Opinions de Ajisen Ramen Temple City
This is the ONLY Ajisen I visit often. It has plenty of options for me to choose from. My go to dish is the ABC and the tuna salad. It is not extremely expensive, but try not to overdo your eating. Ramen tends to have lots of salt and it is not good for your health. Treat yourself only.
This place is my favorite ramen spot! Everytime I'm in town this is a go to! There is one in temple city and one in Rowland heights. The spice beef ramen and spicy pork ramen are legit! By far the best ramen spot in my opinion. Definitely recommend this spot
I just ate here for the first time. I ordered the vegetable ramen and it was very tasty. The broth was perfect, full of flavor and not too salty. I will be back!
I've been coming here since 2006 and have always had excellent food. Sadly I no longer live in the area but when I do visit SoCal I always make a stop here to get the chicken ramen. It's to die for!
Yummy. Not the best service the 1st time I went there, but great service the second time. And I should point out I'm not Asian. The food was great both times. Love their buy-one-drink-get-one-free.
Words cannot express how amazing this place is. I've been eating at Ajisen Ramen at 2 places, but one of them sadly went out of business. Either way, the food never fails to amaze me. Its usually pretty quiet, staff there are all friendly, all results in a calming environment.
I don’t remember how many times I’ve eaten there. From before the epidemic to now, this place is like another gathering place at home. You can always find the delicious food you want here. It’s great, and the children love it too , I hope such good service can continue
Great selection of Japanese ramen at a reasonable price. We never have to wait long to be seated. They have a kid's meal menu so my son & daughter like coming here because their meals come with a choice of pudding or ice cream. They also have good selection of drinks. If you check in, you get the second drink free. Facility is clean.
This place never disappoints!! I'm a long time customer, and I will continue to come here and enjoy not only the amazing Ramen dishes, but also how friendly the Ajisen crew really are ... Specially Angel, one of waitresses. And of course the rest that crew... And how gorgeous she is!! I'm enchanted by her!!🌹 Keep it up Ajisen crew!! And kudos to the management for hiring such fine people!! I will definitely keep returning to this little unique place!! M. from Burbank, California. FIVE STARS!!!!!! 🤩👍🌹
I think this chain has over 800 locations in the world. I love their Tonkatsu Ramen. Service is fast and efficient and prices are very reasonable for the food quality. Never have to wait long for a table to get free and they're very consistent from one visit to the next. I've never been unhappy with this place. Also, I think they cook the broth overnight because it's one of the best I've had anywhere. This is my local Ajisen Ramen but I'd be surprised if any other location wasn't as equally good.
Had the Tantanmen. It had a very earthy and peanuty flavor. It was medium heat spice. If you like ramen, you can't go wrong going to Ajisen.
Always just so good and food proportions are large for the price. Service is great and fast.
Yummy noodles. Great prices. My favorite is the the ajisen best combo. They call it the ABC combo. You must always add an egg!
I’ve ordered the Tom Yum Seafood Ramen, my wife ordered Volcano Ramen and we share a side Fried Squid Legs, and all are delicious! The chef is pretty creative on the Tom Yum Seafood Ramen, instead of using lemongrass, he/she used lemon, green chilli and green onion for the soup which I find it creative on the substitute. I drank all the soup eventually! For the Volcano Ramen, the Pork Chasu is really very soft and tender, it literally melt in our mouth! The soup is spicy enough, and both ramen noodles are as good! Fried Squid Legs are fresh and crispy enough, nothing better to describe, it is almost perfect! Lastly, the stall played my favourite song by Yoasobi! Definitely give them a lucky 5 star! -24 July 2022
This place is deliciously full of awesomeness, they serve you a abundance of noodles, the flavores of all the ingredients and spices just overwhelm your taste buds like a typhoon ransacking your tongue, they have a plethora of soups to choose from. This place is one of my favorites to visit in the cold season.

The OG of Ramen! This location has been my favorite since the early 2008 era. I still go to this place whenever I'm in the area!
I love getting ramen here. One of my absolute favorite places to get noodles, ramen, and tea. They have a huge variety of ramen, udon, and other Japanese / Asian food to choose from, their menu has over 100 different options and many different drinks to try that are all amazing. Definitely will be coming back and bringing friends
Amazing restaurant! I’d rate it 6 stars if I could. The food was very delicious and filling, as well as the appetizers (specifically the fried scallop). Besides the food, the service was TOP TIER. Employees are beyond caring; one lady kindly rushed out of the restaurant in order to return my phone, which I had accidentally left behind on the table (thank you!). Additionally, the atmosphere was very cozy. Overall a fantastic Japanese restaurant to enjoy a meal at! :)

The food here one of my favorite Ramen spots for a pretty cheap price. The ABC Ramen is to die for as long as you like pork most of the suitcases are pork heavy though so swine haters beware. Service is good but not the best place to go if your group is loud might get a couple of side eye looks from the staff and other patrons.
Surprisingly a nice place to get ramen. Tables are a little close together and cramped. Outside of the restaurant looks older or need a steam wash, but inside looked better. It was somewhat busy and they had new hires so, service was on the slow side. Food was pretty good. Parking is plentiful. Easy access in and out. I would probably come again.
Ajisen Ramen is often eaten in China. The taste of this store in the United States is slightly different from that in China. The attitude of the waiter is very good and very welcoming. I like to eat the only spicy noodle in this restaurant, Volcano Ramen. It is recommended for the third level of spiciness. Although it is not spicy enough, it is still rich and delicious. The snacks in this shop are also very rich, there are Western-style fried chicken, and there are also oriental flavors. There are not many places in the restaurant, but the lights are slightly dim. It would be better if it were brighter.
Ajisen is a very unassuming ramen spot from the outside, but their hearty and flavorful bowls will have you coming back. The broth is delicious and balanced, with a fair amount of heat when asked for. The chashu was slightly over and a bit dry and chewy, but still flavorful. The staff was accommodating, but not the most enthusiastic or energetic. I love the fried garlic shakers on the table for that extra flavor enhancement it gives. Although is may not be the nicest, Ajisen is a great place to stop for a quick bowl of ramen.
I have not been in this location. For quite a while. Last time was like 4years ago I think. The place was crowded then. Had to wait to be seated. Ordered the usual lunch special. Bbq pork and corn ramen and a side of fried tofu. The ramen as usual was delicious. The broth was not too salty, just right. However, the fried tofu was not tasty at all. Not as tasty as the one in colima rd branch. Overall it was still great. The waiter was really nice. Was there Dec 20 at 12:46 pm. So whoever was that tall waiter. He was nice. Definitely recommend everyone to tru the place.
The broth is creamy but not too thick. We always order Ajisen Ramen #47 on the menu.
B.B.Q Pork ramen is not the most refined, but extremely satisfying ramen. The almost bisque-like broth carries a sensual viscosity and creaminess, exploding in your mouth with intense umami. The viscosity of the broth also allows it to cling beautifully to the noodles, which are always delivered with perfect bite. will be back to try out other ramens!!!
Good ramen options, the restaurant is a lot smaller than expected, go there earlier to avoid crowd
A lot of options. Foods are okay. Easy to parking.
Great food, great service, and wasn't crowded. Perfect place for dinner. No leftovers to go. Lol. Thank you for dinner.

Good, not great, there isn't a lot to complain about here. Good for a quick bite but if you are picky about your noodles you may have to compromise. Clean, good service, decent prices. Imagine is Chipotle did noodles and you'll have an idea of what the experience is like.
The service was good and the staff were nice. I had the Ajisen Ramen Noodle bowl. The broth was lacking in flavor for me a little. I have been eating Ramen noodles my whole life. Maybe next time I will try something else. This was my first time here. The hot honey lemon water was very good.
Ordered through phone and got the pork with corn. The soup tasted pretty decent but the noodle texture and meat quality were not that great. The noodles did not taste like fresh noodles but more ramen like. There are more authentic ramen places at this price them this so I probably will not come back.
First time I knew Arisen was when they had their booth in Century City Westfield Mall, West LA. I have been addicted to it ever since. My #1 favorite ramen noodle, specifically the spicy pork ramen. Love it so much. I tried different ramen menu but to me, the spicy pork is the best - because of the ingredients, the spicy taste, all combined together. I also have tried the one in Alhambra, they are good as well. Then I came across this location, Temple City. I ordered the same dish, and I was like.. "What is this?" It doesn't taste the same. The thickness of the broth is so different - like water-down soup base... I didn't enjoy it at all. It's a bummer, I felt like I don't like this ramen anymore. I hope the other location still make it good! At this location the service is also slow. Not that happy during my visit here. The sign of the restaurant is covered by the tree if you are coming from temple city Road towards this place, not from the other way around. I got lost 2 times because of the unseen sign, so pay attention when you use GPS.
Ive been here many times with my family. Food is great. Doesn't look too clean especially if you sit at the adjacent add on section. Window sill is always dirty. I am a tea fan but I didnt get my second cup of tea refill. Waitress never offered. My husband and I returned again same thing happened. They are very slow for the 2nd tea refill.
Egg is not marinated soy sauce egg, soup is not salty enough, waitress is not welcoming may need some more training, ordered waters but the drinks come later than the foods, sausage was nice. Individual building and parking lot, easy to find and park.
Ajisen in Irvine was the golden standard for Ramen for me and my family. The spicy beef bowl was something no other spot had and was just addictive with it's flavor and profile. After Irvine ajisen closed we decided to make the trek to temple city one day. We'll today was the day, and I must say in comparison. The atmosphere is much dingier, the people are still delightful, however the food was much more tame, egg and beef were slightly cold while the broth was sizzling hot. The spicy Ramen both had 0 spiciness to it. It was good Ramen but a solid 3/5 as far as Ramen spots go, no complaints really but not the ajisen I use to hold as the gold standard. Will come back and try again another day. Perhaps it was an off day for temple city ajisen.

I've been going to this place for several years... prices has gone up a lot lately. The ramen hasn't gotten any better. There's other ramen stores out there that are cheaper. Expect to pay a lot for average food. Veggy ramen was almost 15bucks... I was eating the same veggy ramen when it was 10.95

I used to give this place a five star. But I'm going to take out 3 more star because I came here recently during dinner time and it was terrible. Customer service was okay nobody look like they were pay attention to the customer, two guys were talking to each other only one lady was working hard but she was busy on the other side. I wanted to go boss and my check I waited about 20 minutes to get it. I order a Ramen with BBQ pork. I am still shocked how less soup and less noodles I had. It was literally half a bowl . I used to come here and I remember it was at least almost full bowl
Waitress mistook our order, ramen was undercooked. We were sat I'm the external seating area and it was a slow night, but the waitress only came to our table to take our order and bring out food, no refills and we had to hunt down staff to get the check and pay. I now understand why this place hasn't been too busy the last couple times I've been here.
This location seems to be operated solely by teenagers and college kids...while I appreciate the opportunity for kids to learn the value of work, they weren't really up to the task--no smiles, inattentive, staring blankly in any direction except toward customers. Food was barely hot; kids ramen burger was a sorry attempt at fusion novelty. To cap off the experience, a few hours later I felt nauseous and vomited everything back up (yes you can say that colored my opinion)
I ordered spam musubi, Ajisen Ramen, ABC ramen and pork cutlet curry ramen. The best one among these items was pork cutlet. Other than that were kind of disappointed.

I have been an Ajisen Ramen customer for over a decade, starting from the Century City/Los Angeles location. When moved to the San Gabriel Valley area, I continued to order take out from the Temple City location. I have always enjoyed their Premium Pork Ramen dish and was always satisfied with my meal. Unfortunately, on 9/18/22 (check #41) I was on my way out of the area, but stopped along the way to pick up my order and when I arrived at my destination, I commenced to eating my meal. It was a horrible experience eating my meal. First, the ramen was not ramen, rather, it had a taste of spaghetti. Ramen is thin white noodles. The noodles that attempted to pass for ramen was either spaghetti or something else, and the ramen was twice the thickness of the ramen I had eaten through the years. The broth was not as tasteful because it was lacking the spicy and fullness of the broth. I am writing this review not because I take pleasure, because I rarely write reviews. Only when I'm deeply dissatisfied with a purchase or product have I ever written a review. And, this is one of those instances where I spent $15.82 plus $3 cash tip and through half of my meal in the trash. Unfortunately, I will not return to this restaurant and I am saddened by it, because it was truly one of the places I would drive to, when I wanted to satisfy my craving. Very disappointed! This review is delayed because I was out of town and recently returned.
Server took us to our table outside, despite there being multiple tables indoors, proceeded to ignore us for 10min despite repeatedly pressing and asking for water. When confronted she responded with, "Uh there's only two of us." So I'm supposed just forgive everything because of that?
