Opinions de Phở Kim Long San Jose
We’re regulars at this place. The portions are generous, and the prices are affordable for the Bay Area, which makes it a great value. Whenever we’re craving pho, this is always our go-to spot. It’s usually pretty busy and there’s often a line to get in.
The foods are really yummy but toilet not clean. Highly recommend Bun Rieu with freshly made noodle. But all items are good! Push👍👍
Today, we went to shopping at Great Mall. By lucky, we trained Pho Kim Long, 金龙, a Vietnamese–Chinese restaurant chain best known for its flavorful pho and broad menu. It has notable locations in both San Jose, CA and Las Vegas, NV—each with its own character. I would recommend this one as the Best pho spot I’ve been. The food has been consistent In addition to Pho, their double paned fried noodles with very rich seafood and source, lots verges, is very good.
The pho and the coffee were really good! everything was delicious. did not have to wait long and was helped and served right away.
It was our first time at this restaurant and the pho was just delicious. The weather was super cold below 50 degrees and the pho hit the spot. Table behind us was very loud and it made it somewhat difficult to enjoy our meal…it would be nice to consider some music so other folks don’t have to listen to others unpleasant talks. Otherwise quick and great service and we waited less than ten minutes for our soups. We will definitely be back!
Between the three of us, we got the phở sườn bò (pho + short rib with the bone in) and bún chả cá thịt nướng (rice noodles, fried fish, and grilled pork). These two menu items were enough to fill us up, and everything tasted amazing. Given that pur food came out in a timely manner, we look forward to coming back again sometime.
Best Pho place around. Long lines during lunch and dinner. Big portions and very decent prices. Flavor is excellent. Alot of special dishes that are not found at other Pho restaurants. Furniture is pretty new. Can seat large groups . Parking is crowded at dinner time. Bottom line, taste is so yummy!
Very big restaurant that is quite busy. Went on a weekday lunch time and it was packed! There’s 2 big rooms and outdoor seating, we were able to get a table without waiting but the place was full. We ordered a combo pho, large size. There was a lot of noodles and I wish they gave more meat. The taste was great and I love the generous garnishing. I would come here again to try the other dishes. Parking is very limited.
Pho Kim Long in San Jose is hands down the best Vietnamese restaurant I've tried in Canada and America. They offer a wide variety of delicious dishes, and I especially loved the Pho Suon Bo, Com Tam, and Pho Chien. The fresh Pho noodles made me miss Vietnam a lot. The staff are friendly, and the restaurant is clean with plenty of space. If you're looking for authentic Vietnamese flavors, Pho Kim Long is a must-visit.
Helpful staff! They introduced us to the new dishes on the menu such as #39. The beef tasted amazing! My brother is handicapped and my dad runs a business a few stores down but Kim Long never disappoints on it's service to prioritize us! One staff helped my handicapped brother pay for the food by taking our cash and ringing it up himself instead of inconveniently waiting in line. We always come here weekly since it's right next to us. Great food and drinks! We definitely recommend.
Walked in and knew this was not your ordinary Vietnamese restaurant. Love their pho. Great dining experience overall.

Back after awhile. Their quality of food still maintained and good service from the waitress. I love their spring roll and fried egg rolls equally. The soup with ground meat and crab was awesome.

Amazing pho! It was a cold Sunday and wanted something warm. The service was great and fast. We go our food in minutes. Lots of tables and a bar area for solo people. Will definitely go back soon!

The pho here is good. We ordered the Bun Cha, beef pho and Bun Bo Hue. The Bun Cha was the best in my opinion. I liked it better than their beef pho and Bun Bo Hue. Came here at 10 am and there’s no line and it was pretty empty.
Food comes with large portion in a reasonable price. Great place to get some comfort food.
This is one of the better Vietnamese restaurant. They offer wide variety of Vietnamese food. I like their short ribs the best. And their big bone short ribs pho is also very good. But I liked the soup base in their pho noodle. And they give you a good portion for the price that you're paying. It has high CP value.
I just place an ordered with Pho Kim Long, online. Customer service at the restaurant was nice, and I want it delivered which they did. I was also going to tip the doodash guy, because I know they make money from tip. But the doodash person was so rude to me, he keep saying I can't speak English and I texted to him in Spanish. Like I understand you, just gives me the ETA. Because at first it say 5:45pm, then it say 5:58 pm. Then it said 6:05 pm, I was like how long will it take you to deliver my food? When he got to my apartment he was moody and told me off. If this delivery driver, wasn't moody and talk to me nicely. I would have given him $20 tip, I even have the cash with me.
This long-established pho shop has always been popular, with lines forming every day, but they move quickly. There are actually many pho shops like this in South San Jose, but I think the difference is the broth isn't make you feel thirsty, and the beef is good. There aren't any fresh noodles available, but the dry noodles are cooked well, not too soft, and have just the right texture. The price reasonable , you pay at front cashier .
I had heard a lot of good things about this restaurant and finally had the chance to try it. We ordered the fried fish sizzling plate and the crispy noodles with pork. Overall, the food was decent, but not particularly impressive. The fried fish sizzling plate is similar to a Vietnamese spring roll experience, but with a fried fish flavor. you get to make your own rolls, which is a fun touch. The restaurant itself is quite loud, so I’d recommend sitting outdoors if the weather allows. One thing that stood out (in a not-so-good way😬was the interior…specifically the white walls. If you’re going to use white walls, they should be kept clean. Sitting and staring at the stains definitely took away from the dining experience😞
This restaurant has been on my want to go list for a while, and I finally got to try it! I ordered their No. 33 Bun Bo Hue, which is spicy round noodle soup with pork, beef, pork blood cubes, chả Huế (pork patties), pork knuckles, and some fresh herbs. The broth was flavorful, the noodles were cooked to the right texture, and all the ingredients were delicious! I also got their No. 15 Cafe Sua Da, which is iced coffee with condensed milk, which was amazing as well! One dish that I would love to try next time is the Bun Cha, which is grilled fish and BBQ pork with vermicelli noodles!
Came here solo for lunch around 12 on a Wednesday. The place was packed, so they had me sit outside. The is great and they have a of unique items on the menu, other than pho. It took a bit for someone to take my order, but once it was in, the food came out pretty fast. I got the bún bò Huế (large, $17.59) and the gỏi cuốn (2 rolls, about $6.50). The bún bò Huế had great flavor, but it came with this massive chunk of pork that was mostly fat, also there was not much beef either, which was kind of disappointing. The spring rolls were fresh, but the peanut sauce was way too sweet and didn’t really taste like peanuts. One thing to note: if you sit outside, don’t expect any kind of service unless you wave someone down. No check-ins, no water refills, nothing. Not sure if it’s different inside, but it kind of felt like they focus more on food quality than customer service. When you are done you also have to go up to the counter to pay and tell them your table number. No need to tip here honestly.
Food: I have been here with my friends and family multiple times and it’s really good! The flavor never disappoints us. I love Bun a lot but I’ve also tried their pho and fried egg noodles. Everything is great and worth the wait! Service: they are super busy so make sure you get their attention if you need help. Ambiance: casual and sort of cozy. (The floor is a bit greasy)

We came here late, 7:30th pm so we did not have to wait like everyone else. Service: you have to tolerate the wait as most of the employees just drop off your food and took off without looking or asking if you need extra utensils, etc. Foods: Com Suong Nuong Opla (Pork Chop with egg) - pork chop was not bad, a little bit on the salty side. Bun Rieu Oc - was alright. Too tomato-Y. Cha Ca Va Long (grilled fish with Tumeric and dill) - comes with herbs and rice paper so you literally have to make your own wraps/ rolls. Then dip in the fermented fish paste. Fish are very flaky and very good flavor but the mam sauce was just plain and nothing special. Nothing like Anh Hong’s yummy Mam Sauce. But then this is north V food. Same same but different. I would return for the grilled fish dunk it in the regular nuong mam (fish sauce) instead of the fermented fish mam sauce.
The place is huge and wait is not bad. Always busy when I come here.\nI always come for bun rieu and it's pretty good. Maybe next time I will try pho

I came here today and unfortunately didn’t have a good experience. I ordered the chicken vermicelli bowl, and after a few bites, I noticed the chicken was undercooked inside because the center was still pink and soft. I let our server know, and they offered to remake the bowl. However, my partner then checked his grilled pork vermicelli and his pork patty was also pink inside, which raised additional food safety concerns for us. We brought this up and the manager came out and apologized. While I appreciate the apology, it was concerning that two different meats came out undercooked at the same table. That made it difficult for us to feel confident continuing the meal. It’s disappointing because I’ve liked this place in the past, but after this experience we don’t feel comfortable returning….
First of all, the place felt very dirty. When the server brought the pho, the glove they had been wearing all day actually went into the soup while serving it. That alone made the experience very uncomfortable. Also, the service from the lady at the register was not great. Her tone was very blunt and unfriendly. When you go up to pay at the counter, you’re prompted to leave a tip, which felt unnecessary given the overall experience.
This place never turns on heater inside. Today is cold but instead of using heater, they turn on AC, it was so freaking cold already, we didnt want to be more freezing. Dont make your customers suffering, please be mindful of the temp outside.
I changed my rating after dining at this restaurant more than seven times. I noticed that my friend (female) and I were always served only one plate of garnishes, even though we ordered two bowls of pho. However, when two men ordered two bowls of pho at the neighboring table, each of them received their own plate of garnishes. We never requested to share the garnishes, nor did we mention paying together the bill. We always tipped after every meal. This difference in treatment made me question their service practices. Yummy. We ordered pho #1,#21 regular size, both of them are good. The only thing is that the parking lot is not easy to find a parking spot.
