Nice place. It feels you are not downtown San Jose. Were go for 11 and 14 IMO
Always have a great selection of beer and fresh as they keep a good flow of rotations
Amazing drinking hole with great selection on tap of about 15-20 local beers. Can’t wait to return. Nice seating area up top. No food but they don’t mind if you bring some from Whole Foods.
Love coming here! Good spot to come on your own or with the homies. Benny & Johnny are awesome. Always super friendly and chill. Music choice is always 🔥 and menu options are always good.
Great brewery spot associated with the Whole Foods. Go up the stairs and you will find an umbrella covered patio and a bar. Floodcraft has a lot of their own brews on the menu as well as some brews from local spots near by. Saw a lot of people come up with food from whole foods and just enjoying a cold brew. They don't do "flights" as a special, but they do have 4oz pour and flight boards - its a weird system, there is no price discount or flight option you can just order small pours. Very fun spot, a little uncomfortable on a warm day, while there are umbrellas it can get hot, there were no fans or cooling options when we went.
Excellent roof top beer garden with a good selection of in-house brewed and other beers ! The place is perfect for chilling with friends on a sunny evening! Bartenders are friendly and happy to recommend drinks based on your preference 🍻 They are a part of Whole foods (located the floor below the bar ) and you can actually pick up snacks etc from there and have it along with your beer at no extra cost 😋
What a great taproom - It's outside but it's inside! The have an incredible and varied tap list. Floodcraft's own brews are amazing! If you like the style of Russian River brews you will like these also; Super fresh and flavorful. Hugely underrated from my perspective - these folks should be famous for the beers they turn out :)
We visited this Floodcraft of the recommendation of a friend. The beer was great and prices are reasonable. Service was very friendly and quick. They normally have food but at the time we went the kitchen was closed instead you could bring food fun wholefoods next door up to the bar which was great. The place is on the 2nd floor but has an accessible elevator/lift and has accessible toilets.
First time there after the Bakersfield Condors beat the San Jose barracudas 7-1, our group stopped in for a quick beer before we headed back to town. Bartenders were cool very welcoming. Definitely will be stopping by there again when in town!
Pretty much awesome. A wide and ever-rotating selection of homebrew and guest tap beers, some wines, and some ciders. The good thing is that, since the brewery is integrated with Whole Foods, you can grab anything you want to eat or drink from it, and bring it up to the brewery to consume. A nice view of SAP Center is a bonus :)
The beer and the prices are great. Location couldn't be better. Love the open deck concept. We went around 4pm and service was slow but there was just one server/bartender. Great music. Still, we will definitely be back!
High quality brewery! Great beers, great atmosphere and perfect service! The “Sierra Nevada” IPA was perfect! Hope it won’t be only seasonal but permanent.
Excellent beer selection, with a lot of locally crafted brews, and friendly service. Ordered a few tasters and the bartender was super kind to make it a full flight on the house. Nice vibe too with the outdoors patio. No parking issues despite the location (right next to SAP center).
Great spot to grab a pint and some light apps. Buffalo wings, sushi and the pretzel are all great. Awesome outdoor deck seating area with heaters in case it’s a little bit cold.
Nice craft beer selection right outside Whole Foods. Grab some takeaway and get a pint. It’s on the second floor, so the SAP Center and mountains make a nice backdrop.
Cool spot at a convenient location. Friendly bartender. Apparently them and Whole Foods brewery in TX are the only two breweries own by Mr Bezos.
Excellent craft brews on tap with super friendly servers. Easy parking the Whole food lot. A good place to enjoy a pint or two.
What a beautiful spot to drink some beer. The outdoor patio is inviting with a nice view. The beer options are pretty vast, with like 8 of their own brews and guest taps too. The food options were super meh though, but you could just go downstairs to Whole Foods and buy something from their hot bar, so that's kind of moot. Solid option for any event at the SAP center though as it's like 2 blocks away.
Great selection of beers. 21 beers on the day I visited. Most are local I believe and some are brewed right there. I like IPA's and the two I tried were very good. As I was traveling, I was by myself and this is a good place for being solo. Had a couple of beers while I read a book and it was great.
Great place to grab a beer and a bite. Limited menu upstairs, but you can go to Whole Foods cafeteria area, buy food, and take it upstairs to Floodcraft! Nice views and covered patio seating.
Legit! Grab 2 slices of fresh pizza downstairs (Whole foods) A variety of beer and views with landing airplanes - tell me no more!
Wow! Their hazy IPA is refreshing and delicious. Awesome balcony views too.
Good beer and good vibes, but only complaint is the menu is small for 20+ beers.
Enjoyed the sunshine and beer here. Friendly bartenders and cool spaces. Worthiness visit again and again.

Great place to get a beer + you can bring up food you get at Amazon & there's a bit of space to park a bicycle or two upstairs

The beer that is brewed here is 10 out of 10. I come out of my way to go here when I'm looking for top notch craft beer. They also have a fantastic selection of local breweries on their taps, but I never order anything but the house beers here. THEY'RE THAT GOOD.

Friendly service. Good but not great selection that emphasizes western US flavors. I enjoyed the crazy zen double IPA but was disappointed by the laughing monk. In other words, don't come here for ambers, stouts, or Belgian lambics. I wish they wouldn't close that early (8 pm) and they would serve some bar foods. All of that said, it is a very decent place and within their narrow range, their beers are very fine.
I came to Floodcraft before a Sharks game and whoa, was it packed. I wound up ordering two beers at once since the line were long and set my solo self down at a tab with another solo diner. They have a huge selection and a killer food menu. You won't be disappointed, especially since it's open air and you can see crowds headed to the SAP Center. Note: This is located in the Whole Foods, though the entrance is separate from Whole Foods.
I've been to Floodcraft about 10 times now over the years since it first opened. Consistently good variety of fresh brews, including many from other craft brewers. Biggest problem is its small size, which makes it difficult to not only sit but also to order at the bar. They also close quite early (8pm?), which must be a drag for locals. For an area that city wants to revitalize, city planners have needlessly hindered the neighborhood's nascent growth.
Great spot to come for a beer after work or hang out with friends. You can buy some food inside at one of the food spots inside Whole Foods or buy food here too. They have many beers on tap and some light bites. Plus, it's walking distance to SAP center. My friends and I came here before a concert.
I came here a little while back for a drink with a colleague. This place is located next to Whole Foods on the second level. It has a nice open are vibe to it and carries a variety of different beers and wines. Definitely a good place to hang out.
Blink and you’ll miss this elevated, second story taproom located above Whole Foods. I dropped in around 6 on a Wednesday and the place was poppin like the face of a teenager that just hit puberty. Luckily I was able to order relatively quickly and even luckier, I found a seat that overlooked the intersection with a view of the San José Shark arena, the fabled Shark Tank. The weather was great. The crowd was animated. The bartenders were tag teaming the line like the iconic WWE champs The Hart Foundation. And the Riwaka Juice Double IPA and Textured Shapes Triple IPA were delicious, golden sun goddess kisses to my lips. Notes: there’s an elevator for those that aren’t good with stairs and the restroom is on the first floor, but ask for the code ahead of time or you’ll be sorely disappointed.
Floodcraft Brewing. So I particularly like this location for a number of factors. First being is that it's connected to whole foods while I don't do a lot of shopping here I do like picking up food for lunch! Whole food's itself has a great little selection of local beers ranging from ciders to ipa! A little + is that they allow you to purchase beer downstairs and drink upstairs at the bar not forcing you to purchase from them directly. No floodcraft doesn't have a huge variety but there menu is always changing and they do have a nice variety. I don't always like what they are serving but more often then not they have something incredibly tasty to me lol I love the fact this location is just off downtown away from the usual hustle bustle bars. It also serves as a great little pregame spot before heading to the sap center for events or hoping on caltrains before heading to a giants game. The upstairs patio is open and usually a nice breeze. And night they have ceiling heaters that keep things at a comfortable temperature! Now I took one star away for one reason only seating is a little less than adequate. This place it does tend to get very popular and busy leaving pretty much standing room only, sometimes seats clear quickly sometimes they don't but it's lacking and definitely leave something to be desired. All in all I recommend this little spot to anyone looking for something new in the downtown area!
Great brewery attached to the whole good. They always have fresh local beers on tap. Specialize in pale ales and IPAs. They also offer food and snacks at the bar. You can also bring food up from the whole foods.
Great place to grab a bite and a beer. FloodCraft makes some spectacular IPA's with Tickle Me Nelmo being my personal favorite. The service is good and the staff is knowledgeable about what's on tap. My only complaint is that since they started distributing their beers to other Whole Foods locations, they haven't had nearly as many of their beers on tap as I would like. It gives it a feel of just being a nice tap house with a couple FloodCraft beers on tap...

Note: This is an outside/patio bar, open to the weather... mostly shaded from the sun, but not from the wind or rain, so be sure to dress for the weather. Really good craft beer selection, good representation of local breweries plus several of their own. Great place to watch trains and planes go by if you sit at the southeast end of the bar area.

It's okay. I can see it being a decent spot for people who live in the area, but it isnt a "destination". As someone from a nearby suburb, I probably won't go out of my way to stop by again. Beer was just alright--not a ton of variety by the Mission Brewing Co (there's variety if you try guest taps, though). Music was *ridiculously* loud. And since we went with someone who is hard of hearing, it was difficult to communicate effectively.
Came here a couple of years ago and loved it! Great beer and good food. We were back in town and were excited to come back... what a disappointment. Still a good selection of beers, but the girl pouring didn't seem to know much about any of them and could point us in the right direction. Then, we were sad to see that the once expansive menu was just 2 or 3 options. Their website lists several food choices and doesn't state that only a couple are available at an given time. We did order the pretzel with nacho cheese sauce & mustard. It was ok, the cheese sauce was not a sauce, it tasted like cheese from a can and the mustard was just plain yellow mustard. It's such a cool location, but I don't think we will be back.
The menu online is very misleading, don't go to this place if you're hungry and looking to have a meal; they just serve snack fare for the most part with the exception of a few off-menu pizzas. Also, the only vegetarian option is a pretzel. There isn't any indoor seating, so you're at the mercy of the wind and weather for better or worse. Their beer selection was good though, and decently priced.
Good location. Best thing about the place is the parking. There's a lot of it and it's free. The beer selection is quite decent but I personally didn't like most of them. If you're into what they serve then it's a nice place.
Been a patriot of this establishments since day one scene from its old Brewery name I'm very happy that they kept the same recipes same brewmaster. But the only reason why it's getting a 3-star from me is because their food menu for that Brewery has changed to excellent to now poor they would have gotten a four stars from me if the food wasn't crappy but the beer is still good.
Great beer but won't fill a growler with anything but their own and they have a fantastic selection of all local beers. Let them compete on quality. Excuse was that we have more of ours than theirs. Last time for me.
Loved this place in many previous visits but tonight was a different story. My wife and I showed up around 7:30, they closed at 8. The first bartender was wasted and couldn’t open a wine bottle for the customer in front of me. He asked for a glass of red wine 3 times and she tried to pour white wine all 3 times. After that I ordered a draft beer. She poured it so badly 1/3 of the beer was foam. She filled the rest with a squeeze bottle full of water to make the foam “disappear”. After that she left, trashed. The closing bartender came on and I told her what happened and that I wanted another beer. She scoffed at me, poured me a random beer that I didn’t order and slid it to me as if to say “screw you guy” no clue what’s going on at this place but I won’t be going back anytime soon.
Good selection of beers and great place with a view, however rude staff. I ordered a light beer and they ended up giving me an IPA and refused to take it back.
Good beer, but the service was quite disappointing. I asked to play a song on the iPad at the bar since the music was generic and uninteresting. Justin, one of the bartenders, was great and worked diligently the whole time, even acknowledging my request positively. However, the first bartender returned from his break and spent more time chatting with tables than tending the bar. When he finally came back, he insisted on playing only his music, showing a terrible attitude and service. If you're using an iPad for music, let the paying customers have a say. Sharing music and taking turns is a simple courtesy that's been overlooked here.
