Four beers on tap: an IPA and four amber or yellow ones. I had the fish and chips, as did the couple next to me. My brother had a chicken sandwich. Food was nommed, beer was consumed. The bartenders were working it and nothing took much time after getting ordered.
I've been to a few eateries in airports, and this place by far treats you right. As it's in an airport, not too many repeat diners, but I tell ya, this staff and management treats you like a long time, returning customer. They just get it!! Customer service is second to none. Keep it up, and you are my goto in SJC from now on.
Food was good. Tater tots were amazing. Had an hour to waste on a delayed flight. Way better option compared to other fast food and restaurants in the airport.
A delicious breakfast before waiting for boarding. The burgers here are not special but delicious. The staff is the most praiseworthy, and the smiling service will make you feel happy all day.
Had breakfast here @ 6 am on a weekend for the first time and it was a great experience. I ordered a breakfast sandwich, which included scrambled eggs, bacon, pepper jack cheese on a brioche bun with a side of tater tot hash. It was delicious and satisfying! On a previous trip, I made the mistake of eating at the bagel shop next door. Don't go there, save your $ , time, or what have you. and just eat here! You won't regret it! The table service was awesome. Brandy, the waitress was friendly and attentive. Great customer service skills! I'll definitely be back.
I had the grilled post roast melt. It was actually delicious. I added the tots, which were a little cool, but not cold. I'm not a huge fan of sourdough bread, but this bread was beautifully grilled and the "sour" was not overwhelming. I was pleasantly surprised. The wait staff are excellent. The atmosphere is fine for being in an airport and the food is delicious. Food is a little pricey for the quantity, but I can't fault the taste or service, so all in all I would eat here again!
Southwest Terminal in San Jose Airport / flight was delayed, figured I stop for a quick bite and a cocktail. Ordered the chicken tenders with fries and I was suprised the quality of the chicken tenders tasted homemade (super tender, juicy, seasoned, overall tasty) it came with French fries. These fries seemed to be twice fried and also homemade not frozen! Dennis was a great bartender - gracious and attentive! When I arrived there was 1 person on the bar but when I left every seat was full good times!!

Latonya, my server, was AMAZING! . . . so friendly, polite, and accommodating. She generously provided some great places in the area to check out, and checked back on me regularly to see if I needed anything. The Avocado Smash Burger was EXCELLENT and the fries were AMAZING (crispy and hot) . . . especially for an airport pub . . . Loved EVERYTHING . . . will definitely stop in here again!

Overall not too bad. Service was fine, fast and friendly, food was tasty. Got some tater tots and a grilled chicken sandwich with avocado on it, tomato’s and stuff. Only complaint: The patty for the chicken was really small.
10-25-2021 1:32 PM Food was very good!! My daughter and I had plenty of time until our next flight, and some airline meal vouchers to spend, so we chose Tap & Pour for lunch. There was a line with about 12 people ahead of us, but it moved steadily, so we were seared after about ten minutes or so. There were plugs at the tables, which was convenient for device charging. Servers were busy, so it was a few minutes before our waitress appeared. We were given one menu to share. (If we had available data on a device we could have scanned for menu and ordering.) I selected the Cali Club Burger - I asked for no bun and extra lettuce. My daughter selected the BBQ Sandwich (chicken). And we split the Loaded Tots. We opted for water to drink. Food was very good. Fresh, satisfying.
What’s up with the negative reviews!? We truly had a pleasant experience. Our server today was Latonya. She was friendly, personable and efficient! I had the Cobb salad, which was delicious & a full meal. Mr. Wonderful had the Cali-Burger, with fries. There was nothing left on his plate. The fries were hot and crisp, just as they should be. I had a (pre-boarding) dirty martini with a splash of jalapeno juice - soooo good! Nick enjoyed a Modelo beer, on-tap. As mentioned before, pleasant experience - calm, relaxing environment, clean. Plenty of seating.
Sat at the bar, watched some sports and ate a good meal. Pub Burger was awesome, simple but tasted great.
So today my server was Jessica. I had ordered a Pepsi plus a hamburger with no cheese but also no pickles because when I asked the cook if they had any pickles, they said no. I mean come on a cheeseburger with no pickles? They must not know me pretty well however it was still pretty good cause the burger was cooked medium which that is the way I usually like all of my burgers even when I cook them at home. Afterwards, I paid in which I wanted to give a 30 percent tip but then that would have been too much so I only did the 10 percent giving me a decent and easy amount to pay but the server accidentally labeled it as ginger ale in which I’m thinking that I did not order that drink so I went to question her about it and she said it was fine and that was about it. I would give her service a 4-star rating since she has done the job so well for 3 years.
Not sure why all the bad reviews. It’s an airport diner so not out of this world but the service is great, the food and the beer good. Only thing that would have made it better is a lower pricing ($12 for a modelo is crazy, even in the valley) and a drinks list as overheard a lot of people asking for one.
Did not try the food. Just had beer. They have 4 beers on tap which was odd as they are called Tap & Pour. Was expecting more. They have some bottles too but maybe 8-12 taps would have been better. Also, beer selection was limited. 805 Hazy Ipa Stella Modello Grateful that it was right next to my gate though.

Fairly mediocre airport restaurant. Service was acceptable, the bar tender seemed disinterested and kept avoiding by going to the kitchen every so often. Maybe they were short staffed. Food order and delivery was quick but the food absolutely lacked flavor. May try again as very few other options at this airport but the 1st experience was underwhelming
3 hour layover. Thought we’d do a pub crawl. After reading reviews decided to order a drink and french fries. We observed friendly reception, 3 people cleaning, Greyhound was tasty, and the garlic fries were tasty. Very surprised by the $17 for the Greyhound!!
Sat at the bar and ordered a burger right before my flight. It came out quickly and was cooked evenly. The french fries were decent (I don’t normally eat fried food but made an exception today because I was in a rush). The bar tender was sweet and attentive.

Was empty even as next door the line for the Bagel restaurant (no sit-down) was long. We figured e needed a sit down and plus lots of empty seats. It quickly became apparent why so few eat here: waitstaff seemed uninterested in any concept of service but when she did come was she wasnt rude, just business. I ordered the American breakfast which turned out to be a sad tasteless affair: bacon was limp, eggs were luke warn and tasteless. Even the toast seemed off. It's 100 percent clear the owner does not give a crap. I will be trying the Bagel line next time. It's hard to make good taste this tasteless.
They like to encourage you to sit at the bar versus actually offering you a table, and then when they decided it’s OK that you sit at a table they wipe it down and leave it wet from what smells like a bar rag. The whole place smells like a bar rag actually.
Ohhh, this is why this place has such low score. Servers aren't empowered to resolve issues. Manager is not onsite. Food was fine. Drinks were fine.

I'm here at least once a month and normally the service here is fine and everyone is really nice and attentive. This time I had a server (said she's been here for 12 years to someone else ) and she literally refused to make eye contact with me for the entire duration of my visit (which was between 3-4p), once my drink had been ordered. I had planned on having food, but was not able to. She helped everyone else around me, but apparently I was invisible. I didn't even want to finish my one drink due to my irritation level. I wanted to leave zero tip as well, but just couldn't bring myself to do it even though she sucked.
Service was impatient and tried to trick me on the tip by using the device to try and make me tip over 20%. I caught it, but watch carefully when they bring your card. Food was the MOST bland shit I've eaten in years. And I'm a wildland firefighter who has to rely on MREs at times. Like, the FRIES weren't even salted? And only 4 beers? At a place called TAP AND POUR? At LEAST they had Modelo
Did not bring what was ordered and when asked if I could get what was ordered waitress rolled her eyes.
Food wasn’t bad - actually a decent breakfast. And staff behind the bar was prompt and friendly. The younger staff (including what appeared to be a manager) was UNHINGED. They argued, swore at each other, were rude and short with customers, talked about back of house stuff LOUDLY. It was so uncomfortable. As if they were totally oblivious to customers even being here. Ate as fast as I could and took my business elsewhere.
$15.99 and we got 3/4 of a small waffle per person. Price gouging at its finest when the consumer has no other food options. The only thing that made this worthwhile was the excellent waitress who was like a ray of sunshine. She really is a treasure. we are going to go find some more food now but the $16 avocado toast was only one slice at the other place so Im not holding my breath! Do better America! Only a burger offered for vegetarian. No vegan options
Extremely rude staff. Would expect nothing more from an airport location, but the two staff members who spoke with me were truly abhorrent.
Terrible service. Server refused to let us order for almost ten minutes… it’s an airport restaurant… why would you refuse to take an order promptly? My wife asked for water with no ice, but the water arrived with ice. When I reminded the server of this and kindly asked for water with no ice, she made a rude face as though she was annoyed. She refused to take our order until we had our drinks arrive to the table (why?). Once we were able to order, we waited twenty minutes and she returned to the table and asked us what we ordered because “the kitchen lost the order”. In other words she forgot and came back to ask us. We cancelled at this point and left hungry because we no longer had time to wait for the food. Never again!
Amazingly terrible. The waffles are the ones with sugar in them from Costco. Took them directly from the package and put them on the plate. Not even warm. Zero effort. Coffee sucks. I feel bad for the workers. Soooo overpriced. Go out for sushi instead
Update: the manage lied as well. No refund issued. I called band to dispute this charge. I cannot find this restaurant in BBB. I will file a complaint in Santa Clara FDB. I ordered cheese burger and the server kept asking if I need bbq then she served a bbq burger with extra $3. The server asked me how much tip. I said 10% due to the wrong dish. Turned out the receipt shows 20% tips. The manager chimed in said they will give me partial refund. I need to check my account in 48 hours. Honestly I do not trust this restaurant. They make money by cheating.
Ruell, (spelling) was the most rude Manager He is costing you business and should be fired immediately. Have never been treated this bad. The Food Servers were very nice and tried to save the situation. No wonder your reviews are this low Will never return
Like most airport restaurants tap and pour is over priced for a sub par experience. Service proves that customer service is dying. Especially if they know your choices are limited. Eaten here a couple times. Once the waitress forgot to put in my food order and I had to cash out to make my flight. It was a crazy enough situation to make me think it might be a strategy for a lazy staff since they assume they won't have to deal with you. I recommend going next door to the great American bagel company. Better, faster service and you get a decent bagel in the end.
I must be invisible. The server seemed to be attentive to all the other customers but never approached me.
This is a “Seat Yourself “ place. Tables were dirty which dissuaded people from sitting down. Those who dared, you say at a dirty table while you ordered food. Staff didn’t appear to be proactive with table side service. It took an effort for someone to stop by my table to remove items left behind by other people. **Note: Each waiter/waitress is assigned to a set of tables. The person assigned to me walked by quite a few times without saying a word. The worse service! If you have a choice such as grab and go, don’t grab, just go! This place is overpriced considering the service and quality of food.
Maybe the worst treatment I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Got off a long flight and wanted to get a quick drink. Was greeted by a young lady who yelled at me to move because she was mopping. Then cursed at me when I asked if i could just put my bag down and grab a quick drink. No wonder there was nobody in here. Absolute joke. Try being nice to customers who are jet lagged and would like to enjoy a drink after when arriving.
Winner of the Worst Restauarant to Dine at SJC! Had to give it a second shot before eating and simply wasted more money. Sat waiting at the bar for a menu for over 15 minutes while everyone else sat around me was given one. Practically everything was out of stock for breakfast and found that out as I was given French fries with eggs. The eggs were less seasoned than the ones you serve a dog on its birthday. No love in the food, shoddy service, no music, and airport prices make this by far the worst place to spend time before flights in San Jose.
Food was fine. Atmosphere is typical for an airport terminal. The server was awful. We were the only people there due to a very early flight. We sat at a table for four because another couple was joining us, but we’re moving more slowly through security…maybe a total of 10 minutes until they caught up to us. The server rudely said, “I told you to sit at a table for 2” so we informed her we were waiting for the other couple. After taking our order she came by three more times making snarky comments about whether the other couple was coming. Within 10 minutes, probably less, they arrived. Food was served quickly, which is always appreciated. When presenting the check and processing the credit card she asked, “would you like to tip 18, 20, or 22 percent?” I gave 18% but should have given less. After processing the check, and with over half of the tables still empty, she made another snarky comment about needing the table. I fully understand that airports get busy and seats at restaurants need to turn quickly, but when that many tables are empty and nobody is waiting to get in, this server could have been a lot less rude.
There should be 0-star rating. Infact this restaurants license should be revoked. The attitude of the waiters was downright rude. We were made to wait inside standing drinking our beer. Our waiter was decent but the manager or Owner essentially told us all the inside seating was reserved. Half the tables were empty. Beer on tap was good but I will never step foot in this lousy joint
Stood at the entrance waiting to get hostess attention, who was talking to another employee. Finally, she said sit anywhere near the bar. First table was dirty so we sat nearby. OK, sat and sat. After no service or attention, we moved. Ordered two Mimosas and we split the meal. Afterwards Waitress comes with card swipe and asks how much to tip 18, 20 or 22 per cent. Wimpy me I said 18 should of given half that. Well got bill over $80 for one plate waffles and chicken and two mimosas. Place not recommended, lots of waiting, no attention and expensive. No prices on the menu for drinks. Watch out!
I got food poisoning here on 3/18/25. I dunno if it was the hamburger (was it left out to thaw too long)? or the ranch (which is supposed to be refrigerated but came to me in an individual container, not cold at all). VERY POOR FOOD HANDLING DO NOT EVER EAT HERE unless you want to empty the contents of your stomach and gut.
Terrible customer service. Left over a 15% tip automatically. Just the absolute worst. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
Worst service I have ever experienced at any airport restaurant! I was seated at a table and waited 45 minutes without a single staff member acknowledging me or taking my order, despite my repeated attempts to get their attention. When I finally decided to leave, I asked the waitress why I hadn't been served. Her response was that it "wasn't her table to serve." I then requested to speak with a manager, but the bartender told me no manager was available. This restaurant clearly has management issues and unhappy employees, which directly impacts customer service. This was by far the worst dining experience in my entire travel history. I'm considering documenting this poor service on video during my next visit to share on my channel. If you need a place to sit and relax and charge your gadgets you can use this place at free of cost. You can stay as long as you want. No one will ask you. But don’t have any hopes to eat here. 😀.
Went to tap and pour at san jose airport. Bar tender was amazing and food was good. I will never go back. $20 shot of Jameson and doing their best to suck money out of their customers.
Seat yourself—you’ll wait a long time if you’re expecting to be seated. Scan your menu on the table. (Which, by the way, the table wasn’t very clean.). Place was pretty empty; there seemed to be one server and one at bar. If you sit at bar, you’ll get faster service. Food took a while but server was very sweet and hustling. Ordered the All American breakfast—they only serve breakfast in the morning; after 10am, they offer lunch items. On what I ordered, the Tot hash was very greasy and mushy. Egg was greasy but ok., with tobasco and me adding salt. Bacon was soft and chewy, (worse than fast food bacon). A bit pricey for the quality of food. Would’ve been better off, staying on the long line for a bagel just a few steps away.
The food was horrible. I got the American breakfast, it was microwaved bacon, Funny tasting liquid eggs and some reheated tater tots blended up. 🤢 I would say any airport food would be a better bet thank this place, better off with McDonald’s breakfast or some snacks at the convient store. I feel bad for the waiter, I would be so embarrassed to serve food like that
Dear owner. You’re losing money due to incredibly bad management. While I was waiting 5 min for a table (many open tables) the lady next to me gave up and left. The manager was rudely shooing the customers in front of me out of the way like they were children. Then the table was dirty (see attached). When I politely asked the manager to have it cleaned, he was rude. Then when I wasn’t ready to order because I was trying to get my table cleaned, the waitress was rude. I don’t really blame her. Your manager is setting the tone. But in the end, I gave up. Just couldn’t bring myself to pay for food in a place where the staff is so rude. Wound up at Jim Stumps. Much better experience.

The worst service ever. Very rude servers took them 10 min to acknowledge people standing on line and another 10 to seat them down although they had many tables open. Servers were telling jokes behind the bar and not doing anything. I had time to kill before my flight if not I would have just walked away.
Party of three. We were waiting for 10 minutes to someone to acknowledge our presence, then were ignored by a waiter - Modesa (not sure about the name, middle-edge woman, with curly dark hair, partially died blond), and on our question “can we just pull a chair to a table for two” she rudely cut us and said no. Another employee then said that we can seat in the outside area, which we did and again, were ignored for 10 minutes, with Modesa walking around, taking orders from others, cleaning table and purposely walking around us as if we weren’t there. Didn’t try food, decided to leave. Safe time and energy, and go grab food at Chick-fill-A near by
