding reception and loved it! Attentive but unobtrusive service. Recommend Whole Lobster on Noodles, Pineapple Puff Pastry, Steamed Fish, Peking Duck, and Crsipy Skin Piglet; everything was good though.
Loved the seafood Crispy chow mien. Nothing left to take home! Food was pretty good but not sure why the menu is only in Chinese.... fortunately, they did have a picture menu.
Not the typical dim sum place I went too. Was a bit disappointed because there were no carts pushing around and limited items. But i guess each establishment is different. We can't read chinese and we figured ohhh we can look at pictures lol. Mark the selections. We took very long to finalized our selection on the paper menu because well, we don't know what is what. I preferred the cart rolling by so I can point to items I want and get right away. Waiter came by several time to check if we were ready. Got our food, delicious. Not sure if I will come again, prob just for the take out next time.

(Edit: Menu no longer valid) Under new management, owner, or grand re-opening again. Grand Harbor is trying to rebuild its popularity and image again after several years of declining sales. The all-day dinner menu has dropped significantly in price to $9.99 each now from this special menu listed only. This place is now the lowest price in the whole state of California for a dim-sum Cantonese/Hong Kong style restaurant. Expect decent (but not too big) portion sizes, authentic meal quality, comfortable sitting, bright interior lighting, and vibrant talk diners daily. As time goes on, this restaurant will gradually become dirty inside with worn-out furniture and fixtures when the more increasing number of penny-pinching customers continue to come in, while the good mouth words will continue to spread out. Very innovative... Good luck to this establishment and best wishes for year 2026 and beyond.

This is a restaurant with great value for money. Shrimp is $9.99, and salt and pepper ribs are also $9.99. We ordered four dishes for two people, and it only cost a little over $40. The portions were very generous. Highly recommended!

Food is great. No doubt about it. One of the best authentic Chinese restaurants in the neighborhood. However, parking is terrible. Simply too many restaurants and parking is inadequate. Often times we had to park across the street or on the side streets nearby. Their BBQ is definitely better than Sam Woo. The tables are small for banquet and the wait staff is not very professional. At the banquet tonight they asked me to help move or clear the table for them to serve. They should have come and move leftovers to smaller dishes to make room like all other Chinese restaurants do.
The dim sum here are pretty good. They have some creative dishes that you cannot find in the typical dim sum menu. Above standard service level which is fairly reflected in the price they command. Decor is modern and elegant. Overall a great dinning experience and one of the best dim sum joints in the area.
It's kinda hard to review this. The flavor of their food is there! But the quality of their ingredients vary wildly. Sometimes their BBQ is lean and meaty and sometimes they are nothing but fat with some meat attached to it, so I can go from devouring the whole plate or a chunk of the dish is untouched. They are the only dimsum up north of San Gabriel I believe, while New Capitol, 888, and other dimsums are towards Valley blvd, so it's relatively convenient for me. Dimsum prices are OK Their dine-ins are rather expensive with each plate you're looking around $25 each. Their buffett on the other hand is cheaper (~$10 for a 2 item box of rice) but no dimsum
I have eaten here for my dad's, uncle's, and aunt's birthday. The staff are nice. Some areas of the dining room have unsavory odors that waft in from the kitchen. Other than that, the food is very good.
I dont know why there are so many not so good review on this place, but both times I have been here it has been pretty good, at least the food. The latest time I came was for a birthday, and we celebrated in a room that they had Karaoke. The room fit 3 big tables, and it was pretty spacious. The staff were quite nice, and I believe the food was really good as well. What stood out to me was the Lobster, Truffle Chicken, and the Filet Mignon. I’m sorry that I dont have the official names, as the dishes were preset and brought to our table. You just gotta look at the picture, and if you think it looks good, then go for it. This is a great place for anyone to celebrate any occasion, and the private room made it that much more exclusive. If you are planning an event, and want GOOD food, then look no further.
Was just here. People kept telling me it wasn't good, but after I was brought here, it actually was decent food. But it was a super busy evening with birthdays, and Lunar New Year dinners going on, so it was party city! Service was OK, but you really had to flag people down, because things were hectic. But the staff maintained their cool! I'd come back again.
One of the few places has opened for dim sum. They have outdoor dining with around 10 tables. Being a Bib Gourmand Michelin restaurant in the San Gabriel Valley area, naturally, many people are eagerly waiting for it to reopen to feast on the good food again. Being missing dim sum for a few months, we can’t wait to come back to this restaurant for dim sum. During this Covid-19 time, the restaurant has limited but essential dim sum items on their menu. You can still get the Ha Gow, Siu Mai and gluttonous rice. They still offer lunch special dishes with the usual Chinese dishes such as fried rice and kungbo chicken. The dim sums here are decent and delicious. They are related to the famous HK Michelin Star chef A Yip. His famous bake Chao Shao Bun is so soft and it melts in you mouth. Outdoor seatings are comfortable and airy. Felt safe dining here as the staff wear masks and gloves. Each table is at least 6 feet apart.

Good selection of special dinner. Rice not included though. They use frozen clams which are dry. Versus the nearby red 99 uses the fresh ones. Service is good and attentive. Changed our plates a few times. Tea is good. Ambiance is great.

Great place for a wedding with under 200 people allow it will be to crowded.
Servers were kind of rude when I was a customer this morning. The hostess was loud and pushy who talked down to customers as they were children. The other waiters would ignore you if you did not raise your voice and asked for assistance. Dim sums were good quality but I didn't think to come back for next visit.
Food is delicious, but the service is sooooo slow. We spent 1 hour 40 minutes here to wait for everything to be ready for a 2-person meal. Even on a Sunday this is unreasonable and unacceptable. 上菜太慢了!难以忍受……
This restaurant is hard to say. The tastes are good, but we found some bugs in our dishes in last visit! Also, the prices of some seafood dishes are depending service person. If you don't know anyone who is working in this restaurant, you are better to prepare a big bill.
This morning was 2nd time there for Dim Sum( Chinese break fast ), 1st time, food was same as this time. Service was very good, may be it was still in grand opening atmosphere, this is supposed to be up scale Chinese restaurant, food was decent, should be better for the price, DO NOT EAT SALT & PEPPER SHRIMP, 4 shrimps per plate, half was not fresh, my wife and I spent $70 and $60 respectively gratuity included. Waiters and management need a lot of training to be classified as a up scale restaurant. Restaurant setting is good, one very basic thing in hospitality work, as a waiter should always move to the side to let customer walk by first. I have not seen any up scale Asian restaurants able to run like a western counter part. When it is new every thing was run in tip top, as time goes on, service and food quality start to slack off. I guess this one is not different.
The dim sum is satisfactory, but unimpressive in terms of value for money. We felt like we spent a lot and ate very little. The dishes are categorised into small, medium and large, costing $5.38, $6.68 and $7.38, respectively. There are also special/premium ones that cost even more. They do offer a discount during the weekday in which you can get 20% off your bill if you pay before noon and 10% after noon. I don’t think it’s worth it to come on the weekend because it already stung with the discount.
Went for the dinner specials. Most plates were under 13 bucks. Portion size was good. Taste was ok. Service was a bit slow. Maybe due to short staff??? Many people leave with take out boxes. Better than cooking at home.
Located in a shopping mall but step inside and you feel like you are in a grand restaurant in Hong Kong.. it is outdated glamour.. a little too much for me. As for the food,,, they have all day special for $12.99 . We tried 3 dishes. House special chicken was good but nothing special. Pork belly with tofu was not good,, and steamed tilapia was ok…
Good dim sum, Average service: This place serves descent dim sum with average service. The décor inside is nice. Lots of bright lighting. Parking in the private lot is tough on weekends. We had chicken feet, shui mai, salt and pepper smelt, steamed rice wrapper with minced beef and crispy spring rolls. All were good. We cannot give more than three stars due to the quality of the food and the service.

This is a lobster weighing over 4 pounds. What do you think?
The food comes out slow, when its very slow you gets annoyed by it, the kitchen people must have forgotten about it, then you have to remind them, again and again. Also its not as big as it looks, its medium small with alot of large tables. When the food finally comes out, I was disappointed by their tastes of the food, not as good as other cheaper than this place, restraunts. If you are like me, who likes to eat "egg tart" (in Chinese they call it "蛋挞") , then I personally perfer the "888 seafood restaurant". And no, they are not a seafood only restaurant, it's the same thing to eat some "dim sum". Their egg tart are really soft and yummy, only takes 1 bite too. Over all, if you have lots of time, not in a hurry, got a group of people, likes a fancy looking place to eat, or just not so hungry but is lunchtime/dinnertime, this is the perfect place for you. Not for me.
Stay away. Be very careful about ordering market price seafood. They will take it as a blank check and rip you off. I recently went here and ordered MP lobster. It was the smallest, tiniest plate of lobster I have ever seen, and missing parts and a claw as well. It also tastes unfresh. Then the bill came, and they charged me for over 4 lbs. of "live" lobster! They will take you for a fool. I know the economy is not great right now and restaurants are struggling. But this is not the way to make money. For a restaurant, the only thing worse than bad food is dishonesty.
First, we waited a while after sitting down, but no waiter came. We had to flag them down to get their attention. It was not very busy, either. The food was good; some of it was just okay. I'm really only giving it one star because of the hidden fees that they didn't tell us about until we were in the middle of eating and hadn't even received all of our food yet. Fees for what? The tea sets, the small plates that no other place charges us for, and the sauces. They really should tell us there are fees for those. It's incredibly shady to me. I really hope they're not ripping off the elders. I'm never coming back here again. Shady and money hungry to me.
Food is barely acceptable. Overpriced. Especially the woman in the take out section, she was so mean and rude. If you buy char siu, she won't give you the sauce, she said there is an extra charge. The same goes for the man who cuts the meat, he lies to you that the roasted skin is still crispy. Bought it back to try it, it's already very soft. I also bought a whole chicken and when I opened it there was only one drumstick inside. I will definitely never go back to this place.
I was bring my service dog to a restaurant two days ago( June 9th) and the host asked me the proof or documents of the service dog, I didn’t bring my physical card with me , I told them but they keep asking me about it because they have received complaints about dog before, but after showing them the Documents from my phone, the lady grab a newspaper tell me to cover my dog, and they never ask me the two questions they are supposed to ask, is the dog a service animal because of disability and what kind of task she can perform?!none! I will contact ADA department about it
The pea tips are the toughest that I've had in years. The BBQ Pork is also tough, dry, and salty. I have not had such poorly made Chinese food for many years.
Service is slow it took about 40 mins just to get us our first batch of waters. 20 mins for the menu. 20 mins for the food to arrive. And it's all dim sum. Also make sure to watch how they serve you your glass someomtimes they'll grab it from the rim where your lips go or just ask for a straw
Update: I have revised my review. reducing my rating from 5 to 1 star. Though I stand by the quality and flavor of their food, today I discovered that the bill was fraudulently altered by the restaurant. On the day we visited, the total cost of what we ordered, including tip, was $56.48. That amount was paid using a credit card and the tip, paid in cash. Today I discovered the restaurant charged $71.70. This is misrepresentation, wholly dishonest and constitutes fraud. We will not be patronizing this establishment again. Original Review: This place is very popular Delicious dim sum though at times the wait is understandably long and the parking lot in the shopping center can be so difficult to maneuver. I enjoyed the beef balls, hargow, sumai, flat noodle with shrimp and more. Really delicious fare.
Food horrible, soup is COLD not even warm. Pork chop serves in BIG pieces more like for big dog than to human. Greasy table since they use left over hot tea to clean instead of windex.

This restaurant did not keep up to the deal that they have . Can not deliver don't do the deal.(special dinner). I was there waiting for four orders. After half an hour one order came ,another 15 minutes gone by one more order came out, then we sat there wait and wait for half more hour nothing come .then we start to ask them about the other 2 orders what they replied was either we cancel or wait . They dont care about you.very ,Very poor attitude!!!!! This is the last time that we go there .. They don't care about you if you order dinner special. Cheap stuff is not good stuff !!!
Do not come here! We for dinner tonight(Saturday) and arrived around 7:55pm. Waited around 20 mins for a table. We placed our order around 8:15 pm and was told the BBQ is not available and neither are some of the other dishes. 30 mins later, our first dish still have not arrive. We looked around and tables that got seated way before us still have not got their food either. The table behind us also waited a long time and still waiting for their food. We asked the manager how much longer we have to wait and he replied "in a bit", we asked for approximate minutes and he repeated the same thing and avoided answering while walking away. We immediately knew that's a sign to not wait with the other tables and told him to cancel and left. Don't waste your time coming here. Worse service I've had at a restaurant.
Check your credit card charges! I dined here about a week ago and paid by credit card. The charge was posted correctly that day. However, one week later, my card was charged again for the same amount — this second transaction appeared on my statement as “Online, mail or phone” even though I did not place any online or phone order and did not return to the restaurant. This second charge was fraudulent and has been reported to my credit card company. I’m posting this so others can watch their statements carefully if they use a card here.
