Everything about this place is great. I order the western burger or have steak and eggs. The service is above and beyond. They are all really nice and accommodating. It's located close to my hotel so I often just stop in while skateboarding around San Pedro.

Great Club Sandwich by itself or as a plate with regular fries or zucchini fries. Great Pastrami sandwiches as well! They chop the meat into bite-sizes so large chunks of meat don't get pulled and fall on your shirt or lap as you take a bite. Worth going back for 😋

Great place to eat, always clean and people behind the counter are very nice. I recommend the grilled chicken salad but ask for iceberg lettuce. But that's my choice. Lots of parking space or you can order for pickup or go by the drive thru. Very good burgers, matter of fact, everything is good here.

THE Best chili cheese fries in LA. Seriously. Order a large and get a free lemonade. Most places are bland...but these guys season the fries and the chili has a nice kick to it. I moved to Glendale 4 years ago but I still come here for the chili cheese fries.

Great selection of not only burgers but sandwiches and even breakfast. My double cheeseburger had lettuce and tomato that were fresh and tasty. Their dine in tables are clean and comfortable. The meat was perfectly cooked and tasty and the fries were hot and crisp!

This is a hole in the wall place. Very good steak taco salad, like a tostada salad. Many places only have iceberg lettuce in their tostada salad, this place use a good spring mix salad greens plus purple cabbage, cucumber, carrots etc. Very good salad taco shell. The sitting area is like a fast food place. Needs some more cleaning.

This is my family's go to neighborhood fast food location. Not only are the prices fair but the food actually comes out "fast" . The staff at the drive thru and at the inside counter are always friendly and patient. I'm one of those guys who can't decide until the last moment what they want or I change my mind while ordering and the staff is very very patient as I do this 😆

The meatless vegan Impossible burger is available here for, like, 12 bucks. It tastes so good that I got it two weeks in a row. I can't afford to go to Troy's every day and as yummy drive-thru food one can argue that they've got greasy options that aren't the healthiest (even the veggies! Deep fried yummy onion rings and zucchini) but as a treat it's a great place and the Impossible burger is pretty healthy. It's made to have the texture and taste of meat. Could the fruit smoothies like peach and strawberry be regarded as healthy or are they too sugary? Head to Troy's for a treat! They have got ham and eggs, or chicken tenders, or fried shrimp or fish, or steak for you, too.

Tasty churros. The fried chicken was little too small, but the taste was not bad. Price fit the size of food. Maybe next time sales representative can ask if we would like combo order.

Old school hamburger spot, like in the 80s. The burgers taste like burgers not rubber, the bacon and eggs are good, don’t taste GMO, the salads are fresh and crispy, best French toast, ever! Oh and the chili cheese fries are so goood!! Guys don’t sleep on this spot, just try it, it’ll be your new favorite go to.

I went through the drive-thru and the wait was minimal. I had a cheeseburger and fried zucchini. I had fried onions on the cheeseburger and took off the lettuce and tomato. It was one of the best cheeseburgers I've had. Absolutely loved it. The plentiful zucchini fries were good, too, but I didn't eat too many of them because I was full by the time I ate the cheeseburger. This will be my stop for burgers from now on. I noticed on their menu they have taco salad. I've been looking all over for a good taco salad. This will be my next try. I'll let you know how it goes.

We were in the vicinity for work and needed a quick bite for lunch. That led us to Troy’s Burgers. We had the western burger with fries and fish tacos with rice and beans. Service was fast and the food was delicious! The portions were massive! The staff was friendly and helpful and catered to anything we may have needed. They menu is pretty extensive and I doubt anyone can leave this place hungry, despite any food restrictions. If I’m ever in the area I’d definitely stop by again and recommend if you’re looking for a local burger/Mexican, down to earth vibe, food joint.

I was recommended to Troy's chilli cheese fries and it did not disappoint. While I was there, I sampled a few items and they were all fantastic. The food taste as good as the pictures. Specifically, the DUI fries and burgers, be prepared with an empty stomach. I think the DUI fries are chilli cheese fries with pastrami LOADED on top. The chicken taco salad is no joke, huge. The chorizo breakfast burritos is another hit.

We ordered two chili cheese fries from them to compare them to Fantastic cafes and ends up it was Halloween and maybe we're just in a good mood but they really tasty and my girlfriend just cleaned the best eulogy for the town but I think she just said that cuz it's a cliche thing to say

Their food is pretty good but not as good as it used to be, hence the minus one star. They're under new ownership as of a few months ago. So some items on menu have changed such as the frys not made the way Troys used to. Also the prices have gone up a bit also. So its worth trying just be as precise in ordering your food as possible.

Good food but they've gotten real pricey. New menu has eliminated toi many faves. Chicken salad should not be called such any more. The last two have maybe 2 tblspoons of small bits of chicken. They're burgers save them as do the fries. Hence 4⭐ rather than 3.

The food is great. The wait can be a little long but worth it if you really want an exclusive item like Troy's DUI burger or Troy's DUI fries. The people who take the orders can be a bit short which can come off as rude but I think that may be due to the long lines and them just trying to lessen the wait times.

Great food! Really nice people. Not in the best part of town, so I usually drive through. It's definitely worth the stop if you are hungry and want something fast and good.

Food was good and service very friendly. They come out and take your order ahead still so that makes it go a little faster. The drive thru is very narrow and I barely fit around the turn. Won't be doing that in the dark. Super friendly service with a smile. Menu is big so we will be back for more next time.

I like TROYS they have pretty good stuff all the time last time I went there I ordered a cheeseburger special and I noticed they didn’t put pickles in my burger I guess they don’t put pickles in their burgers that would be the only thing that would make my burger a five star burger everything else was good I like the fries and I like their sandwiches BLT ,steak sandwich turkey sandwich and they have really good breakfast too it’s worth a trip if you’re in the area to stop by and check it out

Great menu, generous portions. If you want to avoid the big burger chains, this is a good choice.

Pricing of food is very affordable, portions served are good size. Staff seemed friendly and service was fast. Potato hash browns seemed like they were sitting out for a long period of time and Denver omelette's cheese wasn't melted.

Troy's has really good cheeseburgers very flavorful, steak sandwich was very tender and juicy, the club sandwich is also good, and the onion rings are very good! The breakfast burritos are blan with very little cheese I'll have to ask for extra cheese next time, hotdogs are always between warm and cool with very little taste. The French fries are always under cooked even when I ask for the fries to be cooked well done it seems like the opposite is done, and the chili cheese fries was a major disappointment with very little cheese and undercooked fries! I was also disappointed with the pastrami it was very dry! I'll stick to the burgers and onion rings, but I did want to try the Mexican dishes next... we'll see. Sorry to sound so negative, but when you live down the street from Troy's and can smell the food cooking you'd hope everything would be warm and tasty but it's not!

5/11/24. Ordered through delivery. Not sure if there's a new owner, new cook, or both. Food was lacking in flavor 😞 Very disappointed especially when you pay more now. Some of the food has shrunken in size. So quality and quantity are an issue !

Judging the burgers and fries only, the burgers were subpar, the bread was cold and dry. Classics burgers on pacific ave are better but thier fries are identical. Also don't go through the drive through, or your car can get damaged driving off the curb because it doesn't line up properly with the outdated exit.

I started liking Troy's my first few visits. I started overcooking my fries. I enjoy their shakes though.

I had to take my food to go because they don't have public restrooms available and we drove from El Monte. A girl attending the driveway with curly hair that day was upset when I was requesting the bathroom to another girl in the front. The food wasn't as good as the first time I went, it got saggy in the box, as if you eat there the fries are crispy. Overall the food is good but if you eat there, hot and crispy and they are fast on preparing the food. I asked them if they can hold the preparation of my food while I went looking for a bathroom, but no because the food was ready and they had to put in the box to go. If it hadn't be ready, I would of just left unfortunately I had already paid too. Oh they did mentioned that the manager had told the employees since is an old building they don't have to have bathrooms available for customers. Not good.

4th time eating here and 1st time trying the quesadilla out. it was terrible. they make great sandwiches but quesadillas are NOT their thing. It was suuuuuper duper wet. i literally had to pat it down with a paper towel it was so bad. beyond it being wet, it didn’t taste good either. you can get a better quesadilla at taco bell

The only thing i like from here now is the french fries. I recently bought breakfast from here for my family. It was expensive ( same as ihop) and there was a hair in my father-in-laws food. .. He threw up and obviously didnt eat anymore. Terrible experience. The cheeseburgers aren't what they used to be, various times have they been undercooked with pieces of raw meat even after we've asked for well done burgers. I live so close and rarely visit this place.

Just spent 49.13 for three Cheese Burger combos. Gave a three dollar tip. For them to tell me I have to pay 1.50 for 3 ranch for my fries.

My husband ordered a club sandwich meal with onion rings instead of fries. 3 times that he wanted onion rings. I always check my whole drive thru order before pulling a foot forward. He was too hot and sure enough he got fries and they charged us extra for onion rings!

Great food but little to no regard for COVID-19. Almost no one is ever wearing a mask fully covering their mouth and nose. I love the food here but I just wish they’d put in a little more effort to keep the neighborhood safe.

I went to Troys with my family, and we had to go thru drive through. Which I don't mind. I got my food and it was in black styrofoam boxes and when I got home it was completely melted On the lid and my food tasted like plastic. Normally I'm not displeased. But this kind of bummed me out. Will always love the food, just hope to see improvement in this.

Ordered a “chicken wrap” burrito from them, opened it up because I hadn’t tasted any meat and it was basically a lettuce & bacon burrito (with a tiny side of chicken mixed in between). Terrible. If I came back I wouldn’t get anything other than a burger where they can’t cut corners to save costs as much.

I grew up in San Pedro always eating at this Burger spot. I drove 1,100 miles to visit my grandma and grab me a burger and some chili fries. The girl taking my order kept asking anything else after everything I ordered. She was rude as hell then asked me to repeat my order at the window then gave me attitude. I got some Coffee and it was old and Cold I ask for another fresh and hot or a refund and the Manager lady said no because it was 6:00pm and they only make coffee in the morning. I placed an order for pick . Large crispy fries. Thats it. It took over 20 minutes to get those ready even though on the phone they said 5 minutes. When i asked about my order they said it was almost done. The guy working the fryer left them undercooked on purpose, because i said that my order was taking to long. He's unprofessional and can't work under pressure, ive seen him yelling before and getting frustrated. I love my fries from there but this guy isn't cutting it.

I have giving this place many chances. They always mess up our order. Drive thru takes for ever just to get a attitude from women taking payment and giving us our food. ⚠ Food Poisoning – Be Careful My two children (ages 5 and 6) and ate here on Feb 13th 2026 around 6:00 PM and ordered A hamburger and cheeseburger with fries. Within about 13 hours (around 7:00 AM the next morning) both kids woke up vomiting and had severe diarrhea. Both kids got sick after eating the same food, and the symptoms were consistent with foodborne illness. This was very upsetting and exhausting — no one should have to see young children that sick after a meal out. I’ve reported this to the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health so it can be investigated. I’m sharing this review to help other families be aware and for the restaurant to address any food safety issues. Unfortunately we won’t be returning.

I NEVER write reviews .. but this meal was so horrifically bad, I had to break my silence. All these GOOD REVIEWS are 100% FAKE. I ordered a cheeseburger and what I received should be illegal. The patty was so pathetically thin it looked like it was sliced off a shadow. I’ve seen air with more substance. It was dry, flavorless, and sadder than a rainy Tuesday. And the onion rings? STALE. Like they’d been sitting in a dusty corner of the kitchen since last year. Zero crunch. Zero seasoning. Just circles of pure disappointment. But wait — it gets worse. 1st time experience -Pros: We went through the drive thru, and the guy who took our order (standing outside in the rain) was extremely kind and professional. My chili cheese fries were a little spicy and delicious. -Cons: EXPENSIVE! My husband described his burger as "flavorless." My kid's corn dog meal was burnt, looked like it had a bite taken out of it, plus another big chunk missing. Why did it even leave the restaurant? Overall, we will not be coming back. Over priced and the corn dog was really a deal breaker.
