Mendocino Farms

Came with friends. Loved my soup and sandwich. Will have to return to try more healthy and yummy options.

This is one of the top 3 Mendocino farm locations for me. Actually almost all the chain restaurants in Bishop Ranch City Center are great among their locations but I digress. There's outdoor tables facing the grassy center of the whole complex. There's a grassy bench right outside of the store but I think that's for purely decorative purposes as it is prickly. The gassy cow is on the inside. There's actually a booth right next to it and crayons 🖍 for the kids. I got the seasonal strawberry feta salad and the seasonal watermelon side. The latter was a bit too saucy and spicy like a watermelon margarita but not in a good way. I ordered it because I really liked their seasonal watermelon salad in the past. But everything tasted fresh which is what matters.

They need one of these in every town. Mendo is my macro friendly go to spot anytime I need a quick fresh bite with healthy greens and proteins. This blue cow will never steer you wrong and to date I haven't had a single thing on the menu that hasn't been delicious but if your new just get the Avocado Quinoa with Chicken. It is a classic fresh Zest you will love!

Wow. I dont know how to convey that this place has the best sandwiches ever. Not only are they super vegan and vegetarian friendly, but they also have tons of fresh meats and crazy sandwich combinations. I got the Mendo's Smokehouse Tempeh Sandwich and it came with mustard slaw, and aioli on a ciabatta roll. It was so delicious and refreshing to not have to just get a veggie burger or overpriced vegetable sandwich that I'm usually stuck with. What a refreshing change of pace. While the price point is a little higher than your standard Corner Bakery ($10-$15 for sandwiches) it's well worth it. The ingredients are fresh and the service was fantastic. They let you try any of the sides as well to make sure you like it. We got a Greek pasta salad which was great. Also astroturf tables?! Yes, please.

I had the pleasure of dining at this Mendocino Farms location last night for the first time! It was amazing to say the least! The food was great, the atmosphere was impeccable, and the service was TOP-TIER! Definitely will be coming back. Joey recommended us the best sandwiches and Guava Lemonade was stupendous!!!!!! A must try!

Joseph had the best holiday cheer; him and Jennifer provided the best experience. The food was outstanding, I’ve been to a lot of Mendos but my salad was exceptional at this location.

Jennifer, who took our order was amazing. I was looking for a salad dressing that is close to honey mustard and sine Mendocino farm doesn’t have one she wholeheartedly helped me find a dressing.

The food was amazing and high quality! They even provided a kids menu with coloring sheets. The bathrooms are sanitary and on theme too!

Joseph and his team are killing it! Super friendly and the food is delicious. You should def try their chicken farro soup perfect for the cold weather

Everything was 10/10 from the food to the workers. Everyone was very well trained and very polite amazing atmosphere as well! Came in from a hot stressful day and came out full from the amazing food they prepared. 10/10 would recommend. Mendocino Farms inside Be Shop Mall is usually busy, and for good reason. The place has a great atmosphere and the staff is friendly and welcoming. I ordered a sandwich, and not only was it made super fast, but the quality was also top-notch—fresh ingredients, great flavor, and generous portions. Even with the crowd, the service was efficient and smooth. It’s definitely a solid spot for a quick, satisfying, and high-quality meal. I’ll be coming back for sure.

I rarely give a restaurant 5 stars, but this one deserves every one of them! The atmosphere is fun, very clean and has seating options both inside and outside. The staff are very friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious! Every item we ordered was a hit including the Peruvian Steak Sandwich, the Thai Mango Salad (we subbed tofu for the chicken), the Vegan Banh Mi and the potato salad. And to top if off they had a variety of drink options including a 4 homemade options: Pomegranate Mint Lemonade, Classic Lemonade, Passion Fruit Black Tea and Get Your Greens Agua Fresca.

The food is just so fresh. I recommend.

Have eaten here 4 times already and have enjoyed the food each time. The line goes out the door, but it goes by fairly quickly. Service is definitely faster since the soft opening. Each sandwich and salad ranges from $11-15, but you get what you pay for; ingredients are fresh and you don't feel like you have to do an extra hour of cardio after. So far my favorites are the chimichurri steak sandwich and the superfood salad with chicken. The impossible queen burger is good, but it didn't fill me up and didn't hold together very well; lettuce and sauce kept falling out. My nephew tried the impossible queen burger on a pretzel bun (not vegan) instead and added avocado. The pretzel bun made it more filling and held the lettuce in better. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for something quick, healthy, and light, yet still fairly filling.

Enter through rear/side door and just pick up bagged and sealed to go on the shelves on the left. The superfood avocado quinoa (see pics!) is my go to... It’s not cheap... adding bacon ($1) and chicken (it’s cold but works for $3) makes this a $16+ salad but it is 2 meals for me. It’s huge. There’s plenty of seating outside, around the shopping complex, and a large open area.

I don't usually leave reviews unless I've had an absolutely positive experience. But this one was so good. I'm from Minnesota just visiting and came in for dinner. I ordered a Golden State Cobb salad and a not so fired chicken Sammie. The salad was so refreshing and the quality of the ingredients made it that more tasty. The chicken Sammie also was delish. The lettuce is crisp and tomatoes were big and red and just had the best flavor. Enjoyed it so much! Will who greeted me is so friendly and helpful being jt was my first time. He made this experience for me great. Also Joseph the manager came by my table to check in to see how I was enjoying my meal. I will definitely be returning whenever I'm in town. Thank u Will and Joseph! Also 11/10 highly recommend.

I order from Mendocino Farms in San Ramon at least three times a week — and it never disappoints. At this point, the manager has started recognizing me, which says so much about how welcoming and attentive the team is. The staff is consistently friendly, efficient, and genuinely helpful. The food is ridiculously good — super fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully put together. I have a rotating lineup of favorites, but I honestly don’t think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. It’s rare to find a place that delivers this level of quality and consistency every single time. I’m so grateful to have this spot right downstairs from where I work. And bonus: on Wednesdays, kids eat free. Boo-yah.

Great vegan place with a fitting aesthetic. Service is very fast thanks to the unique ordering method. Only had to wait around a minute for the food to be served. I recommend sitting inside because it's cleaner and seems to be consistently maintained.

Super fresh and reasonably priced no wonder it's always packed! Took one star out due to lack of seating! Very friendly millenial serving staff raised right by their gen X parents!

Stopped by for lunch during the work day rush. Sat on the funny fake grash benches in the warm sun and loved my salad and side of orzo! A little on the pricier side for lunch, but that's to be expected in the new Bishop ranch shopping center area. I got the salad with prosciutto and it came with chicken breast as well as some fresh mozzarella and lots of other goodies. I wasn't planning to get the orzo but tried a sample which sold me on it, it was curried with a slight kick of spiciness.

Most benches they have (some indoor some outdoor) are artificial grass if that's for you. They have a lot of outside seating a some big tables inside. I recommend this place if you're not that hungry, the food is good. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The place was pretty good. It took them about 20 minutes for 2 small sandwiches and 2 salads. I think after covid they made all of the dishes small and only have 1 size. Most benches they have (some indoor some outdoor) are artificial grass if that's for you. They have a lot of outside seating a some big tables inside. You have two people standing right when you enter and you place your order only for the sandwich with them, even though there is a touch screen which is self explanatory. You don't pay there you then walk around to another area and can order more stuff like a drink or pasta. Then they ask for your name and you pay. The food portion is lacking. My bun mi sandwich has barley any pork. The Turkey sandwich was dry and the bread tasted stale. Staff is polite but dude came and stared wiping down are table and moved are cups around while we were finishing up eating. Very rude. $42 for 3 sandwiches. Definitely worth it. There are plenty of other sandwich shops that do it better.

02/04/2026 I'm hopeful that at some point they will get my order correct. I asked for extra mayo on the side, didn't get it. Said no apples, got apples. 🤦‍♀️ No side! I'm allergic to apples. Such a waste. 11/05/2025 I always put 'no side,' yet they always give it to me. Such a waste. The last online order was completely wrong. Thank goodness I checked before I left.

I ordered from them via UberEats and it took them an hour to make. When my order finally arrived 2 hours after ordering my sandwich was missing… terrible.
