The store is a bit small but there is ample seating outside. There is also a lot of great options. Both of my drinks were great and both the guy behind the cash register and the two people working the floor making the drinks were helpful and kind at all times. 10/10

11/30/2024 - This is indeed a premium beverages store you will enjoy either sitting down at a patio or To Go. The teas are tasteful with optional choices of a sugar amount. Staffers are friendly.

I found my fav boba spot in town. I like how they had 6 different types of tea leaves I can smell before I ordered my drink. I got the barley black milk tea with honey bona and blueberry fruit tea with lychee and mango jelly. I do not like sweet drinks, so I got level 2 sweetness. Loved it. It was perfect for me. Almond croissant and chocolate muffins were also delicious!

Im loving the new wave of boba shops where they brew tea fresh in every drink! Chapresso does a great job of doing so with their unique tea flavors (very similar to Orobae’s). You can really taste the aromatic tea flavor in every sip. Parking can be a little tough if its on the weekend but there is plenty of street parking. It is suggested that you order ahead online because there was a long line after I ordered. Also they ran out of boba for a bit since they’re really busy! I got lucky and only waited 5 minutes but anticipate the unlikely chance that they wont have boba.

It was my first time coming to Chapresso. I was really impressed that they used tea leafs to make the tea. The tea tasted great! They also had good service. The simple design of the place is inviting but the space is limited. However, they do have open sitting outside the shop.

Stumbled upon Chapresso during their soft opening & I am in love! We got the Iron Goddess, Jasmine Pekoe and Barley Black milk tea. Super clean & bold flavors! Also great service, they walked the drink out to us and let us know we could adjust the drinks if needed. Overall 10/10 - come before the line gets long!!!

I stopped by while we were visiting family the area, noticed this new boba place’s soft opening, and excitedly decided to give it a try. I ordered a regular sized Phoenix Oolong Milk Tea with no ice and level 1 (of 5) sweetness. I really enjoy freshly brewed milk tea (freshly brewed after order is placed) compared to milk tea prepared with tea that was brewed well in advance, had been sitting on the shelf for who knows how long, and used only after the order is placed. What I also found very helpful was being informed that my milk tea would not fill up all the way to the top of the cup if we chose less or no ice in our drink. The reason being that each serving of tea is customized to be brewed with the precise amount of water to each serving of tea for the perfect taste. Otherwise, I probably thought my milk tea got spilled a little bit before they sealed it. The boba was freshly made, perfectly soft and chewy, and went wonderfully with my milk tea. Also, I liked their 100% compostable straw that didn’t get wet, soggy, & limp even after I finished my drink 2 hrs later. The order labels placed on the sides of each cup, with our names on them, were also easy to peel off from the cup as I prefer not to leave my name on it when I’m done and dispose of the cup. Overall, a wonderful experience, with very nice, friendly, and courteous service. I will most definitely go back to try other milk tea soon.

Matcha latte was immaculate. Got the large size (16 oz), 2% milk, 25% sugar and less ice. Came out to $8 which is a little pricey, but the matcha was sooo good. No bitterness. They have the full set up with bamboo whisk, scale, etc. Highly recommend the matcha latte!!!

One of my two go-to tea places in SGV. Been a customer since it opened and while it does have its ups and downs in terms of taste, it is still by far one of the best tea place I've ever been to. My go-to is the iron goddess milk tea at 100% sweetness and Phoenix milk tea at 75% sweetness. Highly recommend anyone nearby to try this place out!!!

I came to grab a hot Jasmine Pekoe Green tea which is a high-quality tea leaves , often younger leaves with fine hair (pekoe). Its flavor was smooth, mellow, slightly sweet, with fresh fruity undertones. Prices were fair. Staff and service were cordial and on spot, respectively. Indoor and outdoor seats were very limited. Overall, I liked my tea at Chapresso. I highly recommend them.

The store was bright and clean. I ordered a hot Matcha Latte. It was good and had an earthy flavor, but it wasn't very hot. A bit expensive but I guess it's to be expected for ceremonial grade matcha. They weren't busy so I only waited a few minutes.

Matcha was good. I got the matcha with mango pure (right). I asked for light ice but wasn’t given any ice and my drink wasn’t all that cold but the flavor was there. There was only one person working so it took about 15 minutes for us to get our 2 drinks. The matcha was not bad but it definitely was not the best considering my drink wasn’t cold and for almost $10 a drink, there are plenty of other matcha places in LA that is significantly better.

I love to support a small business and this place had potential, but a few things missed the mark for me. The only positive was the bright minimalist interior that gave it a more sophisticated vibe. They was no blaring music or sticky seats. However, it is extremely tight inside leaving no room for me than 3 people to order and wait. The menu is also very limited. I ordered a fruit tea with lychee, sweetened at 100%. There were only 3 flavor choices. It tasted quite heavy. The tea seemed to be steeped too long, leaving it muddy reducing the sweetness level to about 25%. Perhaps it's due to the "pulled tea" method...not sure, but with so many shops serving a variety of quality drinks and choices, I'll likely pass on coming back to this place.
