Nice place for Pizza. I really loved this place. Had a friend come into town and she asked me to take her here again. This place has a good atmosphere. Food is similar to a place in San Francisco I loved.

The staff is great! My foods was fresh & hot when I picked up. I ordered online (for the coupons) & within 15 mintues I was out the door.

Excellent pizza so I drive from New Braunfels to get it. Been eating Gatti's pizza for over 40 years. Practically lived on it in Austin, TX.

Great pizza, great deals and great staff most of the time. Just keep in mind this is take out and delivery only!

Fantastic Pizza! I grew up eating it so I'm a bit biased, but I love the large variety of toppings. The staff is always friendly and the pizzas are always quick!

Mr. Gatti"s has always been my favorite pizza place of all time. Don't get me wrong there are other great pizza places in San Marcos, Texas. Hot, fresh and yummy, what more could you ask for? A school discount, well we got that too. They were very accommodating on Thanksgiving weekend and very easy to work with. We ordered 46 pizzas and needed 2 more when we picked up the order. Guess what, they got us 2 more without issues or complaints or waiting forever for them. If you need good pizzas for a good price without any issues try Mr. Gattis, you won't be disappointed.

The pizza was perfect to my liking. It was fresh, warm, and very tasty. However, I would’ve liked to have had a little bit more cilantro on the pizza. I will definitely order and try other styles of pizza.

Anytime I'm craving my childhood pizza, I go to Gattis. Javi & Jose always get it right! We live about 35 minutes from it, but it's sooooo worth the drive. Not only is the pizza great, but the customer service is wonderful. Definitely still the best pizza in town!

Ordered through the app right before they closed, which thankfully they were able to take the order, and they had it faster than anticipated. Food was hot and fresh. Though my only thing which wasn't really a thing, was that I am guessing since it was later in the night, the sauce was definitely spicier than usual. While the adults were okay, the kids were having a little trouble eating it. In the end they ate it just fine, with some grumbles, by the end everything was fine.

Stopped here because everywhere else was closed or had a long wait time. First time to a Gatti's pizza. Had a great experience. Pricing on par with similar pizza chains. Ingredients and taste is much better. Sadly they were out of mushrooms but had a generous portion of black olives. Would definitely recommend and inclined to visit another location in future.

I only came in as a DoorDasher but the handsome, dark-haired man up front was so kind, I just had to let y'all know how friendly he was! The lobby is super clean and the cashier was transparent about the status of the order, I'll definitely consider this restaurant when I visit again!

This location is for takeout mostly with only one table otherwise. I go there every week or two and order the " personal size sampler ". Always fresh and crispy veggies, no grease, low sodium. Reliably outstanding. IMHO the healthiest pizza in town and also the tastiest.

The people are nice,and you get your food pretty quick and it's nice and hot,definitely a good place for pizza.

First time at this location was really iffy about ordering from this location due to reviews. We are from New Braunfels and I must say the pizza was on point and the staff was friendly we will definitely be returning.

Only San Marcos location and it is not dine in. They changed the delivery service to favor so it is more difficult and slower. I like the pizza alot though.

The sauce has a spicy taste to it ... As to how good the bread part of it . Well it's not as soft from. What I am used too I have reason to believe they add to much salt to the recipe which can hinder the fluffy facter of the curing of dough.. btw I know this because I made dough for 3 yrs for a pizza joint

Not my first choice in location but we were close by and this was the only pizza place open at the time. Location is super small. You can't dine in even if I wanted to. There was a couple of tall tables but no chairs. If that was fixed, I would change to 4 stars.

Low stars purely because they don’t offer paying online when you order online. You’d think that would make the most sense but we had to pay cash when we got there. Very inconvenient as I don’t normally carry cash.

Every time I’ve come to Mr Gatti’s .I ask for a thin crust ,and they tell me it is and it’s not. It’s like hand toss or something. The other Mr Gatti’s I’ve come to I get thin crust.

Zero stars! WORST pizza in town! ORDERED 2 large for a birthday and they were inedible! Hard, dry and toppings were so thin we could not tell what they were! I will not go back and will tell everyone I know!

Phoned in my delivery order. They said it would around an hour. An hour passes, no pizza. I call, no driver has been assigned to my cold pizza… 👎🏻👎🏻

They can never get the orders right. I paid for extra sauce, and got less than the regular amount. The pizza was supposed to be fresh and hot, but seemed to have been held in a warm place for awhile.

This is why you shouldn't franchise, you lose your standardization and quality control. This location served over proofed dough that tastes like alcohol! It means they are using week old dough to save money! The rolls we got were also DRIPPING in GREASE! They also don't mention this is a franchise location and you can't get the standard menu either. Thinking you want a 12 piece pizza rolls for $9.99? Think again! The same 12 rolls here will cost you $18! ALMOST DOUBLE! Coupled with rude and unaccountable staff. This location is destined to fail. I would rather drive 40 minutes to Austin so I can get Standard Gattis than ever order from here again.

I ordered delivery (which I rarely do) and said it would take approximately 60 minutes. Arrived at residence at 125 minutes later ; pizza was a tad warm and delivered it to the main entrance door when I gave special instructions to deliver at side door. Very disappointed.

Calling to place an order, and kept getting put on hold for 20 mins. Called 5 times before driving to the store that was absolutely empty when I walked in. I get there are online orders but to just answer the phone and put it on hold. That’s so unprofessional. Mentioned to the guy that was working that I was trying to call, he responds that he was putting the phone on hold and not answering because he didn’t want to take anymore orders. In result my time was wasted because I had to sit 30 mins to get my pizza instead of driving to pick it up when it was ready. I find this extremely unacceptable.

I wouldn’t give it a one star tonight. Was on hold for over 10mins. Had to repeat order two times. Order was repeated and it was correct. Got pizza and it was wrong pizza. Called them and I was treated like I ordered the wrong pizza. Told them I need the correct pizza delivered to me because I have 3 grandkids that are hungry. Finally after hour and a half they sent the correct one. Worst service I have ever experienced. They need better workers.

Ordered a cheese pizza & it was so hot with the taste of jalapenos, very thin hard crust & overcooked cheese topping....I called to tell the employee what the pizza tasted of & he said it was probably the parmesan. I was very disappointed spending so much on a pizza that was made like the cook really couldn't care less!

I guess it’s partially my fault, but I drove all the way from San Antonio just to bring the 8 kids to Mr Gatti’s like I did growing up, just to find out it’s not like the original. I could of just went to incredible pizza back in town :(

The associate refused to take my order over the phone. What kind of business requires online orders only? Options are necessary for customers. Not everyone has online access so it’s pretty discriminatory.

Service was horrible, this wasn't the first incident. I have tattoos and went to pick up pizza that was under my wife's name and the guy up front asked for the last name (which was fine) but then he comes back with the pizza which was two boxes and proceeded to lie about what kind of pizza was order hoping, I would agree to the "two cheese pizzas" he name and boom he caught me in a lie. But no I corrected him and told him it wasn't two cheese pizzas it was two hamburger meat he then mocked me and slid me the pizza. I should be able to pick up my pizza without the tricks and mind games, and it shouldn't be dry old pizza which was just the cherry on top. Horrible customer service and the pizza was dry!

Called in for the 2-2-2 special, as I always do, but this time the lady said I must put 2 toppings on each pizza. If not, I'll be charged $40! Makes no sense as I've always put 1 topping on 1 pizza and 2 on the other. She was so rude! I canceled my order and went to Papa John's. It was only $20 there for what I wanted. Will not be going back to Gatti's. Please train your employees!

I visited back in September 2015 and I can honestly say it has been unforgettable because it’s the worst pizza I’ve ever had. 1hr to make a simple vegetarian pie/pizza and it was tasteless, dough was mushy, and worst of all the customer service was not the best. I hate saying negative things about any establishment but, as a paying customer, I have to say when bad is bad and forewarn those patrons to come. I do hope y’all have gotten better since then and that the food quality has improved.
