We stopped in at this restaurant after a very long evening of driving and were not disappointed! The food was exceptional and the service was attentive and kind. We had the molcajete and the quesafrita. Prices were great and had plenty of leftovers.
This was my first time ordering from here. A lot of places only sell pozole or menudo on the weekends. I was SO HAPPY to hear they have it all week! My husband got sick and I didn't want to cook so Casa Villa came to save the day! We got pozole and the jicama and cucumber salad. My toddler basically stole the salad from me. The chili oil and the toppings were life. I asked for extra hominy when I phoned in and they came through! Everything was delicious. We're definitely coming back!** I would have added more photos but I couldn't wait to dig in!
Came here on a Sunday Lunch and had a great time! Do not be fooled by its appearance; the food is amazing! Authentic Mexican food with great presentation. The virgin mojito was a great addition to a nonalcoholic soda. The food had great taste, and the vegetarian meat was very tender. The chicken was well seasoned on the street tacos and the burrito was very flavorful. Mexican music was playing and many people were present. Ended it off with delicious churros with ice cream.
Casa Villa is an absolute hidden gem that you cannot walk past! From the moment you step inside, you’re welcomed like family — the customer service is truly top-notch. Every single staff member is warm, attentive, and genuinely happy to make you feel right at home. The food? Absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was bursting with flavor and made with so much love and care — it honestly felt like I was eating at my own family’s table. I even found myself licking the sauce off my plate (no shame, it was THAT good)! And the drinks were just as incredible. If you’re looking for that perfect combination of amazing food, excellent service, and a cozy, authentic atmosphere, Casa Villa is it. Trust me — you’re seriously missing out if you don’t come here!
We had a pretty large party and they were great and accommodating. Food was good and the portions were great.
Out of town for the Holo Holo concert...came here for authentic food...pretty good....definitely authentic 😊 would come again...service was a little bit too inattentive for my liking tho.
I recently dined at Casa Villa, and I must say it was a fantastic experience. The restaurant serves authentic Mexican cuisine that is simply delicious. From flavorful tacos to mouthwatering enchiladas, every dish was a true delight. What impressed me even more was their attention to detail, especially with their special mugs for mojitos. It added an extra touch of uniqueness to the dining experience. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting and cozy, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed evening out. Whether you're a fan of Mexican cuisine or looking to explore new flavors, Casa Villa is definitely a place worth visiting. I highly recommend it for its authentic food, special mugs for mojitos, and overall exceptional dining experience.
Great place for Mexican food and good drinks. Ordered a Super Chavela 👌 and Queso Fundido to start. Had Chicken Enchiladas as main course and it was delicious. Their red sauce is very dark with robust flavor.
Great little place. Don’t let the size fool you. This place is good. Was my first time there (they are fairly new as of this date) but really good food. The chicken Enmoladas was outstanding. Great presentation and really good Mole. Not spicy so you really get the flavor. The chicken nachos was also very good. Chicken was tender and flavorful. The Villa Sangria was a hit too. Red wine and peach. Doesn’t sound that good right? Wrong! It was delicious with some fresh fruit and an orchid thrown in for more presentation. But, do whatever you need to do to save room for the tres leches cake 🥰

Food was good. The beans and rice were perfect. Service was good. I guess the only drawback is that it's a very small space so seating is a bit limited.
Best Mexican food I’ve ever had. All homemade including their tortillas. Order the Quesa -Burria Tacos and Quesa Fritas… amazing. Outstanding authentic food and wonderful service.
We were looking for a new place to try and glad we came here. The waiter was quick with our orders and the food came in an acceptable amount of time. My wife and I shared a plate but we all enjoyed our food. We will be back and look forward to trying other dishes.
Excellent food paired with attentive and quick service makes this place a great one to visit. The place was about half full when I visited and the place was quiet. The menu is fairly large - for both meat lovers and vegetarians (though a bit heavy on the "meatless-meat"). The food came steaming hot and was delicious from the first bite to the last. We all ate a bit too much rather than packing up the leftovers to take home. I am keen to go there again.
Great food and a great variety from authentic Mexican to American. I really enjoyed the Vegan Chili Rellenos which I have never seen on a menu before!

Had a work meeting here for dinner. At 6:00 on a weekday, we easily were able to find a table for 6. The service was good and the food was great. I had the street tacos with carnitas and really enjoyed them. Pricing was fair, but not cheap. Would recommend.
I really enjoyed this small Mexican restaurant within the Willow Glen area. The food has been delicious every time I have visited. Only on a recent occasion my father's pozole soup was a bit too salty and he didn't enjoy it as the last time he ordered it. Chilaquiles are always a great simple option. I recommend the guarache, it has a great quantity for 2 people. You can keep it vegan, vegetarian, or add meat. I prefer no meat on mine, but i really enjoy how fresh and perfectly cooked the nopales are in this dish. The orange sauce that comes with it, is fire. I love that spicy balanced flavor. Customer service is always welcoming as well, they can be a bit slow at times, but they really take their time to make sure your dish is to perfection. For dessert I would recommend the flan and a cup of cafe de olla.
Food was good. Service was good. Nice waiter. Atmosphere was nice, cozy and small. Sombrero decor. It was very very HOT in the restaurant. Didn't want to stay but the waiter was nice so we endured the heat. Too hot to give more stars. Bathroom was clean. Chicken Enchiladas and chile verde were really tasty. Chips and salsa, yum. Classic Breakfast had good bacon but every thing else was ok.

This is definitely a 3 star taco place. It was good, but for the price of $6 per taco, not worth what you get. Now the tortillas are homemade, and that was good. But overall not that great. Now we didn't try everything else and we may come back for something completely different. But for the tacos in which we were rating, a solid 3.0
I got a Carne asada taco and it was OK, the homemade corn tortilla made it 3 stars. The meat wasn't seasoned and the sauce was so thick it tasted like a mole sauce. Service was amazing vary friendly and fast service, very clean place with plenty of parking and plenty of seating inside and out.
I got pozole and cafe de olla for brunch but was a bit disappointed by the wait times :(. It took about (if not) over 40 minutes to get my pozole out after all of my friends at my table had already gotten their food. The pozole itself was also not that flavorful. It had no spice and they also did not provide much limón on the side. It was also a bit pricey for what I received, but also this is the Bay. M I was really hoping for better, but I think my friends enjoyed their meal.
Food was ok. Service was top notch! Lovely restaurant wish cozy atmosphere. I appreciate their nice service, clean restaurant and good prices too. Note: Their beans were missing some "love"they were served whole instead yummy creamy mashed I wasn't impressed.
We sat down and by the time a server came to get our drinks another couple sat at the table next to us and were served immediately. They Ordered drinks and when those were brought out, they ordered their food all before our server came to our table. We finally ordered our food (I got a burrito, my husband got the torta) and waited for 20 minutes before our server came out to tell us they were out of bread for the torta. All in all, it wasn't a bad experience, but we won't be going back

Saddest Mexican food experience I've had in many years. Esquites "grilled corn" was nothing more than a cold half can of corn. Fajitas was a luke warm (barely) stir fry for $26. For the price you can eat better anywhere. Could not recommend to anyone. Go to Luna or any Taqueria.
I'm not sure why this restaurant has high rating. Service was just okay but was really slow. Food is not good and there's barely any meat. Pina colada wasn't great either.
Extremely disappointed with both the food and the service during my visit today. I had high hopes, but unfortunately, this experience fell flat in every way. I ordered the chilaquiles rojas, and my younger sister got pancakes with fries. The chilaquiles were alright. The pancakes were barely cooked — completely doughy on the inside, like someone poured batter on the griddle and took it off almost immediately. If you want some legit Mexican food go to other places.
