This place has a 90s era throwback feel with all of the pictures of customers who love what the chef puts into the dishes. Breakfast burritos with a kimchi-jalapeno salsa is a one of a kind experience. You will want to be coming back again not only for the food but because of the community the owner has fostered. A rare gem next to the San Jose Airport that feels more like someone welcoming you to a great home cooked meal. No one feels like a stranger here.

I only have good things to say. Ordered the breakfast burrito and it was perfect ratio of everything. He just has the breakfast burrito formula down to a science. Not greasy or messy. Just the right amount of everything. I also requested his kimchi jalapeño salsa its legit fire 🔥 spicy and tangy, such a perfect compliment to my food. I took my brother here on our way to pick up our sister from the airport. Honestly a perfect place to grab your food if you’re on airport pickup duty. No frill, hole in the wall food joint. Say hi to Kenny! Sadly, he took off the bulgogi option from his menu due to complaints from customers regarding the amount of garlic used making it a bit too spicy.

Service was hands down amazing. The guy is truly a nice guy with a good soul. Tried the breakfast burrito today and truly enjoyed it. Nothing to greasy or to salty. Was pretty good and his chipotle sauce went perfectly with the burrito. Would definitely come back to try the burgers

Go get food from Kenny! We stopped by for some early lunch since we were close by and this place is a gem. Its just Kenny in the kitchen and he cooks up some fire. We got a steak breakfast burrito and a Philly cheese steak and they were both LOADED with meat and cheese and deliciousness. Served with a Chipotle sauce on the side to top it all off. The food is worth every penny and you will leave satisfied and probably have to waddle to your car and take a nap since you will be extremely full. Kenny is a very authentic dude that provides A+ customer service and will be sure to stop by again if we are in the area again.

Came in around 9:45am on a sunday, no problems with free street parking Food was great, very filling and cheesy and savory. Ordered a Philly cheesesteak, steak sandwich and breakfast burrito Service was solid, we were asked about specific details of each order and followed up on. Atmosphere was nice, interior had lots of photographs that i presume the owner like taking pictures of with his family, customers and life in general. Good place to talk in groups of 5-6 inside or outside.

Have driven by Kenny's numerous times always thinking I'm going to stop there, well today I did. I got the bacon breakfast burrito, it comes overstuffed and it's superb! It's got this sweetness about it which normally I don't like but it works, like maple bacon or something I dunno. Hours are limited but if you have the time to make it there between 7am-12pm do yourself a favor and do it! Be prepared to be photographed, lol. Kenny is great, you're going to love this place.

The man, the myth, the legend—Kenny @ Kenny’s Cafe. His place? All heart. His food? Straight from the soul. I finally stopped by today after eyeing this spot online for a while, and wow—it far exceeded my expectations. I had the breakfast burrito with everything (grilled onions, jalapeños, the works) and a side of hot sauce. Hands down, one of the better breakfast burritos I’ve had—perfectly balanced, flavorful, and filling. But the food is just one part of what makes Kenny’s special. There aren’t many places left like this—where the food, the atmosphere, and the person running it are all working together to uplift the community. Kenny’s unbridled energy, enthusiasm, and love for people shine through in every bite. His rotating menu keeps things exciting, and based on what I had today, it’s clear: this is comfort food that hits deep. Thank you, Kenny, for the amazing experience. I’ll definitely be back to try that steak/bulgogi burrito and the burger. If you’re in the area, don’t sleep on this gem.

I was on this side of town picking up a Flamed Grooperstall from the artist known only as Q from his studio just a block away from Kenny's Café...What luck! I've heard a lot about Kenny's Café even up in Napa, and it's been on my list of places to go to for some time, and today I get to check it off my list! I got the Philly cheesesteak, and had him make it like a french dip, and it was Amazing! 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ and worthy of a two hour drive!

Ok, people were not kidding about the breakfast burrito. Had the #1 and it was tasty. My picture shows only half because I could not wait to eat it. Like some mentioned before, good portions on the ingredients. Would definitely come back.

Excellent find! I have driven by this place quite a few times, but never stop by till today. The owner Kenny is awesome. He runs a one man shop. He is amazingly friendly and his service is great. Upon entering, it is impossible not to recognize the photos of past customers. They cover every bit of open wall and ceiling space available. Kenny says there are over 22,000 photos. I ordered a breakfast burrito and was not disappointed. It featured rod eye steak, eggs, and potato’s, wrapped in a flour tortilla. It was excellent! Before I left, Kenny asked if he could a photo of me. I’ll definitely be back for food and to see if I can find my photo.

Happy I looked for a place to eat breakfast and found Kenny's. A restaurant with starts higher than 4.5 a love to try them. I loved his steak burrito served with the happiest man alive. I'll be back to try more great items on his menu. Great job Kenny!!

Ordered the breakfast burrito special. Let me tell you this was an excellent choice. The burrito was amazing. The salsa supplied was a little spicy but just right and full of flavor. Kenny was great and food came out fast.

First off I just want to say that I want to be like Kenny one day. Just happy and content with life, he'll for sure leave you with a smile walking out his cafe. Very few people find things that make them happy, but Kenny seems to truly love what he does and enjoys making others smile with his food. We tried one of the bacon and steak burritos and a sandwich and both tasted great. Didn't remind me of commercial restaurants or places that are all about the look. He gave a lot of food, at a fair price, and with a great taste. Couldn't ask for more. Reminded me of just going over to my family members house and having a good meal.

PSA: The shop was closed for a bit due to the gov shutdowns affecting his biz, but now it's open again! Step inside and you'll understand why Kenny is a local legend. We were greeted with a warm welcome, and hearty breakfast burritos. (I liked the bulgogi one better than the classic bacon / sausage!) Loved how the food was inspired by the folks he's met throughout his life – tortillas with the cheese melted on (Mexican), a unique adobo-inspired hot sauce (Filipino). This is the kind of small business, and small business owner, that really holds the fabric of the local community together. Thanks for feeding our bellies and our spirits!

I had an absolutely wonderful breakfast sandwich (egg/cheese) on sourdough here. Perfectly cooked! Get the spicy sauce! It was so good! Easy parking and nice vibes inside, too.

By far the best food in SJ, and the owner is an amazing individual. Please be kind and courteous, as Kenny runs the cafe by himself and cooks all the food by himself, do not expect your food to be ready instantly. My regular weekend spot, and it should be yours too.

Here's the deal: Is the food delicious? Absolutely. Are the food portions generous? Without a doubt. Does the menu offer tasty and unique options? Yes, it does. And does the owner go above and beyond to provide excellent customer service? Absolutely yes. In my opinion, it's difficult to request faster service, a cleaner environment, or more condiments for your food (like hot salsa, pepper, etc) when there are only one or two individuals managing the establishment. I believe that hiring more employees would be beneficial. Perhaps the most suitable alternative would be to place a takeout order. For lunch, I had the Breakfast Sandwich (without the beacon and sausage). Since I am a vegetarian, I asked if they could prepare it without the bacon and sausage. The owner was incredibly accommodating and cooked it separately in a different saucepan to prevent mixing with other meat dishes. I'll come back to try their breakfast burrito, which, unfortunately, was already sold out when I last visited.

I love hole in the wall places, and definitely understand inflation. But 18$ for a breakfast burrito, that to be honest, was not good at all. The burrito was mostly filled with chunky potatoes, barely any eggs and the sausage and bacon were trash. 1st time and last time customer here.
