Ramen on a rainy day was a perfect pairing. My office and I scrambled to get a To-Go order in for our lunch today: our first choice was unresponsive to our online inquiry or answering their phones to let us know that To-Go wasn't an option for their place anymore.. so we found this spot. Excellent Customer service, first and foremost. I will sing praises of this place for their patience, their attention to detail and thoughtfulness of our situation. Both people behind the counter were amazing folks, and they were swamped with people coming through for their lunch rush and having phone calls and To-Go orders made at the location. They were awesome! The food was well worth it. I received the Miso Ramen and it was a beautiful, traditionally made dish. Everything was portioned perfectly and the tempature was still hot when I got to it. They packaged it well and with the most thought! I never had to worry about the Raman dishes spilling or getting ruined! They even added a hi-chew! Haha I love that! I don't live in this area, but if I work here again, I know I can come back to this place!

Well the place is beautiful, I love the vibe on the restaurant nice music not to loud I meant if you have a business meeting I highly recommend this place. The restaurant is really clean that particular reason made me believe the food will be great. The Miso I enjoy today was so tasty way better the one on Japan town by Geary, every single item taste really fresh like recently made. I'm so exigent about this two reason recently made and fresh the bamboo shots were perfect as well the asparagus the miso broth was amazing no so hot which work really good for me. I fell like a really nice beautiful choreography on my mouth were all the ingredients complements each other so well really worth the money. come and enjoy a great Miso and a Hot Green Tea. highly recommend Uchiwa Ramen

Always a fresh, delicious and healthy meal from Uchiwa! The staff is knowledgeable about their menu and it’s a pleasantly dependable experience. Five stars!

I tried this place today for the first time. It's delicious. I had the Tonokotsu and found it super flavorful. The pork was delicious and fresh. The broth was rich and super flavorful - but not TOO heavy or greasy at all. The service was really friendly and the staff were knowledgeable. I will be back and think this is a lovely gem of a restaurant.

Second time at this ramen shop, the tonkatsu ramen is very delicious, but also very very rich. It's a good size portion, so we don't order anything else. Staff is super nice and the food comes out really quick. Will be going back to try the other ramen broths.

This is my go to for Ramen in Marin if I'm I can't make it into Uchiwa has a simple Ramen menu just like the Ramen shops in Japan. They specialize in Ramen and the atmosphere inside of the restaurant is quaint and inviting. I had an order to go and keeping the soup separate from the noodles and other ingredients kept the noodles firm. I recommend Uchiwa Ramen !

We did take out because we were both a little under the weather, and the miso broth in the vegetarian udon dishes was absolutely perfect, and just what we needed!

We stumbled upon this place and are happy we did! The ramen is good and fresh with a lot of flavor. We did the karaage as well and the flavor was amazing but the texture was not as crispy as I'm sure it is when it's fresh at the restaurant. We had to take it home of course until dine-in is allowed. Really good and I'd go back to try different dishes for sure.

First time having ramen. Pretty standard ramen joint, nothing that sticks out. Ramen was good, appetizers were a bit underwhelming. A little pricier than I'd like, about $30 for ramen and appetizers, but there are cheaper options. Pretty solid spot. Staff is very attentive.

Overall, the vegan ramen was great. The broth left a little something to be desired. I prefer the tofu very firm. I also ordered extra noodles, and it didn't seem to come with much more.

I got the vegan shio ramen and it didn’t have much taste at all. Maybe I was setting myself up for failure because most vegetarian ramen broths don’t pack as much flavor as the meat-based ones but this one felt especially disappointing. I had to add a bunch of the chili seasoning to give it some taste. My friend got a meat-based one but said his tasted very average too.

I don’t recommend ordering the chicken katsu. It is a small portion for the price. I spoke with the manager who was clear that this was the serving size and was friendly. I would expect more for the price and was surprised. Will not order from here again. We do enjoy eating their ramen though. One recommendation would be to charge more and provide more chicken.
