I went to buy a sandwich today. The sandwich was good but they didn't have the bread I like. I reminded the cashier about the pickle spear that comes with the sandwich. She yes, but NO pickle spear! Maybe its petty to complain but giving good customer service is what keeps customers happy and returning to buy food. Im disappointed! Do better!

Sandwich was good. This location doesn’t seem to believe in staffing the front counter, I had to yell at someone in the kitchen to order, and then again later to get a box. My food tray, as well as the to-go box I received, had some kind of sauce on the bottom that I had to clean off me both times. There were multiple puddles of water around the restaurant from the AC dripping (I hope, because one was next to/underneath the trash can with no obvious source 🤢). Unimpressed. I’ll choose a different sandwich place next time.

What has happened? Schlotzsky sandwich needs major help. I ordered a medium original sandwich all the way. Totally ended up with with a bland entree. Romaine lettuce leaves with hard white centers on a sandwich. A total waste of $9.00 plus dollars.

Schlotzsky’s Schlotzsky’s Schlotzsky’s the cashier guy was very friendly, but upon walking into the store, all of the tables except one table were dirty and I mean dirty food particles food around it food on the tables just trash on the floors it was just extremely dirty going to the concession stand to get your drink there were not any straws available no silverware available and the cashiers indicated that they were out of small bread out of straws and the concession sand was not stopped. Upon going to the bathroom, the trash was not changed. It smelled very horrible as if it was a dirty diaper or dirty pad within the bathroom the bathroom was not cleaned either, so I’m assuming they were very short staffed but that was very very very unacceptable.

San Marcos is probably the worst location for this chain. I do eat here occasionally and it is consistently disappointing each time. They ran out of pizzas this time. Need a new manager , owner operator? 10/25/25

The service is absolutely horrible. Staff are rude and disrespectful. They let somebody cut in front of me twice. Unless you are going through the drive thru or picking up an online order, they do not care about you. I will not go back to that location. They do not deserve business. Corporate really needs to get involved. Because their management and staff are incompetent.

I walked in at 1pm and the lady at counter looked at me very annoyed and said just to let you know it's going to be a 45 minute wait. I said I haven't even ordered yet, and she proceeded to walk away.

Just got take out here tonight and I just Wana say this was the worse sandwiches we have ever had from a Schlotzsky's. The bread is rock hard,they put one black olive on my sandwich and I asked for extra..what the .... happened here. If you go..make sure you for sure check the sandwiches before you leave. Unbelievable..

Husband went in tonight get us dinner. Once he got home I opened my chips to find they tasted weird. Looked and the expiration date was February 17th 2025. It is June 19th 2025; that is gross. We did not trust our food. Called the store 2 times and no one answered. Horrible service and also why are they selling expired chips?

awful experience. The service took forever I think it took 20-30 minutes to just get one sandwich. And after taking a couple bites I found this huge piece of paper/plastic inside my sandwich that I was eating! I understand it can take a while to make a sandwich but finding plastic inside my sandwich is nasty! 🤮

Do not waste time.. this location is under staffed. Manager is aware and had been aware for months per the employee behind the register.. he has not placed the ads or find the interviews. Very unprofessional Employee was move very apologetic. Still didn't change the time I lost. PLACE WAS EMPTY drive thru and online orders took priority over find in guest.. go figure.

This was me and my wife's first visit. The place was not clean and tables were not wiped down from previous customer's eating. I ordered the Original Sandwich which I assumed one could eat as one normally eats a sandwich by holding with hands. This sandwich was a sloppy, falling apart mess. The bread is paper thin and is falling apart the minute you receive it. My wife ordered a salad. Nothing outstanding about it. Bottom line, this was our first and last visit.

Terrible customer service. Waited to be waited on & the guy working definitely gets pd by the hour. Asked for our sandwich certain ways but didn't get it that way. I went back up to the counter to get the sandwich stuff right & I was not acknowledge & he went to the person to get their order. They ordered Cinnabons & he took his time with those & waited by the microwave, while still not seeing what I needed & my sandwich is now not warm. So we took the tomatoes off of the sandwich & finally got the extra olives that I asked for. Was my husband's first time eating at a schlotzkys terrible way to try to win him over. That the sandwich that just barely had olives on them.
