Delicious and extremely well made burgers. The mini burger is good enough for an adult. It’s delicious, you don’t over eat. The garlic fries are also very tasty.

Super Duper Burger has the freshest ingredients and most high quality food of any burger joint in the Bay Area. So hyped for this new location in San Mateo! The interior is modern and buzzy - one of their best - the furniture is all new and high quality. Lots of seating to sit, hang out with friends, or even get work done. Their service is excellent, they were coming and checking in on every table to ensure people were having a good time, and tables were instantly being cleaned when someone got up and left. The staff is very friendly and kind and I can already see them forming great connections with the local community. Oh and did I already mention the food is great?

Excellent family restaurant. It offers all kinds of items for adults and kids such as beer and soft serve. Soft serve is what makes me come back almost everyday. It is kinda pricey. However, I can't stop myself.

Frequent here even though there's one closer. Quick and easy service. UPDATE: My dad had the spicy chicken sandwich and it was too spicy for him. They were so kind about making him a classic instead. Worth the trip here every time and will always come back. THANK YOU!

Super Duper is generally great but not all of them serve, imo, their best burger: The Four Cheese burger. It’s so good… if you love cheese. Order it and you’ll find out!

This is my go-to for a quick bite and the service has always been great. Love that they let you order kid’s size soft serve and smoothies. The store is well-maintained too. But did you recently change your recipe for the veggie burger? If yes, just letting you know that I like the old version better😂The new recipe has undercooked rice in it and the texture is a little weird. Would love to have the old one back.

First time visiting Super Duper Burgers — Smooth and intuitive experience. The kiosk made ordering easy. For a fast causal restaurant I was surprised my burger was cooked medium. Which is how I order them — when I can. Using the kiosk system — you can choose your burger’s cook temp—medium is the default, but you can opt for well-done if you ask. That’s rare in fast casual. So, with that being said. The burger was legit. For a fast casual spot, the quality held up. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked medium as promised. They are known for their Shakes & Ice Cream: Didn’t try them this round, but the flavor lineup was tempting. Definitely will when I return for a visit. The only drawback was the garlic fries—Overloaded with garlic, which made them soggy fast. Didn’t finish. Next time I order regular fries. Overall— solid burgers, clean establishment, and friendly staff.

The chicken was very chewy. I returned it after the second bite and asked if I could get a mini hamburger instead. The staff was very nice and obliged my request. They get 5 stars for service because of that for sure! For the burger, the meat patty was really fresh and juicy. It tastes noticeably different from the other popular burger joints in California. That is a good thing, since it makes their burgers unique. The garlic fries were not that great. They were too garlicky and I didn't see any fresh garlic on them. I think they may be using garlic oil or maybe garlic spices, but certainly no fresh garlic, which was another disappointment. I also discovered that you don't have to pay tip if you order by yourself at the self-order kiosk instead of ordering with a person at the cashier. Not sure why tip is expected in a self-serve burger joint!!! The service is this particular location was really good though with very nice staff, so that more than made up for the weird chicken burger and disappointing garlic fries experience. Plenty of free street parking and nice residential area in San Mateo with parks and some running mini river near by.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️=Solid (1-Avoid, 3-Standard, 5-Can't Miss!) One of our favorites. The char flavor and the juiciness of the burger is great. All organic ingredients and they also have shakes and soft serve that is from Straus Dairy Farm, which is a big plus! The "$10 Recession Meal" is a great offering and comes with fries and a drink. You can also get as many homemade pickles as you want if you like pickles. Plenty of parking in this plaza in the underground parking lot. The ground level parking can be a little challenging.

So I got this for my daughter and she liked it but rated it a 4. She said not the worst but not the best. I think i will re review it once I try it too. They put a sauce on the burger not sure what it is. She said it was okay. They make soft serve ice cream and organic shakes I need to try! I will be returning to make another review.

We had a fried chicken sandwich with garlic fries. The bun was just perfect, tender, and fresh. Just the right size for a nice bite. I didn't like the garlic fries because they were kinda soft and extremely oily. But other than that everything was great.

When ordering a burger, it will display a picture of the burger with cheese, however the burger doesn’t actually come with cheese and you have to specify a choice of cheese at an additional cost of $1. If the default burger doesn’t not come with cheese, it should not be photographed with cheese. It’s stuff like this why I hate

After living near a Super Duper for almost a decade, it was finally time to try it out. We've heard that Super Duper focuses on the premium burger segment with fresh, high quality ingredients, and leaning more towards a sit-down restaurant. This directly competes with Habit Burger and Five Guys. As lovers of burgers, we excited marched in. The burger is well made. They cooke the patty smashed and with fresh, unfrozen beef. This was absolutely clear. The lettuce and tomato were fresh as well. The burger looked really nice when it came out. But this is where it sort of missed the mark. First, the patty was well seasoned but nothing else in the burger fit or could dance with it. Somehow it was missing the "sauce" that brings it together. All the individual ingredients shined through. But they didn't harmonize. Second, the bun wasn't soft. They claimed this was artisanal buns and they indeed seemed to be well structured. But it just wasn't soft enough and it distracted me from enjoying the burger . Third, the burger was just too small. It feels like the full burger's diameter is about 80% of all other burgers. It jsut feel's small and even after the entire double-patty burger, I wasn't quite full. And all of this burger, for over $10. The fries were a bit bland as well, even the garlic fries. Somehow it missed the salt. I understand that Super Duper might be aiming high. And it's intentions absolutely comes across. Openly selling brews as well is a great welcome, in addition to the fantastic Straus soft serve. But again, intentions always don't translate to a great experience. I think Super Duper needs just a bit of fine tuning. But they better do it fast. Cause at this price point, you must hit it out of the park.

When they opened for the first couple weeks it was amazing! Now not sure what’s going on now. The bun was burnt dark & dry until the middle, chicken was thin slices put together nothing like the advertised picture. (Shake shack had the shrinking portion issue as well) Is it worth $10? Not this time…

Fries were nearly unsalted, cold and barely had any cheese on them. They had a garlic flavored oil lazily poured over them would not recommend. The shake was blended poorly, it had separated into two parts, watery on the bottom and somewhat icy on the top. Shame they served such low par sides to an otherwise good burger.
