Great food, fine service, topical restraunt

Love this food! I love the taste this food has and how juicy the beef and chicken are. Their macaroni salad is the best! Also, even the cabbage is delicious!

Very clean environment. Big change from my last visits. Smile on employee face brightens my day. New girl is very informative, Ashlyn was friendly and I couldn’t help but smile at her charm. The food she helped me choose was great as she insisted it would be, I never thought I would like Island Fire chicken. She told me everything down to the time it would take for the food to be ready. When my order was served she locked eyes with me and announced my number as if she memorized it with a clear booming voice. Been to this location many times, usually great experiences except few time with bland flavor and bad slow customer service. Been a long time but seem to do better now with new staff. Last time with rude, slow service, and bland food made me avoid this location for awhile. Enough noticeable improvement for me to go out of my way writing this review after a long day at work.

I love the hawaian BBQ Chicken set, the chicken didnot dry but morely juicy, you can choose if you not like the vegetables, they will give you more rice like 5 scoops of rice. my moms love the chicken katsu, cos she said its so cruncy and tasty with the vegetables and rice, its only cost around $ 6/set, so worth it and yummy!

The staff are really nice at this location. This is a chain that offers delicious food. If you are not sure what to get here on your first visit try the Hawaiian BBQ mix (3 different meats) or their Chicken combo mix, it's a great way to taste the menu.

Good food when im feeling homesick and need a craving! Ordered the keiki meal for my son and he loved it! Aloha 🤙🏽

My server today, Ashlynn has wonderful customer service. I saw her on TV and was surprised to see her behind the counter. Just watching her work was making me tired. Ashlynn is sweet with very pretty green eyes, that’s what made me recognize her! She works very hard! The cooks got my order wrong and she corrected it before handing my food over to me. Island fire chicken is now my favorite thanks to her recommendation. Going from cleaning/drying trays to stocking sauces and cleaning all the tables. I’d keep this girl around, she clearly knows what she’s doing. Keep it up!

Been to a few different Ono Hawaiian locations. This one is by far the best. Not so much for the food, but for the employees.Front end and back. Have been greeted more than once by Lizette and Nelly. The professional service you get from these two is unmatched by any fast food restaurant. The food is always correct and the cooks make it look so good. Whoever is running this location knows what they are doing. Keep up the excellent service and the well presented food. Thank you to everybody at this location.I go here at least three times a month and will continue to come here not just for the food , but for the service.

Greatly with a great welcome, order was placed fast. The food does take a bit of time but you see them preparing it fast in the back kitchen. All the condiments are outside and the place is kept nicely clean, including the restrooms.

First time visiting. What a great place, great food, great price, and soooo much food! They pile up your containers.

Excellent place for a meal. Fresh and delicious. They have a fish or shrimp special until the day before Easter, March 29th. Maybe for Lent? Crispy, tasty fish. It does not taste greasy or heavy. It comes with salad with black sesame and edamame and a lovely delicious dressing. Maybe ginger/ carrot. I asked for my plate with no rice, all salad. $7 special for a limited time.

I love driving all the way out here bc the portions are great, the chicken is always cooked to perfection. Just sad the Hi-C fruit ounce was not working bc I always drive all the way out here just for it bc its not water downed. Also one day we came it said it was opened in the maps but once we arrived it was closed 😑 I come from. Echo Park, that's passing downtown and it was pretty disappointing they don't update the schedule on Google maps. Other than that, it's my fav place even if we drive all the way here it's sooooo worth it. 🤤🤤🤤

She greeted everyone and took the orders with a smile on her face. She was very clear on repeating the orders back to the customers. I was very impressed with her professionalism. She is very efficient and polite. Thank you for the great service!

Store is very small not much seating. Best to order to go. Parking is good. Food was cooked well.

The chicken katsu is getting so thin. I don't think we will order that again. The plate is full of cabbage to make it seem like u are getting a lot of food.

Not exactly fast. For grilled chicken breast and noodle orders call them ahead otherwise could be 20 minutes, if not at least 10 minutes wait after you order. Sometimes they have prepacked sauces, but you'd need to ask. Nothing special, the seating area is out of sight from register and can be messy. A couple of times the sauce pump was broken then you'd are out of luck for the teriyaki or tempura sauce.

It's pretty good stuff, fast and dependable food and service. It's too bad they no longer have the soups that they once carried. Those are very light and tasty. I guess it was too much trouble to make and serve soup to a large audience. Other than that you can eat healthy here and it's not too pricey.

It's pretty good stuff, fast and dependable food and service. It's too bad they no longer have the soups that they once carried. Those are very light and tasty. I guess it was too much trouble to make and serve soup to a large audience. Other than that you can eat healthy here and it's not too pricey.

Theyre advertising two fish plates on special for 5$ Ive been to this location for the last three days and they're "out of" the fish (mahi mahi) the other fish that's on sale comes w different sides and the mgr won't even let me substitute the sides when both plates are on sale. Makes no sense. Seems like they want to draw you in and then you're left to most likely order something from the regular money and spend more than twice as much. That's what happened to me the last three days. Wack

Waited over 30 minutes and kept asking for my order and they said its not ready after asking a 3rd time come to find out they never started on my order and I had to wait even longer. Didn't offer any compensation for waiting just overall bad service. They didn't even apologize for making me wait over 45 minutes. Terrible service.

Hi , I am a door dash driver and I will tell my experience here at this place , I was on my way to pick up and order for a client and it happens that the staff over at the Hawaiian BBQ restaurant told me that the order was picked up already and I did ask them did you guys ask that person the name to make sure is the real me or to show the app picture of us ..this way is confirmed is me.not some one.else. This staff does care about getting pay but they do not care about a respectful clients money cos the restaurant.reduse toake.the food again or giving his money back , how dear this people do not care but there money , k was so disappointed about the way they didn't care , i did cal the dash support and.make sure this client gets his money back , which he Did. I Know.this could be also a lie from him but is the ethic and principles of how to take care of a client ,.cos.it could be done some other way to.keep him happy I personally will refuse.to.pick.up from this one location due.to the lack of professionalism .... We ordered the sea food mix, the fish over fried, the shrimp under fried, both tasteless, !the fish was burnt to a crisp, and full of oil at every bite, the food you order never looks like the picture on there menu, this is the last time we eat at this nasty place, your cook needs to be re-trained or re-placed, your short ribs are the worst I've tasted, I tried to make a phone order, well....good luck! When you call, it rings ten times, then it auto hangs up on you, come to find out that they dont take your call becouse they use the same phone for there catering business, I wish I knew this before I made seven attempts, that's really annoying, how about using another phone for your catering appointments, and another phone for client like me that dont have the 15 minutes to wait for over fried fish, now I know why this place is called ONO!!

Terrible unorganized they dont know how to count by numbers skipping from 1 to 10 waited 25 minutes for a simple plate by the time they called my number I was already full from everyone else getting their food. Refund went to get groceries instead never going back there.

This location sucks. I've been to others where you order number 44 that has katsu bbq beef and chicken and its a full plate. This place gave me only 4 small slices of katsu and barely any beef and chicken. Next time I'll just drive 5 miles to L&L's instead.
