New Jade China

Been coming here for many moons, food almost always never disappoints, I always order the combo plate and I always switch it up.. but for reals this place never disappoints. They could have picked a bigger place for more seating but for the most part it's fine for a few people.

I miss living close to this place. On our way back into San Jose we stopped here and got our fresh cooked yummy food. I was exhausted and grateful I would not have to cook. The portions are wonderful and everyone loves the leftovers.

Really really great value for the price for take out. My wife and I can usually split one combo meal and have left overs. Two orders would give us multiple meals. We come here often!

Great food at a great price, especially their trays large/family dinner parties! They packaged my order hot and fresh and helped me deliver it to my car. Great local business!

Food is delicious. Ordered few times. Always good. Didn't get spicy sauce even though I asked and to go order didn't have one for or spoon. But it's good food and I cook so I'm very picky. Next time I'll just make sure I ask. Thanx again

This is our go-to takeout Chinese food! Great portions of food at great prices with friendly service! Our main dish has become the garlic chicken with side if noodles. Nothing really compares if you're looking for quick, good takeout food.

Ordered combo no. 8. Delicious fried shrimp and sweet and sour pork, broccoli and shrimp, and tasty fried rice. Sweet and sour, hot and soy sauce in separate containers. Large portion and good price and friendly service.

This was $18 after tax not including tip. This is so much food for a sing person. My girlfriend and I got 1 combo plate each and after we couldn’t eat any more the box looked like it hasn’t even been touched..1 box is enough for us 2 female adults and 1 teen. I love it here

I put 5 stars, but why? It's all about expectations. (1) Their combos offer amazing value for the money. Is the food great? No! But the portions are amazing. (2) Are their entrees good? My wife and I love the Walnut Shrimp. We get it everytime. Everything else we have tried has ranged from okay to gross. But again, this isnt P.F. Chang's. Instead it is the best possible version of a greasy hole in the wall. (3) They are fast. Call in my order, hop in car, drive 10 minutes. Ready everytime. I urge you to try them and order a bunch of different things until you find one you like. Then just stick with the good stuff.

The first time I came here I ordered chicken chow mein fried rice and chow fun. The portions were so amazing and the food was so delicious that we had to come back again! I'm a vegetarian and I'm glad there were a few vegetarian options that also came in bigger portions. I'm here a second time to try their vegetable chow mein to go. The space of the restaurant is a bit tiny, but considering a lot of people come in to pick up orders that were called ahead, the space didn't really matter. There are also about 6 large tables if you decide to dine-in instead. The location of the area in my opinion compares to the saying "a diamond in the rust". A comparable authentic Chinese restaurant that can is easily missed. 5 stars for Jade China for delicious food and fast service! Definitely recommend. Thanks guys.

I had that with 2 main items: Kung Pao Chicken and Vegetable Tofu and it sent me to palate heaven! Unfortunately, i ate the food before I thought taking a picture of it. Oops!

I had trouble with choosing over dinner and wanted to try a new place. I made a large order of house chow mien, s&s pork, mapo tofu, chicken with nuts, beef with broccoli, mixed vegetables, fried wontons, and fried cream cheese wontons an hour before closing and they were able to make the food ready within 20 minutes. I picked it up for take out and saw the space to be warm, welcoming, and clean. Staff were friendly. Food picked up was hot. When I got home food was fragrant. All the food I listed above tasted so good. Not salty and not too sweet. Just right. My family and I are looking forward to try other stuff from the menu and try their soups too. Great job to the staff.

We recently had a celebration of life ceremony for our Nana and needed food for approximately 80-90 people. Lynn was amazing and was able to help us with the catering order. Food was good and not to mention, they give a good size portion for each tray which goes a long way. I’m thankful for the help they provided to our family.

This is a take away place with limited seating, we saw plenty of people coming in for orders they’d placed over the phone and for order they placed in person. The lady at the till was lovely, we did the $11 (without tip) lunch set menu that allows us 3 items (carbs & 2 protein) and shared it between 2 people because we weren’t that hungry. They said 10 minutes but the food came super fast & they gave us paper plates & plastic forks to eat. We also used the bathroom & the lady on the register gave us the key. There was some tissue on the floor & you could see that customers had vandalized parts of the bathroom but it was still cleanish. The lady at the register was the sweetest asking if we needed anything else. The chowmein was just a tad under seasoned and the sweet & sour pork was a bit dry but the kung pao chicken was really good! Portions were good too 👍🏼

The best place for Chinese food. I won't go anywhere else. Tried many other places in town but the food doesn't compare. And pretty reasonable. The place is pretty small, so not really a place to bring the whole family for dinner. Better off taking it home.

Good Chinese food. I used to come here all the time when it was the OG location. I go to the one on Berryessa now. But if I don't want to drive to far and I want to order something quick and not complicated, I'll come to the Monterey location. Staff is nice too. I should probably frequent this place more often.

Great for parties. The spiciness is light, and the chicken is always cooked well. Someone should remove the website though, it directs to another restaurant entirely and that one sucks in comparison.

Good food. Prices keep going up, but the food is good, and the place is cleaner now than it was before. Good spot for take-out.

Super very good service and the food is awesome I just came from L.A. and this food is gooood the pretty lady is kind and sweet she knows how to take care of costumers but all that not compare to the food is good and cheap. The food was good, different from traditional Chinese fast food. They cooked the food fresh when we ordered. The orange chicken was delicious. The place could've been slightly cleaner, but no major issues. Make sure they return your card/money, because the lady forgot.

Get lots of food fast and cheap. Great for parties. My friends and I have been coming here for years. Certainly not the best Chinese food in the world, but it's pretty good and cheaper than panda express. When you're in the mood for greasy food this is the place. Only down side is this location doesn't have calamari.

My wife brought me home Honey Walnut Shrimp. I received it cold but the size of the shrimp made me go wow! It was delicious and I couldn't finish it. The following week I went back and told the counter guy my last week experience, I own a restaurant and I know they love positive feedback. Guess what I did? I ordered it again and ate it in the parking lot in my car. It was very hot and much better than I expected. I'm now afraid to try anything else. I looked for shrimp & lobster sauce but did not have. That WAS my go to dish!

Take out wasn’t anything special. Waited 5 or so minutes but order was complete. Egg rolls on point. No fortune cookies 😢Got attitude and made to wait when I asked for hot sauce. #IlikeSriracha

Gone through a few ownership changes since we've been eating there. Prices are so high now. At this point the quality of food is no longer quite worth the price they are charging. Years ago, Lita of the neighborhood ate here because you received huge amounts of food for cheap, and you could fill the belly's of your family members. Not anymore.

I wanted a plate combo of rice, broccoli, sweet n sour witch was around $25. Now I have to buy individually and it came out to $70. Horrible system
