Friendly service and fast moving! I appreciate that the staff is always on top of the orders but also takes the time to make sure everything is right with your order. Recommend Peet's in general and especially this location!

Large Black Tie. They know my order because I'm in here at least once a week. It's worth the extra drive even though there are several Starbucks that are more conveniently located. The coffee just tastes better, especially the cold brew.

Once I got used to Peet's over-roasting style of espresso many years ago, I never found a cappuccino I prefer more. The stores are always clean and the baristas generally know what they're doing. The Alameda Peet's has got plenty of space, and some parking spaces outside.

My favorite coffee hands down! The mint mojito is a must but most times I get the ecstatic. It packs enough of a caffeine punch to get me going. Seating is very limited so be ready for that if you're looking to hang out there. I never hang out there for that reason so I just park as close as I can, get my ecstatic and go on my way. Must try if visiting the Bay Area.

The entire team at this location is Stellar!! No one is surly or rude, customer service is on point. There are 5 other coffee shops in the area, I won't go anywhere else now because the service here is unmatched.

The staff here was super friendly and attentive. The actual quality of the drinks I received was good, you could tell the drinks were made with care. For the price I paid, I got service and drinks worth much more!

This Petes location can get extremely busy however the Charisma and energy of the staff make it worth the wait. Every day that I come here I see the interaction between staff and patrons many times knowing each other by first name basis. This touch of care and personal interaction goes a long way in my decision of being a faithful and regular Petes customer. You guys rock! Keep up the great hard work and you always have a faithful customer in me.

This Peet's is in a convenient location on the Alameda, with a small parking lot behind the store. When I went mid-afternoon, there was a small line that went a tad slowly, as there was only one Barista taking orders. The iced green tea that I ordered was fabulous. However, there was no stevia sweetener, unfortunately. This was a great place to have a meeting, with plenty of seats, gender-neutral restrooms, and clean tables and chairs.

Great place to sit and get lost in your ephemeral Earl Grey latte or chill out with a croissant and a Dry Cap! Love to try the new beverages. Good staff. Pleasant and knowledgeable!

I get my coffee here daily. The staff are great. The customers are a little wonky. The food is okay, but I rather get a sandwich at subway across the street.

Great coffee; original blends. Can have a queue at times. Edit 4/19: spoke to the store manager and employees about my following complaint. They said their policy is that they won’t ask anyone to leave unless they are bothering someone (e.g., arguing, escalating). I insisted that they need to have personal hygiene standards even if a customer (e.g., a homeless person) buys a drink and sits in the store. HOWEVER, Peets does not vet those who come into the store. Sometimes you can be bulldozed by poor old single ladies and men who have nothing better to do hog your time and won't let you go. They won't let you read your book or spend your time. This is a major hassle. They are loud, go to everyone speak about conspiracy theories and waste other's time. Peet's only needs to let in buying customers and limit time of those who are simply sitting there. This is not a public park or a mall!

I am a double espresso black no sugar type of guy, so I won't be able to give an opinion on the more complex drinks, but their espresso always hits the spot! The staff is really friendly, and if they still have some when you go there, try the scones, they never disappoint.

Coffee was reasonable, drinkable but certainly not outstanding for the price. Paying extra for a double shot except in the really large seems a bit steep. Food looked pretty average at premium price so I didn't bother. Wifi was easy and good. Place was full of people but service seemed slow given how many were ordering coffee.

Love their cappuccino. My only problem is lack of consistency between baristas and stores. Some people make a cappuccino milky, others very dry, and I always order the same thing. If only Peet's could ensure consistency in their product.

Nice settings. Friendly staff. Can get a bit noisy as its very popular. You'll see a lot of regulars if you go there daily (like me when working on a project). Their iced coffee is awesome too.

I have been drinking Starbucks for 8 years and never tried Peet's. But one day I happened to go to Peet's and I was so happy. Peet's Butter croissant tastes like real food and so much better than Starbucks butter croissant. Same way Peet's Latte is like you are drinking coffee whereas Starbucks latte tastes so watery. I give 4 stars to Peet's.

Convenient pickup place for folks living nearby. However, sometimes they move the pick up shelf around in the store without obvious signs and it takes me a few minutes to find my drinks.

We pre-ordered a gallon of coffee to go. Had to wait ten minutes plus when we arrived to pickup. This Peet's is better outside, on the Alameda, than sitting inside.

My local Peet's. It's usually packed first thing in the morning with a crowd of regulars. Good, reliable, free Internet if you need to work. A friendly, competent staff. And of course, good, strong Peet's quality coffee.

Peets, Starbucks. They are good in a pinch, however if you want quality coffee. Coffee that you can actually taste fine a local craft shop. Crema right down the street has superior coffee. There are many many local specialty coffee shops that truly celebrate coffee. Give them a go.

There's a serious priority problem when ordering a pound of ground coffee takes +30 minutes and there is no line at the counter. Twice I've been disappointed when my pizza order from next door is ready and is getting cold before my bag of ground coffee... now's it's time to post this observation. I walked out the second after seeing the staff taking away the garbage before doing the grinding... I guess garbage comes before a paying customer. Boo......

When fast, friendly service meets absolutely below marginal quality, it is, purely and simply, a total waste of money. Sure, the folks are nice enough, but have no vested interest in anything other than shuffling the cattle through the register. If the coffee at Whole Foods wasn't worse, I would get it there.
