Opinions de Pacific Seafood San Leon
The staff was great. Drinks were always filled and needs always met without asking. 5 stars. We'll be back and telling everyone how amazing the service and food was!
Excellent. We had fresh oysters, crab cake, fried and blackened shrimp. Onion rings were great and side vegetables were fresh.
Recently moved to the area so we have spent a lot of time trying out local eateries and let me tell you PACIFIC SEAFOOD IS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Being a Cajun from Louisiana, good food runs threw my blood and this place is a hit EVERYTIME!! Never crowded! Food is always fresh and piping hot!
The Shrimp po-boy is just perfect and precise everytime I ordered. Loaded full of perfectly fried shrimp. Service is awesome, cleanliness is a plus. Glad you guys added beer and wine. Husband pleased as well.... Will recommend this dining establishment to friends and family. Thanks for great food and service.
I’m glad I walked into this restaurant. But had not done a review in a while. (400,000 views) The food speaks for itself, you can tell the person who makes it is skilled because it was very good. Service was friendly, very spacious and had large portions. I wish the owner success and I will visit again.
This place is a hidden gem. Very quiet great food with great portions for the price and the service was excellent!
Went here today and ordered pacific platter, and the way they cooked the fish is so good! It was crispy on the outside and tender and moist inside! Very friendly staff too. They also have a nice ambience. We will definitely go back here. I recommend this place !
All I can say is the food was delicious. The blackened red fish was cooked to perfection. Our waitress Lety was wonderful. Thanks.
Always delicious food with great service. The crawfish are one of my favorites. Great flavor and prices
Fantastic food amazing service absolutely reasonable prices! Poboys are overflowing, red snapper is the best I've had in YEARS! a definite must try! Everyday they have a new special! Food so good you're lips will beat your face to get more. .
All 6 of us had very good food, appetizers and entrees. The food was hot, substitutions were no problem and our waitress , Brenda, was great. The owner/chef came out several times to make sure everything was to our liking. The price was right as well. We will be back.
Had dinner tonight with family. A wonderful experience. Waitress was awesome ( forgot her name...so sorry) she was very attentive and accommodating. Food was delicious. We had no complaints. Will definitely be returning.
Needless to say, I don't have any pics of our food...because it was perfectly delicious. We didn't want to wait at Topwater Grill (no offense they were doing it right, just too long to wait) so we decided to come here. My wife had been recommended this place and we were not disappointed. Four stars for atmosphere, because there is no outdoor seating. But, please don't let that stop you. You must try this place.
First time customer not disappointed. Brother, who is a frequent flyer here, brought us to feast. Great food served hot in large portions. Wonderful meal of authentic seafood fried or grilled.
Carmen and waitress Juliana, I thank you for this beautiful moment, a restaurant with excellent dishes and people with a great atmosphere, many thanks.
This is the best place in San Leon to eat. Their service is great. They have the best crawfish in the area. Much better than their competitors.
Good, fresh seafood. The AC wasn't working properly in the front dining area, and our server, Leticia, put us in the large room in the back where it was much cooler. The service and food were great, and we'll be back.
Brenda took care of us today and she was a doll! We were looking for the best $deal in the area. While they aren't on the water...we were so impressed and will come back. Husband got fried shrimp with onion rings...I borrowed some to drench in Ranch and add to my poorboy, that was overflowing with little fried shrimp. The toasted bread was so fresh. Delicious!!
Nice fried fish platter, 4 pieces of fish and real skinny onion rings, delicious. Same with the shrimp platter, if you don't want onion rings you can order fries. The chicken breast sandwich was large it had grilled onions 3 slices of avocado bacon with cheese melted on top, I asked for the bbq sauce on the side, it came with fries. So the food was great and about the same price as most other places. We had a great meal and visit here, thank you guys.
It’s been a while but same results. Stuffed flounder with rice and veggies were fantastic. Wife had a great ribeye with mashed potatoes and veggies. Ribeye was really great. Come check this place out. These seats should be FULL.
First of all...if you haven't been...go. Stop everything and go. We need to support this place to help them stay open. I will say that when reading their menu, it didn't seem to really grab me...just typical seafood...nothing fancy. However absolutely everything we ordered (which was a lot) was awesome!!!! My mother in law ordered the a dozen raw oysters ($15.99 a dozen!!)...these were HUGE. One was at least 6 inches long. I am not kidding. She also ordered a pacific cheese burger and fries, and she said it was perfectly cooked and seasoned well. We started with a bowl of shrimp chowder ($6.99 for a huge bowl), which was really delicious...full of tiny shrimp, corn, carrots, potatoes etc. and topped with two large grilled shrimp with the tails on. My hubby ordered the seafood pasta ($17.99). It was a huge plate that was stacked with all different kind of seafood, tomatoes, mushrooms etc. The sauce was light, more like a light scampi sauce. He loved it. My daughter ordered the grilled salmon. It was served with grilled veggies, seasoned rice, and a really good lemon butter sauce. She really enjoyed it and didn't leave a bite of salmon on the plate. And I ordered a dozen of the grilled oysters. Perfectly grilled with butter and parm cheese. They were huge. I had to cut them into pieces to eat them. Also was served with toasted bread pieces to slop up the oyster juicy goodness. I last had the prestige oyster at Pier 6 and found that these at Pacific seafood were just as good and perhaps even a little better in my opinion...and the price point was great! ($8.99 a half dozen) Service was stellar, as well.
I've eaten here twice and had two very good meals. The salads are HUGE, and have a good mix of veggies on top of the greens/lettuce. I've had the seafood trio, and the ribeye and both were excellent and a good value. The ambience is nice enough for a date, but laid back enough for eating alone.
Food was delicious and we will definitely be back soon. Only question is why is there a service charge added to the bill for party of 8 people? We thought it was the added gratuity for the waitress but found out it was not and feel really bad for not leaving her a tip. We will be back and also plan to add extra tip to her for her great service.
Excellent seafood. They don't hold back on the amount either. Big bowls of gumbo and tasty blackened fish. Jalapeno stuffers and the shrimp kiss was excellent. Just don't fill up too fast on appetizers. This place needs more attention. Lunch menu has great size meal and sweet spot on the prize.
Hey PS❣️🐟🦀🦐🐟I wish y’all would offer a smaller version of the Cóctel de Camarones and a smaller side salad⁉️💋 If you did, I’d happily order this combo for takeout 2-3 x a week❣️ PLEASE CONSIDER IT⁉️TY❣️I’m new to the area, so Pacific Seafood was my first take out chow, on the evening of my move. I was starving like Marvin. The Shrimp Camarones is THE bomb, with lots of succulent shrimp, diced cucumber, avocado & a perfect amount of diced jalapeño, imo❣️Also had a generous house salad and everything was FRESH❣️ And, ripe, sliced tomatoes, not those hard cherry ones; much tastier, imo. The staff were very pleasant and attentive. I’m about to head there again, so thought I’d drop a review. I’d only add a suggestion for a couple of fresh desserts, like a mango & banana or strawberry & pineapple fruit cup or a hacked “tiramisu.” Desserts that’d be easy & fast to make in prep. And, smaller, like $3 or 3.50, so we locals can add more to our burger or fish basket order, without busting our less-blessed wallets. And, more $ for PS.:)
Fast, friendly service, food was good, had crawfish i prefer not to use the liquid seasoning but overall was yummy, the chicken fried chicken was yummy, menu selections vary which is great and the price isn't too expensive. Recommend you try this place anytime 😊
I've heard the seafood here is really great! I've seen pictures others have posted and it all looks really delicious!!! But, on this day I came here with them for lunch and we all had burgers on our minds! Based on their recommendations I ordered the Jalapeno and Onion Burger and had bacon put on it all the way. The waitress asked how I'd like my patty cooked and I elected medium! I ordered Fries with mine with sweet tea. Everyone else pretty much ordered the same as I did! It wasn't very long that they were bringing our orders out and the burgers were huge and really looked delicious at first sight!!! Not only that, they were as good as they looked!!! They brought the mayo and mustard out in containers to add how you liked. I used both. We all really enjoyed our lunches. A couple had to take about half of theirs with them for later!!! The inside of Pacific Seafood is really nice and has a very nice ambience to it. We went on a Thursday and it was just past the lunch hour, so it wasn't really busy. But I'm making plans to come back and try the seafood I've heard so much about! It was a very enjoyable dining experience! I usually take pictures, but we were all starving and I totally neglected to get a few of my burger because it really was very impressive!!!
Our waitress Mary made the whole experience even better. The food was delicious and they had the best bread pudding. Ms. Mary knew the menu and her recommendations were on point and our drinks never were empty.
Pacific Seafood is another alternative to Pier 6. My husband and I usually head to Pier 6 for their oysters, but no longer. The oysters at Pacific Seafood were just as large and tasty, according to my husband. I am not an oyster lover, so I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of menu items. Pacific Seafood has a better selection of grilled and fried foods and burgers. The blackened catfish and grilled vegetables were sooooo good, and Weight Watcher friendly since I am on the program. Also, our service was excellent. We were well taken care of. Bottom line, Pacific Seafood is well worth the visit, great food and great service!
My daughter took me to Pacific seafood today in San Leon because pier six was an hour wait. And I just have to say everything was so delicious from the side vegetables to the salad the shrimp the oysters and the fish is what we got and they were all so good so fresh it was just a really good experience and it wasn’t crowded and it wasn’t packed. Thank you, Pacific Seafood. We will definitely be back.
We love to try new local restaurants. We always pass Pacific Seafood on 146 & 21st Street in San Leon on our way to Pier 6 each week. It is a huge restaurant and the parking lot almost always looks empty. We always say, we should stop and try it. We read the reviews and they all seemed good. Well yesterday we happened to be in the area and decided to stop for lunch. We are really glad we did. The food was fantastic and so was the service. This place is completely overlooked and that is so unfortunate. The catfish and shrimp were fried to perfection. The Grilled Oysters were superb (and we are very picky when it comes to our grilled oysters) They server was super sweet and her service was fantastic. The restaurant was very clean and spacious. Lot's of room for bigger parties. It's sad that it was so empty. I would hate to see this business fail because not enough people know about it or give it a chance. Too many mom & pop businesses fail because of lack of advertising or because people don't give them a chance. This is clearly a family owned business tucked away in San Leon. Trust me.....give this restaurant a try. They offer a great Lunch menu. $10.99 for their fried Seafood Trio (Catfish, Shrimp & Oysters) served with onion rings and Coleslaw. It was delicious! Their Dinner menu and prices looked fantastic too. We will def go back again. Let's help support local businesses and enjoy a great meal at the same time. Give Pacific Seafood in San Leon a try. You won't be disappointed!
Fresh seafood in a family friendly environment. We had the cobb salad with grilled shrimp, and the Pacific Platter with fried catfish, shrimp, oysters. The platter also came with cole slaw, fries and onion strings. If you're looking to escape the Kemah Boardwalk craziness and expense, drive a little further south for reasonably priced and fresh seafood.
Seafood Alfred was good; plenty of protein - mussels, shrimp, and crawfish. Pacific Burger was super tasty! Shrimp Kisses $12.99 (Brochette) with fried onions appetizer was really good. Bacon was cooked perfect and stayed on shrimp a it was eaten. Even the salad was good, fresh and crisp. This will be marked as a favorite! All burgers and sandwiches comes with fries for under $15!
This was the second time my daughter-in-law and I were at Pacific Grill, and we again were served delicious meals. The fried pickles are extraordinary a favorite of my granddaughter. The entrees are outstanding! Gourmet to say the least. Fish is fresh and cooked to perfection. Staff was friendly and efficient. All areas of the restaurant were clean. Try it you will be happy you did.
This is definitely a hidden gem. We went there on a Sunday, after a memorial of life service, and were greeted by a young man who was smiling and very accommodating to the older people in our group. He was knowledgeable of the menu & the special was shrinp done 4 ways for $19.99. We ordered 3 specials to share & a catfish platter & my weird Aunt ordered chicken fingers. The special was AMAZING & the plating was nice. The catfish came with 3 fillets & fried onion strings (thats what I call them) and it was the best catfish my friend has ever had & he has eaten ALOT of catfish all over the states (he was truck driver for 60 yrs). The waiter was very attentive and funny(which we all needed). It was easy for the 7 of us to carry on a conversation with the whole table, even with the 5 hard of hearing older people. The food is amazing & we can't wait until we get to come back to town. And to the young man who waited on us "THANK YOU"!
I can't wait to go back and try other dishes! The place was clean and the service was excellent. We had a lot of questions and our server, Aaron (?) was patient. Our appetizer was the fried crab fingers. They were so good we ordred some to go for a snack later. We kept it simple and got the fried catfish and fish & chips. Catfish was buttery on the inside and the cornmeal batter was well seasoned and light. The fish & chips was bass instead of cod which was amazing and you could actually taste a little beer in the batter! Even the fries were crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside and not just slapped on the plate like you get sometimes. We also had the shrimp cocktail and the horseradish and sauce were served separately so you could adjust the heat to your own preference. Took a cobb salad with shrimp home for my daughter and it was fresh. We also had a sample of the seafood gumbo and I will definitely be ordering some on our next trip. I think the prices are good considering the quality of the food and the care taken in the finished product. Service was great and the place is nice and clean. You should go!!
Pacifico Seafood is a must-visit. We tried their fresh and tasty grilled oysters that were brought to us so fast. My wife had Salmon, and I had the Red Snapper, and we agreed that this was one of the best fish we had recently. Our waitress was fantastic, and the ambiance was pleasing.
Amazing family owned and operated restaurant. Smiling faces, great food, awesome prices.
This place was amazing. We drove 4 hours from other city to spend some time in Galveston and found this place. The food was amazing, they had 3lb crowfish sale going, we tried red fish. Everything was so good and amazing, Micheladas aadded even more flavor. Our waiter Ian? Im sorry if im butchering his name, was so amazing and added even more satisfation to this place. This is must have visit. This is not fancy placy, but the very good place.to.be in! The food Amazing!!!!! We tried oisters too.
Idk why this place wasn’t packed to the gills! We were gonna go to Pier 6 (party of 10) but weren’t gonna be seated for an hour. Understandably. But we were hungry after church on a Sunday. We decided to go down here to Pacific Seafood. Amazing food! We were the only ones there at 12pm on a Sunday. Idk why that was the case, because the catfish was amazing, the portion sizes were amazing for the price. I’m allergic to shellfish but my friends all got the oysters and they said it was great. Especially for it costing what it did! Only gripe was the beer was kind of expensive, however it was about as expensive as it would be anywhere else. Loved the onion rings, loved the fries. They basically give you 3-4 catfish fillets for $18.99. Damn good deal. Will be back after church for sure.
Well we have been to a lot and I mean a lot of seafood restaurants and we normally leave disapointed. Not this time!! We were a little worried because the driveway was somewhat empty for late dinner but dont let that fool anyone. Here we go. From the start to finish service and food was Michelin quality and yes we have dined in several Michelin star restaurants around the states. This place deserves mention by them. In fact I couldnt get my tea half way down before a new glass and more limes were presented to me. OK so the crab Cake appetizer is ok I am still a fan of Papa's seafood crab Cake however the sauce this place uses is simple yet amazing. The sauce complements the crab Cake making for an array of good flavor and makes it outstanding beyond what Pier 6 serves, yes I went there. We ordered the steak and blacked plate with redfish. The steak although thinner than what I like to see was still large and cooked perfectly I mean Perry's could not cook a better steak. The flavor of the steak mimicking a high dollar Waygu had the perfect seasoning on it and perfect marbling. The mashed potatoes are hand made and delicious, dont get me started with the simple mac and cheese its comfort food at its finest. The blackened red fish was a little iver cooked but you can tell the cook or chef cares about his job and cooks from the heart. That redfish was amazing either way. The shrimp are cooked to perfection and the flavor is a explosion of deliciousness. Who in thier right mind would write a survey about broccoli I will the vegetables were steamed so well even the stems of the broccoli were tasteful. I could not believe people were not waiting outside to get in. If you want to dine for finer seafood and steaks without having to dress up is a turtle suit this is the place to be. Get ready to spend some money but its ok because the food is worth it and so is the service. Mary was out waitress and while she was still doing her closing chores she maintained our table and 2 others like it was nothing. Great food home like atmosphere and a friendly staff what more can you ask for.
My family and I try to come every other Sunday because it’s just that good! We get the Shrimp Festival platter and it’s such a great price and always freshly cooked. Tried the gumbo for the first time and definitely recommend for my gumbo aficionados. Oysters Rockefeller are hit as well!
The food is amazing at pacific seafood. The fried pickles are great! The crawfish are great! The kitchen makes sure you get the best quality.
As we walked in we were greeted and seated quickly. The waitress, I believe her name is Annie, was awesome! She made recommendations and was very efficient with service. The owner was attentive and engaging when my partner was giving suggestions/opinions. There is plenty of free parking and I would certainly recommend.!!
We ran in for a late lunch as we were heading back to the hotel. The food was wonderful. The raw oysters were extremely fresh and tasty. The service was top notch. I had the blackened redfish. It was probably the best I have ever eaten. The restaurant was very clean and we were welcomed like we had been regulars. I would highly recommend this place and if we are ever in the area again, we will be back for more!
Update. This is my goto seafood restaurant in San Leon. My third visit for 2025 was my first visit for the summer. Because of its affordable everyday workingman's appeal and delicious seafood cuisine and unsweet iced tea with lemon! Today, my favorite was their fish n' chips, which is the authentic codfish type of entree meal !! It's the only thick whitefish I crave for taste. My order came with a side of tasty coleslaw, with their unique and very thinly sliced onion rings apart from the chips (fries). I've never seen rings done their way. They're sliced so thin that they aren't able to batter and fry them for very long, like normal rings are battered. And this meal entrée comes with the tasty London Pub brand malt vinegar upon table side request at the beginning of our order. This brand I buy myself and stock at home from Kroger grocer.
December 7th 2024 my family 1st time eating here. Great service the food was Amazing large portions. Clean, spacious, not loud can carry a conversation with Fr and Family Highly recommend
Had the lunch fried catfish.......FRESH, CRISPY and TASTY. Mary was great as our hostess and server. Definitely going back.
Went for the oysters but ordered the crab fingers and that sauce is so delicious. The rolls and butter were very good nice surprise cuz last time we went there the didn’t have that. Everything is well seasoned. If your in San Leon give pacific seafood a try you won’t be disappointed.
One of the last places I've been to since moving to the area. Seen someone post a special on Facebook for Tuesdays, where you get 4lbs of crawfish for $19.99. I HAD to give it a try. Very happy I did! The place is open spaced and very clean. The staff was cool and on point. Very friendly and kept you from needing anything. Have to say best bang for your buck for mudbugs! Thanks yall
The people were extremely kind. The food was EXTREMELY good (I personally had the salmon but everyone else liked their food too). The total came up to $64.98 (before tip) for all three meals… definitely coming back soon.
We on a whim stopped in and we were so surprised with the food. This place is unknown to many and the owner was so accommodating. He made some changes even was willing to make a dish not on the menu and they rocked it. We will be back to try some of the other items. This place is not very busy and that surprises me considering the experience we had.

Went here a couple weeks ago with my boyfriend . It very quiet and its seem like a hidden gem. Loved my food from here . It was plentiful and hot and delicious. Definitely will continue to come back to this place.
First time. Wife had shrimp special with four different shrimp flavorings including Parmesan crusted, blackened, scampi and coconut. 20 good sized shrimp total. Plus spaghetti. All for under $20. Excellent. I had the grilled tuna steak with shrimp etouffe and veggies. The etouffe had a little pop and the veggies were perfect. 0ur waitress Dayanna did a great job, especially recommending the shrimp. Place was clean. We will be back.
I have enjoyed a few meals at Pacific Seafood, and on my recent visit my entire group was raving about the food. The service was friendly and fast, and the price was excellent. Our group had grilled shrimp and pasta, grilled shrimp on the Greek Salad, and coconut shrimp and onion rings. I have to chime in with the other reviewers and say that the onion rings are really special. Give this place a try! The food is always great!
It's been a while since I've dined at Pacific Seafood because I moved away from San Leon. I'm happy to say the quality of the food as well as the service has not changed one bit. My daughter & I split an appetizer as well as the fried catfish. We were both full when we left and were able to take leftovers back to her house. As for the atmosphere, they had country music playing in the background. We were there for an early afternoon lunch. It was a very pleasant experience all the way around. For those who may be confined to a wheelchair, there is a ramp for your convenience.

Crab legs were good. They weren’t on the menu, but I asked :). Oysters were fresh. Tea could’ve been fresher, server was very nice/friendly but could’ve been faster.( husband was almost done with his meal before I got mine-annoying) Atmosphere is casual and comfortable. Overall enjoyed our dinner and will return.
You definitely get your money's worth and the size of the portions. That's always good! It's even better that the food is great quality as quality is well! Can't wait to try their breakfast sometime. Please remember, they do not have their liquor license so only beer is served.
Excellent fried seafood. The catfish was super crispy but light. Coconut shrimp special was also great. The inclusion of thin onion rings with the fries is a nice touch and their cole slaw is refreshing. Have to try the fried snapper next. Will definitely be back.
Shrimps were nice and meaty. Love the shrimp kisses and blackened shrimp. Only thing I didn’t like was the Caesar salad. Dressing was horrible. Prices reasonable. Very helpful waiter and restaurant was clean and tidy.
We dined in, early lunch. We had seafood platter and blackened shrimp along with calamari appetizer. All of the seafood was cooked just right. The portions we're generous. For dessert, a yummy bread pudding. The ambiance was lacking. More like a BBQ joint than a seafood restaurant. Still, worth checking out.
Went for the snow crab special and was thrilled!! The butter left something to be desired (it was not actual butter) and the seasoning on the corn and potatoes was odd. Kinda sweet/citrusy? But the crab was amazing! Cooked perfectly and not overly seasoned so the flavor was it's own. We got the Calamari, Oysters Rockefeller, and Shrimp Kisses for appetizers. Calamari was decent (I'm not the biggest fan to begin with) the fried peppers that came with it were delicious and should be their own appetizer, I am told the Oysters were great, and the Shrimp Kisses were fantastic!! Downside is that they were understaffed and I never got my to go order that I placed 30 minutes before they ran out of crab when I said to make it now as we were about done eating. The last of it went to a table that came in AFTER I ordered it. The food however was really well made!
We went specifically for the Sunday Shrimp Festival/ Platter. It's $19.99 for 4 different types of shrimp: blackened, scampi, coconut, and parmesan crusted. I opted to swap the coconut for grilled. The grilled and blackened were their best. 100% get those. My husband got salmon and said it was good. The Shrimp scampi was not scampi, in my opinion. It was on a piec of garlic bread that was delicious itself but the Shrimp was covered in a sauce that was more Alfredo. Not a huge fan of that one. The waitresses were amazing. Very friendly, very welcoming. I would go again but only for the grilled and blackened Shrimp. I would like to try other things on the menu eventually. It is pricey, but seafood typically is.
This review is based around the opinions within our party consisting of 6 adults and 2 children. The crab cake was liked by some and some felt it needed more lump crab meat within. The stuffed jalapeños were liked by all. Great mixture of flavor, texture and heat. The stuffed flounder caught a mixed review. The flounder itself was delicious but the stuffing was missing any sort of crab meat or any protein at all. Just breading and butter. The Blackened Salmon was delicious. Great flavor and perfectly cooked. Another enjoyed a bowl of Pacific Seafood's homemade gumbo. All in all, we enjoyed our time there and the service was great. Very attentive wait staff would recommend to others.
Have passed this place for 3 years. You are making a grave mistake if you don't stop. To die for crabcake. ALL puns intended, it's across the street (no view of from inside) from the cemetery.

Food was priced good for the amount that was given. Was not bad. Fish slightly over fried but still good. Our waitress was so sweet and interactive with us.
I want so much to like this place as I keep going back to check on it. For the most part, it's a nice larger neighborhood establishment. It has so much potential. Unfortunately, it seems to be barely alive. Hopefully, it will revive itself come warmer weather.
After hearing so many good things we finally tried this place. Pros: the grilled oysters with garlic bread, and fried oysters were good sized and delicious. The fried shrimp were on the small side but good. The Cobb salad was good as were the fried pickles. Cons: French fries were pretty bland and onion rings were over-fried. Catfish was a little greasy. No liquor license. Service was very friendly but also very awkward as we had to repeat our orders several times and she didn’t know who to serve which plates to who. I wish this place luck but I can’t say we’ll make the long drive there again.
Food was pretty good. Service was not good at all. Our server knew absolutely nothing about the menu of even the basics. Ended up with our entrees coming out 1 bite into our appetizers. That's even with us slow ordering our entrees to avoid that. Definitely didn't live up to what we hoped it would be unfortunately. Probably won't be going back.
The food was satisfactory, but the portion of pasta in the shrimp pasta special was quite small. The pricing was excessive considering the quality of the meal. I spent $40.00 on a single dish and calamari, and I am unlikely to return.
Been enjoying the food here for a couple years. Always had good fried fish and shrimp. Until 3 weeks ago stopped in for lunch and we had 2 shrimp poboys with extra tarter sauce . Dipped a shrimp in the tarter sauce and it was sweet. I told my buddy they put sweet pickle relish in the tarter sauce. Why would they change a recipe after 2 plus years. Sweet tarter sauce is not very tart. Tonight I called inn 2 orders of fried fish and shrimp. And yes tarter sauce is still sweet sauce. But now the Cole slaw has sweet pickle relish in it as well. There may be folks out there that enjoy sweet pickle relish in there food but I'm not one of them. The next time I have a craving for fried shrimp or fish I'm going to call Pacific Seafood and ask if they could make me some sauce and Cole slaw without the sweet pickle relish. The poor boys were my favorite quick lunch. Call the oder in and under 10 minutes ready to go. Never had any sweet tarter sauce before. Never even heard of it. Sweet pickle relish is nasty.
Oysters were serviced with no condiments, muscles were still frozen, Chicken straps were delicious. Waitress was on her game!
I don't see how this place has so many good reviews, the redfish was freezer burned and chewy, couldn't cut it with a fork. The oysters apparently had been shucked for a few days, not fresh at all. The boiled shrimp was good and the veggies were good. The service was good. But again the seafood was not fresh at all.
I called three times in one day, because they had a help wanted sign out front. I was told to call back at 5:30 and ask for the manager. So I did exactly that since there was a help wanted sign out front for weeks. The third time I called I was informed they're not hiring the sign was wrong. I asked to speak to the manager George. He refused to get on the phone with me and said tell her I'm not hiring. And the sign is wrong. If that's the way you treat people that want to make your establishment better, I'm unsure on how you treat your guests. Customer service goes a long way..
I deleted my earlier review, as my views of this place have changed. Update: I'm diabetic, so the French fries they serve with meals are really bad for me. They traded them out for steamed veggies for ever at no charge. However, the last time I wanted to order from them they wanted to charge me $1.99 to swap (for about ten pieces of vegetables). Looks like I won't be eating there any more... Congrats to the new management!
The food was great, and our waitress sherry was absolutely phenomenal. She was kind and very attentive to us. However, there was a disgusting disturbance in the resteraunt when we had our meal. Another patron, older, heavy set, white haired woman started yelling at a very young hostess of the establishment. So much so that she made the girl start to cry. She did this in front of the ENTIRE resteraunt like she owned the place. The entitlement of this woman was absolutely disgusting to witness. The wait staff handled the situation really well but no one can enjoy a meal or a date when another customer is being so unexceptionally rude. It ruined the atmosphere and the meal entirely. So, one more big shout out to Sherry for being a wonderful server. If it wasn't for her we probably wouldn't come back to this establishment.
My family and I visited this place 3 times a week. One day Ma and I went alone. She couldn't eat her burger because it look like the meat was old and it was very had for her to eat.So I asked the waitress . The owner/ manager came to the table and asked about the situation, as we explain about it and also told him about the previous incident which he fail to take care off because he never came to the table. ( we were in his restaurant at least 3 to 4 days since we live so close to it. It so happened to be that he was upset 😡 about his grandkids ,staring by the waitress. He said ro us that if we didn't like his food and all we were looking for is a discount which it wasn't the case. He said to just get out and told us to got to the other restaurants near by. We went back and forth about his behavior and still he acted like a but hole very ride, obnoxious and he had no compassion for his customers. I heard that he is really bad even with his employees. So having said all that. I urse his restaurant
So disappointing. I was expecting more from these folks. How our server kept a decent attitude while working here, knowing all the mistakes being made. The appetizer came out AFTER the meal, the mussels were undercooked and the burger was straight up nasty. Come on y'all... Please do better. We usually give a restaurant a second chance... Not THIS one.
I’ve come here multiple times before and the service has always been mediocre. This time my server just really put me off. My drink went dry and when I looked over multiple times, she was on her phone. She didn’t know the menu and told us that they had those beers just to come back and say they don’t have it (happened like 3 times). Dust fell off the fan above me and landed in my food. A BAT YES A BAT!!! WAS FLYING AROUND THE RESTAURANT… our server still handed us our tab and was like “hehehe sorry”… a nicer establishment would have at least offered a discount. I will not be returning.
