I’m not vegan and really enjoyed this spot. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. You order at the counter and pick a table inside or outside. They have a nice outdoor area directly on State with heaters. Wine list is great and the food layered with flavor and delicious. I’m not vegan but I certainly appreciated this nutritious stop.

Great food and playlist. One of the most memorable food experiences in my life. Definitely in my top 5. As a person who does not eat vegetarian food often, I love trying different vegetarian food restaurants to contrast it to my daily routine food selection. Often vegetarian resultants are amazing. However Satellite SB is above abs beyond. The music, the vibe, the aesthetic, and importantly the good are the next level. 20230110

Loved it! As we’re travelling around the US for 6 months and looking for places with natural wine we were thrilled to find Satellite on our quick stop in SB. We had an early dinner with our kids and loved it. everything was delicious. Bought a few bottles too. Highly recommend!

Really unique place- love the atmosphere, food options and veg/vegan setup! unique items that taste nice and easy to share. The cake size was huge! I want to especially thank Employee Ana for her kindness, care, and attention. I hope management can recognize her in some way. :) I came back to try lunch the next day. Will be stopping here to try the jumbo salad sometime. Also a shoutout to Sean! Decoration & flowers are lovely.

It's a great place to unwind with friends or enjoy a date night. I also appreciated the attention to detail in the space themed decor, which added to the overall ambiance. Overall, I would definitely recommend Satellite to anyone looking for a unique wine bar experience in Santa Barbara. The space-themed concept, friendly staff, and great wine selection make it a great spot to visit!

Yummy vegetarian spot right on State Street. Loved the vibe and outdoor seating. Was in a rush and came for lunch so just had a salad and a grilled cheese (and a spritz, of course!) but both were really good. Looking forward to coming back and trying out more menu items!

Go for the vibes, stay for the fantastic selection of wines! It was so nice to sit outside away from the busyness of downtown and enjoy some wine before dinner. Staff was great, can’t beat the location, the place is very clean and well designed. Great spot to meet up with friends.

I was waiting for my wife here due to a different speed at which we enjoyed SB art museum, so I just got a couple of glasses of local Syrah. great friendly service, nice atmosphere.

Some of the best vegetarian food I've ever had, and a beautiful place to enjoy the sunset! We had the tomato confit, charred broccolini, and cheese plate - all were absolutely incredible; even my non-vegetarian friend loved the food. Nice wine selection, friendly staff, and a lovely spot by State Street - an amazing introduction for a first-time visitor to Santa Barbara!

Outstanding food and wine. Many amazing Vegan options on their menu We ended up eating here twice during our stay in SB. Loved the laid back but moody ambiance for dinner and the outdoor patio for an afternoon sip. An incredibly talented Chef and Som combination. You can tell how fresh the farmers market ingredients are in every single dish. Also loved that I could feel good about the sipping on the incredibly delish organic and natural wine, some of which we were told can only be found here in all of the US. Looking forward to ordering some from their website when I return home. Will definitely be a SB staple for us!

Oh my god. This place is delicious. We had the Gigante Confit and the Grilled Cheese and both were the best we’ve tasted. They went together sublimely. Took the gorgeous lemon olive oil cake to savor later. Sitting on State Street and savoring good company, good music and flow of people to watch, birdsong and beauty all around…just the experience we most appreciate visiting beautiful Santa Barbara. ♥️

Totally genuine, funky spot on State Street. Satellite is distinct and punchy- seems like everything they serve has style and flavor. Refreshing and fun. Portions tend to be small and prices tend to be high, but this is a great spot for some light eats and bold wines.

Place is so accomadating! I called to see if this spot was pooch friendly, because I had a pup with me that didn't allow me to leave at my place of rent, so I gave them a call and immediately said they are dog friendly with doggy bowls to give a bit of H2O if you got a long walk ahead of you. Not only dog friendly, but the place has great vegan options and an optimal selection of wine. They made some bomb salads too, because they hand pick the greens from their very own street farmers market. I will be coming back to this place in the near future.

A lot of the folks who dine at Satellite are regulars because of their super cool wine club, so there’s an overall very fun community feeling at the restaurant. I went in with an open mind and an empty stomach looking for a healthy meal, and left feeling like an idiot for dropping over 20 dollars on some lukewarm lentils with god knows whatever else veggies on top. you couldn't even pop it in the microwave for a few seconds before sending it out?? not to mention the flavour really wasnt anything to write home about. the thought that popped in my head when I took the first bite was "Im an idiot." So yeah maybe you can peddle this stuff to locals and they eat it up, but even someone like me in a much lower tax bracket has standards and boy was I disappointed. The staff was friendly and I did like the interior and the music playing, so cheers to that.
