Wang Cho Korean BBQ is highly praised for its excellent service and delicious AYCE KBBQ. Customers rave about the variety of food options, clean environment, and attentive staff. Some find the noise level high and prices a bit steep.

To my surprise, this place was really good. From the moment we arrived, the service was fast and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Everything ran smoothly and we barely had to wait. The food was excellent — the meat is top quality, with premium cuts and great flavor. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared, and the overall experience was very enjoyable. I honestly recommend it, especially if you like Korean BBQ and want a place where both quality and service are worth it. Very good spot.
Food was great but the service was excellent! They were patient and were always checking on us to make sure we had everything we need. Hands down best service and korean bbq in OC! Bless the hands that prepared our dinner too! 🙏 ❤
I am a meat lover, so this place is perfect! The food and the service is exceptional! There's plenty of parking, and I didn't have a long wait. The consistent changing of the grills is a good thing, however, along with the collecting of the dishes, the noise level is up there. It's still a fun experience.
Wang Cho is hands down the best KBBQ option in the Costa Mesa/Irvine area. Having lived in both Koreatown LA and NYC (spending plenty of time on K-Street), I’ve tried my fair share of KBBQ, and Wang Cho absolutely holds its own. The meat quality and drink selection are fantastic, especially for the price point. Beyond the food, the service is what really sets them apart—the employees are wonderful and always make the experience great. If you’re in town for business or live locally, you’re seriously missing out if you don't choose this spot. Huge shoutout to Bailey and Irene and the rest of the team for the excellent service!
Great service from staff. Place is very clean and floors are not slippery. Food is really good overall. The steamed egg is good but could have used a little salt. I love that they have rice and radish paper. Staff regularly changes our grills for you. Venting of the place seems pretty good. Didn't smell too much like kbbq. Plenty of parking in the area.
Only AYCE KBBQ place that has let me get a table for 1! Great since i dont always have a friend who wants to join me but crave kbbq after work. Prince menu which is cheapest option had everything i liked so went with that. Service was phenomenal i had someone checking on me within every 5 min. I was able to get in and out eating 8 orders of meat in less than 45 minutes! It was a busy night too so id assume service is even better when it is slow. No complaints highly recommend
I visited Wang Cho KBBQ in Irvine with my mother and my beautiful niece. I found the restaurant through Google Maps while looking for a nice place to treat them to some good KBBQ, and this was our first time there. It turned out to be an all-you-can-eat spot. The restaurant was extremely clean and stylish—almost like walking into a high-end place. Everything felt well-maintained and impressive. Personally, I’ve never had great experiences with all-you-can-eat KBBQ. Many places tend to season their marinated meats too heavily, almost in a way that makes you want to drink more, so I usually avoid marinated meats. But my niece loves them, so we ordered some and I was genuinely surprised. The seasoning wasn’t overly strong at all, and the flavor was far better than I expected. I’ve been cooking for over 20 years, so I’m very sensitive to seasoning and taste, and Wang Cho KBBQ did an excellent job. One thing I did find a bit disappointing was that although there were different types of marinated meats, they seemed to use the same marinade for all of them. I was hoping each cut would have its own distinct flavor. Still, my mother and my niece were very satisfied, and we ended up having a wonderful time together. Overall, it was a great experience.
You can always count on Wang Cho for great service! I've been here a few times and almost every time I find myself amazed by the service. My party of 4 came on a Sunday at opening and we NEVER had to flag anyone down during our meal. The servers continuously asked us if we needed anything, changed our grills, checked up on us. IT WAS AMAZING! They were also so quick and didn't forget a single thing. The meats here are great as well but the main star is the BEEF BELLY! Really great beef belly. Tried a few of the other meats which were also good but the beef belly was the best. Had a great time and I'll definitely be back! I love the Yelp waitlist option as well :)
If you’re looking for top-tier Korean BBQ and world-class service, this is it you’re in the right spot! 🔥🥩 Everything was perfect the grill 🔥, the flavors 😋, the ambiance ✨. And Tiffany? She’s a rockstar 🌟💯 So professional and friendly. She made sure our table had everything before we even asked 🙌🍽️. Can’t wait to come back!
I recently visited Wang Cho All You Can Eat Korean BBQ, and I can't stop raving about it! The food was incredibly delicious with a wide variety of options to choose from. The all-you-can-eat concept was fantastic, allowing me to sample a little bit of everything. However, what truly stood out was the service. The staff at Wang Cho went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was top-notch. They were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any request. The service was absolutely the best I've ever experienced. Overall, I highly recommend Wang Cho All You Can Eat Korean BBQ for not only the mouthwatering food but also for the exceptional service that truly elevates the dining experience. I will definitely be returning soon!
It was a great experience and great food. For a Saturday night, we were seated promptly. Overall, be ready to have an excellent meal and give yourselves at least an hour and a half to really enjoy it. It's great to take the wife have a drink or two and catch up on your weekly conversations. Stop by and enjoy.
Great place for an AYCE Korean BBQ. We came in a group of 4 (+1 baby) and ordered the King menu for each of us. I recommended the first 9 items. They were really good. Garlic butter shrimps, tofu stew, and steamed egg were on point. House noodle soup was also very tasty, as well as corn cheese. Assorted vegetables were also very fresh. The only thing I disliked was rice soup. It was very plain, like basically just roasted rice with boiled water. The service was fast. Staff were nice and helpful. They moved fast, served fast and cleaned fast, too. I would recommend this place if you like Korean BBQ and AYCE.
Loved this BBQ place especially when you do it yourself at the table...you season it to your liking and of course to your preference on wellness of your meats. Loved it out door dining was nice finally having some grilling done...awwww my mouth just watered seeing my pictures again...service was excellent and fast upon your requests of the meats you order 🤤♥️he cooked so my heart melt too Yes💯🙌Sake perfect for me.,,beer for him!! Cheers 🍶🍺
3-tiers of AYCE dinning plan:$35 /$40/ $49 per person before tax and tips. (See pictures for the price updated on Feb 6, 2026) Went there at around 5:30PM Friday night, surprisingly no need to wait. The food is good , the price is okay in Southern California. The service is good - they keeps offering exchange of the grilling grids, very nice.
A Hidden Gem for BBQ Lovers! ⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you're looking for an affordable spot with endless variety, Wang Cho is the place to be! I absolutely loved the BBQ section—the best part is they can even grill it for you, even on weekends. The variety here is impressive: Fresh Sushi & Cold Sections: Tons of options to start your meal. The BBQ: Flavorful and cooked perfectly. Dessert Bar: A huge selection to satisfy your sweet tooth! Don't let the older building fool you; the interior is clean, tidy, and smells fresh. The staff are incredibly hospitable and friendly, making the experience even better. We visited on a weekday and had plenty of seating. It’s a solid buffet that holds its own against the big names!
Wang Cho BBQ Grill All You Can Eat is a solid choice if you’re looking for a budget-friendly BBQ spot that will leave you full and satisfied. The price is reasonable for the servings you get, and the quality of the meat is good. It’s nothing overly fancy or premium, but it’s definitely worth it for what you pay. If you’re not expecting top-tier, high-end cuts, you’ll enjoy this place. For its affordable price compared to other all-you-can-eat BBQ spots, it delivers well. You really get your money’s worth, and you’ll leave feeling satisfied. This is a great place to try, especially if you’re dining with a group. It’s fun, filling, and easy on the wallet. Plus, the staff are very friendly and welcoming, which makes the overall experience even better. Overall, Wang Cho BBQ Grill All You Can Eat is worth trying—good food, good value, and a pleasant atmosphere.
Very nice experience good spot, I prefer locations at Korea town. Was almost $200 for 4 people $35 per person. I like when other spots I’d find $20-25 per person helps a lot with the bill just as good food too
One of the better quality AYCE buffet left in OC. This place was nice and clean. Meat was quality. The egg drop soup was good! The other soup with the noodle is mediocre. Corn cheese was yummy. They have a nice variation of banchan which was a plus. Service was great, and price was fair. I will definitely comeback when I am in the mood for Korean bbq
Before you go look at the pricing. If you choose the all you can eat everyone must have the all you can eat. And it's for only 2 hours. Research the prices because the menu is similar with a 10 dollar upgrade. The website said 17.00 when we got there it was 29.00 for basic. The seasoning is ok but not great. The staff is great.
Quality of meat is exceptional, service is great and beyond expectation however it will make this place a " must returned" if these following criteria are meet: 1. Salad bar and wrapping vegetables: it is disappointed to say that there is NONE OF THEM EXISTS. No wrapping Lettuce, no rice wrappers so Be cautious if you look for traditional Korean BBQ style Restaurant. We can't just eat meat the whole time 2. Dressing sauce: usually there is a Lemon pepper Salt, or decent dressing sauce, none here. Totally not at the restaurant point of interest 3. Staff seems to rush us out of here when time limit ran out , totally not happy about it. We understand there is shift ending procedures but it gotta be a better way We left tip as staff was good at the moment we ate but gradually bad toward the end. Driving from the South bay, fighting heavy traffic to get here yet we found it just under our expectations for the time, efforts and money we spent This type of restaurant can be easily found in any County yet it will be a returned point if owner care to fix these We won't come back
The place is nice . But this one server /waitress . Her name is Jordan. I didn’t like her service . We had a party of 5 ppl. We had hair in our Mac . Also when we asked for refills on the sides , u can tell she was getting irritated. We were breaking our Ramadan fast and we were a bit hungry . We were actually very sweet with her . We even left a 30 bucks as a tip. Tbh I’m not going back anymore . I’m big on service and if I’m pay I’m expecting a good attitude. She shouldn’t be working as a server . She better change that attitude. Bad look for her . But the food was good . Just her attitude.
