This was my first visit to this location. I ordered a chicken salad which was fantastic. The dressing for the salad paired well with the seasoned chicken. While it was being prepared I added a cup of tea and then a baklava. If I had more time for lunch I would have ordered more. Maybe it was the great weather, the double doors open to a beautiful day, and a delicious cup of hot cardamom tea that I enjoyed. Regardless, the food and the location are highly recommended. I plan on coming back to try the family dinner special.

Came here with the family and had a great experience. The bolani gandana was so fresh and delicious! One of the best we've had. The kebabs were fresh, perfectly seasoned and really great. Or server was the sweetest young girl who was polite, accommodating and super fun to talk to. We will def be back with more family. Also, they have beautiful plants which brought a beautiful energy to the space.

I had an exceptional experience at Chopan Kabab Restaurant, and I can't speak highly enough about Hosam's outstanding customer service. The service is better 10 times it used to be . From the moment I walked in, he greeted me with a warm and genuine welcome, instantly making me feel at home. Hosam's attentiveness was perfect—he was always there when needed, but never overbearing. His knowledge of the menu was impressive, and he answered every question with enthusiasm and care. He even went above and beyond by offering us tea and extra salad, adding a thoughtful touch to the experience. I would highly recommend asking for Hosam during your visit; you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the level of service he provides!

Food was delicious. We tried the Teka, chicken, and lamb kabobs and the Karahi and bolani. All of the duchess were delicious except for the Karahi. The hostess Marwaa was great. She made us feel welcomed and gave our impatient baby a bowl of rice. Our experience was pleasant and I would totally recommend this place.

I had to try their infamous Bolanis, and it did not disappoint. It reminded me of an exotic Chinese onion pancakes with dips. Must try! The grilled shami kebabs were tasty and yummy. The Tandkori chicken came out smoking Hot and sexy! 🔥And it was so flavorful and tasty!! The Chicken Karahi had a delicious sauce that was so perfect with the rice. Yes! Bahklava is a must, but the Firni was so light and refreshing like panna cotta.

I was so pleasantly surprised by the tender, flavorful plates from here today. You can taste everything is made by hand in the kitchen, from the Naan, to the tikka masala and the lamb. Omg the lamb...I was gnawing on the bones like some wild man who hasn't eaten in days. Family run business. I would recommend stopping by anytime for eat in, takeout or having them prep meat to eat at a party/BBQ. Omg the lamb. The flavor of the tikka masala sauce really accentuates the pilaf. Lastly, Baklava, did you know he makes it himself and he used to own a bakery. I really can't emphasize the tender flavor where the honey oozes out. I tried it, ate more, then realized, "oh a pic would have helped" if I weren't such a T-rex eating first n thinking later.

I’ve been to Chopan Kabob so many times, and every single visit has been consistently amazing. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and truly stands out — you can taste the quality in every bite. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious, but I especially always crave their chapli kabob… it’s that good! I’ve also attended events in their private back area, and the ambiance is beautiful and welcoming. It’s such a great space for gatherings, and the food is always on point for events too. On top of that, the owner and staff are incredibly kind and hospitable, which makes the whole experience even better. They serve delicious food, good portions and the prices are also reasonable. The outdoor area is perfect for big parties, highly recommend this place.

I've had most of the items off of the menu, my go to dish is the chapli kabob. Over the few times I've been there and the friends that have gotten food from there, it's been consistently well crafted and always tasty. Why only four stars and not five? The prices are just a little steep, the orders always get expensive real fast. Totally recommend.

We decided to try this restaurant for the first time and ordered the chicken breast kabob through DoorDash. Unfortunately, the food was tasteless. The dish included six pieces of chicken, plain rice, salad, and naan bread. The chicken lacked flavor, the rice was plain, and the naan was hard to eat. I tried other kabob places and the taste is better. I won’t be ordering from this place again.

Very bad customer service food taste like crap

I called for sheer yak ice cream. They said yes they have it. I told them that i was on my way. When i got there they told me they dont have it. I told them i called before coming and he said you probably called somewhere else. I showed him his own number, he said it wasn't theirs lol

Don’t go to this place specially the buffet is Not delicious there’s only one kind of meet just chicken the soup and the chicken Kabab is raw not even cooked the Chaplin kabab is bad I really don’t want to go to this place anymore waist of money zero star

The chicken in chicken Karahi was too hard and chewy. The Qabli pilaf was cold. The bread was hard and cold. Any restaurant that uses a microwave is probably not a good place. Food didn’t feel fresh at all

This place was recommended and I have read the reviews that they have the best Bolani so we ordered two boxes! One box had good amount of potatoes and other ingredients but the other was so disappointing that I have never eaten Bolani without the potatoes and only some ingredients which doesn’t matter when the potatoes are missing! One of the cheapest vegetables in the market is potatoes and the cost of the Bolani is sure a profit for them but I’m not gonna take the chance again. The photo I posted is the exact Bolani we got and nothing was changed to make this restaurant look bad and we don’t have anything against them except we have to go somewhere else!

I had a very disappointing experience at Chopan Kabob. The restaurant was extremely crowded with too many guests, which made the whole experience uncomfortable and poorly managed. On top of that, I was charged more than the actual price, which was very frustrating. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was also the worst I’ve had at an Afghan restaurant. The dishes lacked flavor and did not feel fresh. Overall, between the overcharging, the overcrowded environment, and the poor food quality, this visit was very disappointing. I would not recommend this place based on my experience.
