Since my last review, the service has improved a lot. The food is amazing as usual. Plenty of places to sit. Quiet place to eat at and customer service has improved. It's been my regular place to go to when I can afford it.

Service was all right on Thanksgiving day. The waitress seemed like she definitely didn't wanted to be there. She was nice towards the end when it was time to pay though.

OMG! ALL IN CAPS!!!! YES..... I HAVEN'T BEEN HERE SINCE I MOVED TO SAN RAFAEL..... ITS 🐰 EASTER AND WANTED TO EAT SOMETHING LIKE HOMEMADE AND WARM AND GOOD... CAME HERE AND WAS IN COMPLETE AWEEEE.... WAS HELPED WITHOUT QUESTION IN LIKE 5 MINUTES I WAS SITTING ON A TABLE.. WITHIN 7 OF ME ORDERING MY FOOD IT FINALLY ARRIVED.... AND IT WAS SCRUMPTIOUS AND SUPER DELICIOUS... IHOP never doesn't not perform like a Waffle House's more mature, older brother. Savor that coffee for $4 a glass though.

Well the food was fine but that was probably the worst coffee and orange juice I've ever had in my life. The people in front of me complained about the coffee being weak and they were right. That's definitely not fresh squeezed orange juice, it was from concentrate or frozen. The coffee was weak and also bitter at the same time. I also ordered wheat toast but I was given white which I don't care but you know it's not what I asked for. The staff were very friendly and fast though. Probably won't go back

The coffee is so thin as to be indistinguishable from water. The waitress was completely confused by the word "scramble". However, the Chicken Fajita Omelette was decent. I'll come back for the omelette, but get my coffee elsewhere.

To start out the place was practically empty Male server was rude walked away halfway through my drink order. Food was cold . Got the bill they had forgotten my burger to go order even though while still eating I reminded them..had to wait an extra 20min my burger thrown together and under cooked. For paying over $70 I would expect better.

Gave this place another try after a good year of not going. In general food is still gross and not even made in kitchen. Ordered crepes and received rubber-like flops. You can see it’s frozen food and not cooked right, didn’t pay for it so thats great. But never going there again.

These people don’t allow service dogs, dog size of a small cat in a backpack sitting quite like a mouse made them freak out. Crazy people.

Worst Eggs Benedict🥴🥹😔 ever! I returned it to their cook! Check out the images below ! Also wrong omelette for my husband. He asked for Colorado omelette with hush browns and sourdough toast on the side! Server gave him Steak omelette , forgot the hash browns & was served with whole wheat!🤓🧐 Service went down totally😫run away ! Poor Ihop in San Rafael, this place used to be nice, not anymore!!!😔😖😩😢 At least they did not charged my screaming Eggs Benedict .

UPDATE: 7:30 in the morning and the bathrooms were clearly not cleaned over the night-time. Poop on all 3 toilets, mirrors splashed with water, trash completely full and paper towels not replaced. This is after I sat on a seat that had salt or something spilled all over it. ORIGINAL POST: Onion rings were not fried looking enough. Other than that, the steak cheese burger was awesome. Tasted great. Chicken sandwich, awesome. Crispy lettuce, onions, tomatoes. We chose to order off the happy hour menu and spent less than $20 with an awesome orange juice. The guys was so good, we forgot to take initial pics

I went there to order lunch for me and my daughter. The menu stated one thing which I was trying to order. The server said that's not for me. I said but it's on your menu. She said that she needs to call her manager. I'm thinking, why do you need to call your manager about something that's on the menu. She came back with the phone and I could hear the manager on the other end. I was stating that the menu said that it comes with sides with the order. It even lists the sides for you to choose from. She said no, that's not for you. I said so your menu says one thing and you're telling me another. You want me to pay and get less than what the meal comes with. She says yes. I said I'm out of here and I'm contacting your corporate office. She said go ahead. I don't care. So, if you're in San Rafael, and you want some food, avoid IHOP!!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I WILL NEVER GIVE THEM MY MONEY AGAIN. I'M GOING TO WARN EVERYONE I KNOW TO AVOID ALL IHOP RESTAURANTS.
